3:09So lots of different concepts here. So let's first start with the property rights. So the common law rule which we got from England when we left, became America was a you and I own everything from the core of the earth all the way up to the space, right? And why? Because we didn't have things that flew in the air at the time. And so as our technology changed and our ability to utilize airplanes changed, we said, well, that's not an infinite right. And so you own a certain amount of reasonable air space above your house. Oh, it's not infinite, right? So you can that's why you can chop down trees, but you can't shoot at airplanes. These drones are regulated by the FAA. And so the and that's unfortunately the reason why Mr. Cress is now spending the next 15 months in prison and federal prison is because he shot one of these drones. So here's the rules as far as when law enforcement can use these drones.

4:10So first and foremost, if the drone is just at your fence line and just going straight up on the other side of your fence line, generally speaking, you're not needing a warrant, right? Because that stuff that is readily available. So there's nothing to slow down, not just law enforcement. I mean, let's say just even regular citizens or regular citizens or or slash law enforcement, they walk up to your property line. They lift a drone into the air. And again, they're following your property line, but they've just gone higher than your fence. And then they can observe in. Yeah, it's like using a little a frame ladder. You know, you whip out a frame ladder and you have put it out over by your fence and take a peek over and see what's going on in Ryan's backyard. So kind of pull apart. You didn't get invited to. Looks like, you know, it's the same concept, right? Because you haven't crossed over that threshold. And then if you go high enough, right, it's the same idea that we have helicopters, airplanes,

5:12things like that. If you go high enough, they could fly over and they don't need any any warrant or anything else like that. Drones? What about drones? Hi, welcome back to the show. I remember you just walked in, but you're jumping in on the conversation. I was literally talking about drones. She's on topic though. She is on topic. I'll give her that. And I was taking care of our guests. Okay. Right. Okay. So wait a minute. Because you said something new in her. Yeah. So like, I'm new to my backyard all the time. I jump in her pool. I see it. I know. I just do it. It's fine. I like it. But a neighbor can look over my fence. That's not illegal. No. No. Okay. But here's another problem that I got, right? Not me necessarily, but I've heard about this. Like on one side of my house, my cool neighbor, Chris, he has a camera that looks like it's high enough and it looks into my yard. But that's also where I keep my truck. I actually like that. He's got a camera there. I'm fine with that. But what if somebody, and I've heard this being a problem, you know, they set up a camera, it's high enough.

6:13It looks into your backyard into your pool and they can just like, survey that old. Yeah. I mean, unfortunately, it happens all the time. They have privacy fadences. You can get hedges. There's lots of solutions for a property rights standpoint. But generally speaking, they can point their camera whatever direction they want. And if you have something that's easily visible from your neighbor's house backyard roof, that's kind of up to you. Really? Yeah. So, you know, when I'd suggest you don't need a very big bush to cover up all the things you need to cover up. You're a big bush. You just need a little bush to carry around with you so that we know that nobody can see anything that would show you in a compromised position. Does it work the other way? I mean, like, you know, if I'm in the bush in front of their face, yes. No, I mean, like if I'm jet clamp it, right? I'm shooting at some food. Okay. So the up comes a bubble and crude. Do I own us? Do I own all the land below me to the core of the earth? Or is it, is there like much like the sky? There's a reasonable place where it would stop because the founding fathers didn't know about drill.

7:13Yeah. So, um, conceptually speaking, your mineral rights are something that can be deeded, right? You can acquire those. It can be a part of your property rights. You have to look at your deed for that. Um, but generally speaking, you know, again, it's a reasonable standard. So you get to a certain level. You know, so you can drill down into your aquifer, get access to water, things like that. Um, but we have all kinds of property rights rules about what happens if you are taking so much water at the aquifer that now your neighbors aren't able to get water and things like that. So it's not quite as black and white when you're talking about access to resources underground, um, because technically you could interfere with your neighbor's property and that causes issues. You really like have at least in Florida no limits on cameras that like, now I'm not talking flat cameras anything. I'm talking like a standard surveillance camera. Like could somebody stick like a 40 times zoom lens on one of those things and constantly monitor, do I have any rights is just like as a homeowner to go like, because the idea

8:13or the, or I guess where it's kind of getting, uh, what I don't know with it with a lost in translation part is there are a lot of people that are texting in right now and they were under the impression, hey, listen, I, you know, this is my property. I, this is my privacy. And now you're telling me that someone, you know, could have a stationary camera and they're able to look into my over my fence at what Eddie given time. Yeah. So as long as it's like it's, it's not, their fence is not intruding on my property. It's aimed in my direction. They could have it there for whatever the reason and they happen to catch me or catch whatever's going on in my backyard. So the idea of privacy, I think people are starting to come to the realization is an illusion then. It's legally, even legally speaking, it's not an illusion, but it is a gray area. And here's what I'd say, the definition of of where your zone of privacy is to where you enter your cartilage, which is the area media side of your home, um, to where you enter like the public space. It is, it is a, it goes from like a black to a white and there's a lot of gray in between.

