Kyla Murray to the Jets is just a really bad idea. He, from everything that I've heard about this guy, is not on the quarterback that you want. You won three games last year. The team is a disaster. You just lost 10 coaching. You got a new offensive coordinator, you got a new defensive coordinator, you got a coach who's probably on the hot seat. One person who coached Murray in Arizona told me, quote, it would be a disaster.

1:04You're trying to change the culture inside that building. You need somebody that is a leader at the court of education. Otherwise, it's not going to get any better. We do want to get into some baseball, the world baseball classic is getting underway and the start of the baseball season is three weeks away and we will get there, but we want to kind of put a bow on where we are at the Jets quarterback talk. So Raymond, he did some research and he found the cut. So what explain this right, you were like motivated by what the caller said and you started to dig and see if you could find it. I thought what the caller said was interesting that he said he had heard this on a podcast. It ended up being the pivot with Ryan Clark, actually, a nice little sit down one or one there. He was just talking about, you know, the lions back then because he was the DC, their best performance of the season. And he specifically talked about that card no game.

2:04Now is it like the caller said, is it, is it not a great look for Kyla Murray here? I didn't think it was a great look for Kyla Murray. All right. So let's take a listen. Here's as Ray just mentioned, Ryan Clark talking to Aaron Glenn a couple of years ago about the Cardinals in Kyla Murray. I remember the Arizona games probably our best game of the year, but it's meant we went after him, right? I mean, I call COVID zero more than I ever called my life because listen, Kyle, I'm going to go at you, bro. Yeah. All right. I'm just telling you. Well, we know he not studying anyway. So. Well, a whole hour was a week. No doubt. That's a whole lot of stuff. Yes. I could. Well, I mean, what are you doing that spot, though? No, but he could have easily defused that. Yeah, but I can't tell who's laughing. Who's not laughing? He just said that that's a whole different. I mean, Aaron Glenn is. Aaron is the one who said that's a whole that's a whole different that's a whole different conversation. Or what? Yeah, but he's also laughing like he could have defused that. That's not fair. He's, you know, he's got a bad rap. He could have easily defused that.

3:04Yeah, I guess he could have, but I mean, yet he's, he's trying to tell his, he's trying to speak on his superpower and then they decide to throw in a joke and he kind of gets wrapped up in the joke. I mean, either way, I don't think the columnar is going to be a good fit here period. You need, like again, you need, but you need a pro to come in here. You need to stabilize the position. You need someone that's going to be able to run the offense the way the Frank Rackworth wants to run the offense. They can get the best out of Garrett Wilson and get the best out of Breast Hall, depending on what happens here with Breast Hall. I mean, you need a functional offense to go along with whatever they're going to put on defense because you know, they're going to spend money and draft picks on defense. Now that Aaron's the one that's, that's absolutely. You've heard big names too for making if it's Patrick, I mean, they, they are going to go out there and they're going to spend real money and also, by the way, today's the day that we find out what they're going to do with Breast Hall, franchise tag, transition tag. I guess they have until what four o'clock today to make their ultimate decision is the deadline. Yeah. So we'll have that information as well. I got, I have to think they're going to use some tag on him, right?

4:07They have to. Yeah. And then they'll have, you know, they have the time to figure out if they want to get a, or try to get a long term deal done or I guess allow someone else to come in, you know, and sign them if you use the transition tag on him. But I would think you'd want to collect guys like Breast Hall, not, not, you know, move on from guys like Breast Hall. Yeah. But you also got to figure out, I mean, that does he want to be here like there's a lot of that goes into what's he looking for money wise, but I mean, you didn't trade him. There were teams that made offers at the deadline and he is your, I mean, he's one of your best offensive players. Uh, I think he and Garrett Wilson are your two best offensive players. Yes. Right. So, I mean, and now you're bringing in Frank Reich and hoping, you know, hoping that now, you know, you have someone that's qualified to get the best out of these guys as opposed to Tanner Anx here and last year. Let's go to West and East Hanover, West, you're on ESPN, New York, good morning. Good morning, fellas. How we doing this morning? You know what? West, I got to ask you this. Have you heard this? And I don't agree. And I think I believe I actually defended you people, people seem to not like you very much.

