I suppose it's productive to see that the clear-conquer council is going to proceed and identify a site and a funding stream. Yeah, it's excellent. It's definitely better than the answer we got last year. We got the answer to say that they didn't think it was feasible. And now I suppose the up-bind is that they have already identified and have a land allocated to dog park in Shannon. And it's shown how successful it is. And it's shown with very little land and area that can be taken and used as a dog park quite successfully. Even so, now that they're looking for a second location for another dog park. And you touched on it there, that it's fact that it's come up before and nearly every council are mentioned that they had said to them how important it would be to add to the town. So I suppose that just goes to show how important this piece of infrastructure is.

1:00As small as it may seem, would actually be in terms of an addition. Oh, definitely. It would be a game changer. It would take an awful lot of dog walkers off of the streets and into the neighbourhoods into a designated area and equally in our parks when they're walking around and let the dogs have a little bit of freedom of a leash where they can experience and mix with other dogs, which is always a positive. This has come up loads and the fact that Claire Colour and Malaya has brought it up previously and now again and Councillor Paul Murphy has brought it up and myself. It shows that it is an issue and people are asking us on the street, why can't we have this? And now when they see that Shannon have it, they're kind of saying, well, why doesn't the county town have it? Yeah, and you mentioned that Shannon example. It's such a successful project that they developed and of course, 18 or 19 dogs in there at one time, it really is something that's even, you know, Shannon's a big town in its own right, but you mentioned not having it in the county town, the fact that it's so successful

2:00in Shannon, it makes it all the more worthwhile having it in NS as well. Yeah, and equally now it's a big option, I suppose we have an engineer who has come from Shannon and has probably identified sites like this for them. So we're in the unique perspective now that he knows what to do, which is fantastic. And equally I would go further and say, and they need to identify at least three. NS is a massive place and you're not going to come from the guard road over to the to the toller road. We need one in nearly every little pocket and identifying places where you can come centrally and then, I suppose, locally is going to be a game changer for dog walkers and dogs alike. And just to finish on those sites, you mentioned, there was mention in the chamber of a couple of sites down by Claire Abbey or the old landfill site, I suppose, a great opportunity to make use of a vacant or derelict site as well. Fantastic. And like, I suppose to bring it on, like you walk your dogs down from the Claire Abbey, you go into this dog park, they can go off the lead, back under the lead, and not only are

3:01the dogs getting a little run around, you're getting your exercise in as well and it will be phenomenal when it's done and we need to keep on top of this now and hopefully this time next year we might have even two or three dog parks in and us. Thanks very much.
