He'll be back tomorrow. No, he told you had to travel. Is that what we're calling it? A funeral. All right, we can't show T. No, you can't show. Well, I just want to let people know what's going on. And he's out, but he'll be back tomorrow. Judges in the lineup, a second consecutive day. Oh, batting third and playing right field again. Yeah, how much is this him going, guys? I didn't even do anything last night. Please, let me play again. Right. Kabul Yero's at second because there's no jazz. So he jammed his finger left the game in the ninth inning. And we haven't gotten any details. We haven't heard from Boone yet, but he's out of the lineup tonight. So second consecutive day for Judge, which is good. General Soreness. No, you know what? I don't know. Yeah, that's correct. Kabul Yero's going to play a second base, at least tonight, game two of the three games set versus Colorado. 1-800-939-3776. And our pinnacle, Sujah, Winthrop came in. Yep. It just doesn't feel like football starting. Well, because it's Wednesday, on top of the fact that it feels like a Tuesday, because

of Labor Day yesterday, felt like a Monday. Let me throw this out. I said it's a strike. It's a strike. And Shrakes kind of just like, I think I'd better put him on the spot. Other than the COVID year, do you know the last time, and this is, actually, this is the last time. The NFL opened the season on a Wednesday. Like, it's familiar to me. I'm trying, but I can't place it when you asked. It might only be, it might be the only time. And listen, because COVID was a Christmas, right. That's when they did it on a Wednesday. I don't, but this was, they opened the season. They moved it for a reason. And it opened the season on a Wednesday. Yeah, it's right there. Because it was, it was one of the teams in the game. It was supposed to be a Thursday, but some, some of the was going on on the Thursday. Correct. Let me give you one of the teams. Yeah. Cowboys. Anyone?

Puehler? You know what? Don't answer it. Call it if you know 800, now, and now, and now, and three, seven, seven, six. I remember, I remember it at, or tweet at us. But you said it had a, so was it the Giants? Yeah. Yeah, you got it. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. But that's fine. Somebody would have gotten it. I'm glad it was me. It was Giants Cowboys, you know, the year and the reason. God, I, I just can't. I'm, I'm right, because I remember that, but it again, never stopped. Giants Cowboys opening a season. Of course, I'm going to forget it because the Cowboys probably destroyed them. I'd never stop it. This is big. For the Giants that night, it was a celebratory. Oh, so that was, that was the 95 Phil Sims game. You said it was celebratory. The, the only thing that you celebrate when you're playing the Cowboys is the retiring a number. Not always. The retired Phil LTs I was there for.

I want to make sure. I want to check. Just want to make sure because I love going back and then I'll give you more details. This is fun. I never stopped. And it was the opener. Yes, it was the opener of the season. So what was going on? It wouldn't have been, you know what? I, you're going to tell me and it's going to flood back. Yeah. Now, they, now, again, they'd be clear. They didn't, they didn't celebrate after the game because they didn't win. Right. But it was still a bit of a celebratory night. I know they retired a number. It was a celebratory night. Yeah. For the giant. Why would the giants open the NFL season? Why would they open the season? Why would they have to be the first team? Oh, because, because they won the Super Bowl. So this is, so this is 2012. Correct.

Yeah. But why did they get moved? I don't remember. It was only election year. Oh, it was an election year. But they're opening the season in September convention. Oh, speech. So it was the, so the, so the, the, the, the, the, the president at the time, I believe was Barack Obama was giving a speech. And the NFL did not want to go up against that. So they moved it. Thursday was this was when he was going to speak at the DNC. Mm. So they moved the game back. This is the reason I do. Oh, so 2012, you know what? 2012 was 2012 after the fight. Right. So, oh, that the speech was that we got been loved. Right. Was that it? It was, I think I didn't see the details of the speech. I just saw that the league moved the game because it didn't want to go up against the president speaking at the DNC.

I'm so where was the, because I was thinking it was the, was the, was the, because I remember the, the year that, but there was not 2012 when the year, when was the Democratic convention at the garden? And did they move it because? No, this one was in North Carolina. Oh, is it R and C and O four was a, was a, was a North Carolina? But the, yeah, it was from September 4th to the 6th. And this game was played on the fifth. But why was Barack speech so important if they couldn't play the game up against it? That he was the sitting president and he was. I don't even remember that. That for some reason that does, wasn't that long ago? Yeah. I forgot the game because the Giants got beat. Yeah. He's got beat on the national television against the Cowboys. Yeah. Yeah, I didn't remember that. And you know what?

