This summer’s travel plans could be facing turbulence, as European airports warn of a potential jet fuel shortage linked to ongoing tensions in the Middle East. With reports of rising prices, possible flight cancellations, and disruption looming from as early as May, there are growing concerns about what it could mean for holidaymakers — and for regions like Clare that depend heavily on tourism. So, are we jetting off as planned, or could this crisis ground both travellers and local business hopes for the season ahead?
