All systems go clear A couple of seconds late but I have this clock on the side that's different from the YouTube clock so I think we're gonna be all in the clear. What's going on everybody? Welcome to the Ship at Nation College football breakdown show for week two. My name is Bill put a dollar in front of it you'll find me on Twitter and next to me I have my good friend and colleague Kenny better known as hamhawk 41 in the college football streets. How's it going today on this Friday Kenny?
Already saw another another good slate of games. It's kind of nice to get more competitive games now as the season moves along. Absolutely that's the one one thing you'll notice as we go through the stones today the spreads are a lot closer than they've been for some of these slaves we've had to kick things off. Before we get to the slate though NFL season in full swing the travel plan for Los Angeles didn't seem to work very well on Australia last night. We had a kind of boring game to kick things off although for season long fantasy a couple of maybe significant injuries but NFLs in full swing we have our NFL NFL only package for 349 and that gets you everything through the end of the year through the Super Bowl. But if you're just here for college football we have that too we have a college football package we have packages as low as a dollar less than a dollar a day and then you get saber sin for just a little bit more $44 a month or you can go $19 a month if you're built annually.
And then obviously if you like multiple sports if you want NFL college football and you want to play baseball when it's not football season whatever your pleasure is we have all access with saber sin. One of the big parts especially in college football is getting into the discord community and that is that is you know that's something that's good for news is something that's good that builds community honestly. We have this banner code ship 19 that will get you five days for $19 so for less than $20 for me personally that's I mean just enough to experience the discord on a college football Saturday or an NFL Sunday the entertainment value is is worth it in and of itself in my mind so. And another reason to get involved we have a ship at games going on again this year if you are in all access or NFL only member you are qualified and it's similar to last year we have the three events the golden shipper contest every single week one through 15 and if you win that you get a golden ship ticket to the finals the winner circle any 5 K plus win following the winner circle rules I won't bore you with all of those if you want to figure it out you can go to ship a dock ship at nation calm slash games.
But then the event three the share ship so the number one winners will share a line up with Tango and part if you win part of those winnings goes into the pot right now the pot is at 45 147 and that will only get bigger it will never get smaller and then another reason to come to ship at nation just look at our winners from last week a familiar name at the top thanks in part to the extra second at the Michigan game can you have a chance to get a win. Yeah, turns out that Hail Mary matter to got me my first seat of the season didn't think I was in paying attention to the so far behind and yeah that shot me at the top and then Winston walk in his last touchdown shot me up the top and gpp so it was a pretty solid a pretty solid night slate last week. And so while the entire college football community was gripping about the clock you know there are a few people that are probably like you know what I'll take that touchdown give me the extra second all day.
Now we're going to bring on Ian as well I am Robbins is here. Oh there he is got to figure out the technical side of this. What's up guys how are we doing another week of college football excited for. Yeah perfect timing to because we're just about to jump into the slate let's see technical stuff. Oh man I wasn't even screen sharing before everything I was just talking about podcasters on the audio only anyway here's here's the shipic games here's the shipic games page ship at nation dot com slash games the total I talked about earlier all of the games the golden ship it. All right I guess still still still in week zero week one form to kick off week two in terms of screen shares but here's all the winners from last week now let's just jump into the slate this is what we're here for anyway kicking things off Penn State at temple a bitter big in state rivalry Penn State headed down to Philly to play the owl on the Penn State side big favorites.
Rockle Beck's price is getting up there you know Carson Hanson I thought he'd be a workhorse but I mean he got he got carries it didn't seem like they were super effective but we have kind of a by committee or at least I'm sharing the backfield but then Kobe Howard just bust onto the scene you know I've heard arguments that it was the coaches not himself keeping himself off the field last year so maybe staying with Penn State when everybody else was leaving was the right decision for him but then he still got to look at the Iowa State. Guys Eskelson soul Ben Braemer as a souls price at 3,400 looks super nice and then on the temple side you know big underdogs with a quarter back split so it's tough to swallow that bell even though there are 5K and 4,900 but I think it's intriguing is Kavea Mason got more than 20 touches last week and so with opportunity and come success we talk about it all the time in college football and then you know just a few names. In the past catching a pretempel Colin chase and George over Muda as if you familiar with temple familiar with the F.S. couple of names you probably heard before and then just my favorite on the site writer Cush how are you guys approaching this game it appears to be one side but there might be a runback or two on this temple side can you start you.
Yeah you know I when I initially look at temple I saw the kind of volume Mason got last week and it kind of intrigued me that you know I'm not really going to spend most time on temple I'm not really interested not really super interested in Penn State either like the running back room is a mess that being said Kobe Howard does interest me a lot. He's not getting that ownership that we usually see after somebody like somebody coming off as big of a game as he had not really seeing that big ownership spike or price spike I guess he did come up from $1,700 but there's a chance he still could be under price. I'm seeing some Matt Campbell I received as Iowa State has a big time success and be like volume target dogs I think that's possible for Kobe Howard I mean that's also possible for espody and soul as well so still in on Kobe Howard rest is yet to be seen. Yeah are you looking at this at all for cash again. No I just think you know when you look at the slate I don't want to the Penn State side for cash side single entry side but there's we're going to get to it but there's so many good options when you look at the slate as a whole when there's a lot of question marks kind of past there in the running back room when there seems to be value you know we see if we're going to look at the other board as I say I just don't think this is this is the spot to.
To play it when you're looking to see that that volume edge. Yeah yeah and just this is the first game we're talking about which is. You know it's it's just there's a lot more on the slate upcoming that we're going to discuss it's going to be a lot juicier a lot better for DFS a lot better real life football to and speaking of real life football we have a game in Ann Arbor where the clocks are questionable Oklahoma Michigan. Oklahoma five and a half point road favorite which I'm sure there's a lot of people that watch college football that want the sooner so just blow the doors off of this Michigan team they cruised against you tap it's it's hard to take a ton from that because they were significantly better but geometry looks really good and this might be the cheapest we see them all season. And then we have the backfield which is a little bit jumbled a van got the start but it's basically him and Robinson leading the charge and then had them play lock up and dealing with injuries so what their workload is going to be whether they're on the field or not is uncertain and then satania trail Harris pretty pretty clear one to.
Rocky beers had a touchdown last week we had some Friday night beers and then Parker Livingstone could potentially see his workload increase coming off of a concussion or at least being in the protocol so maybe we see his role increase on the Michigan side is weird Bryce underwood didn't look good he's getting paid a lot of money and winning him made comments this week that it's he's the quarterback right now but it's not infinite. And the backup is Tommy car and then you might recognize Michigan fans recognize the last name for sure grandson Lloyd car Notre Dame recognizes the name brother of C.J. Car. So there's there's a little drama and an arbor I mean Jordan Marshall a little bit more solidified he's just expensive for this match up and Heiter could eat into a little bit more and the aforementioned J.J. Buchanan the Hail Mary hero looking good at 5100 and marshes even cheaper even like those two guys are probably the. Target share I mean they might spread it out a little bit but those two guys seem like they had a clear grass on it in a low total it's it's tough to it's tough to pull the trigger you know there is a little bit of value though.
There's some value but it's a classic spot of big name game probably prime game of the of the slate best football game that on paper we see two big game brands but not one that we want really on necessarily touch the numbers don't line up the over and there's total so lineup the pace of the play doesn't line up the. You know just everything that we're kind of looking forward to build on 12 game slate just doesn't line up for a cash perspective on this game yeah great game great name brand big lot of viewers on it could have something to say towards the end of the year but. You know even with the little value with Buchanan you know maybe mater is always going to be a guy that pops a little bit for cash it's just the pace of these guys play that showed Michigan show last week and i'm almost defense i would just scrap over this game and again we got some we got some bigger ones to talk about down the road. For me like others i've got to have some interest in jjb cannon.