You know Peter better than I do. He was being not, he was officially nominated for a second term. And that was his, why does that not, Anthony, does that jog your memory? Did you, did you remember that? I have, I don't remember that. Yeah. I really don't. I mean, I remember, I remember the game and I remember getting moved. I didn't, I didn't remember why. Didn't it feel like his reelection was a fate of complete? I mean, it just felt like it was happening. That's, that's, that's, that's the, that's the last time we opened a season on a Wednesday. Yeah, I remember, and you know what, you know Peter better than I do. I'm not going to call him a liar. Okay. But when you told him, you remember, and he's like, yeah, but he never gave me an answer. I think that, I think it was a fake. Yeah. I don't think he knew either. Yeah, that's why I said it. I'm like, you know, right? And then, yeah, and then say it. And usually when you know, you'd be like, yeah, there's those, the giant cowboy game got moved to Wednesday because Baroque was speaking. He didn't say that. He just, yeah. No. I don't know. But it sounds like we're both on the same thing.

I don't know why, you know, post kids, my memory is, yeah, he accepted the presidential nomination on the six, which was the day after the, the, the, the giants and the cowboys played on the fifth, which was a Wednesday. And I guess for the NFL, they knew that was coming and they were like, we're not going to have our game go up against that because that dude was a ratings machine. And that's why I didn't know. Yeah, but how long was the speech? Huh. But usually those are, not, those are late. I know, but those games are late. Look, I don't, I didn't make the decision. I'm just telling you that that's why the game was on a Wednesday. Interesting. And it involved the giants. And that's the last time we opened the season on a Wednesday. This reason is a little bit different. No, a little bit different because we put a team in Australia. Yeah, it's, but we have to have the Super Bowl champs because it's a tradition like no other. Wanted out to now 193776. Let's go to Mike and Orlando. You're on ESPN, New York. What's up, Mike? Hey, guys, how you doing?

Congrats on the, uh, summer cast. Oh, thanks. People both of you. Thank you, man. So I just quickly, quickly want to convince them that the giants can be applied off team with like nine, 10 wins. Do it. So you made it clear four wins. It's really hard to jump from four to 10, but how many games last year did the giant lose based off not having a kicker on the roster, not having a head coach that could close the game and how many games the neighbors and and, um, dark start together. So there's a lot of wins in there just from last year's team. So maybe we're only jumping from like the caliber of like a seven win team to a 10 win team. True. But you and I know you were going there. Is that's what everybody's doing. You're like, oh, we would have beat the lions. We would have beat the Broncos. We would have won that first game against the Cowboys. So there's seven wins right there. The only thing Mike is that that's not the way sports works all the time, right? You've got different teams, different circumstances.

And I'm hoping you're right. I really am. I did that dark grows and gets better, but it was, it couldn't have an all coaching, right? The dark center, sat against Denver kind of got things going because he's a kid and kids throw interceptions. That's what happens. The cowboy game. Unfortunately, that a quarterback that was making business decisions and he made one over time and it caused him the game. But you know how sports, the whole logic of well, the Rams beat the Cardinals and the Giants beat the Cardinals. So that means that they giant should be able to beat the Rath. Like it doesn't work that way. Sports doesn't work. It's never that easy. I hope you're right. But you got to be in those games and you've got to have the, you got to have the players be able to play up to par here. And I think the Giants are going to be noticed now. Nobody's going to be taking them lightly with John Harboh on the sidelines. So and in, in, in catching teams at the right time. And hey, listen, that lion game look like, hey, look at the Giants are playing with the

Lions. Lions didn't end up not making the playoffs, but at a time were like, the Lions might go to the Super Bowl and they almost beat them. But James Winston made some magic happen. You hope James Winston isn't playing in any important games this year. No, like, do you understand my like, it seems, it seems too simple. I'm going to give you that one. I'm going to give you, but he's right. I'm going to give you six of their toughest opponents and tell me if you can steal one of these six. Okay. Actually, I'll give you seven because one, one team is twice. Right. Can they steal a win against the Rams early season because they're coming back from Australia? So you, you make that that could be a steal. That could be a, that could be a, can they steal a win against the defending champs? Seattle. Well, they beat a good Seattle team a couple of years ago in Seattle. I think this game's in Seattle. Yeah, it is. I think they can. Yeah.