5:11Have you heard this? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I heard that Friday. I appreciated the defense of me. Uh, look, man, I've lived here 15 years. This is, this is where I live. This is where I got into sports talk radio. I didn't get into sports talk radio when I lived in Atlanta, uh, but I got into it when I lived here. And I love you guys. I love the show. Uh, like I remember back to you and Ruko way back in the day in the middle of the day and Lupica leading into that and like all those things is when I really started getting into sports talk. So this is what I live is what I talk about. So I try not to be a, um, annoying about the braves, but you know, I hope you feel like I defended you the best I could. Like I think you're, I think you're great caller and I'm a big fan every time I see on the line. Uh, well, I greatly appreciate that. Um, um, like Robin, I will not be there at, uh, Rickleball madness, but I will be there for the meth cell gate. You know this. So, but anyhow, so what I was calling about was, you know, when, when the Giants drafted Dane Resonant at six, no one would have been in arms if they had drafted him at 16.

6:13And I feel like, I think there was, and again, I'm not a jazz fan, I'm not a Giants fan. The sentiment is not there for Simpson at 16. If they drafted in there, it's almost like drafting Dane Resonant at six. And so I'm wondering, considering those two quarterbacks, who do you think? Have the higher ceiling, uh, between those guys, Daniel Jones, Thai sense, and, and are they similar type cases? Cause that's one of the things that's been going with my head. So I appreciate you guys. I love you. We'll talk to you later. All right. I know this is going to be a really bad cop at answer. I don't, I don't know. I don't, I don't. I think it depends. I think that, I think that both of those quarterbacks fall into the, into the bucket of where they get drafted and what the situation is. I, I think that's fair. Daniel, listen, Daniel Jones gave you really good moments. Right. Daniel Jones got you to the playoffs. I mean, Daniel Jones had a, a, a great playoff game right against Minnesota. Right. And that's the thing that people forget. Not only did he get you to the playoffs, he played his best game in the playoffs. I did play his best game, maybe set, maybe set the franchise back a couple of years

7:16by, by doing that. But I mean, obviously that's not his concern. He was, I think it was a game against the Vikings. I think it was a combination of things though. I think being, you know, having drafted him with a six overall pick and taking some criticism for doing it and then having him, you know, get you to the playoffs, play, you know, play great in the playoff game and a win. It's like, well, of course you can't move on from him now. Right. I mean, it did. There's a lot invested in this guy. Right. You live through, like, you live through the criticism for this moment. You've had this moment. Now what are you going to do? Now you walk away from it? No. No, you really, you really couldn't. I think that you went to a corner where you had to sign them to a new deal you did and they didn't work. Right. But I think quarterbacks like that. What are under the bridge now? Right. But I think that in the right spot with the right talent around him with the right coach. And you saw last year before, I mean, Daniel Jones was in the MVP conversation last year. Right. Good spot. Good coach. Got the best out of him. He was rolling. Team was rolling. Right.

8:16A lot of that was Jonathan Taylor too. Like you need the right support system around him. I mean, it was working. Right. Jonathan Taylor and the rookie tied in and a couple of good receivers they have and Jones was playing very well. Right. It's just it's it's different in New York. It is. Okay. For a quarterback being drafted in like with a with the high first round pick in New York is a tough spot to be in. And there's not a lot of patience. And there's a real sense of urgency to see the kid play. And then you make snap judgments. I mean, I got you know, our boss can know seven snaps. He knows. And it's and right now the jets are not in a good spot just get coaching wise. It's they can tell wise they won three games, which is the bat. I mean, which is ends up being the bad part of the draft anyway is the best players. I'm going to the worst teams and you hope that you know, that kids just good enough to get through all the adversity that comes along with that. If you brought in two quarterbacks and one of the two was Anthony Richardson, could

9:19you live with that? Could I live with that? What am I giving up to get Anthony Richardson? Very little. Very little. Yeah. I mean, I could. I could. He's a young kid with tons of, I mean, tons of talent. I'm hoping I would be right. Right. I would be hoping that he learned. He learned a lot from his stay in Indianapolis and all the all the stuff that he went through. And he's more mature now and understands what it means to lead a team. Yeah, I wouldn't be opposed to taking a couple shots. Just knowing I have three first round picks in 2027. Right. So you take a shot if somehow you can, you know, get get the best out of Anthony Richardson great. And if you can't, then you've really mortgaged almost nothing. And it may give the fan base a little bit of excitement while still being bad. Right. Put them in. You could say the same thing about like Jalen Milro and Seattle. Sure. Or something like that. I would, I wouldn't be opposed to doing something like that. More than Kyla Murray. You'd prefer that over Kyla Murray. Yes. Okay. Or the other option where is you get someone that you know can play and you know as be always