So last week i you know i don't know there's just there's a lot of options that being said i don't i might run like i don't think i'm going to play rice on wood or i'm not going to touch Michigan running backs but i might run some oak like some material with a pass catcher and then a Michigan guy like the cannon or marsh i actually really like the taken at 65 hundred. He's kind of like i don't think he's overpriced but he's not like cheap and it's a bad game environment but he's a guy that like this whole often could funnel through that played a lot of two tight in sets last week i mean obviously they're playing you type of the you know that was pretty much a business on both sides of the ball. But so taking it really intrigues me he returns ponds to like there's just a lot of a lot of ask for him like you see those 24 points it's wouldn't shock me if to take that got you know three touchdowns of those 24 points. The trail Harris kind of interest me he didn't get his until later in the game last week and then as much as i love rocky beers and he was really good for me last week i'm not kind of staying away from those guys.
Lloyd of on i'm still undecided on because i thought he looked pretty solid and the price isn't crazy like i mean if if for some reason they like. Lloyd of on looks good again they just rolled with him there's some upside maybe for some volume for him i don't know if you need to get that cute on this slate but it's something i'm considering and then yeah mature but you actually had a pretty good game against Michigan last year Michigan plays a lot of man coverage and that least one of the things that you can do is. And that leads to quarterback running and i think you had like two seventy and two and then like seventy some rushing yards and a touchdown last year so there is some like. Yeah yeah it's it's um. For DQ player i can find like in a lot of reasons play people but there is some there's some spots on the soko homicide i think. Yeah and one thing to is as we go along we're going to see a handful of guys price higher and some good value a quarterback and material just feels like in that middle zone where.
It's going to be a little bit overlooked maybe more of an ignored portion. You know i know obviously as we as we run through ownership and look at our numbers it could change but it's it's kind of the weird zone we we get a few guys in it every week we zero was no camp. And then the other thing to i want to mention briefly as hip at nation if you're part of the discord we do a thing called stages. On you know before big slates typically on Saturday morning and hour ahead of lock where we have some deeper discussions and on Friday when Oklahoma played they were a big part of the discussion. And because we saw ownership going one way and we're just talking about Isaiah satanian like it's just going to be him it was him last year he had spike games on any in a big game and like you said the return game definitely asked that to. Arizona State of Texas a and M very different looking Arizona state team cutter bowling in from Kentucky look good against bad competition last week.
Jason Brown is seems to be the guy in this running room i don't really know who else it's going to be. And then we have some names that you'll recognize not as Arizona state guys but just guys from college football in general home are young Miller and read Harris Miller from Colorado read Harris from Boston college. And then we have a clear one two and then we have vines bright like a diamond a big discounted price a guy is just going to be on the field enough to where you can look at him in the three case. And then on the Texas a and M side Marcel read one of the expensive quarterbacks is dual thread he's a stud he has upside weekend week out Rubin Owens is intriguing 7200 doesn't seem like it's high enough. He's due to get a pretty big workload on a team that is a 14 and a half point favorite 32 point team total and then the wider receiver room it's it's similar names we talked about with a number four Mario Craver being the main one action about the Roman Terry bus he's still there then Isaiah Horton had a solid game last week as well so a lot of big names and a big team total for Texas a and M he and we'll start with you just break down this game higher approaching it for cash I mean.
There are some guys that stick out at least a little more than the previous two games. Well, it's really interesting when you look at these games because both these teams played just lesser the competition now and I got all really rely a little bit more on what the preseason reports were about who's going to play the bulk of it. You'll still from this project perspective Arizona State from the numbers big underdog low team total probably not even though they have some some good players guys that we know not really interesting to me at this spot just seems like a tough matchup going on the road and playing the heat in a and M and I'm kind of. Good team you know fringe playoff team. Marshall reads always a guy that we're looking for in cash I just think they're better options this week which we'll get to you know the pricing is just. Price up we should be room and oh is also a guy that is true number one. To touch down favorite three to point total guy by the numbers that we definitely want to look at as a cash consideration as well.
Receivers the nice thing about a and M is we know the balls going read likes to pass the ball to his top guys. Crayers the top guy. Horton's the top guy that is really reliable for us when it comes to DFS because we can. You know stack those guys knowing that he likes his favorite targets but still still not the range we're still getting there we're still. Some big things I'm you know maybe read maybe Owens maybe if you want to if you got some salad over one of those receivers is a good spot. For the cash single entry way but still not the target spot for me yet. Yeah me me personally I like text a name as a whole this young little down on for fantasy just with the loss of calling Klein. That being said really like really the only one interest me is ribbon Owens he didn't have as much volume like you might have more volume this week that we can't really project yet.
Some kind of interest there he might there's some really good running back plays on the slate and he's kind of one of them but he's not like. Like the top one so this is chance he goes overlooked so I'm interested in and then. I just can't talk myself out of like I love a Mario Miller or read Harris and like that's about it from Arizona state but I really like each of them separately it wouldn't talk me if one of them had 10 or more catches Arizona state is typically fed their dudes. And both of them had good volume last week I don't I think it's going to be hard to predict which one obviously maybe until we get some like more matchup data later in the season. But I really like taking the shot on one of us to in GPP sprinkling them in. But yeah that's really all I have on this game is kind of met compared to the rest of the slate. Yeah and misreading the start time is completely acceptable after last week there are several clocks you can look at doesn't really matter which one until it comes to crunch time then you pick the one that favors you the most.
And I was going to say you can make up for it by hitting the like button but I assume you did if you're already encouraging others so Texas scratch DFS is all over it despite the tardiness it's all forgiven but can you mention Colin Klein he makes an appearance in this next game was you at Kansas state. And I think that's not Kate and pinnacle is I don't know he's dual threat it didn't he looked okay at times against Washington. 6500 is a weird price though considering we have some guys in the 5k's and lower 6k's we'll talk about a little bit later. And then the running back room is just kind of a mess a bunch of people touch the ball don't do a whole lot with it and this is going to be a tough match up just like Washington was. I received rooms a little bit interesting because Daniel blood was involved even before Tony Freeman got hurt but now Tony Freeman is not going to play in Daniel blood is 3600 so you're getting a wider see for one at sub 4k and then you have various clements and then Brandon.
Just leave it at that I'm not going to try to pronounce his name I've heard it said and I instantly forget how to say it every time so we'll just going to ask. Can I should more the. At almost m in price and probably going to see the field on the Kansas state side. Aery Johnson is going to be on the table even at this price he's dual threat. My high husband call from a couple years ago that went south pretty quickly Rodney fields in from Oklahoma state he was a starter last week with a 33 and a half point team total both he and Joe Jackson are going to project well. In this game and but it you're probably getting a time share even if you get a lean one way or the other it might only be like 55 45 or 60 40 unless someone gets real hot. In the wider see room it's tibs and manning I'm looking to be the top two guys oak Lee and cure as the tight ends. I don't know it's. It's they have three. I'm going to be the top two guys. Stellar runners so it does make it a little bit harder for me to pull the trigger on one of these receivers the pricing and the pricing is just fine.