The Houston Texans. Yes. Okay. One of the games against Philly, can you split with the Eagles? You know, like, they never do an important spot. Week 18. Right. I mean, yes. It's week 18 and maybe the Eagles already clinched the whole field and happened last year. Yeah. Okay. No, I can't keep saying yes to all of them. I'm going to say no. Okay. Nineers. Yes. Lions. Yeah. Okay. Now, I'm going to give you six, the worst of the opponents they're going to pull. Okay. Who are they? Who could they lose to? Cardinals. No chance. No. Not losing it. Better not. Browns. No chance. No, not losing it out. Titans. Zero chance. They lose to them. I don't know what the Titans are, but I'll agree with you. Come on. First of all, you know, ears will be pinned back to go up against tables, offense. Probably. Saints. They lost to them last year. Yeah. I mean, that was, that was pathetic. I get it, but that's one of those they shouldn't have lost games.

I know. But, okay. Commanders. Can you get, I mean, at least a split. Yeah. And the Colts. With Daniel Jones coming back off of a kill. You could totally lose that game. You could lose that game. I mean, the Colts are one of those teams that if they won five games, it would be surprise that one team games that wouldn't be surprised. They could definitely lose to the Colts. Okay. For sure. Okay. That's what, I mean, I gave you their hardest and their easiest games. But let me ask you this. You probably could look up. I'm sure Anthony can do it. Spreads on all these games, which is folly because you don't know who it is. It's folly when it comes to playing the other thing. I don't think any of the games that you just mentioned, is there a chance that they're a more than a touchdown favorite in any of the games that you mentioned? Carter's supposed to be slam dunked. That's probably the only one. And that's probably, it could be in a part of the season. If the giants start to like cook that Vegas will want to get some New York money in it. No, that cardinal game is what? That's the, that's the fourth game of the season, right? It's like, since it's Saint's Arizona right after the first two.

It is early. They've got to be two and two. At least. I see that there's seven point favorite against the Arizona cardinals. That's it. So I don't know how to do. How do I do? And it was, and it's exactly seven. So technically, no, that's not the whole season in front of me, but from what I could see, that's the whole season. And that is a week that you're the easiest one. And it's all the way. And the two of the worst teams in football to me are going to be the Cardinals and the dolphins. Like, you can't lose that. And the Jets got to feel good. They've got two wins under their belt, right? Right going in. No one is going to be the dolphins. We have already said, like that, if you as a Giants fan, I want to feel optimism, then you've got to be, even if you're O and two out of the gate, two and two going into the, into that commander's game, go into Washington, two and two, you're feeling better. You're going to, you should be two teams that aren't ready. And that's kind of to me where the season begins. Because the schedule kind of gives you opportunities. Again, at Washington is not easy, but it's there home against the Saints.

That should be a win. And you could be four and two is not. No, it's not over. Three and three is very real. Absolutely positively have to be at least two and two going into. And then it gets tough. Now if you steal the cowboy game of the Ram game and you're three and one, then you might have me. You know what? Maybe this team can win 10 games and make playoffs now. Dave Rothenberg is shirtless on the morning. Right. And, and now you got the commander game. If you beat the, here's the thing. If you're three and one and the cowboy game is the one you want. Oh, and then you beat the commanders in week five. That's football or now you're Dave. Now you're two and oh in the division, which they never are. They'd be four and one. Now you start to dream. Now you believe it. Okay. I believe. Well, if you're one, two and oh, your, your, your, your, your, your, your, your, your, your Texans next to me. That's what I mean. But you're on the road though and used not an easy place to play. No, not an easy place to play. But again, if you're five and one at that point, marching into Houston, you know, you

might even be a favorite depending on what's happened with that. Look at, I got you already saying five and one, but, but the reason though those first to get telling you, I got PTSD Cowboys national television or just national television period. They, they've always been bad on national television. Any time they played the Cowboys on national television, it's been a disaster. So I'm just looking, I'm assuming they're going to go all into and then I'm assuming they're going to be two and two. And I think that that commander's game is going to be humongous. When the game you're three and two, you're riding a three game winning streak, you're feeling it. Lose to the commanders, you're own two in the division. You're back under 500 and then it could be a slippery slope. I think week five, you got to be two and two and that is going to be a humongous game. Right. So that's where you're, you're in that sit tight and talk to me in October and late October. Then also Alan, what does Owen to look like?

