4:04gonna get injured or something but it feels crazy like it felt like there was a lot of lineups out there more than usual you would suspect with lock we have people with them in the captain I thought it was just crazy but I guess people don't have the faith in the quarterback sometimes what's what was your thoughts on the lock action last any any over there for you well here's the the best quarterback in the game last night right so I mean that's that's that's one thing I mean he out performed the the guy on the other side I mean Drake may look awful I mean I just don't even understand how you make that that throw at the end of the game like if you're in the NFL if you're NFL quarterback they had all that success last season like you'd think you would have learned some lessons and as soon as he he starts chucking that thing up like it's like no like you just never make that throw and that was terrible but yeah in terms of like dfs like the backup quarterback thing it's just so so funny like you know minutes into the first game of the season starting quarterback gets hurt and then you know the backup is in and you know people are gonna play it because it's one in the past and you know more so if anyone's doing that you know every single time

5:06they're clearly just donating money long term because you still have to get everything else right to go along with it but yeah I was interesting and then yeah of course I mean after our little clip yesterday about the you know the the rare rareting guy rare done steak well done steak the joke and as soon as that happened I was like man we got the perfect you got the perfect clip cute up for this and our team got that off the right away which was good to see it was a little fun back and forth and it's probably a sign of good things to come I mean the first joke of the season like the little banter back and forth we had some fun with the yesterday pays off right out of the gate and I hope everyone kind of bumped up their their rare didn't exposure after our little after our little clip of that so yeah I mean you know in terms of the game overall we talked about it for sure yesterday we're kind of had the feeling where it could be a ugly grinded out sort of game I think would have been it like that either way honestly even if Darnell didn't get hurt I think we would have had a similar game to that you know really just overall talking about the game

6:07kudos to the the sea hawks I mean it's very rare where you see it starting quarterback go down and the team still able to to rally and get the win and then they were you know their defense is phenomenal I mean just absolutely phenomenal just in I mean you kind of dunked on Drake May a little bit how poorly played but a lot of it has to do with how good I think that sea hawks defense is like they're in his face just nonstop so yeah kudos is a sea hawks they're going to be a tough out I mean sounds like Darnell's injury isn't all that serious sounds like he could be back within a couple weeks that's going to be a very very dangerous team for sure and then in terms of patriots you kind of wonder like how much of their success last year was based on that super super easy schedule because they didn't look great Drake made it not like great I will see but you know another one right back out of here tonight an absolute banger excited for this one much different than last night in terms of the fantasy outlook I mean kind of talked a little bit before like so many options in terms of guys that we think could be the highest scoring last night

12:34I'll kick it you for a second we had a conversation in Vegas maybe we don't remember it but I think it was the blackjack table other people have talked about it a bunch though about the poker tables I talk about people in mastermind like using hand histories and solvers and putting all this stuff to get like the more you can know the better but unfortunately you ain't getting to see all the hands usually right you'll get that someone shares it or streams it or whatever dfs this is sort of the new age in a different game where all the data is compiled now with these sites that you can just go and see again just get a feel how does this person play how they play a head head could be different but I'd rather have this information than none at all and so I'm just looking through it and thinking about it but what's your thoughts on being able to sort of go back and see what others are doing know a lot of people use contas flashback with sabersim as well just any thoughts on this as a whole yeah for sure I use it all the time I mean who do I think some of the best in the world a hebrachida she it's shady advice I'm going back in certain contas I think you said some important here unfortunately I don't know how I would translate a qualifier winner take all the how he's going to play I had to had it's a completely different ballgame there but like college football I just got into last year

13:37and it was very new to me and there's superflex so it's different that way so I'm going in you can deep dive in contas flat like with this or with the sabersim starter package or above oh okay shady's doing a lot of one quarterback with just one receiver okay this sharp guys doing one quarterback two receivers these guys don't run any no quarterback stacks or whatever it is so it makes it a lot easier for me to a sport that I know nothing about to just narrow down a build a roster construction wise and then take it from there what do shady do or redo do in a qualifier winner take all versus the lot over is a hundred dollar single entry all those are completely different games how much what persents to first what's the min cash how many people are in the tournament it's very important it's something that we haven't all like at least I didn't really know sources that did this three four or five years ago and now that it is available to the public I definitely recommend taking advantage there's always someone out there better than you yeah like you said for poker find inefficiencies in human beings do they three bet too much do they

