About this episode
We're learning more about the man arrested near former President Obama’s DC home with weapons and allegedly explosive materials in his van. Prosecutors say he made his way there shortly after Donald Trump shared Obama’s address on social media. But before he was taken into custody his movements were captured on video. The public defender representing the accused says he made no specific threat, and his comments are protected by the first amendment. And, we've told you how store employees have been told to not interfere with shoplifters. Some even end up fired when they do. Now it has gone a step further. This guy was fired, he says, for just recording a suspected shoplifting in progress. Plus, July 4th may be behind us but we're continuing to hear horror stories about firework mishaps. This was the scary scene as explosives head right towards a group of friends enjoying Independence Day on a porch including young children. And, more than 500 people were rescued at Florida beaches over the last few days. A scary situation not only for the swimmers but for the lifeguards too. So, authorities are now considering charging parents with child neglect if they let their kids in the water when warning flags are posted.