Is it Owen to soft serve 40 to nothing at home against the Cowboys? Absolutely smoke or is he lose 27, 24 to the Cowboys? You lose 17, 10 to the Rams. You feel good. It's just all right. Those teams are better. What are you going to do? I can live with that, but not looking like you belong on the field with them. Then I think Owen to is even with John Harbaugh trying to keep it together. You're not feeling like this is anything. Right. That's exactly how it's supposed to be. Is do you look competitive? Do you look like a team that belongs out there that put up a fight? You know, you're going to lose some games. You're going to lose some battles, especially in a season when you're still trying to figure stuff out, deal with injuries and all that stuff. But if the game's there and it's on the line and you have a chance to win, that's just what you want to be right now. And you want to see is my quarterback that guy? Can he be the dude? And that's a Jackson Darts got to start proving that this year. Like that's the difference in this division right now.

Is every team has a quarterback that has at one point in his career proved he can be the dude. Right. Even even young Daniels. He's done it. Darts got to do it when it matters. Not like, you know, again, some of these nice performances later in the season when there was nothing really on the line. And Darts looked good. But this is now time for Jackson Dart to give you something that makes you say, we got a guy. We got a guy. And I think Harboss looking to see it too. I think he believes it. I think he thinks it's in him. But time for it to come out. Now it's it's going to be very, very interesting. 1-800-919-3776-Gym in landcaster. You're on ESPN New York. What's up, Jim? Hey guys, how are you? Good. Hey, first time caller. And you guys are the best. I just put on this week. I'm in Lancaster, New York from Buffalo and you guys are the best. I'll give you Jim. They get a mystery up there. I gotta ask you something. I'm a skew of that.

Aaron Rogers, what would you guys put him when he retires in the top 10? Yes, without question. It might be easy to say that. He might talent wise. Yeah, come on. Yeah, I know it. I know he's only got the one ring. But don't go at recency either like, oh, the because that's we always skew our opinion on a great player based off of the last couple of years we've watched. And he's clearly not what he once was. We can't forget like he had everybody in the league saying this guy's a bad man. Like the whole league used to talk about him in legendary status. I was tied Peter and I used to talk about the fact he's one of the best quarterbacks I've ever seen. Yeah, where you want to rank him among the Montana's and the yellow waves and the United States of the world. But to me, Jimmy's a top 10 court. Yeah. Now what do you know? I mean, I agree with you guys. Now at this stage of his career, listen, he got it in the playoffs last year. It was embarrassing against Houston, but that's one of the best defenses in football. Mike McCarthy's there now.

I, I, I, I, I'd like the Steelers. I do. Baltimore, I think if I had to pick somebody to win that division, I know, I mean, no Peters kind of high on Cincinnati. Yeah, I think the bangles because they haven't gone to the playoffs for straight years, but they got some pieces. I could see Pittsburgh being, you know, one of those wild card teams making the playoffs. I like Mike McCarthy. I do. I know he's only won the one Super Bowl and that was with Rogers. Well, he, but he did some things in Dallas. He gets right. He will get you. He gets organized. He gets you right. Right. And then playoffs come and he's more of an offensive guy than Tomlin was. So I think Rogers will enjoy that. And they're going to be, you know what they're going to be? They're going to be what they always are around eight to 10 wins. Yeah. And I think in the AFC, that'll be enough to be the third wild card. Maybe they steal a game in the wild card and play. But I do think Rogers is back because that was, a tough look against Houston in the postseason last year. And just they were overwhelmed. Yeah. But I think he's got a, he's got a real shot.

I think to get that team into the playoffs, wouldn't that be like the best way to walk away? That's just when a playoff game or at least look good and a loss something. Dave's in Queens. Let's squeeze him in before the, the list. What's up, Dave? Yeah, listen, uh, this thing with the jets that you think they're easily going to beat the mountains or whatever. I mean, I don't understand where you're coming from. It's just to get the two that can win it all. And you know, in any situation, yeah, but I think everybody, everybody has, Miami's not going to be good. All right. And the jet, the jets have, no, listen, I'm not, the jets, those are two games that they should win. You're right. I mean, they lost to them last year. And, and they've got a pretty decent quarterback. But at the same time, it, it feels like they're preparing for the future. And Miami's this not going to be a very good team. That if the jets are going to be competitive, they should win both of those games. I agree with basically what you're saying. But you're talking about Mr. Jekyll and Hyde, Daniel Smith. Are we going to get high that day?