15:41what the colors mean so if you sort of build your lineup out from the starting point by hand or whatever you're doing you could say well I kind of want to see who the separators are on this slate and it will show you both the captain version and the main version and you can sort of put it together that way as well so that's up and running and then of course we've got the stone which we're going to get to for today here shortly but who pa kick it over to you man same as usual let's get to this slate we've got the 49ers we've got the Rams and it's the Australia game it's the battle of travel right do you go early and stick around or do you show up 36 hours before what would you do who before you get into the grand scheme overview how would you travel I couldn't do it like the Rams are doing it that's for sure I mean I just can't imagine I get it I understand why they are doing it but like I'd have to have some time to like settle in um so I don't know if it is it is definitely interesting I guess I don't know there's so many locations in in the world like why Australia is there some reason behind it or just like yeah I just get more I mean international money they just try and get his money yeah yeah yeah once it give us money to go here and we'll take it

18:55the mindset going into it the captain position that that sort of thing like kind of said in the opening it's like there's a lot of different guys I think that have a chance to be the the highest scoring and maybe it's not a slate and I guess when there's so many guys that I think have the potential to have big games that brings in to the mix potentially some cheaper captains as well where you get in that sweet spot where there's you know four to five guys that it get 20 to 25 fantasy point no but 20 25 fantasy points nobody goes off then you need a cheaper captain to make all those guys fit in your lineup so I think that sort of builds them play to today as well just looking at ownership captain wise you know the guys that are going to be up there McCaffrey pukka for sure going to be one two and then after that I think it can be spread out quite a bit so I don't know there's a lot of ways to play this what slate I think you know captains in terms of you know who I think's going to be up top there's a lot of different guys

19:58to me it's probably a slate where I end up spreading it out a little bit you know sometimes I'll go in and and really narrow it down kind of struggle with that today so I'll most likely be be spreading it out but you know way different to me yesterday I kind of had the feeling that'll be nasty grind it out sort of game and that's what what happened I think this one could be could be a shootout to be honest so but we'll see when we go through it all yeah I'd forget already title but do you remember how it shook I did like the steam and moon mock we talked about didn't it come pretty close I think it was like 1617 or something for Ramandre and JSN I can't I can pull it up on a different screen here but just while you're going through your side of it I was just curious if you I to be honest I saw someone say 14% in chat I don't I didn't really look because at the end of the down to like maybe yeah like 15 16% somewhere in that range JSN yeah higher before that but yeah I just was noting it there but I'll let you take over your thoughts on this right now our ownership shows again this is the initials we still have multiple updates to come but we do have like who talked about pretty spread out after those four guys right even those four guys are sort

21:01of evenly distributed I don't know but and I and I do agree with whoop as well too like it's not the same as yesterday we had a lot more cheaper guys it feels like yesterday that could just make the top score or work versus today we know Terrence Ferguson yeah he's gonna be popular at 3200 or whatever in the flex when we get there but I think it's just an interesting setup otherwise so what's your thoughts on this slate title yeah I think like you mentioned the value on this slate I think so a lot more difficult or more concentrated to feel comfortable then we saw yesterday which kind of then leads me up to the captain position where I'm seeing so much concentrated ownership with McCaffery party on the nineer side and that's it no one else is above 5% and then Stafford and Puka but man there are so many other studs in this game that are showing such little ownership I mean Devante Adams is staring me right in the face he can easily go eight for 102 touchdowns we know all of his goal line work last year Kyron Williams 5% at captain obviously with Blake Korn waga to shortly a little concern it's not going to be like we saw Steven Sin just get most of the work

22:06yesterday it's not going to be that situation at all but he's favorite score touchdown it's a 48 nap total he's a starting running back at 5% at captain just seems crazy to me Blake Korn himself at 4600 value is tough on this slate like we mentioned I think the two clear ones sub 5k obviously kickers and defenses will be played but it's Ferguson and it's Blake Korn and I am fine playing either of them at the captain spot now when you do so don't just zero out your salary we talk about it a lot just because you're playing a 3% on Blake Korn at captain doesn't mean that's the only thing you got to get different because all of those other 3% teams are going to have very similar roster construction but I could see Blake Korn 60 yards on the ground in the touchdown or something and if he is close enough to these top end guys or the top end guys smash and you need value at or value at captain to then spend up elsewhere instead of punt in the flex I think it is viable and then going to the 9ers side I'm just looking at the wider receiver room it's a clear 3 and