Kenny how are you approaching the. The Kansas state Washington state game and what does it look like for GPP. Yeah. You know talking through Kansas state kind of finish off the receivers there. I have no idea which one hit like and the tight ends take a lot of volume to like I don't I like every in GPP is this week I don't think he's going to get over the own because he is kind of priced up relative to what else what other quarterbacks you have available. But I don't think I can take a shot with the receivers running back so it's still an or on the death chart but they flip fields in Jackson fields had more of volume last week to started. I think Rodney fields he didn't catch a pass last week but he did a lot of that Oklahoma state last year so I think Rodney fields is pretty sneaky here. I don't think I think Kansas states really like a really good one off this week. You know one or one of every or Rodney just for the reason you talked about bill how there's just a lot of mouths to feed in the Russian game.
Washington state we got a pretty good look at Washington state against a Washington team that looked a bit more obviously. Yeah panic definitely has some rushing upside like he can definitely scoot. I just don't like the team total really. And so I don't think I'm a plain panic but I was definitely intrigued to I don't know I don't know what a thing Kansas states defense yet I had really no opinion one way or the other and so I think I'm just going to pass for right now. And then running back once obviously mess but Daniel blood for sure just an SEC transfer especially as the game went on panic was connected with him more and more. 36 hundred bucks on trailing games script on the road against a big 12 defense that I don't really have an opinion about sign me up for Daniel blood but that's really all I have to say in this. This battle is like mountain cats figures wild cats yeah yeah and I see you remember last year when when feels was at Oklahoma state.
You had a call on him when he was like forty two hundred dollars and nobody was playing and I kind of like him in this spot and like the third play of the game in a 70 yard. I mean I was just a little bit more than I was in the last section just blew the whole thing up and it was I mean real good look for ship in nation and have a but yeah definitely that's where I think that past catching nugget comes into play even though. I don't know if you had a target last week but not a reception it's definitely on the table. You mentioned Colin clown before he's a really great play caller bad comic Kansas state. I'm really curious to see what average opposition to this terms into this year hard to know from what they had last week but I am curious to see what Avery Johnson is because at his peak he's a great DFS play and and you know it maybe a pops this week maybe it doesn't. He is priced up a little bit but it may be worth a sneak peak there at Avery Johnson is just a really high ceiling to a third quarterback with a really good offensive play call or offensive mind as a new head coach this year.
Really toss box Washington State coming off the Sunday game. I'm going to pick up rivalry. Traveling across a couple of time zones early game in Kansas state but yeah blood is just price way too low concerning he is good enough on receiver there. Definitely consideration there for your cash line on usual lot of flexibility. At the other spots there. Yeah yeah there's there's a lot of unknowns especially because Kansas state played nickel state last week so they obviously look really good everybody who played NFCS opponent or even some of the G6 opponent looks really good but Washington state isn't the isn't the elite of the elite or anything in the FPS level but it's a much better team than they face last week and we'll get a lot more answers on this wild cat team moving forward for sure. Another blowout organ at Oklahoma state a 23 and a half point spread organ looked pretty bad last week for a lot of the game and you but I think that you could argue they have an easier opponent this week than they did last week you know Boise state side by side with Oklahoma state or you know North Texas depending on how you look at it.
Dante Moore had a great DFS game but they also threw the ball 37 times I expect them to throw the ball a good amount here again but with you know if. If they play like they should they shouldn't need to throw the ball as much and there's a lot of quarterbacks and 8900 is the most expensive quarterback on the slate too so. It's it's probably going to squeeze his ownership a little bit in the running back room it looks like we're going to have a split with Davis and in Hill and you know with all of the stud running backs on this slate you know it's it's a perfect GP play if you end up getting a 70 30 in terms of production and you have the right guy it could be. I think you have the right guy it could look really good with this kind of team total. But they definitely have upside if one of them happens to get two or three touchdowns just not not as safe as a play some of these other guys we're going to talk about and I've already talked about and then the wider see room McClellan had a stellar game last week he and Evan Stewart both had nine targets.
And more still probably the number one in this room. Jamari Johnson is the one that sticks out to me especially for cash being the price that he is and knowing the looks that he's going to get those are the only four receivers I got a target last week again we could see more of these guys if this game goes to script a little bit better the last week's game did. And then I guess that Oklahoma states basically North Texas they could you could argue they're a worse team last year they lost the Tulsa by two touchdowns in week one now maybe that's just. Getting their feet wet in a new place but it's I don't know the chemistry should still be there with a lot of these guys and it was with Mestemaker and young white young still got nine targets I do like that he's in the slot he's just expensive on a slate that it looks like we're going to be paying up at running back in all likelihood and Mestemaker at 6300 again. The potential is probably there may this probably isn't the game for it though and then came up Hawkins at 7k flat another guy we're going to probably want our eyes on throughout the year it's just a question mark if you really want him in this match up after what we saw not only after what we saw last week but going up against organ in the wider see room after young it's Coleman who also got a good good amount of targets I kind of like him more because of this price and then Barnes and Boat kind of round it out Ian I.
The heavy favorite has a lot of miles to feed and the underdog is just kind of a crummy looking football team right now such a weird spot today with with organ being a 40 point 40 point team total and you know just. Really not really looking anywhere in a cash lineup just because for the best really priced up and everything else is really split and and you know maybe decorium or maybe McLean but you know we don't. There's still kind of priced up compared to the slate so it's not really enticing as much as the otherwise concerning what their numbers are and Oklahoma states probably were more disappointing results from last week probably a lot of high coming north Texas going north to Oklahoma state a lot of. Expectations from a lot of guys up a lot of really good numbers last year that they just kind of felt flat and this is not really a bounce pass spot for them either I mean they could pop off the you know they could become what we expected them to be but. To really really tough spot concerning what they're going up against so this is kind of a stay away from me which I hate to say with a 40 point to the organ.
It's just we don't have any reliable volume there which we obviously we would love to have and I was that I don't really want to touch your 25 point. Underdog that just comes off a loss and facing hungry team. Yeah organ is definitely tough because it feels like. Is like split hard to guess it is as hard to guess or this hard is to figure out sorry hard time spitting that out. It was like the most consolidated like I remember seeing organ in week one like it was just like those four past catchers those two running backs and don't anymore. If this is more of a blow up might see some more rotation like I just can't I have I'm going to have a heck of a time figure now who I want to play from this team. Billy kind of when you were talking about the you know running back touchdowns one thing about it deer hill if he does have to touch on those are probably going to come from far away so tend to like I kind of like some shares of him.
And then I mean tomorrow Johnson's kind of the easy pick for me just because he's the cheapest I don't know if his role is really any different. So cloma state side like I love me a mess to make her double I don't know if I love it as much this years either last year. I guess I can see this going a couple ways I could see like for mess to make her to succeed is organ and like Oklahoma state shows up keeps the competitive like it goes back to board. We see that North Texas from last year or organ kicks a crap out of them is 42 is nothing in half time they call the dogs and mess to make her just chuck the entire second half like that that is it like legitimate out for him to be decent like I mean I wouldn't put it hard and drop six touchdowns on Oklahoma state they're super I mean they really have a really high pace of play. It could be like quick three and I was quick three and I was organ scores quick and then it's just out of hand but then I don't see Oklahoma state pulling the starters if they're down six touchdowns in half time like they're going to try to figure some stuff out so like those are the outs for mess to make her that I think it's kind of viable either way like he's like this whole team is going to be unknown Hawkins might get like high singles but I really don't see anybody sending a play a really expensive white young.