9:16Um, there's a lot of case law on the fourth amendment, um, specifically on that issue of, of where you cross that threshold. So I'll use this as an example, you're inside your house, the law enforcement uses some type of, um, uh, thermal camera, right, see what was going on inside your house. So like, does that, does that, you know, a violation of your privacy is that is an infringement? Um, and the answer is no, right? Cause they don't actually cross through the threshold. Um, and so, you know, there's a lot of this gray area that exists. And then, you know, the aspect of whether or not you have to get a warrant, it's not that hard to get a warrant. You know, believe it or not, you just need to have probable cause, which is, you know, just, just a little bit above, um, you know, a, a reasonable suspicion that a crime is happening to events that judge to give you an order so that way you can go inspect further. Um, and then again, there's a lot of rules and, and laws and case law about whether or

10:17not it's reasonably related to the, the warrant. Um, there's a lot of gray area and these issues of privacy. And so I tell people all the time, you don't have as much privacy as you think you have. Um, yeah, that's one of those things where like the technology and the cheapness of cameras, far surpass the laws that we have. I'm like, all those laws seem to be designed for like a giant port, like put on your shoulder camera. You're right. And now you have them like the security cameras and then the size of this, this mouse, you know what I mean? And smaller. Yeah. The new glasses that they have with the cameras and I'm, um, yeah, I, and I have them. I, I, I bought a pair of meta glasses for my, my trip in Germany and it was so nice to go around. I was like, Hey, meta, take a photo. I do this. Take a photo, record a video. It's nice. But then I realized the downside and the downside seems to be much worse than a flash in everybody. Yeah. It's just mostly me nude watching reactions. No, it's as flash people and not you nude.

11:17Yeah. It does, it does seem to be like if something is a camera, then it needs to be well known that it's a camera. It should light up. It should make, it should make noises as well for, so we are a little bit behind the ball on that one. But there you go. You can answer all these legal questions and more whether you're looking to do will estate, trust planning, divorce law, friendly, right, friendly and TK law, one firm for life, they handle it all. And then there you were possible a couple other haunted houses. For those of you who don't remember we were broadcasting out at Halloween Horror Nights on Friday and then Angelique and you both went on Friday night to experience that.

13:24So you did Ozzy's house. What are the other two houses then? It was. I did the nightmare fuel first. The nightmare fuel show. The stunt show. Oh, yeah. That's okay. So that was the first thing that you went to. Yes. Okay. That's an absolutely. You got to incorporate that into the part of what you do out there. So you did that. Yeah, definitely recommend going and seeing that stunt show incredible performers. And then we went. I saw the Ozzy Osborne house and I saw the. I saw two other houses. Zombie house, the clown house. No, it was. Was it close to the Ozzy house? Yeah, they were kind of near. No, it was not. It was near by the nightmare fuel one and it was like. Flowers and. Stoners. What had you do in the house overall? I mean, like, you're going through. You said you famously said like, But this is not your thing. Not your thing. You were scared to do. You've never been in one. You've gone to Halloween Hornets a bunch of times. You've never gone in a haunted house. What.

14:24Right. You're not even a terrible scary sounds. I've only ever been through the scare zones. And when they pop out, the chainsaws and they chased you and they get close to you. Like, yeah. Like, I scream and hold on for dear life. Like, I don't do well. Not only did love really bad one time it was the limp biscuits there at scare zone And it was Fred Darcy had a chain saw he skin your ass raw, but that's it That's that's where the houses I did it was like a fleshy Hell razor hell razor. I did hell razor. Well hell razor and sinners are right next to each other They're in the very very very backlight. Did you get to do both of those or is that or you only did hell razor? I don't remember that what the third house was called. I did hell razor. I did Aussie There was a third one I think But I'll tell you what you know how they make those really cool spooky craft cocktails Get a little bit of liquids courage in your boys. Yeah, and that's why they have them there They would scare me and then all of a sudden I'd be like good job and I would just like Congratulate them afterwards. That was a good scare Mr. Hell razor. Yeah, I was like good job