10:21capable of being a really good backup. Let them play. If it doesn't work out, you drafted something, they're going to draft the quarterback. I think at some point. They have. Yeah. And then that kid can play. Find out one way or another if you think the kid is good. And then again, you'll have 2027 to figure it out. Why did you like roll your eyes and shake your head when I when I talk to West like that by the way? Well, because it's like, I mean, I definitely was like an outcry of people saying that they don't like West. It was one. It was one caller. Well, I got some emails on it too. It said those are the emails that you're not going to share with everybody. I don't want. I don't want to read emails that are going after specific callers. Well, I give you read emails about them. I mean, yeah, you had gross almost quick because you read so many nasty emails. He actually is employed at the station. You can't press a multiple people have have opinions about a guy and then not cite those multiple opinions while I'm telling you now. I like West. I think West is a great guy. I don't find. I defend it West. Right. But I don't think I think we both defended West. I don't think that West ever calls and makes himself out to be like this, like this dirty

11:21Atlanta Braves fan. In fact, I don't like the Braves and I dislike for the most part Braves fans and I don't have any dislike for West. Well, because of most of his calls, like he's engaging us about our teams as opposed to talk about his own teams. Right. The question he just asked was about the Jets and the Giants. Right. I have no issue with him, but I mentioned that to him and I saw your face and I was like, oh, no. Well, because you're looking for the, because I know what you're doing is you're looking for the gift card. That's what you're doing. Well, no, I'm not looking for the gift card. You want that thing bumped up. You think that every nice thing you say about West is going to add some money to your Chick-fil-A card. That's what you're doing. I know you. I mean, you burnt up a little face head. Really? Yeah. My face head? Your head? Yes. In that face through your brain. Your RJ, he's in my face head. I like it. I like it. Spoken Anna Ginny yesterday. And? She's got a boyfriend. She's got a boyfriend. Yeah. Is that really true? Yes, she's got a boyfriend. I mean, come on. Really? Yes. Really? Yes. So. Oh, yeah. How did she tell you this? She's like, Rick, I want to tell you this. I don't know. It was birthday. So it was Milo's birthday. So she's saying happy birthday. I love Milo's birthday. It was the other day. It was, but it's, come on. She's 96 years old. Okay. So she, I mean, she called, she's saying, she sings like a funny happy birthday song. The kids loved it. And then she felt the need to let us know that she now has, she's got a man in her life. So is it someone that also lives in the facility or is it a worker there? See, that's what I thought initially.

13:23Like she's just saying that she has a boyfriend. Like she likes one of the people that worked there and calls him her boyfriend. Uh-huh. No. Actually, a boyfriend. Actually, a boyfriend. Oh, you're going to have to go meet the guy. Check him out. I rough him up. If I'm going to, if I'm going to do her, I better go fast because he's also, he's 96. 96? Yes. They met at Bingo. I love it. Oh, yeah. So he won. He's screaming Bingo across the facility. She took notice and she's like, yep, yep, match me. She said Bingo. Oh, yeah. Love connection. They met at Bingo. So serious? Is this? Uh-huh. Does he walk her home? Does he? I don't know. Take her to doctor's appointments. Like where are we at? Yeah, I don't think they're doing doctor's appointment. But I think they're spending some time at Bingo and I think there is a, there's a nice little. Is a real love connection? There's a real connection form in here. She knows all about his family and his kids and everything. Oh, yeah. 96, huh? Kind of morbid conversation that they had, but yeah, I had, I had this many sons that they're

14:25all dead. No, his children are dying. Well, I mean, this is what happens when you get into a relationship at 96. No, typically at 96 people have not lost children. I can't. What are we going to tell you? That's awful. That's terrible. That's terrible. That's awful. Now she, they've been listening. Now he's in love. Love? I don't know if it's love or not yet. It's, I just heard about the boyfriend. Now they're in love? Well, I would think at that age, it's going to have to move on pretty good. It's going to have to move along. Why do you have to love? You don't have to love? It's better than, it's better than to love and loss than never loved at all. I don't know. Is, is it more of a physical romance? There's a whole emotional ties. Stop. I didn't get into the, I didn't get into the physical nature of the relationship. So you don't, you don't know how far this is progressed? No, I don't know. I didn't ask her questions about what they're doing. I'm surprised. I'm surprised. No, knowing you the way, I know you. I'm surprised you didn't. There's a line for me too. I don't, I'm not going to start asking Nana Ginny what she's doing with her new boyfriend.

