I'm Cam Poitrus co-host of Jetset Noon alongside Jim Toath, where we broadcast live every single weekday live from downtown Winnipeg on 680 C.J.O.B. Radio.

1:03Yeah, we're re-talking everything to do with the Winnipeg Jets, who host the New York Rangers Thursday night at Canada Life Center. And we can't help but wonder something. Are the Jets actually very similar to the Rangers? Let's look at the comparables. Recent presidents, trophy winners, Czech, elite gold tender, Czech, start offenseman, Czech, strong forward court, Czech. Yet New York sits last in the Eastern Conference. Is that a warning sign for Winnipeg? Could the same thing happen here and how do the Jets avoid it? Also, with Logan Stanley chucking knuckles in his first game with the Buffalo Sabers, there isn't an obvious player left to take on an enforcer role for the Jets. Do they even need one anymore? And what does an enforcer look like in today's NHL? All that and more on today's edition of Jetset Noon. Might snarl a little bit about this, but you know the Rangers, they won the president's trophy a couple of years ago. You guys are fresh off of that. Are these two teams, maybe, examples of how humbling that national hockey league can be?

2:03Yeah, well that was a doubt. I think that we're also seeing as a lot of these young teams now that have been rebuilding, that are starting to come into their own. You know, we have a couple in the West, obviously Montreal and the East. There's a bunch of teams that, you know, we're at the bottom of the standings for quite a while that have really stepped up. And it's so it's made a lot more parody around the league. Every game is a lot more tougher. You know, the Rangers, they have their own sort of issues or reasons why they're where they are. And ours is that, you know, for us, we can talk about that where the season isn't over yet. Let's see what we are. Let's see what we are at the end of the game's 82 and then we'll discuss how the season finally will play itself out. So Kelly, more with the question there, Jets taking on the New York Rangers tonight at Canada Life Center, Puck Drop at seven pregame starts right after live at five with Richard Cluche. The New York Rangers, Scott Neil doesn't want to talk about it, but we're going to talk about it because I want to talk exactly about that. Are the Jets who the Rangers could become?

3:04We'll get into that in just a moment. We want to pick Jets line rushes at the morning skate gym. You're getting some heat. You're getting some heat on you about the line rushes. People not liking or some people at least on social media. Not like in the lineup today. I'll just listed out here for you and then I'll get some of your reaction. Connor Schifley, I follow. Profetti Laurivalardi, Nyquist, Taves, Rosanne, Kepke, Baron Lambert, on defense, Morrissey, Damello, Sandberg, Solomonson, Flurry, Bryson, and then Hellobokas are starting that matter. What are people saying, Jim? Well, on social media when I reposted, I'll always say retweet. It's Twitter. Just say Twitter and repost and tweeting out. No, no, no, no. Just use the old phrase. That's what everybody calls it anyway still. Elon, Elon, what's his name? Come on. What's your name? What's his famous person in the world? How do you pronounce your name? Alone. Alone.

4:04Are you alone, Musk? Alone. Musk oxen. Okay, now we're getting stupid. So I just retweeted Mitchell Clinton putting out the lineup for tonight's game and I got to run it back, baby. Ain't another one was ain't going to get it done with this lineup construction. And Mitch says, I guess it's unfixable. We don't even try. I mean... What do these people want? Well, so no one's hiding from the fact that they got decimated on Tuesday. It was embarrassing. Yeah, yeah. They didn't get 13 shots total. A team that's not very good defensively. Three goals in 144. Nobody liked the effort. Lay an egg like that with what's at the line. But prior to that, they had points in six straight games. We're not... Like they just... We're not talking about it. What do you want them to do with this lineup right now? Well, let's put Roseanne and Lambert in the top six. Let's demo Connor. Well, Connor Schifle and Valardi didn't register a shot on goal against Anna. They had their worst game of the year against Anna.