Are we going to get Jekyll? We don't know. And you, and there's nobody that's going to argue with that point with me about Mr. Jekyll and Hyde. That's never done. But Dave, Dave, I don't know. If, uh, Dave, haven't you heard what I've been saying about the jets, like how I, I, it's a lot of mistrust that I have, especially starting at the court of position. I didn't, I didn't come in and the beginning of you come. Yeah. No, no, I, I'm happy. Channel surf. And I'm like, what? Yeah. I have to call. Here's the thing. Here's where I'm coming from, Dave, and thank you for the phone call. And thank you for, for watching. It sounds like, yeah. If you're trying to build, are the jets going to be competitive? If the jets are going to be competitive, they have to go to and go against Miami. Of course. You're selling me. They're losing to Miami. Then Glenn's dead man walk in. They're going to be a four win team again season over. But if they're going to be competitive and playing meaningful games in December, they've got to be two and oh against Miami. How do you get to a seven or eight win season? You're beating Miami twice. You get, and you get four wins in your division. And how do you get four wins split with your good teams and beat the hell out of the

bad team and bad team is Miami. Yeah. I don't see them doing that with Buffalo and the England. You know, they didn't split with Buffalo and the England. Well, one went to the Super Bowl. Those might go to a super saying it's our cast. I just, I didn't, I didn't catch the sarcasm. Yeah. So you're probably staring at two and four in your division. So those two wins the better. Come against Miami for sure. And you better be Cleveland and you better be Tennessee to start the season. You know what else you better do? You know what else you better do? What's that? If you've got a project at your house, you better check out rings in. I had a project in my house. Rings and was a big part of it. This is the list with Don Han and Rosenberg brought to you by the Almore group. That's right. Now time for the list brought to you by the Allure Group. I should mention we'll get to it as soon as the list is over. Jazz on the I L. We've got sound from Aaron Boone, jammed his thumb last night left in the ninth inning. He is on the I L for the Yankees. So that's 10 days and there's, that's more than half of what's left of the season. So probably arrow is batting ninth and will play second tonight. All right. The list. And I talked to Nancy about this. This is all in the eye of the beholder.

There's no right or wrong answers. But I'd be interested to see what Alan thinks about the top five dates. You just can't not remember in a relationship. Can't forget. Just can't forget them. Can't come on. Oh, oh, oh, oh, really it's, uh, it's this day. Yeah. I totally forgot. On the reason for this, it's my 21st anniversary today. Happy anniversary, Nancy. So obviously that's good to be on the list, but where on the list would your anniversary? But I mean, should be number one. Should be number one. Okay. I don't have it. All right. You don't have a number one, which means her birthday is number one. Birthday is number one. And I asked Nancy. That's the one that you got to remember. Now, how is Nancy about birthday? Stephanie. The she doesn't want to talk about a birthday. She doesn't want to, like don't watch. She doesn't want to fuss about her birthday. Nancy does not like a fuss about her birthday, but she likes the knowledge that it is her birthday. Well, I mean, you know, she'd fight, but how is she about anniversary? You guys going to dinner tonight? You guys on special dinner's or now that we're on till seven every day.

And I'll get home till after I have babysitters. It's Wednesday. All right. We were in Atlantic City on Saturday. I took her to, um, Hell's Kitchen. I didn't know this. Okay. Over and at at Caesars. Okay. You know, um, but the chef, why am I was on his name escaping me? The yells at everybody. The British. Gordon, Gordon, Gordon, Gordon, Gordon, Gordon Ramsey. We were talking about Gordon, Gordon, Gordon, Gordon, Gordon. Gordon, Ramsey's Hell's Kitchen. We went there because we had gone there a couple of years ago. Oh, we loved it. Yeah. And so we said, we went to the five o'clock show for Gabriel and Glacias. Oh my God. So, and that's the old people's. And he believed me. Fluffy acknowledged that during the, but he listened. He offered a five o'clock. We took it and that allowed us to have an eight o'clock dinner. Reservation. That was for our anniversary. That was your anniversary. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So we took care of that. But, um, but at least the number one you lock in the door tonight though. I, it depends on how much homework the kids have.

You don't even realize what goes on. All right. I should have kids and figure out what really happens. No, but you live a different erotic life. I mean, these, no, you do. I don't know. You, you seem to have a relationship where you're able to fight through those things. Well, we don't, we don't fight. We don't know. We know it doesn't, a glancing blow is enough of a block to stop me. Penetrating. This is all football. I got a linebacker. I'm trying to get to the quarterback. It's only a glancing block that stops me from second to quarterback. What do we call putting pressure on the quarterback? Jacob, what do they call that? It's called the sack. Oh, it's not a call the sack. That's a quarterback. It's a quarterback pressure. Right. Yeah, but the way you're trying to do is trying to get penetration. It's penetrating. Is he pushing? Is he pushing? He's brought a line right there. I got him pushing. Honestly, Anthony might be listening, but I'm hovering. I gotta tell you're hovering. That is the closest that I have ever gotten to getting dumped without getting dumped.