15:25What would you, what would you think? You think it's a commence to that point or no? I think there's probably like some kissing, I bet. Mm-hmm. Can you do that? I had no tongue, I don't think. Well, I don't think there, I don't think Nana Ginny is in the shape to like do much cuddling. You know what I mean? It's probably like just like maybe a hand holding. Hand holding. Like a kiss good night. That's nice. Unless Nana Ginny. Are they neighbors or are they on the, like other side of the facility? I didn't, that's a good, that's probably a question for the next conversation. To really, I was more shocked than anything that she decided down at this age to get a boyfriend, but good for her. Poor, poor nana, Ginny. Yeah, I don't. I can't imagine that. And unless she's been playing us all this entire time, that she can be that active. Trust me. When it comes to that, people find a way. You got to find out his intent. Look, there's an intent to take it up to prom or anything like that. I don't think they have an older people prom, but okay. You know what? Idea to self. Maybe they should. So what you want me to do is you want me to take on something that you want me to do is you want me to take on the alley louder character in Landman. And now it really pump up the nursing home. Yeah. Like full on dance. Yeah. Yeah. Why? Why? Why now? Are they going to be great? Well, can I figure out how excited Nanagini would be? Hey, what do you? Nanagini would you have coming up this weekend? Prom. We're going to get together. We're going to, you know, get all decked out. We're going to go to prom. He's going to pick me up. We're going to wheel over to like the East Wing. And we're going to have a prom. Soft foods. Easy. Easily digestible. Prom. And then who knows what's going to happen?

21:32And then all bets are off. Oh. I love it. RJ, this is your fault. RJ felt like this is, you know, this is a good idea. Not only that. When that gentleman called Ray and Montville, who had that information, RJ goes, you got to go, you got to go to him. It's going to be real good. It's great. I thought that was information that needed to be out there. Yeah. I bet you did. I bet you did. That's some 93 year old guy. They felt dead laying on top of his 90 year old guy. I mean, a part about the, the part about the guy dying. Okay. I didn't know that part was going to, was going to come. I thought we've discussed the other part stuff before. I thought we've been over that already. I didn't know that. That's how that story ended. But at the same point, he had real insight into the situation. No, that's great. Yeah. This is a, this was almost like the ending to race. Do you have story? Well, you were gone. Oh, no, no, no. No, no, no. That story will go down as one of the most shocking moments in the history of the show. At least the old man was alive at the start.

22:32Yeah, but the animal wasn't. Wow. I still can't, like you're, you're an intelligent guy. I still can't believe you thought that was a story to run with. I didn't have many options at the time. I thought, or seemingly any. The other one was AI. He wanted to have a truthful story. Yeah. If you want to start using fake stories on here, then I would just think that you could, you could look up crazy stories around the world. What do you think the 90 year old woman says to her friends about that? Like is she like? Is it a badge of honor for her? Right. She said, but she's all like ladies. I killed him. I actually killed him. I sexed him to death. Yeah. But isn't that how you'd want to go? In theory, yes. But I also don't know if I want to be found like that. Like the being found like that is the problem. Does it really matter though? Well, you're dead. No. Yeah, but let's go save. If you're not already dead.

23:32I think it depends on who walks in. I think it depends on who, like, who finds you? I think it's actually worse for the person that lives through it. Well, yeah, I mean, especially like at 90, like how big is this guy? She's probably just stuck there. Right. Well, she's got to throw him off and then she can get up and get a better day. It doesn't sound like she was able to though. And then maybe hopefully she remembers when she walks out to good help. You know, she gets it. She gets she goes out. It doesn't stop the dead man lying in her bed. No, but it doesn't sound like that. It sounds like that's how, like, that's how they found it. It sounds like she bit, but she'll trapped. Yeah, that they just walked in and she was, she was trapped. Or she's like, I think, Bill, I think, I think Bobby's sleeping. RJ, do we go world baseball classic? Or do we go billion truck? I think billion, then we kind of put them all on this. I can't believe that was a real question. This is great. Billy's Nana is getting around. Billy and the truck. Good morning, William. Yo, Dave. 24:32Of course you go. It's my, it's my girlfriend's grandmother. I went to visit her for the first time in the home. And she wore me. She was beforehand. She's friendly with a lot of people. She's got a lot of boyfriends. And I'm like, oh, that's nice. That's real. That's cute. It's like, no, she really thinks she's got, you know, so everyone I'm walking up and down the hall. And she's like, oh, hold on. This right here. This is, this is, this is Billy. This is my boyfriend. This is the fiance. She's calling me the fiance. But there's one guy. There's one guy she introduces me to. And he's, he's quiet. He's not really talking or anything. Was he able to speak? He's, yeah, he's able, he's able to speak. She's very, just very uncomfortable looking. And I see, she tells me after the fact she, she goes, she goes, yeah, they're not on, they're not on good terms. She overstays, overstays her welcome in the room. In his room sometimes.