And I don't really like any of these guys at one off like I just I like playing these all stacked but it's I have more interest in probably the general public but I do see some out here for some GP piece of. Yeah yeah. Yeah, Mesta maker last year was the money maker and this year the emphasis has been more on the mass but maybe you need the game to be a complete mess for him to get his upside I mean we saw it's going to work good work good work yeah I got there I can't tell you how long I was thinking about it while Kenny was talking I did hear what you said just to want to be clear. But yeah I mean there is a little bit to like in this game and now that Oklahoma state has their feet wet I'm not saying they're going to can necessarily compete with Oregon but it could be a better product than we saw last week on the field against also for sure. Wake Forest of Purdue tight spread not a super high total but at least a competitive game and we saw wake forest a lot of eyes on wake forest being on a smaller slate last week and they dominated further like the first half and then just kind of coasted in the second half.
You know geolokas had a stellar game he looked like a stunt throw on the ball had five yards of carry Akron obviously it inferior opponent you could argue Purdue is as well but at this price I got to imagine he's going to see a little bit of ownership 7200 seems too cheap the running back room is interesting because Thai Clark ended up getting there he had a big run later on he got the 100 yard bonus but in the first half in six drive he had the first half. In six drive he had 27 yards rushing so there are a lot of people pulling their hair out with you know doos lorence getting double the carries is Thai Clark for the most part getting more production than Thai Clark then we have our resident wake fan Monday in in our shipping community and he says a lot of people like doos like doos lorence might be the guy so that's that's interesting to get a $1,500 discount for a team that's favored so some interesting stuff in the backfield and then Carlos Hernandez. In one half had five for one 65 and a touchdown last week injuries not a scare it sounds like sounds like he got the win knocked out of him in an extreme way just could never catch his breath so they played it safe but then shanks and meat you're getting in this count again Antonio meeks had the big touchdown cam shanks is on the field enough and you got 6,000 5,000 4,000 which is quite pleasing now just not an order on the stone because we'll break down the fourth wall a little bit meeks is projective.
So he's expected for a little bit higher than cam shanks on the produce side we have Ryan Brown who's sub 6k and a decent spot a competitive game has a little bit of dual threat to him. He had more than seven yards of carry last year and added for rushing touchdowns so there's definitely upside especially at this low price, Fama Asia boy prior to this week pff's number one graded running back in FBS football and a former go for. He can he can catch passes in the check down game it seems like he's the clear number one Travis tarot and Jared Gibson split carries behind him with tarot getting a slight nod and then the wider see room Assad with seem and Zayri towns and both had a target they seem like the clear favorites of Ryan Brown but trancey mag one at 3,400 is going to get some looks as well he's on the field plenty but just didn't get the receptions last week so we finally have a competitive game in. What it like it just yeah this is probably the first part of the total just yeah this is maybe the most stackable game so far competitive game you know cheap affordable prices got some dual threat type quarterbacks got some some decently floor higher upside receivers as well to go with it really interesting is in this quarterback receiver area here for you trying to fill out cash line if you want to try to get a little bit different with a second quarter back in here.
I think either one of these two guys is great option may have mid tier guy low and in geo and a low price guy Brown. The receivers are really good to we have been have some salary across from an is a nice pay up spot anyone those guys you mentioned. And any of those guys are really good as a second or third receiver target looking to see if the salary so good spot numbers line up competitive game that's some dual threat got some some points potential got some affordable prices. They don't even you know slight like this wake for us for do this is what we're looking for here. Yeah it's a vibe I got off this game is going to be extremely disappointing or it's going to be something that I don't have enough of like I'm not playing the running back for me to team I'm forcing like I'm playing geo low pass by I'm forcing him in a double stack I think for him to hit this ceiling on this plate he's going to take two past catches with them their price fine enough to do that.
And then yeah the produce side when I'm playing Ryan Brown I am in a stack with the receiver and I'm going to double stack with wait for like it's going to be a whole game game stack or nothing for me here but I am yeah this game doesn't I mean maybe it's just because it's wake force Purdue it's a demon decon it's a boil maker I don't know but I just don't have. Yeah and it's going to be hard to tell who's who when you first turn on your TV because they're the same colors. They both have a not animal name I yeah but competitive game so like we're going to get to way better games later I think but as we scroll through this is this is a little bit of a breath of fresh air on this slate. Back to the double digit spreads we have Alabama Kentucky Keel and Russell looked really good obviously playing a much different team this week you know but he's a guy that can get it done with his legs to let the team in rushing attempts and yards but I think part of that too is because this running back rooms very very congested and clustered Daniel Hill and Trashon Brown actually kind of led the charge in terms of volume.
E. J. Crwell had a decent amount and got five yards after contact on average Kevin Riley was kind of the guy left behind the guy squeeze he did get some time on the field but nothing that you're going to write home about. And then just to throw another wrench into it a K deer is on the mend he's questionable right now but he could very easily be the number one when he comes back so I do have a lot of pause with this running back room especially. On top of the congestion with Keel and Russell being the runner that he is and then the White receiver room is pretty clear Ryan Coleman Williams if he can catch the ball is going to be a solid option I think week after week after week. Brooks and Scott got the snaps just didn't really get the looks and you know kale bed words a tight end is great but then Derek meadows is very interesting to me he got some run early. And it but didn't get his most didn't get most of his snaps until later on in the game. But on nine routes run he got targeted on four of them so. It's it's one thing it's a thing the fans want to see him more he was a four star last year out of Bishop Gorman so the potential is there it's just he needs the opportunity I think and then on a Kentucky side Kenny Minci in from Notre Dame another sub six K quarter back.
And then C.J. Baxter Jason Patterson kind of split in the back field C.J. Baxter in from Texas got the starting nod but it was pretty close to a 50 50 split backster just happened to get the touchdowns last week. And then the best part of this team Kentucky the past catchers the two most targeted guys both tight ends Willie Rodriguez and Michael Skinner but it's only six and four targets so it's not not a huge number. But in a game like this Kentucky with a new very very new look it's not your stoop's Kentucky team they brought in a couple of offensive minded guys from Oregon and LSU to be head coach and OC. And I mean Kenny the quarterback couldn't have a better name right. Yeah I mean we got Kenny mentioned we got Kenny Darby and Kentucky how could I got named Kenny not not one of some of these wild cats but yeah and obviously I do kind of like Kentucky I they're going to be virtually unknown all the way through I think especially in the in the past catcher department I think really Rodriguez is like a really good tight end I think they use him I think like they want him to maybe be the vocal part of the past and this is just me.
I mean I think it's really random opinions but I really like some Willie Rodriguez in some stacks like with Keel and Russell. I also really like CJ back backster it was hard to get a gauge off the amount of volume he got last week with the blowout nature of the game but it wouldn't stop me if CJ basher had like 20 to 25 opportunities and like volume his way into a respectful draft Kings for. And Kenny mentioned he has some legs as well like I have some interest in these Kentucky guys it's really gross I don't know if I really want to correlate it with Alabama just because the options are feel like limited on Alabama I don't want to touch any of the running backs it's hard to figure out like it wouldn't shock me if Kroll and the being the guy by the end of the year and we actually do get to play him but right now I think it's a little too murky. He had a really good Russian performance last week he kind of got sniped at the goal line by the running backs constantly like there's a lot of upside in his fantasy score and he had a respectable score last week but like if you play as a whole game he would have easily gotten a hundred Russian yards I feel like so I think it you know the price discount here I think he's a really really good play you don't have to pair him that being said I don't think either of these past catchers at the top of the list here in RCW and loads your Brooks.
