About this episode
We can improve our empathy skills by listening with genuine curiosity, putting ourself in other people’s shoes by asking ourselves “what if it was me” as they share their stories, and responding with our heart rather than just our head. When we can allow for feelings in our responses rather than only focusing on logic - we account for more of the whole picture. People are emotional beings - do disregard that would be to miss out on one of the most interesting and beautiful parts of humanity.