Like I really walked the line there. No, you stopped all over the line. No, no. I did not cross the line. There was nothing that was all double on Tonto, but the fact is it doesn't take much of a blood. You, you were, you're amazing. You're like LT. They don't even have running backs blocking you. Like they have, they got the running back to tight end and an attack. It's just a fantasy. And you still find a way to get in. That's for you. Uh, so her birthday is number one. Yes. And aversory would be two. It would be two. Okay. All right. So then after that, I would think the day you met, I've got the day you met. I had it three. Three. Yeah. Okay. The day you met feels like a significant day. Yeah. It is a huge thing. Right. Yeah. Now that's not a day that you get a gift or a card. Yeah. But that's, do you have anything like any type of, not I would say, memorabilia, but anything from that day? No, I don't have anything from that day, but we do remember the day. Well, that's cool. What are you doing? It's amazing. Hey, press credential. Oh, look at you. Well, you were later on in life.

I was, I was a teenager. Yeah. I've just put them saying it was, she, filled it out and handed it to me. Now, that is very important. Now, the significance is, is that you get home and if your wife or your girlfriend says, what's today? And you don't know what today is. And then you say, oh, it's, you know, September 9th. And by then, if you don't know that that's the day that you met, you're probably in the doghouse. So I, I have it in three. All right. So that's three. I got two more. All right. Um, when you proposed to it. No. No. I'm not really sure if I can. The other two are going to be, I have his holidays. Holidays. Yeah. How would you forget a holiday? You could. Maybe. You could. Mother's day. It's, that's hard. That's why I have it. Five because if you forget Mother's day, maybe you should file for divorce. They hit you over the head with Mother's day. They do. You ever notice Father's day is almost like, by the way, it's Father's day. But Mother's day starts it. It starts an A. Peter never said anything more, um, appropriate than, you know, Father's Mother

Jakes like that's kind of like father's mother of Jace. Yeah. That's exactly really it is. It is true. But you did. That's why I got it. But you can't forget. You're only important if she's not available. But the, but the other one would be, if it's Mother's day, what? You can forget it because it does fall on holiday. It's a holiday. It's a holiday. It's a holiday. It's a holiday. It's a holiday. It's a holiday. It's a holiday. It's a holiday. It's a holiday. You can fall on any day. That's why you could forget. It's significant to a relationship. A relationship. Yeah. Well, Valentine's day. Valentine's day. Now the reason I have that, you could forget Valentine's day if it's on like a Wednesday and you're just busy and you know, paying attention. But now in their hits February, it's kind of obvious. It's coming. I get it, but you could still like, oh, that's right. Today's Valentine's day. You don't think like the day you proposed her is like a memorable day that she'll forget. No, I mean, it's it, but I don't like you shouldn't forget. What is the date? The day that you propose you? Because again, it all becomes about the marriage and then you remember the day that you

got married and you got it. How many days am I supposed to remember? I got to remember the day we met, the day we proposed. Well, I got a couple of. And what if she said yes, then it would, she said yes, but like two days later, you got to celebrate that one, dude. Can I throw, can I throw a couple more? Yes. Alright, the other ones I had written down that now would be on will mention would be first kiss. You remember that? What do you forget that? You remember? I don't. For some, that's a big deal. I tried to keep this clean, but there's another one. Well, I mean, but we're not going to I was trying to keep you clean by saying first kiss. But you're asking a different question because that day I do remember. Which day, which day you remember? The one we're not talking about. And for some, it ends up being the same day. The kiss and the other. Exactly. Yeah, I'd first date, day you met first date, first case finger, and propose that's

that's those are the ones that you didn't accept because you wanted to go with holidays like Valentine's Day, which nobody knows, but how much in the dog house would you be? Oh, you'd be. Yeah, it's old. Now, that could be number one, but you're not going to forget that. Although this is again why I'm lucky. This is like it because Stephanie looks at cut flowers as waste of money. No, I can't. And if she's if I buy if I bought her this beautiful, huge bouquet of cut roses for Valentine's Day every year, she would tell me to stop. But what would you do? What do you do for Valentine's something small? She does. First of all, anniversary is right before Valentine's Day. Okay. So you can it's kind of like, you know, what I got Nancy for our anniversary. She her favorite colors, purple. So I got 21 because it's our 21st anniversary 21 purple rose. That's beautiful. That's nice. But Stephanie's claim is that, you know, I'll be throwing these out in a week. So I get it, but we get an edible arrangement. I don't know. I think it's thoughtful for the time. It's just it's just thoughtful. And it's the card and I would and I don't know if you do this. Oh, the card.