What are going to be garnered very much ownership so like that's a thing this isn't your March. Doob's Kentucky of the last 12 years that's just boring like there's a chance that Kentucky like can have some fancy relevance. So yeah I mean like this is real sneaky for me I'm definitely going to be overweight on this game as a whole probably nothing for cash though right. Not not really I mean maybe you can talk yourself into killing Russell just because it's such a dual threat floor high ceiling kind of guy I think Kentucky was still waiting on the sea really stands the new head coach use the Oregon offense coordinator so you mentioned tight ends. That ends always been a focal point of the Oregon offense so we want to like take a just keep that in the back of our heads down the road when Kentucky is going to be viable on the slate which will be coming up down in the season you know back so as you know back so I'm sure that's a good thing to do with the action as I was he talented but maybe a one off from one of those guys in Kentucky maybe killing Russell but this is a good football game to watch not something we can track the ton of volume to right now at this point.
Yeah this is going to be a good indicator of what we can expect from Kentucky the rest of the season and we'll be looking at them in the future I'm sure they have Texas A&M next week so I'm sure they'll be on the slate and I think playing Alabama give us a decent enough gate on the pitch on how they handle you know these SEC teams and then unfortunately I doubt they're going to put Kentucky South Alabama on the slate after that but maybe we'll get lucky. All right now we can just can the rest of the show honestly because this is going to be the best game of the day. We have Mississippi State the bulldogs coming to town against Minnesota. Tomorrow Taylor absolute stud last week he we talked about it in our discord he was our core quarterback I think both you and I and Adam in our initial core and he paid off in a big way. This is going to be an interesting match up because one of the strengths of Minnesota's defense is their ed rushers in the defensive defensive line and one of the weaknesses of Mississippi State is the tackles so it's what if the D if the D line's going to dominate you want somebody like Camarriott.
Taylor back there and I think he can still get there even at this price he's talented enough fluff both well is certainly capable as well I imagine he's going to get a little bit more volume this week in a more competitive game. I'm calling Wilson will probably eat into his usage a little bit but I don't think it's enough that it would shy you away from both well in terms of raw production is just 7500 is is going to cap his upside a little bit more. And then Anthony Evans probably not priced up enough 6100 is not only fair but I think under price for him clear number one receiver targeted early and often and the thing I like about him the most is the go first have strong cornerbacks but they don't go down into the slot which is where Anthony Evans. So I really like him even at 6100 then you do get a little bit of a value with Reagan's and Johnson just not as much of a value on Reagan's as you have last week he was a pretty sure min price on the night slate so. Definitely some things to love on this Mississippi State side on the Minnesota side the most embarrassing actually the second most embarrassing thing draft Kings has ever done the first most embarrassing was putting a slate on that showdown last night.
The second most embarrassing I seek Drake Lindsay at 5300 he's not going to get you much with his legs but against the Mississippi this Mississippi State defense I he can easily get 16 points and 3x in the air it's a very safe floor I would think. So a price play if nothing else for Lindsay and then Daria's tailored a top running back and college football even if he can't get there on the ground he's a pass catcher and yet I mean I know I wasn't FCS opponent but they fed him a lot in that game and he still had three touchdowns the one slight concern I had is that Eastern Illinois had seven tackles for loss and five of them were against the starters so if I were to have pause with the go for side that would be why. And then I don't think Jay Von Tracey is going to return to punts again this week I mean it's possible obviously but he is the wider receiver one seems to be Drake Lindsay's favorite target I thought I'd be Jalen Smith being the one or two this year but no Jennings and from Cincinnati they've loved him at spring camp they loved him at fall camp they gave him some looks in the first game and he's 3400 and likely the number two and then Pierce was a tight at has in touchdown upside but that's about it.
A little bit more a little bit more on the cash side in this one and then we've seen so far on slate. Yeah I mean you covered so well and death when I got to add too much to it Camaro Taylor is the kind of cash quarter records that we want to see close spread really competitive game environment pretty high total complete dual threat guy high upside high floor love Camaro Taylor this week in the spot. You know you mentioned failure price receivers on both sides Drake Lindsay his price is just way underpriced again like slight home favorite 20 and a half point team total quarter back with some pedigree just really really good spot he's also I will add don't be afraid if you are playing this game to play Lindsay with Darry's Taylor if you were asking that question that they are totally fine to pair together not only this Taylor. Catch it on the balls but Lindsay is so far under price that it's really okay it's a way to get the salary savings there to get them get to the volume with Taylor is the volume that we look at and Camaro Taylor's also got you can play naked.
If you don't have a salary you don't want to pay up to staff and receivers that's also totally fine to do with these guys just the way that they play and the way it builds out but really nice place here really nice game environment for that. Yeah I am you know Drake Lindsay like obviously so cheap I kind of think that he might be like overused like by himself I almost like forcing a double stack 150 build with Drake Lindsay of course there is Taylor can be included in that. Yeah not a ton to add I mean obviously better a resident golden go for expert so I don't need to add too much there and then yeah Mississippi State the only thing really that I'd have to add is right ragans did lead this team in areas last week. It's probably like if I play him and like like ragans Johnson or McGee it's going to be I'm going to force it with Taylor and only Taylor.
It's a little too expensive for me right now but boy that's your ultimate pivot if you don't want to play Taylor Evans they're going to garner a ton of ownership so yeah not a ton to add pretty sick spread and total here though so should be should be something. I mean that has overtime game written all over it's. Yeah that would be phenomenal and this is like for real life football this is going to be a little bit of an indication of what this season could go like for either team I don't think either is a contention in their respective conferences but if one side gets just blown out it's not going to be a good look for the season at the very least you want this game to be competitive looks like it's going to be. Alright and we talked about some under pricing there's a little bit more in this game we have Arizona BYU not a great team total for Arizona but for FIDA is another guy who feels like he is in this eight to nine K range on small slates and then get squeezed into the six is in seven for the bigger slates but he's definitely shown he's capable the running back room is weird because you got riscano you got Quincy Craig names that were there last year and you see is.
This is my money who was just deemed eligible thanks to a temporary or straining order so he didn't play last week he's getting thrown into the mix so the running back room is weird murky waters the water see room is where there's some under pricing trace by be. F4800 I think is slightly under price but even more under prices Giovanni Richardson it's almost like draft kings got messed up with the name change he was geo Richardson last year and you got a ton of playing time had a ton of production and now he's a min price number I mean you can argue he's number one two or three because Chris Hunter is there as well and he was a top option for a lot of last year so. Three stellar wide receivers one of them a min price just a pretty egregious miss price now the BYU side bear back Meyer in the six K's with Ruchick rushing upside LJ Martin should get a bulk of the carries anyway but now Simone Moas Cioni Moas down to so that should feed even more usage his way an AK quarterback price to 6500 that screams cash to me maybe you get a little bit of Devon Ica and then press and Rex is still there and one interesting thing in the receiver room is legend glass.
Glass her solid wide receiver had some production last week but they also get them involved in the run games so maybe we see that creep up with Moa not on the field but then you know Jojo Phillips is a familiar name of BYU Kyler Casper's in from Oregon and we also know BYU loves their tight ends so lions is on the table as well. Just not it doesn't seem like a great game environment for DFS but the pricing just and volume for the usage and pricing is what's drawing me here. Yeah I mean I thought he uses the volume right there that's we speak the cash language and we got a under price number one number two starting receiver a min price guy automatically consideration for cash there just because of is going to be on the field and we hope he gets targets because he's going to be on the field and you know a couple cash is going to do it there. And then on BYU side you got an under price tool thread quarterback who was an all conference type player last year.