15:28Good job and it really got me Mr. Hell razor Having fun with it when I was in the hell razor one and I was like, oh, this is this is scary Are you familiar with the the lore of the of the of the whole series though? Have you ever watched any of the hell razor movies? I? Familiar I've seen bits and pieces. I can't remember it this surprised me Remember because you call yourself a spooky baddie you love spooky season. Yeah, oh yeah, I do but you don't go in I'm pretty sure you don't watch scary movies, right? I Don't like to I like so what makes you a spooky baddie? Is it that you like pumpkins and pumpkin spice? Is that what it is? So I like psychological thrillers and I will watch a scary movie, but I don't like anything Or I don't like I'm not into like worries. What's a psychological story for you? 16:30My birthday is two days after Halloween so my parents would always throw Halloween parties and we would always do costumes and Scary movie. What was your last do you recall the last your last psychological thriller that you enjoyed? I know because everything that you watch is brand new you don't watch anything old Yeah, you said that early twice Okay, I will throw on wait you just said that a couple hours ago that why would you waste time watching anything old that? Well, you know what I have to correct myself and and go back to that and retake that if super naturals on I'll leave like a super natural episode on that I've seen a thousand times I'm not a angel. Okay, go ahead you were saying right. I just corrected myself. I was wrong on that super natural could always be on a psychological thriller it was Which I have to be honest I don't know why I finished watching it. It was like turn it off Amber turn it off Don't why are you still watching this and I was like scared it was that Demi more movie? The one where she gets the plastic surgery which becomes another person she takes some kind of like

17:34It doesn't make her like yeah, it turns her into a younger version of herself and an older version It was very gory and I was like yeah the substance the substance I was not enjoying it Imagine that you would oh I can't believe I think that's a hardcore movie. Yeah, it was so hardcore And I was like is any of the least favorite scariest thing. It's it's aging and getting old and ugly That has nothing to do with it. No But imagine that's a fear is a woman who's a model right like that's a I imagine it would resonate with you Um, I think that time you not do not realize you're gonna get old Am I breaking news to you? Ryan not everything is about looks and There's a model it is yeah, but there's but there's plenty of models that a person of substance of middle age like there are like older women that still have jobs Cory Chase or gilps. Yeah, yeah, it's not that scary. Did you do any while you were there? Did you hit up any of the Simpson stuff? Did you go through that scare zone or did you walk through the scare zone of the Simpsons? Yep

18:35And I even did bump into Angelique and her daughter. We took a picture together because she did the collab video for real radio. She posted that Only reason I bring up the Simpson's though. I'm curious to have you guys seen this If the Simpsons were gonna partner up with a fast food chain Who do you think that would be I'd have to be crispy cream and be donuts, right? Solid answer. Yeah, no, no way on point Would you be shocked would you be taking it back that the Simpsons as a brand have partnered up with another strong American brand, but we need to learn that this genre of food is incredibly popular in the rest of the world and There and it's only available in this one country for right now Is it Filipinos spaghetti and a dolly? No, no, no, no, it's a substance and KFC Have partnered up China. No, this is the other part that it's crazy. This is only happening in Spain and Portugal

19:38Okay, I actually this just yeah, this is wrapped up this summer, but they had the pink sprinkle donut chicken sandwich. These are these are real things It's are we like are we angry at Spain is that why we're doing this? I'm trying to make them fat I'm trying to figure out. That's the Gen Z does and they don't find They don't have the same historical reverence as older generations for sure. 36:25Since they're not understanding like okay, they understand the breakdown of it right when you talk about it And they understand the horrificness of it right they don't understand I guess the significance of why we still like a general Are torn by or you know waste heavy on us or that it's a heavy day in American history because as that particular generation what they're saying is like okay We understand this but you know our whole lives we've had numerous mass mass cask Mass casualty events we've had numerous you know situations that to them parallel this and so sometimes the connection they're not making is why are we focused on this and there's all these other I think the differences is like they the kids the younger generation have made 9 11 memeable Yeah, which is a little bit different than making dark jokes There's always been dark jokes about tragedies and things like that

37:27But like 9 11 now for them is a meme I saw a comedy flyer for a comedy show for a comedy club that the dude tagged the comedy club in and that it was it was the twin towers And then it was his face superimposed on a plane and it's it was like New York I'm coming for you That's where their level of humor is that it's it's wow. It's not even dark humor It's memeable humor like 9 11's like a is a literal joke to them It's so interesting to see that but again, I can't fault them because they weren't there for it and like I was Man how was I was in my teens so like watching I was there watching it everything shut down the whole like TV stations went off air and if we had no idea what was happening that that feeling you can't explain that to a To a younger person that's something you have to go through with the whole nation for like I mean, it's much coming together is one in den you night America a huge way with our military with with everything and now

38:31The US if you ask me has never been more Divided and then it was back then united so imagine having that conversation with a millennial and telling them hey You wouldn't believe this but there was a time where our whole country where we were you know for however brief that time was Where the country was united that the country was you know had one whether rightfully roughly had one goal Where you know there was there was concern for your neighbor there were that there was you know genuine concern and and love there and You try to explain that to somebody They're gonna look at you like you're great. They're not gonna leave you Yeah, and that's again why I can't fault them like I'm always like I'm always gonna be on the side of humor for the most part Even though like I will call out bad humor. It's just It's because it's when it's so foreign to them You know, I mean like it was a foreign concept to me before it happened You know, I mean when living through that experience I hope I never have to do it again.