25:32Tries to welcome, welcome back. Tries to cuddle in the bed with him and all these things. And I'm like, what is going on in this home? What is happening with these old people? But you know what? Everyone needs, everyone needs love. Everyone needs a, a tension every once in a while, right? Billy, I love it. A little companionship lifting. Who doesn't like the cuddle? Everyone likes the cuddle. It's very uplifting. Alright, so, so World Baseball Classic. Just wait a year out. Like you're, have a hand. I'll fully in. You're fully ensconced. I love it. Yep. You, you will watch a ton of the WBC. I will, yeah, I'm gonna watch all of it. I love this stuff. I mean, what else are you watching right now? I mean, you have a lot of options. You got the nicks. You got college basketball. Right. But we got hockey. Okay. Yeah. We're still a little bit light. Oh, yeah. I think that that's fair. But I don't know if it's baseball. I think there's, I think there's plenty of people that are baseball fans that are not intrigued with the world. Well, here's the problem. And here's the disconnect.

26:32Is again, the reason why people were so into four nations. Because of course, you're going to be into the Olympics. Well, also didn't drag on for such a long time. Right. But four nations is because of how important you saw it was to the, to the team. Whatever team you're rooting for. It's just like for USA. I mean, they just, you saw how much it meant to them. So you like, well, if it means that much to them, like, I'm in. I'm into it. The problem with baseball is is like, I think judges into it. Like there are guys that are into it and they're going to take it serious. And then it's like, you got the best picture in baseball. Who's going to make one start? That's it. That's right. Right. So it's like. And who's the start against? The start against the team. Great Britain. They should, they should who? Great Britain. They should beat them if you started that game. So it's like, OK, well, what exactly are we, are we serious about this? Are we not serious about this? What are we doing? Well, obviously they're not overly serious. Because if they're overly serious and they were allowed one star, you would save it for like the semi finals, right? Assuming you probably be able to get there. Yes.

27:32I mean, I'm assuming that, I mean, when you look at that team that they'll be right there, that I would want him to pitch in a more important game. Yes. And this is also like, this is, I think the nice thing about the four nations is it's quick. You're not committing a ton of time. This thing is, I mean, it's going to go on for a couple of weeks. Yeah. And then there's also the injury possibility and everything else that is really concerning because again, we lived it here in New York with Ed Wendias. Which is terrifying. But I think when you see, when you see these players represent their country and, and how much pride they take into it, I think it's hard not to, not to, you know, pay attention to it. I'll pay attention to it. I will be honest with you. It mattered for me a lot more of the four nations and, and the Olympics than, than this will matter. Yeah. For me, I think that's, I think that's, I think that's probably the, the feeling from a lot of people. But maybe it's, you would say to me. And I think, I think all you guys as well,

28:32US beats Canada in hockey in the Olympic finals or Team USA, you know, has a, has a wonderful win to, to win the WBC. I would say 98% of the people would say, give me, give me the hockey gold medal. Yeah, probably, but I think it's the more, the more serious that the players take this. And I think the, depending on what happens, like you had last time you had, I mean, the moment with Otoni and, in trout, like that's a, that's a cool moment. It was an awesome moment. Right. The more those moments that you have, I think the more people will start paying attention to it. And then maybe it will grow into something that you really, like you're excited about. But you, you made the best point already. If, if school bull is making one start in the second game of the preliminary round against Gray Britain, and then that's it, then how seriously are they taking it? And that's the, that's kind of the disconnect. For me, at least. I mean, you're, you're watching these guys. I mean, you're watching the U.S. Canada game, and there's dead,

29:32fights. Right? Like, I mean, immediately. Three fights. That's like, oh, wow, holy moly. Right. Like, there was clearly, it was, hatred was ramped up immediately. And with this, it's like, yeah, school bull, he'll be there, but he'll be there in his terms, and he won't be there when it truly really matters. Right. And then he's leaving. Right. So how seriously is the fan base supposed to take it? When the best picture, probably in the world doesn't take it overly seriously. Yeah. I don't know if it's, if it's a him decision, or if it's a tiger's saying, you know, we're not comfortable with this, but he's not going to be there past, you know, the game against Great Britain. Right. But you're doing it or you're not doing it. Right? Like I'm in them. I'm reading articles the other day about, I mean, the Minnesota while right now in the thick of things for the, you know, a chance to compete for the Stanley Cup, and you know, Quinn Hughes is running around. And Bill Garen, the GM of the team, who was also the GM of the Olympic team, was asked about it. And he's like, yeah, of course, Quinn Hughes is one of the best defensemen in the world. And of course, we need him. But I also recognize that this could be the biggest moment in his life. So I need him to take advantage of that also.