Preseason on conference type player just kind of really under price and we have the season big 12 player of the year and LJ Martin who's been a stud the last two years. Did priced up way heavier than this on on other states I'm not really sure why that price is that way. I don't know I mean unless somebody you should project to touch the ball 20 to 25 times as a seven to half point favorite you know it's not too crazy to blow out the conference game for both teams. I really like to look there and I think you got some options on both sides of the scheme I think the BYU guys are definitely worth a look is so one off plays. If you're trying to get a little bit different in some spots I want LJ Martin is not going to get you very different in some spots I think he you know he screams as one of our cash type running back but I think somebody else can get you a little bit different that's more can you think about that situation. Yeah I mean if you play LJ Martin geo Richardson you're definitely not kidding different like that being said those are like I mean really when you look at the positions as far as like the value value goes like those might be the first two clicks from point per dollar perspective.
Um you know BYU you know the spread seems like bigger than I would like just generally think. I guess I mean LJ Martin obviously kind of speaks for himself glass her I just like Parker Kingston had a really awesome role I don't know if glass is going to take that same role or if it's folks are Casper to me I still think like the debates kind of out of that obviously glass had I mean I have five touches and three touchdowns last week so. Clearly I'm has some explosiveness there and then as far as Arizona goes. Brennan back rooms to muddled for me but five is probably going to go overlooked just with Richardson I mean he's he's a very solid play to but he's probably going to go more overlooked than he should. And last year this guy trace by the he survived on touchdowns that's not really something you want to fight it like there's I mean he's got 30 point upside. I definitely hear you know trailing trailing game script tight game.
It's I think it's pretty interesting for he's five is more the GP play or Richardson's you crash plug and play salaries savings guy and then you know I guess I will say Arizona's kind of been a little goofy with the Roger C rotations. But I feel pretty good about five in Richardson and their roles beyond that not very confident so yeah this should be interesting hopefully Aussie Martin doesn't spend like half the game on the sideline coming in and out because he is coming off a soldier surgery I mean he's fine obviously cleared everything but he just he seems like one of those guys just gets hurt all the time. So yeah. That's probably his biggest risk because we've seen it happen and then like I trace by these a guy consider like a 3333 guy 3 targets 3 catches 3 touchdowns a guy that goes overlooked and then first drive of the game he has one catch for 70 yards in a score and it's over. If you have him in your line like you you're laughing the field at that point.
But yeah lower total that I do think has some fantasy goodness but now we're getting into some points central Florida Pittsburgh. Alonza Barnett looked very very good against a very very bad football team and he's got some dual threat to him so it's 6600 I mean it's a good price for it but we I feel like a broken record we have a lot of dual threat quarterbacks that feel underpriced on this slate. The running back rooms a little bit split Duke Watson definitely seems like the number one and he sub 5k and he can catch passes but then Swint did get involved chambers got involved some later in the game as well. And then the pass catchers are a little bit spread out dairy and way do feel like the top options and their cheap but then we could see Dwayne Thomas back in the mix this week and then you know wait and Charles is still there all of these guys are cheap though so. You know Dwayne Thomas is back I don't know that I'm running running to play him at 4500 it would probably have more impact on these other guys for me but then on the other side another under price quarterback not dual threat this time though Mason Hineshall maybe the most under like might be more under price and Drake Lindsay is not expecting seven touchdowns again but I wouldn't argue with you if you said that's what is sealing is so 7600 another one of those first click sort of guys.
I does look like to Kyron Turner is going to be the one but at 7900 I just feel like on this slate he's going to get squeezed with a 31 almost 32 point team total there's no reason he can't get that flame next to his name and probably sub 5% ownership so that that screams GPP to me and then the wider severs I mean last week the passca it was like the Oprah pass catchers you get a touchdown and you get a touchdown and you get a touchdown and you get a touchdown. Seven touchdowns of seven different players in this pass catcher room. Hicksley and Knight are the guys but we talked about it just last night guys Pittsburgh historically has like three guys and you never know on a game to game basis which one it's going to be Kenny will start with you on the GPP side how are you looking at this central Florida Pittsburgh games. Yeah it's it's a really great game environment I guess kind of starting with the UCF side I think Barnett's my going to go a little overlooked and he does like daring way I do really like pairing them with Barnett I really think that both of them could go overlooked on this slate and it's really so Pittsburgh historically has like a pass final defense it really stopped the run they will allow you to check the ball don't know if that's my.
I think it's really really much the case this year just because we have like a not one good game sample but generally speaking so that kind of leads me like you know to play the more the passing on the UCF side I think Duke Washington's a very fine play 4800 he's usually super efficient he's definitely a guy that can get their unlimited volume especially at that price but that is like one edge you can play here is a Pittsburgh just likes to stop the run and as historically done that I'm. You know Heinzel the more and more I think about him like gosh if he's the highest on quarterback on the slate like the like the nature of the slate you probably want like 303 might not be enough for Heinzel um and I'm curious like I think he's going to be played by himself and like cash and small field type single entry stuff where it's like cash type builds so I think Heinzel like I'm really going to overstack him and hope for performance like we have.
Last week that being said and like Turner I think it's fine kind of how like there is Taylor was to be like in a double stack with Heinzel I think I'd still want to receive her regardless but if I'm going to get that double part of my turner. The reason read had some games where he was like the past catcher you wanted to have with the you know whole scene at the time I guess so it's not something you haven't seen before. Yeah Turner I like to turn her call bill where he's sub five percent he's too expensive but it's a really good game script for. As you know a seven point home favorite with a high high price running back it's going to be low around I think that I'm in on that. Don't have a lien with the receivers like I guess me I don't think their roles are going to be all that dissimilar so I kind of prefer the Lee and the night just taking the salary savings oh same elite night is a. He's definitely more of a deep threat I can't remember all the stats off the top of my head but I know he had to loan touchdowns in this ring game.
He was a stat line at Western Carolina last year was a he had a really high yards for catch so yeah he's kind of the kind of a sneaky deep shot guy but yeah this is a really good game I'm definitely going to have a lot of pieces of both of them I just want to be really careful how I do it to avoid like being completely the same as everyone else. Yeah and I'm going to say yeah go ahead Bill. Just quickly one thing I want to touch on because hamcock mentioned Pittsburgh being a past funnel they played Miami of Ohio last week not typically known as a passing team like there's slow sloggy team and they still through for 260 to yards and had a 75 yard touchdown pass against the starters of Pittsburgh. Yeah it was in the first half and that game was 28 14 in the second quarter so it wasn't a blow up until later but if you have any questions about Pittsburgh's past defense that's one thing we can take from a lot of sighted matchup I think and it's probably still not quite there.
