And hearings of the January 6th Committee resumed today with the focus on election night 2020 - ground zero for the “big lie” that somehow the election had been stolen from Donald Trump. The hearing opened with videotaped depositions of Trump's advisers claiming he had declared a premature victory at the urging of Rudy Giuliani - they also claim the former mayor of New York was intoxicated, which he denies. Plus, while the hearings have brought the threat of militia groups into the spotlight - over the weekend cops say another riot was thwarted.