30:32Well, he has to play a couple of games tired. Yeah. Is that great for us? No. But it's also recognizing the moment and how important that moment was. I get it. I think if you're like a, a fanatic of the team that he plays on, you don't want to hear that as an excuse. I understand that. But that's, I mean, again, this is, this is the price that you pay. I mean, look at the, look at the NBA all-star game this year. Right? Like I mean, the guys actually tried and was, it was somewhat competitive. And people watched. People, at the end of the day, people want to see the best athletes in the world, compete against the other best athletes in the world. And they want to see them care. Exactly right. And the more you care, and it could be manufactured care. Like, like, four nations is just, it's a, it's a made-up exhibition. Right. But, but it's a made-up exhibition, which was really exciting. Right. And there was a level of pride that you took in watching that team play. Right. And how badly that team wanted to win. Right. But could you imagine if the Kochak brothers were like, yeah, well, we'll play the preliminary round. And then when it gets to the, the metal round, we're going to, we're going to, we're going to leave, or we're going to be done. You know, and that would be ridiculous.

31:33No, but you also saw guys that were devastated and didn't make the team. Right. Right. I mean, you had all the best guys that wanted to play in it, and some of them got left off the roster and they were, they were choked about it. Hockey has the right recipe. Whether that's player-led, or league-led, or international competent, whatever it is, hockey has it, that other sports just, they just don't. No, and I think that's a testament to the players. And I also think it's, it's recognition from the league that, hey, I mean, we're not, we're not where some of these sports are at, and we need to try to get there. Rich eyes in here. And you go as many times as one. That's like a buffet. People, when they think free food, they take full advantage of it. Oh, yeah. So it feels like you're missing out. If you don't really, like if you don't have to. Yeah, but then you become, and that's the problem with this crunch. You become gluttonous now. And it's like, oh, you know what? I'll have a soda. And then I get thirsty. And I'll have another soda. It's I'm going to have 11 sodas. Right. My concern would be like that you start now wasting it because you know that it's unlimited. Like I can only get three items. I'll go with this, this, and this. And then you're like, mmm. Okay. I don't love this. Let me throw it away. And let me go back and get another three. Right. Now I'm going to get some nachos. Right. Yeah.

36:37I think people will take full advantage. It's a nice deal though. It's a great deal. It's starting. But it's starting at $29. Starting at $29. So what does it go up to and how much are you spending? Listen, don't feel badly for the organizations. They'll figure out a way to make money. Well, they wouldn't be offering it if they don't make it money. Yes. Exactly. All right. So let's get two couple calls on the World Baseball Classic. And then I do want to hear from Aaron Judge. And then we'll get into the whole CMT of everything. Calvin and Washington Heights. Calvin, good morning, buddy. You're on ESPN, New York. Good morning. I am going to say this. Canada, USA hockey was awesome. But the baseball classic matchup that is the highlight is the Dominican Republic versus USA. Canada is the Dominican Republic in baseball. They have the best position lineup. They have the best position players with the USA having the best pitching. Blind time players in the center stage. That game, it will have a game seven. In Miami, soaked out. Guaranteed will be sold out too. Because the game next Wednesday, I'm already going to. It's already sold out in Miami.

37:38And that's, and that's when it's when they are. It's his best farm time baseball. Both lineups will be 2.0 million dollars. And these players are excited. This is, this is what farm time, this means a lot to these players. And when you're saying that USA is not in it as much, you would say got enough pitching. They got a tennis school. Well, yeah, they should save them for Japan or the Dominican Republic. But they still got post games. They still have Logan Webb. They still have more than enough pitching. Yeah. You know, some of the other couldn't be good. You know, the skiing is the best fine. Who's the second best pitcher? Right. But Calvin, I don't think that was, that wasn't the point though. The point was, was kind of more towards why, why American baseball fans. Not, you know, like, listen, baseball and the Dominican Puerto Rico, like, those people are going to be dialed in. Like, this is a big deal. It's important. It's important for players. I get all of that. I think the school bull point was more like, if, if you want the American baseball fan to buy in, you got the best players in the sport that are American need to be fully invested in the, in the, in the tournament. Yeah, but you, I, I understand his logic why he's doing one start.

