DR Congo river boat under quarantine as Ebola deaths top 4,000

All passengers aboard the quarantined Congo River boat have tested negative for Ebola, bringing a wave of relief to authorities racing to protect the capital city of Kinshasa. While the total recorded cases in this rapid epidemic have officially surpassed 4,000, the current death toll stands at approximately 1,900 people, rather than the 4,000 deaths initially feared.