Don't give me start on cards. Now, when the kids are older, they're on their own. Okay. But at eight, I put their names on the card because they're not going to. Why don't they make their own card? Well, I'm just saying for the roses, it's a happy and avert, but I put Don Marco and Jalen. But they're not, but I want to I want them to contribute, right? Because what are they doing? They're not going to not they're not swinging by CVS again. The card. Of course they're not, but they're also not married to her. I put, you know, her children know, but Mother's Day, they'll write a card. And that's fine. Right. But your personal time with her, but, but it's also it's all part of the same family. Also, you put your name, but when they get older, they're, they aren't they going to get cards for me. Do you write her a special message? They're not going to celebrate your anniversary. They're going to celebrate the two of you. They're not going to celebrate. Yeah, they're going to get, they're going to get, they're going to get a card for us. She give you a card. Yes. So she put the kids names on the card. I have to. We'll see. I don't remember last year. I don't remember what you, but no, but you just include them. What's what's the harm?

Because it's just you and it is the one thing you get to share. It's the one thing that they made. They were not a dinner on Saturday. How about that? That's good. All right. So number number one's birthday, number two is anniversary, number three of the day you met, number four Valentine's Day, number five Mother's Day, basically because how do you forget those? How do you forget that? But I do think there are scenarios. Somebody's really busy Valentine's Day is during the week. It's like, oh, that's right. It's Valentine's. Super Bowl Sunday. Yeah. This year. I know. So that's going to be a problem for sure. Good luck with that. Yeah, you're going to have to do something. It's going to have something on Saturday. But you might have a wife or a significant other. Because look, there's women that are huge football fans. Or maybe they're married to a guy that doesn't care that are going to be like, no, no. We're going out on the day. And then you get to have to make a choice. What does she hate? Yeah, she hates football. Hate sports. And you're like, I mean, it is super Bowl Sunday. You got to make a choice. It's tough. Well, listen, if you're married, just just remember as much as you wanted to say, forget

it. I got the good luck. There's another 363 days in the year that you're going to have to live with her. You might just have to make the sacrifice. Raised had a great win against the Braves. They're going to have to slow down. That's the thing. The rays... Well they did. They only split with Texas but the Yankees lost two out of three to San Diego. That's sorry. They didn't get take advantage. That's tough. The Yankees have had to go out west. You have to go out west again. They got to back to Arizona. That's not going to be an easy trip. You got it. Look, you got like this series especially. You see that Rocky's bullpen. I mean, come on. Like this is you've got to make it. You've got to win. You can beat them. Yes. And listen, you still can gain a game or maybe two. I mean, it's not crazy to think that the Braves could beat the rays the next two. You take care of business against the Rockies. Get it down to two with 16 to play in four games left with them. But time is running out and no jazz now for the next 10 days. Boone gives the jazz update. Yeah, we just got an update that he does have a sprain right from that's going to require an IL stint. So no baseball activities for the next seven to 10 days and then two are at all. See, that's interesting. No baseball activity for the next seven to 10 days.

That's the IL and then they'll see. So when it comes off the IL, all right, is he gives all no guarantee sprain right then they'll be ready to play. Yeah, that's not nothing. So I mean, you want him. You want him sure handed in the field, don't you? For sure. So it sounds to me like all right. He's going to be out of the next 10 days and then they'll look at it. So it could be longer. It could be a couple of weeks. It's weird because it didn't look, you know, it never does, right? But what bothered me was even at the time, I'm like, why didn't need to go to second? Didn't need to try to stretch that. You can't play that way. I know, but it's hard. We talked about that with judge like don't dive at balls anymore. You're too important, but the instinct and a player is going to be a hustle and we kill players when they don't. And also we can't we can't we can't get on them for that. Now back to judge in the lineup tonight. He's going to be batting third playing right field same as last night. Aaron was it a lock that judge was going to play today?

No, I mean, we're kind of like getting through each day and then kind of laying out the next day. So, you know, obviously came out of things well last night. Again, I feel like physically he's in a really good place. So, you know, obviously excited to get him back in there tonight. Do you expect a similar duration tonight? Yeah, probably kind of keep following it, but you know, may push a little more, but just want to make sure he continues to be in a good place in this build up. That right there may push a little bit more. I think judge it's clear. Judge probably was like I really haven't done anything like last night was not happy being taken out after three at bats because he felt like I had no action in the field. Right. I didn't go I didn't do anything at the plate. So I'm not I thought I'm fatigue. I'm fine. Like let me just keep going here. And I guess Boone will probably watch tonight. And if that happens again where you know, he really hasn't had much activity, they'll leave them in.

