They are two of the most controversial picks as Donald Trump puts together his new cabinet. Former Congressman Matt Gaetz for attorney general and Fox TV host Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense. We now know both men have allegations of sexual misconduct in their past, which they have denied. So, will they get enough votes for confirmation?  And last night the President-elect held a blow-out, black-tie party at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. Among the guests, Robert Kennedy Jr. and his wife actress Cheryl Hines. Trump naming Kennedy as his health czar is getting big reaction - both pro and con. Plus, it became a political issue on the campaign trail - Donald Trump talking about 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley who was brutally murdered by an undocumented migrant while out on a run. Today the trial got underway with testimony from Laken's three roommates who relived the horror of that day. The suspect has pled not guilty and during his opening statements, the suspect's lawyer said the case is based on only circumstantial evidence. And a mother of a 10-year-old boy couldn't believe it when cops showed up at her door, put her under arrest, and in cuffs.