Yeah and you know and realistically like one thing I was going to say that they can he said was a lot of people are going to play. They are going to play in the next game and that's going to be a lot of potential solo. Which in catch line so you can see that you just go plug and play guys in there one offs with the high floor high ceilings that are really good catch points that stay now this game and the next game we'll talk about as well. Something that I would put in your mind to think about is maybe the way to get different with some of those guys is to think about the way that you fill out your lineup to maybe game stack a little bit more maybe you know if you are stagnant if you don't want to stack maybe building it a little bit differently with. with just some correlation, other ways. If you don't know what you're receiving to stack it with, maybe you played Bartonette as your secondary quarterback as opposed to one of the other under priced, double threat guys. Just different ways that you can go about playing some of your cash plays to get a little bit of differences
because there's gonna be some high ownership numbers on some of these guys. This game ended in the next game as well. Yeah, when you see guys like Henshell that project really well have a super high ceiling and a super high floor, it's not about whether you play them or not. It's about how you play them when you do TAMBO. Our leader here at SHIPPIT has a saying, it's not about who you play, it's how you play them. And that goes with pretty much every single sport in DFS, college football is no stranger to it. But you mentioned in this next game because there are a lot of points here as well. Cal at Syracuse, the age old ACC matchup is what I think you call it. Yeah, plastic ACC rivalry. On the California side we have Jaren Kiyavi, Saagapulli, who's in that kind of weird zone of pricing again, but definitely has the upside. Adam Muhammad though, if you thought LJ Martin was a plug-in play, this may be the best Rob points and points per dollar play on the entire slate.
He had 35 touches last week in a competitive game. We're probably going to get a competitive game here. And at 7600, even if he gets two thirds of the touches, that is considered workhorse. So that's a name that we're going to be very familiar with when Cal is on the slate. Probably going to be late night more often than not. And then the White receiver, who's some familiar names from other places, Ian Strong, from Rutgers, and then Chase Hendrix from Ohio, underpriced. Just both underpriced for their target share. One interesting thing about the past catching Remason Mini looked good, and would have projected very well this week as well, with Dorian Thomas, who's expected back. He was out with an undisclosed injury, but he's in from New Mexico, and probably tight end one immediately. You know, we might still see a little bit of a split, so there's going to be some questions there until we see it. But on the Syracuse side, Steve Angelie coming off of an injury last year. He's got a ton of potential here, and his price is at 6K flat. I mean, a 30 point team total with a quarterback who can sling it
and has a bunch of weapons. The running back room is going to be pretty murky, though. To Lee Kill, and Matt Oton, are listed as the starters. Oton is a White receiver on draft Kings, just FYI. But then Shavon Anderson got early work after Hill last week, so he was in with the starters. And then you have a couple of guys in Jouan Johnson, who finally figured out what position he wants to play after coming from LSU. And then Amad Miller, who was a stud at Jackson State, Johnson and Miller didn't play last week. They could easily work into the rotation this week, and either is on the injury report, both expected to at least be available. So on paper, it looks like Hill's the number one, but I still think there's more questions in this running back room. To be answered, and then speaking to questions, Justice Ross Simmons has expected back another min price guy who's proven it in the past, and probably a starting wide receiver. And Fran Brown was pretty convicted in saying that he is going to play on his radio show or the radio show he's on.
But then you have Umari Hatcher, who's double the price, but he had a massive game last week. Cole Weaver is also going to be on the field. And the aforementioned man, Oton, is he going to be in the back field? I mean, he's listed as an or starter, but he didn't see work until late last week, but he also lines up from this lap from time to time. So a lot of points, but a lot of question marks. How are you approaching this for? I mean, obviously, the score looks good for cash, but there's still a lot of things we need to figure out. I think you highlighted everything. And it kind of mirrors the game we said last time. There's a really a lot of really good play-of-play games. Players here are a little really good. A lot of really good. I just draw points per dollar plays here. A lot of good volume that we see here. You know, I'm a hobbit one of those top tier running backs. Strong Hendrix, top two receivers and jelly. Three and a half point favorite, 30 point team, total six K passing quarterback. It's just, it's kind of outrageous to be honest with you that you see that kind of pricing on a main slate like this.
With a mint price, again, another mint price starting receiver coming off of it. So there's so many ways that you could play this game. That's going to get a lot of ownership. Cash perspective. Again, you're going to plug and play a lot of these guys as one awesome one. If you just look at the raw points per dollar, it's how you play these guys, how you stack them, how you're trying to correlate, how you're trying to get a little bit different with it. Are you like maybe separated in game stack or you're bringing the games that are together? How are you doing that if you're managing out? This seems like a week that you maybe make, make some match a couple of different cash lineups, a couple of a single entry lineups. So how are you going to build each of these to be unique with these high ownership, high correlated, highly funneled, really good volume plays in here that we're going to see. It makes a really nice puzzle. Even from my perspective, what it doesn't seem as obvious because there's so many good options that are just throwing at us from the volume perspective. Yeah, like Angelie, I mean, Angelie usually like regardless of price,
if somebody that I'm always pairing or even like double stack me, especially if he's priced up that I don't think you have to this week with him, just because of the unknowns in the wide receiver room. Like I like obviously we're supposed to get a Ross Simmons back to what extent like nobody really knows. I'm probably just kind of as far as the receivers go, I'm probably going to play Hatcher and weaver, force them with Angelie. I'm going to force Angelie to be ran back with the Cal Kai guy, but I honestly don't mind and you could probably do this for cash to just play. Angelie and then Muhammad and strong just to get the back of forth that game. Like it's really correlated, but it I kind of like a stack like that. I think the way I'm going to handle Ross Simmons is I'm not going to play him in my player pool. And when the afternoon games roll around, I'm going to kind of evaluate the situation more. If we get some concrete info that he's like starting, I'm going to go through and find some geo Richardson lineups that are crap.
And Pivot's a Ross Simmons or even the UCF guys like if they're I don't think they'll get much ownership. But I think he's just kind of an afternoon pivot on a dead lineup for me right now to try to like just completely sneak past everyone with a big performance from him. The cal side of JKS is honestly like too expensive for what he does as a quarterback for fantasy purposes. The only way I'm playing him is in the devil and I honestly don't even like usually I wouldn't mind Muhammad and like JKS be ending up in a line together like there's a third piece to a double stack. But I really don't like it here because I think like I think if that happened, they're both too expensive enough to where it would take away from each of them to where you couldn't get like to where you need to win a ZTP. So I think I'm just going to play JKS and stick specifically with like the strong hand darts and many of the world. If Dorian Thomas is all the way back, I don't even know if I'll play many. I might just like force JKS with just those two receivers.
But it kind of feels wrong not taking a shot on JKS 150 build. Muhammad's probably my favorite running back on the slate like when you consider match up and volume and everything like Martin, like Martin and even like Taylor, like or even and Shepherd or about to talk about like the match up is a little scary. This one seems like the safest and it's still not necessarily the best. Yeah, I guess I just kind of realized we had all these guys from the afternoon, but yeah, that's all right there. Well, one game asked her another, but yeah, that's really all I have in this game. It's a great like game, sad game. Just kind of seriously, we have more clarity in the circuit receiver room. Like I mean, and even like Ty's on Russell, I'm like if I'm not getting my guys confused, I feel like he was like a top five wide receiver prospect. Like you might even been a five star someplace. It's the other wrestle. Oh, okay. Okay. Yeah, the other Russell. He's still out. He still heard.
Okay, that's for the worst. Okay. I was like, why aren't they playing that guy? I was in the basketball team too, but he's out. Still. Okay. Sweet. Well, that's all I have there. Yeah, and one thing you mentioned that's super important. We have two min price wide receivers that should not be min price at their peak. Like if they're fully healthy and getting their usage, Ross Simmons and Richardson should not be min price. But one of them is garnering ownership. So it's a perfect opportunity to pivot, especially like you said, if you're behind and you need a pivot for the afternoon games. We saw it in week one, the weekday between Trimble, it Illinois, who will talk about in a second and then Antonio Meeks, both min price both in similar spots, both on favorite teams. And that being me, it's when all the ownership went to Trimble. So it's not apples to apples comparison, but I think it's close enough that it's worth mentioning. And yeah, I put on X that it feels like a week that I'm going to be at the bottom for a few hours and then hopefully search once the 230 game start.