5:06They did. Yeah. So statistically, analytically... They've been the stars of the season and they had a bad one. The eye test all comes together to show that those players had their worst game of the year. But, Jim, are you just going to make wholesale change based on one really bad game? No. No, you're going to roll them back out there. I got to win a game. Like you got to win a game. So who are you going to rely on to win the game? I got to win a game against another non-playoff team. So I think I'm going to roll out my best lineup just because they got it handed to him one game. I'm not going to rework the... And that's just me. I'm not trying to make fun of everybody. What I am discussing is I was surprised at how many people were upset that the lineup hasn't changed. Yeah. I don't necessarily understand that. So maybe you don't... I don't know. 6868. What do you want the lineup to look like? You want to break up the top line? Yeah. I have follows back up there. Give us your thoughts. There might be a VIP car wash in it for you from a good friend of wash method. If you can... Wash with that. If you can give me a good reason. Change my mind as to why the Jets should make complete lineup changes based on Tuesday,

6:09which was a horrible game by the Jets. 13 shots on that. Bad game from their star players. Connor Hellbuck was the only one that showed up. Can't find any excuses as to why they played so poorly, but like... Explain it, please. Why you wouldn't... Why? And what do you want the lineup to look like? I would presume they want the new guys in the top six, or Brad Lambert in the top six. You've got to win a game. And I know that... We're also getting used to a new system. He's turned to the puck over quite a bit. Let's be honest. He's turned to the puck over quite a bit. So, Brad Lambert. Yeah, he's... Again. And I like Brad Lambert. I like the way Brad Lambert looks since he's been called up, but he had a bad turnover again. Yeah. I mean, chemistry all that, learning new line mates, new system, all that stuff, new jitters trying to maybe do too much, because you know this is your chance. But he's been turned to the puck over. He's not necessarily going to throw him up there in the top six immediately. And do not at me today, because it's not free for all Friday tomorrow. Yeah. I'll think about it. But do not tell me how many times the top line had turnovers on Tuesday, either, and all this stuff.

7:13They're the top line. They've been fantastic this year on a disastrous season. In my opinion, they're loud and off game. Yeah. I'm with you on that. Okay. So Kelly Moore asked a question. I think it's an obvious question, but it's a great question to ask Scott O'Neal. And he got his answer there from him about the New York Rangers. Are they comparable to the Winnipeg Jets? Right. President's trophy winners in 2324. Right. Jets lost one at last year. The Rangers won the year before. Elite gold tender. Egosha Sturkin. Great core forwards. At the time of them winning the president's trophy. Meek is a bit of jad. Chris Criter of instant trot check. All 70 plus point players that year are Timmy Penerin at 120 points that year in 49 goals. And a top defenseman in Adam Fox. Do you see the comparables? Now they missed the playoffs last year by six points, which is very real possibility for the Winnipeg Jets this year to miss it by six points.

8:14There are five points back right now at 19 games left. And I wanted to bring this up because there are no guarantees that this thing is going to fix itself next year. But I look at that core from the Rangers. The year not last season, but the prior. And I'm certainly betting on those guys again. Right. Not another certain intangibles. And Scott or Niels Wright. But there's different reasons as to why they are where they are right now. And speaking of the Rangers. And there's reasons why the Winnipeg Jets are where they are as well. But is this sort of a warning shot across the bow for this organization and the Jets that this could happen? Well, just hoping for this to fix itself. And it's an off year in this reason and that reason. Is there sort of some systemic issues here? And I guess I'll ask you the question too, Jim. Is how can the Jets avoid that? Well, how they avoid it is. So here's the team that's now J.T. Miller's heard. I get that. But here's their lineup. Zabinajad is centering Gabriel Perot and Alex LaFrenier is now a top line guy.

9:15Vincent Trocheck is between Adam and Ström and Will Cool. And then Noah Labba, Ty Karate, Connor Sherry. Okay. So it's just like even that top six is not a top six. Zabinajad's having a great season. This guy just keeps producing where they have a good lineup or not. But I will bet on Shifly Connor, Valardi, Morrissey, Lowry, Hellebuck, Demello, Sandberg, any day of the week. That is about as good as a depth core as you can get. There's no Nathan McKinnon, Nikita Kutraff, Conor McDavidly, Andrei Seidel in that. But there's the very close next here. And there's more of the next here than other teams have. So that's why this isn't out. Now they traded off Truba and they traded off Pinaran. And they traded like Pinaran. So I don't know what's going on in that organization. They've traded three straight captains.