38:41Him and 30 Pro Router are the both, both pitches. This is a perfect example. So on post games, I mean, on third school was the best American pitcher. He's going to be a free agent. He's a Scott Boer's client. He's going to ask for 500 million at the end of this year. So he's going to do one start. Why? Because he wants to cash in. I understand if it was, if he already had his contract locked in, he'll probably give you three or four starts. So his reasoning is, let me also prepare because I'm going to be a free agent. Calvin, if you're free agent, and you've got $500 million waiting on the other side of this season, why, why give any starts to, to Team USA? Because I would like to say the part where 30 Pro Router as well with, um, um, um, uh, service school before you hang up is he's trying to also, he has an agent that is also telling him at the end of the day. Look, I want you to make sure that we get this contract. Take care of your arm. I just think one. I don't want you. That's, that's he also has this agent behind him. Same thing with 30 Pro Router. A perfect example. 30 Pro Router is the best or technically him and Christopher Sanchez are the best pitcher for the Dominican team. 30 Pro Router chose not to pitch for the Dominican team because he's going to be a free agent.

39:42Him and service school will are the best pitchers in the free agent market in this upcoming season. And this upcoming all season. So it's a perfect example. Sometimes you give and take away. But both teams have your best players playing in the lineups. I'm in judges in. Um, Bobby with it in. And all that one souls in. Who do you want to be? Is it in Goverbal? Come on. Not all of the money. I mean, not, not, not. But he's not playing. Right. I'm sure it's issues too. I mean, it's, it's that surgery. I mean, there's a bunch of things that go into going to go into this thing. I understand what you're saying, though. But they, everyone has their own reasons for what they do. Right. It's, I mean, it's contract. It could be, it could be your agent or whatever it is. All my point was is, is that did you hear any of that coming out of the NHL? Not for a second. Not for a second. Well, do you worry about a guy getting hurt as much as you do a pitcher getting hurt? No. I'm not. Pitching is just such an abnormal thing to do period. Oh, yeah, correct. And there's only so many bullets that you have.

40:43And he wants to save his bullets for, for the regular season. How many? He's looking at pay. He's looking at pay. He thinks the Pittsburgh Pirates realistically have. I mean, this kid's shortstop sounds like he could be a draw. But realistically, how many draws did the Pittsburgh Pirates have? Right now with skins. A couple. I mean, skins. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. A couple. I mean, skins is the top limit. I mean, skins is one of the ways. So God forbid something were to happen with him. Yeah. I understand that. God forbid is right. And I mean, this school will is about to hit free agency. And he's going to get a boatload of money. But again, like if you told any of the guys that just played on the four nations team or just one Olympic gold medal, Hey, you know, you're about to get, you know, a fully maxed out contract. Or you can go play on the Olympic. They want to play. They're going to play. They want to play. Right. Like I mean, Jack Hughes, when he got his teeth knocked out, his first thought wasn't, oh, no. I got to make sure my teeth were okay and getting like, he, no, he didn't even leave the bench.

41:46Right. I'm going to play. Um, let's go to his teeth. It was on that power play. Right. And he got the four minute power play. But it's different. It's very different. And I get there are certain matchups which are going to be thrilling, right? Like, like, you know, DR and Puerto Rico. I think those, I think the Dominican fan and the Puerto Rican, they are fully invested. They're dialed into this thing. But I don't, I mean, of course they want to win. But I think winning that specific game, they've always, they've always been. But it's like, if, okay, here's a halfway decent example. If the world championships, which happen every year. So the team, so NHL world championships teams that don't make the playoffs will have guys that decide whether or not they want to go over there. Last year, the US wins the world championships because a lot of those guys felt like, hey, I got to make sure if I'm not in the playoffs, I'm on this team because it could, it could decide whether or not I'm on the Olympic team. So it became a priority for them. If they're showing any year, you, like, they're showing world championship hockey on television. And it's the US plan. Diet hockey fans, the Donald Grekkers of the world, me, maybe you will pay attention.