At least early, early looks. And the last game hit the like button before we get out of here. And if you guys have any last second questions, throw them in while we talk about this last game too. But Duke at Illinois, a game that Duke got spanked at home last year. We thought was going to be a lot closer and just was not. Here's where you decide if you're going to go dumpster diving Walker, you get price like a temple quarterback. But maybe. Worthy of it because if there's going to hand the ball off to Nate Shepherd, the entire game, what's the difference? Why do you even need a quarterback? So yeah, Nate Shepherd, obviously, is stud last week. Definitely a workhorse. And then the past catchers will just go as the game plan goes and go as eager goes. I don't know that there's any one particular guy that sticks out to me, especially with how the game went in week one. Against what appeared to be an inferior opponent. And now this week they have a tough on the road in Illinois. A team that handled business last week.
Kaden Howes actually got a price stock, even though he performed really well. And they still have a 29 point team total. So 7400 middle ground, probably overlooked, but definitely has the upside for four maybe then maybe even five acts if they could if they throw the ball a lot. But then Cole Valentine and let Aiden Lafferry are in a split. But Valentine did seem like the number one one a out of those guys. And then another pricing position. I just don't understand Colin Dixon and Hudson can come out and not getting priced up. Love both of them as cheap as they are. Colin Dixon should probably be in the six to seven K's and Clement should at least be in the five K's. And then the aforementioned tremble didn't do a whole lot last week, but still on the field still got some targets. So at 3,300 he's one of those guys that's not going to get a ton of looks because of the other three K receivers on the slate. But how are you approaching this game? I mean, still a decent total and competitive game. There's still lots of love in this game, especially. I mean, Nate Shepherd is expensive, but still catching eyes and cash right in.
Yeah, I mean, there's obviously two, I think, I think in further, there's two obvious cash plays. Nate Shepherd, touch ball thing like 40 times last week. Wouldn't expect anything less. The whole offense is going to run through him. Just matter of are you willing to take the stand against them if you want to fade Duke and that would be the fate of Duke because they have the lowest team total. Biggest underdog of those guys that we mentioned at the running back room and he is the highest price one. He's definitely a cash consideration guy. He's going to be in a lot of the lineups. He's going to be very heavily owned. If he is the definition of a cash play running back, I mean, that's just kind of how it is. And then Colin takes on the same side of the other side of receiver, very fair priced under priced target hot top receiver of a passing quarter back. Everything you want. Those are. They're going to be highly owned. So you got to make decisions there. There's a lot of decisions to be made. A lot of following, but those really hard guys to pass up comes to building on a cash loan. Again, it comes to the question of how do you build them? How do you play them?
And how do you take risks with them or without or around them? Yeah, like Duke just I don't know if you're a little handier than me, Bill, but I feel like they ran like that obscene amount of plays last week. Like up in the 80s, I could be wrong. And then shepherd. Shepherd had like 40 carries that was on the field to like 50 staffs. It was just kind of a weird thing. I can't remember exactly how that shook out, but this Duke team walk you get sucks. I can't believe I even played a little bit of him last week. Like I just I knew he sucked and I just got I'm like, Oh, please, you don't do this. And then yeah, I got sucked into that. And I'm not I'm not making that mistake again. Nate shepherd. Obviously the volume is huge, but I think Duke like what does Duke do when they get in the third night? Like are they going to have to shepherd like pray gets a yards like I don't. I just think that this is like a check I think Duke kind of sucks besides like Nate shepherd. And I think it's just a bad environment for him to like really succeed. Like I'm hoping that the ownership holds a similar to the other three kind of stud running backs and talks about in the afternoon.
I was like, I want to be really under that like he's the most expensive. I'm I kind of tend to lean that everybody's going to start to feel that way. I started morning rolls around. It's a lot easier to play the two guys that are you know few hundred bucks cheaper. I was in Martin. He's almost too grand cheaper. I'd be at Duke. I just I'm not very thrilled about them. Illinois. So I wasn't really interested in how's there. He didn't have a Russian custom last week. But these are fevers or just I mean the projecting so well. And it's more of a like guys are hurt and they're going to have more volume rather than them like just being like then Illinois having like a high volume passing attack. I still really like both of them are both the two top guys there. They are going to pull some ownership. So don't really know how to handle it. I think I think how's it might get pulled because of them just the natural stacking of them. Don't really know what I want to do with Illinois. Like it wouldn't shock me if Illinois. Like just take the crap out of Duke. Like I just yeah, I don't know. I think Duke's really bad after that performance last week.
I just yeah, like this seems like the least likely to shoot out of the next of the three games previous to this one. Yeah, I don't know. I'm just making it to a warm and fuzzy. Yeah, and they did run 75 plays. Nate Shepherd had 35 carries and three catches. And to answer your question, just scrolling through the play by play when it got to third and long, they had a couple of passes, but I'm seeing like third and 12 Nate Shepherd 12 yard run. Third and nine Nate Shepherd run for two yards like they're running the ball and third and lock. So I that's I mean, they're going to run him into the ground. Like he's he better be the most durable college football player in the nation. If they're going to keep doing this. Yeah, yeah, that that covers the slate. I do want to quickly do one more plug because we have a night stone as well. So we're not just covering the main slate. We do cover the night slate. Obviously this stuff gets finalized a little bit later.
But we do have full coverage Saturday, main and night slate for college football. Obviously we have projections going out tonight. A ship at nation for the two gamer. And it's a pretty decent two gamer, some competitive looking games, some high upside guys. And I do want to quickly mention to we have the stone 2.0. Since we don't have a stone for a two game slate, the college football one is not currently active. So I'll show you NFL. I mean, this isn't finalized either, but you can build your lineups. If you want to make sure to lock Justin Jefferson in because they're in a rivalry game and he's going to go for three touchdowns on Sunday. Lock him in if you want to lock in Josh Allen, you know you want Jefferson and Allen. Then you optimize the lineup. Oh, and if you want to save this lineup, you can click that up here. You go into your save lineups is there and you can save up to 20. And then you can download an export import right into draft King. So super seamless. Everything from the stone is right in front of you in a lineup builder. So if simplicity is the name of the game, that's that's where you want to be at at ship at nation to, but like I said, the discord is great.
Obviously, I think we have the best college football team in the country and that's that's not a stranger to other sports as well. But we'll wrap things up here. Any final thoughts on the Saturdays main slate guys. Should be fun slate. Hang tight, you know, beware some news, but we should have some good matchups and some fun DFS plays. Let's have some fun this weekend. Yeah, it's probably okay if you sleep through your alarm and miss the first set of games on Saturday. I know, but yeah, that's pretty much it. Unless you remember a ship in nation, then get up and do be at the stage an hour before lock. Then you can go back to the hotel. You can go back to bed until the afternoon games, but we'll get out of here and end as we do every week with the big guy to generous 75s room number one college football is fun. Enjoy building your lineups enjoy the sweat. Be thankful that we have college football to watch on TV and we get to play daily fantasy sports college football and NFL's back big slate on Sunday.
We have a lot of things to be thankful for a lot of things to look forward to and don't take any of these days for granted. We never know when it's going to be our last and with that we'll see you in the college football streets this weekend. Let's go out and ship them for the big guy. We have a lot of things to be thankful for a lot of things to look forward to and we'll see you in the next episode.