10:18And I told you when the truba stuff is going on, I have no clue what they're doing. Like what are they thinking? What are they? What's the plan here? And they just traded off more assets. And so I don't see the jets like this. There are people. And this is what I do have time for the conversation. The core is great. Whether you want to admit it or not, whether you're a diehard jets fan that has rose colored glasses on or whether you're a diehard jets fan who can't stand this organization. This core is good. It's about as good as a deep of a core as you can get. And what they don't have in the elite talents of McKinnon and McDavid, they have in the depth talent. So like I would, I would take the mellow in Sanberg as secondary defenseman Neil Pionk any day of the week. They're not elite physical guys, but they're good demon. And then the core of this depth of what you see when need a riders healthy is having a terrible year this year. But they got to figure that out. So it is fixable. But when I keep saying this, I think people think, oh, you love the roster mode. But you forget the part of it needs fixing.

11:19It needs fixing. That's why I think they made the trade with Buffalo. They got to get they brought some speed in. That's why Brad Lambert's up and probably will be for this year. That's why Selamonson probably played his last game for the most safe for the playoffs this year. They've got some speed coming in. They've got to do some some some things this week. This this off season. But I look at this rangers thing and I think the jets are miles ahead of them. I mean, what are you waiting for J.T. Miller to come back? J.T. Miller's a dynamic player. He's an Olympian. I like J.T. Miller. You know how I feel about J.T. Miller, but he's not a he's not propelling this line up into the playoffs. With now that they've traded off Panarin and now that they've traded off Truba and now they've traded off Chris Criter. Like if you kept those pieces, then I think you could have something like the jets that are fixable. But you didn't. To me, what the rangers are is if you traded off Gabe Bellardi and if you traded off Dylan Samberg. And if you traded off and then tried to make a goal of it, I don't see that with the jets. I don't see that. I see that with the rangers. Chris Texas show and says I just want Nyquist gone.

12:19He's not the future. He's not the president literally anyone else. That one from Chris. Well, where do you want him to go? You want to pay him the rest of the three million? I have no doubt that the jets tried to trade. He had one goal. He had one goal. I just, I don't know what they're not going to send him to the moose and pay him three million dollars. Or the rest of the three and a half to play for the moose. They're not going to do that. It's a challenge because now you're here. So you have Brad Lambert in the lineup and you have Rosanne in the lineup. I don't necessarily think, I mean, these guys, I mean, Rosanne's just getting his feet wet in the national hockey league. So it was Brad Lambert. I get, I get what you're saying, Chris. I do and believe me, there's going to be a lot of people that are going to agree with you. But you want to, I know he's got one goal. I know he's been a massive disappointment this season. Yeah. There's no getting around it. Yes, Tim. He said, I was your disciple in your season. He would probably say massively disappointed. Yeah, it has not worked out at all. It has been. It has not worked out at all. But you don't, you need, you still need to match those guys with veterans.

13:19Don't, don't you think, Jim? Yes. Yeah. The last thing you want to do is call up all of them and, and play Rosanne with Lambert and, yeah, Barlow or like anybody who is ready would be here now. The ones who are ready, Brad Lambert and Brad Lambert still has some, yeah. But I really like his game since he came in. He's had his turnovers. He's had his issues. I don't, but this is the thing. I don't expect you to call up a guy from the moose and they be perfect. I don't, I expect him to come in to play well. He's shown me some things defensively and along the boards that he's improved on. So I'm happy for him. And, you know, Ross, Levitton was on it a couple of weeks ago and he's like, where's the points? Where's the points? I've been told they're not working on points. What do you think they're working on? What they need to get better at? So they're getting better at. And that's what I saw from Brad Lambert. He's an offensive player. I look at his offensive numbers in the moose. They're not there. And I'm like, okay, what's going on with this guy?

