17-year-old Daniel LaPlante had a history of breaking into homes in his hometown of Townsend, Massachusetts. He was charged with breaking into and terrorizing the family an ex-girlfriend. Two months after being released from jail on bail, he committed a brutal triple homicide of a mother and her two children.

As it turned out, it was only about a 1/2 mile from the murder scene. But, which member of the LaPlante family committed the murders?