You know what I mean? Yeah, but if he's if he's got like, you know, three or four that, you know, put out in the outfield, he's got to run a couple down and he's, you know, let's say he gets on base and he's had to run a little bit. Then maybe they all right, let's let's back it off. And also we didn't talk about it like why they took him out early was listen, if they, if they said, all right, it's two one Aaron, we're going to keep you in. Let's apply another bat. Yeah, we're back. You know, then he's out of line up tonight. Like maybe the reason he's in the line up tonight was because no action, no action today. Yesterday. Now there's a set. Well, the first thing he says, well, no, like it wasn't planned that he was going to play. He really depended because he got no action. He's in the line up tonight. And I'm sure he got action. He's not in the line up. He probably said something to him. He might judge must have spoken up, which is what you want. But it was interesting. Think about this. You guys, you guys used to use that phrase right? The fallacy of the pre determined outcome. If they leave them in, do they win the game? Because it's Ross pinched it for him in a three run home run. It was the game. I mean, think about that.

If if Ramos doesn't come in and hit that home run, it was five, right, it was five one at the time. But if it stays to one, but if it stays to one, because let's just say judge has another just rough at bat, you know, he'll give up two runs. Yeah. Listen, I think they would have scored netting anyway because they had second and third in the line. Yeah. So, but I'm saying it's the, but it's the pre determined outcome. But yeah, we don't know. Maybe judge it. The sacrifice fly makes it three one. Well, then again, the fallacy, the pre determined outcome, the rockies tie the game and maybe they're still playing. Yeah. It's, yeah, I worked out. I think that's what ticked judge off the mostly. You take me out of two one game and a pinch hit for, but that's the embarrassment. Think about that's the embarrassment. I got pinched hit for the guy that does it. It's the home run. It's the difference in the game. Boone on reaction to judge being disappointed. Yeah, he told me that during the game too. And the day before or so, I know that. And that's what the, I don't, I love it.

I like the fact that he wants to be in there because he's, because he's feeling good. You know, he's, he's, he's, everything and it's great. Yep. Like if you listen to that cut, he says, yeah, he told me and he told me the day before, because even though they were on the same page, they told him you're coming out early and judge is probably like, I don't like that. But all right, fine. I'll listen to you because I respect you, but I probably want to do it. By the way, this is interesting. From Greg Joyce, there's no decision yet or who replaces jazz. However, did say he would be comfortable playing at second base. And it'll be, well, it makes sense. You expand the rosters now. It's after September 1st. He's played second and Scranton. So he's hit the ball really. He's hit for 10 home runs. He want this to work. But Anthony's telling us that it's a, Cabrera is the one that they took out of the line up tonight. He's not in line up tonight. But Volpy is?

No. He and Schumacher in line up a triple A.S. Oh, listen, he's playing second. Makes sense. Kids bad is hot right now though. They want this to work with them. Think so? Oh, they wanted to work with Volpy. But we'll see. Boone will judge it tomorrow. I don't know. We'll talk about that. I would say it's a fluid situation this first several days of playing, just trying to kind of get a feel for how he's looking, how he's feeling, how he's recovering, how he's responding. So, I feel like I've been more vague on the Committal other than to say, like last night, I'm probably playing short. But I feel like it could have all through the weekend too. Right. I tell you, Judge went in there and he said, I'm not doing this. Like we got to win games. If he has another night, let's say there are up 10 nothing and he has another over three. And you know what? Then he'll play tomorrow. Couple of doubles and ask to run and track down a ball in the track in the gap. Then you know what he will say. That's why I know I'm getting all this.

So Aaron. I never problem with him be like this whole notion that Judge was mad and he's pissed on. No, he wants to play. He was mad at the fact. He's mad at the situation. Yes, not the team. He doesn't want to be heard. He doesn't want to go through this. He knows what the narrative is about him and the postseason. He knows what the narrative was about him early in his career. He couldn't stay healthy. Now, finally, Boone. So Judge's playing time isn't predetermined. It's not like he's playing seven on Saturday and he's playing this on Sunday. And no, I think it's all kind of in play. But we're going to be smart and try to be disciplined to like, he's feeling great. But we want to make sure we get that next level of volume of playing now in a smart, safe way so that he can be at his very best. No, I think you got to be pretty psyched to the way the Yankees are handling this and the situation that they're in right now with 18 left to play.