14:19Then he comes up and he plays eight minutes in the first game and he does well on the fourth line. He was physical. He got the puck out. He was, he was good defensively. We had the turnover against Anaheim, but everybody was terrible against Anaheim. But to me, that's the improvement I'm looking for. Brad Lambert comes in and scores a hat trick in tonight. I'm still looking to see how he is defensively because that's what I know he can score. That's the one-on-one battles us along the boards. Dom Text shows nice scene yesterday. Dom Rosanne should play on the top line with 55 and 81 for a few games. That's what people want. I'm not putting him up there. I'm not, Dom. He's had a lot of turns. He's got to get, he's got to get more integrated first before you're putting him in that position. He's funny where he is. You need to win games here. And this can have him cough in the puck up like he is at the rate that he has been so far. I'm sorry. Like if, I know that everybody's the, he's the exciting new player on this team. I understand that. There's a little bit of reality. And I just, just zero in on 27.

15:20He's, he's cough in the puck up and he's going to be, he's going to get better. He's going to figure it out. But this is, listen, he's overwhelmed. This is a lot for him to take in. I, I just hope everyone understands this way, Dom. And what, what have you seen from him in two games that says play him 20 minutes tonight on the top line? I know that's what fans want. I know that fans want to see him play with those guys to see what he can do and all that. But if you look at his game, which is fine, it looks okay. There's some things he's got to work on. Let him get into the system. Let him get his feet wet. I don't see anything that says you got to play that guy nine more minutes tonight. Uh, Michael says you guys are talking about not making changes after one bad game, but said nothing about the change after they rolled Tampa. I get they traded Pearson and brought in Rosanne. Uh, but bringing in Floreo. Where Hanoel is something else. What else can the guy do to play some hockey? The jets are desperate for wins. What have you seen from Hanoel? Honestly, what have I seen from Flurry? I thought Flurry was spectacular in the series against Dallas last year.

16:21That was really good in a playoff series. He's been injured this year. He could get another contract. He's got it to your deal. That's what I see. 17:21Ryan Reeves and Ryan O'Reilly are the four. The only ones left. When the league introduced the Pfizer mandate in June 2013, it grandfathered in anyone with at least 25 games of experience on his resume. And those two still. Same with helmets. I remember Craig McTavish was the lone guy skating around without a bucket on. Like I said, you learn from everybody, you know, bones is obviously great. I think for this whole team and I feel like that was really maybe the big step for me. Growing my game into another level, being kind of a top-haired offenseman and things like that. You know, it worked, Ernie working with the D-Core. And now he's obviously been the head coach. So, you know, each coach has definitely had an effect on me. Don't de Mello celebrating his 700th game today. So, congratulations to Smoke. It's not a boy's smoke. I'm not allowed to call him that. I don't know all enough.

18:21I don't know. He's a nice guy though. Talk to me a few times. Jim, you wanted to make sure that we got something on the show. This is a wonderful story. Yeah, this came across on social media and I thought we should mention it. So, Colin Drogen, who lost his mother, brother, and grandfather in the Lynch Arena shooting last month, scored a double overtime game winner to send his high school team to the championship game. There was that horrific shooting at a high school game a month ago. And he was the boy playing in the game that lost his mother, brother, and grandfather in that shooting. And he just went on to get the double overtime winner first team. I am amazed he's playing. And what he is. And sometimes in horrific events, I just get the feeling that somebody's taking care of somebody who needs it. And so, good for him and good luck to his team the rest of the way. Thanks for mentioning that, Jim. Definitely good news. Now, to pivot to stuff that doesn't matter as much.

19:22The one of the kids came tonight. Of course, that kind of stuff is much more important in life than everybody. I'm sure it agrees with me. 204-7060-6868. And in regards to how do you fix the jets lineup? Jim's getting some heat. You're just joining us. We're just retweeting the post from which we're cleaning the lineup. I got another one. Yeah, go ahead. Andy says put Baron on the second line, center and Lowry on the fourth line. Again, and I'm not trying to make fun of like Dom and everybody else had suggestions. But what has Lowry done wrong? Like, I have no problem with putting guys up the lineup. If they are playing better than the guys that they are demoting in the lineup. But who in the bottom six is playing better than, you know, Valarti, Perfetti right now. Perfetti's been really good lately. Yeah. Babes is doing all right. Let's squeeze in some text messages here. Darrell says, Darrell here. The jets lineup is what it is. The top line should be angry at their last outing and play a vengeance game tonight.