42:51They're showing a Canadian team playing the world championship. Canada's locked into the world championship. Like, it's, it's important to Canada. Right? Like, it's, it's hockey's their sport. It's a big deal for them. And the US, the world championships are hockey on a big deal. No. It's not. It's just the reality. It's not, it's not important at all. We're watching NHL playoffs. No, it's paying attention to the world championships. But it Canada, it's a big deal. Like, so for the sport. Right. So for the baseball classic, it's like, for the countries that he was just talking about. Yeah, it's a huge deal. And they want to measure them. They want to prove to everybody that baseball is their sport. It's not a, it's not, it's not an American sport. It's their sport. The best players are from the Dominican. The best players are from Puerto Rico. So there's a pride thing involved with it. Best players are from Japan. I don't, I don't, I don't get the, the sense that the US fan feels that way. It, because they don't. Because they don't. That's the point. I mean, if I said, if I said to you, Mets win the division or Team USA wins the, the gold medal on this thing. What would you take? Ah, Mets win the division. Okay. Is it even a thought? No. Okay. RJ, would you take Yankees go to the World Series?

43:52Because I mean, Yankees win the division. Could very well happen anywhere. Yankees go to the World Series or Team USA wins the gold medal. What would you take? Yankees go to the World Series. Aaron Judges great for the Yankees or Aaron Judges great for Team USA. What would you take? I mean, come on. It's okay. Well, there's not the, I don't know what it is. I don't know how to describe it. But there's not this sense of, um, I don't like pride is the right word because I, I mean, I think there is pride. No, no, but it's, it's not, like, you're not thirsty to, like, to show off in this for whatever reason. Like, it's kind of like not the same as you are in hockey. Right. Well, because hockey's not, it's not our sport. We're not known as the best hockey country. Like, that's Canada and Canada loves to rub it on our face every time they get an opportunity to do that. So it's our chance to show, like, to show them that we're, we're better. Like, I don't get, like, just because we're so good at basketball too, it doesn't feel like there's that in basketball either. This is also what 20 years old. I do think the time factors in.

44:52So you're getting in 30 years or now it might have more legs? It could. I mean, I think it, I think it's like now, but I think I'm more though. Yeah, I think among everyone, like the common sports fan, they may have more of an emotion when you bring this tournament up. I think probably the more you lose to, like, the more it starts to meet the players. It's like, there's more like, hey, no, no, they get enough, enough of this. And also, we couldn't just take like the best six teams or eight teams. I mean, do you see who's in this thing? It's the world. I, okay, but you couldn't have some kind of, like, like a last year qualifying. I think that's exactly what that is. I got to have great Britain. I got to have Chechia. I got to have Australia. Come on. Netherlands. Brazil. Really? Italy? Well, easy. What? Hey, easy now. You expect the Italian team to make some real noise in this thing? True story. This is a true story. So when I started playing baseball again with Brian on his team,

45:52first game, it was like, I might have, I think it was the fault. Was it the fault? It was cold. Like real cold. It was like an 830 start under the lights. I'm warming up for the game. I look over. Guys on the side throwing. This is a start the game. And he's got a, he's got a team Israel world baseball classic hat on. And I was like, Brian, this guy like a big, big fan goes, oh, no, no. He played for team Israel. He pitch for team Israel. Yeah. I was like, and this guy's starting. He's like, oh, yeah. I was like, this. Are you kidding me? He was on the other team. Yes. He pitched against us. And how to go? Not great. Not great. Balls. There was a kid on, on Ben's team this summer. That's playing for team Israel and the world baseball classic. Wow, man. I was like, this is a first game. This is what we're facing right now. He's like, oh, yeah. He ran like a six three 40 this kid. Fly around the bases. Yeah, this is, it was different level, man. I don't know. I just think if you had like the best eight teams and it was a week long tournament,

46:53it might be better. But what do I know? Well, I'm excited about it. I'm, I have some excitement about it. I miss baseball. I mean, there's some meaning to these games. It's not, it's not just a spring training game, which is nice. And we'll see how, like, we'll see how locked in the players are. I think you kind of get your cue off of, I think you kind of get your cue cue from the players. U.S. plays, what do they play soon? Right? What do they play on on this Friday? Yeah, Friday against, against Brazil, which should be a real show. I mean, Brazilian baseball. Very competitive. I'm looking at a Brazil's roster right now. Yeah. Tell me, do you know one guy on Brazil's roster? Ha, do I know one guy on Brazil's roster? One guy on Brazil's roster. Looking through it right now. One guy. Um. Ronaldinho. I don't think it's Ronaldinho. No. Maradona. You're just mocking them. I think, what are you doing? What do you mean? What are you doing? Give me one. Give me one guy.