20:23Before going any further, I am fascinated by tonight's game. Because if that is the one and done, then you should not only come out against his Rangers lineup and beat them. But you should pound them a little bit. In fact, I'm looking for the entire team to play with vengeance. Darrell continues led by the top line in Captain Lowry. However, in the off season, there needs to be an overhaul about half from half of the second line down. Keith says, what about Rosen with Valarti and Perfetti? I just think we need to give Rhodes then a little bit more time to get familiar. Do you just like a throwman? It's not like they went out and acquired like a grizzled vet. A guy who's had 10 years in the league, you know, he's a 60 points, 70 point perennial player. It's a guy that's just getting his feet wet in the national hockey league and getting adjusted to a new team. I don't think it's fair to him to all of a sudden thrust him up into a top six role where it's either sink or swim.

21:23I just think you need to sort of ease him in a bit. And he's still on the third line. He's playing, you know, it's on the second power play. He's playing with Taves. He's playing with, you know, Nyquist. He's on the second power play. It's not like they buried him. Yeah. I just, I don't buy a, and I've, look, I'm not disparaging him at all. I like what he, what I've seen so far, but there's been some issues and I don't, and none of you screams that guy on the top line. Well, and, and it's stuff that you expect from somebody in his position. I ex, he's exactly what I said. You're, you're expecting him to make those mistakes, but he's got it just in just a little bit. So I just, I just think it just hold off a little bit longer. To your point, when they traded for Gabe Vellardi, Vellardi went right up there, right? Yeah. But Vellardi had played four or five years and he had been around and he is, he was ready for that. You didn't acquire a Gabe Vellardi here. No. So I don't understand, I don't, and, and also this is the, Rosenn has 33 games in the national hockey league. And this is the other caveat, right?

22:24Is that there is time here for that. There is time for once it's all said and done that you will see probably a handful of games, maybe even 10, where he is in the top six. Yeah. Let's see what he can do. Rosenn played 33, it's now had 33 games in national hockey league. And Vellardi went right into that role, he does season and a half over four years, where he was dealing with some injuries and stuff like that. But he been around the block. It's a different, it's, it's not the same scenario. It's not the same scenario. He just does it. Oh, it's, um, this texture says, Arneal keeps missing the boat. The best Jets lineup should be, Schifley Conner Perfetti, Vellardi Baron Rosenn, Lowry Eiffalo and Kepke and Taves Lambert and Nyquist. Okay. So if that's the best Jets lineup, okay. So what if that was the lineup that they played yesterday, or like, what if they go out today and they lay an egg very similar to, they do against the ducks, what do you do then?

23:25Well, then I think you have, that's why I'm fascinated by tonight's game. Look, on paper, it's not a nothing game because they need the two points. All the teams are chasing lost on Tuesday. They didn't lose any ground. They just didn't gain any. This is still the same scenario is going into Tuesday's game. Thankfully for them because the other teams. So I don't change that philosophy at all. But I am fascinated by this. If we all heard the comments, we all saw the game. We all heard it on 680 CDOB. What do you have tonight then? If you have a similar performance, I think you have some major issues here. Well, I think you have issues here. But if they play better, and I'm not talking Windsor losses, but like how they play the game, right? Yeah. Because to me, it was just a lack of execution and focus and everything else. So it's interesting. Chris has texted us and said, quote, what has Lowry done wrong? Not play as well as Baron. We all love Lowry. This isn't a punishment. So as well as Baron has played, you think he's a better player than Lowry right now.

24:26Put Lowry on the fourth line. Watch him fly. I get why people love Morgan Baron. I love him too. I love him too. He's a great player. But to put Lowry on the fourth line, I think you'll probably do what Baron's doing right now. I think Baron is having such a good years because he's being put in the right spots. Exactly. Yeah. And I think Baron is thriving because he's developed as a fourth line guy and a third line guy and he's still playing on a fourth line. I just think that's why he's had such a great year because he knows exactly what he's doing. He's familiar with the team. And he's playing against four liners. And he's being put in the exact right spots for him to be utilized and to be able to play the best his abilities. So he's dev... In my opinion, I don't know about the second line. I would eventually this year like to see him up there. Don't get me wrong, I would. Yeah. But to me, what I've seen from him and this is a huge kudos to him. He's developed enough that he's no longer a fourth line player. And so what happens when that happens? He is having the season he's having. He's playing against other fourth liners and he's developed past that,

25:27which is great. It's awesome. But has he developed into a second line center? I haven't seen that part of his game. Otherwise, he'd be scoring every single night. Let's pivot here. Do the Jets need an enforcer? Heath says. This is, hey, it's Heath from Traverse Bay. Yes, we need an enforcer. Look at the hit on Shifly the other night. No backup in sight. He's a... Like the rest of them. Oh, that's the word that Heath said. I won't repeat it. Lowry can't do it all, especially if he's hurt. Not much for diggers on this team. That one from Heath. And it wasn't a particularly vulgar word that Heath used. It wasn't the one you probably suspected that it was. But I'm just not going to say it. It's the thing it's insulting. And Greg says it was a mistake for the Jets to trade Stanley. We don't. And Shane, we don't have any strong tough guys on defense and we needed that. What's your opinion? Velas. What do you think, Jim? Well, I just need somebody who can fight. I honestly don't think Shane should have been playing in the lineup anymore.

26:29I think he could have been a healthy scratch. I think he probably should have been for a lot longer than he was. Stanley, you're going to be... I think that was out of respect for him. And the fact that they wanted to get something back. I think that was also a big part of it. But so I will say this about Lowry. I love everything about Adam Lowry and what he does and drops the gloves and gets it over with and deals with things that right then. But he can't be doing this forever. He's always going to trust me. He could be 30-80s. He's going to drop him. That's just who Adam Lowry is. But I don't think he should be doing that forever. Do I think they should go out and get a heavyweight? No. But if you can get a player who can do it and they play and contribute, then I would do that. I would definitely look at that. The biggest criticism this year has been this team lacking speed. Not playing with quickness. So I'm saying right now and I'm seeing the teams that are the up-and-coming teams, the ducks, the habs, the habs, the sharks,

27:29these teams that are the young guys that the jets do struggle playing against, right? They definitely do. These teams really have that enforcer on the team or they're just playing with total speed. That's why they traded Stanley for who they got. They got faster, right? They're not oblivious to the fact that they needed some more speed. It's just the speed they have isn't ready. So they went out and made a trade to get some, which I think is smart. Yeah, I didn't know weaves is on the sharks. I get that. The ducks have some tough guys too as well, but I just think the game... I think the game is... But out of the Olympic break, they kept up with San Jose and... Yeah. But it's okay. It's when they don't execute their system and it's not an effort. Like a lot of people said, all that was a horrible effort. I saw them having effort. I just saw them lack of execution. When they executed a week ago in Anaheim in San Jose, that's two of the fastest transition teams in the league this year. Especially Anaheim. They go. Scott O'Neal said that. They don't only go, but their D-Man go too.

28:30And that's why they're giving up so much defensively. And that's why Tuesday was such a horrific loss for them because there's a team that's not good defensively and just goes all the time. And you only got 13 shots on net. Yeah. Like you should have way more shots on net from a team that isn't that good defensively. But the Jets looked very slow against them, but that was execution. When they execute their system, they're not as slow as everybody thinks they are. I just think... Yeah. I think an enforcer is not a bad thing on any team or a tough guy. Sure. But they have to be able to play in this day and age. You know what I mean? Like it's... They got to be able to play heavy. They got to be able to throw checks. Like a Tom Wilson or something like that. That's a perfect guy. Every team wants a guy like Tom Wilson. Am I saying do they need an enforcer? I mean, if they can get a guy like if Tom Wilson... If they could be a spawn of Tom Wilson, that plays exactly the way that he does. Yeah. I mean, I think every team needs a guy like that on it. But is it a necessity for this team right now?

29:31I don't know. I don't know about that. I'm not sure. I also get a kick out of... Like I was watching Stanley drop the gloves for Buffalo. He's already a god there, right? Yeah. Like they just... They love this guy right now. And I just laugh, right? Like they... Couldn't get him out of... Not everybody, but the majority of people, at least we here on this show, for three years, couldn't get him out of town fast enough. Oh, well, I don't... We're not going to talk about that anymore. Yeah. He was totally hated. But do we need an enforcer? I don't think you need... Enforcer to me tells me that's his job, that's his role. I don't think you need an enforcer. You need guys who can step up for each other and are more than willing to do it. Yeah. This texture says... And I actually agree with this. You need a tough guy for the playoffs or we will never make it to the cup final. You need a guy to go like a Logan Stanley on the team. I think that was sort of the argument in keeping him. It's because if we are going to turn this thing around and we do get to the playoffs next year... Who's Florida's tough guy? Who's Edmonton's? Those are the two teams that went to a cup final the past two years.

30:32That's a good point. Darnell Nurse, I guess, will drop the gloves. See, there's more... The thing about the Panthers, there's more guys that will get on your stand. It's the toughest guy to chuck a Martian or the toughest guys on... Sam Bennett. Sam Bennett will drop the gloves. All those guys will fight, but there's more of their game to chuck. There's more guy, but there's more of those guys' game and I would say they're more pests. Yeah. You know what I mean? They're more like... That's right. Exactly. I think that that's more effective. You just need tough players. You don't need guys who will fight. You need tough physical players that if there's a fight that is needed, they'll do it. But you don't need an enforcer. There's some tough physical players like to chuck and throw them. Yeah. And Martian, if you ever drop some does, Sam Bennett does a lot. I'll give him that. Mm-hmm. What? I don't... You know, if you can get a player like that, but those are also players to chuck. What's up? 100 points a year. The National Hockey League announced a change. The Ottawa Senators penalty for their role in the 2021 trade of Evgeny, Dad and Off.

31:34To the Vegas Goldenites and the subsequent Voided Trade in 2022 between the Goldenites and the Anaheim Ducks. Initially, the SENS were forced to forfeit a first-round pick in one of 2024, 25 or 26. After the team applied to the league for a reconsideration of the initial penalty, the league has now modified the sanction instead of losing their pick. The SENS will now draft 30 second overall. The final first-round selection in this summer's 2026 NHL entry draft. The team will also pay $1 million penalty to the NHL foundation of Canada. That darn Dad and Off trade. I didn't like it from the get-go. Well, yeah, I mean, if you remember, what happened? A $1 fine is a significant thing. That is. That's a lot of money. Yeah. And what do they do again? Well, they ignored no trade. Right. Is not what it was. They ignored the no trade. That's right. Yeah. You're going. Trade was done, right? And then he's like, wait a minute. I don't have to do this. Yeah.

32:34Well, I actually don't agree. Or maybe it was, I said no. Well, I know we heard you, but here's your bags. I said I wasn't going. I know, but here's your busted. Hold on a second. I'll pull up the actual reason here. That's interesting. But yes. That's what they did was the Ottawa Senators were forced to forfeit the pick, which they now has now been changed to the 30-second overall pick. And a $1 million fine. For failing to disclose of getting data knobs, 10 team no trade list to the Vegas Goldenites during their 2021 trade, this omission made a 2022 trade of data knob to be invalid when they tried to send them to the ducks. And the ducks were honest, no trade list. Yes. And Vegas didn't know, and the Senators just lied. Yes. The Senators said, they probably, the Vegas Dites probably said, is he on the no trade for Atahim? And they probably said no. So they did the deal. Yeah. And then they're like, it is. Like I said, Dad, I'm said. I don't think I said no. And I know that they have new ownership and all that.

33:34I don't think they should have been given a leniency. I think that should have stuck. I know. You can't pull this kind of. I know I said I loved you, but your bags are at the door. What?