23:06Evans Dibo and Stribbling 4% Mike 1% Dibo less than 1% Stribbling like I find taking a chance on all of those guys in a vacuum it does feel they are a little over price when you're looking at projection and how close they are to the quarterbacks to McCaffrey obviously Pukas in a little on tier but all I'm seeing is Evans is a stud Devote is a stud Stribbling who knows Dibo who knows Kyron Corum all of these guys at potential the score or to get over 100 yards on the ground or through the air and two touchdowns and no one's playing them so because I struggle to get different a little below that's kind of what I'm looking at am I going to X McCaffrey Pukas and all that no of course I'll have some but I do think the ownership my thought right now is like the quarterbacks I like the least McCaffrey and Pukas it's really hard for me not to get much of them but I think where I'm going to get ownership to those secondary guys is going to come mainly from the quarterbacks I think that's how I'm thinking about it too who about come to you in a second on the on just other captain thoughts because you kind of gave the grand scheme but we'll let you chime in on your favorites and thoughts but I'm going to echo a couple of things the title said one would

24:10be just looking at it you know to Hoops Point earlier saying he could spread it out I agree to more so because of what title just said for me of like yeah when you got atoms and Evans and all these other dudes at five six percent even if they do steam a little bit it's like you can have 12 to 15 of them and where's it coming from of course it's coming from Pukas and CMC and whatever else might be but for me I'm not too worried about that because I'll have those lineups in their own way and build them accordingly that JS N lineup had earlier we talk pre-show about Hoopin Hoopin I were talking pre-show I didn't have Darnal in it but it was I was playing to the GameScript that Hoopin I talked about on the show entitled chimed in as well but we're like what if it just plays lower scoring slug slug fast back and forth I couldn't get Darnal in there if I wanted it there's no way I can predict the injury but I had JS N just highest score out of everybody still got my guy Giddrian price in there got the guys on the other side with May and Ram and all those guys Ramondray was in there so it's like I kind of got what I wanted but it had the Patriots and no Darnal it worked out like it made sense on paper too so you got to go with your GameScript

25:11but because of that title that's kind of my thoughts to yours of like how I'd have to be under on McCaffrey and Nukuah to make that work and I'm probably okay with that Hoopin I'll kick it to you though what do you think with these captains up top and then specifically the quarterback because both of us really aren't too high on it what do you think of it the quarterbacks and then the rest of these captain position yeah kind of now immediately reverse my thoughts at captains I don't think I'll be as spread out as I initially thought I just think there is some holes in some of these guys I mean Pukka and McCaffrey yeah absolutely for sure and one thing I will say I think some of these guys and there'll be adjustments are going to be high like I just can't imagine like Kyron Williams is going to be 5% I can't imagine Devon Tez is going to be 5% like I think they come up a little bit and maybe like the quarterbacks come down a little bit and that gap closes between the two and maybe not but that's just kind of my initial thought I just don't think Kyron and Devon Tez will be that low so going back to Christian and Pukka definitely in on them I don't

26:13really like Matthew Stafford I kept him I think he's better on maybe like Fandall or something I do think he has a good game here I think he's great but the problem with Stafford especially on like the the full PPR sites such as Dreckings if he has a big game to me either Pukka or Devon Tez are going to be needed over him like it's usually one of those two go off it's hard for him to fully spread it out without really a wide receiver three he does have these tight ends which will get to later but to me I don't love him on DK in that captain spot I like Purdy more than him I'm fine playing Purdy just because I do think there's a path for him to really spread it out and many throws it to McCaffrey a lot he got Mike Evans you have Kiddell you have Debo you have struggling there's so many guys where I think he does have the chance to potentially spread it out a little bit don't really love like the Mike Evans stuff I don't really love Kiddell I mean I know he's playing tonight off the injury I just don't necessarily think those guys are going to have their full complement of plays right out of the gate so it's going to make it hard for me to

27:17envision them being necessarily needed up top I do I'm fine taking chances on a guy like you know Debo at what we have him at the ownership on Debo I'll pull that up are you talking about a captain captain yeah yeah we got him yeah just yeah so it's like you play a little bit you're right there with the field scribbling I thought like if you did Best Ball I know it titled it a lot of it like scribbling was like the the Best Ball sweetheart this year like people were loving this guy taking them super high I thought for sure like you have some ownership at captain tonight for that reason because a lot of the Best Ball bros are also in these uh uh showed on streets as well or are they huh yeah maybe that maybe it's maybe it is very telling that they're not in these streets because no ownership on him and I think he's a great play if he's going to be like one percent I mean this guy was legit in the preseason I don't know I'd take a chance there so just to kind of summarize

28:23everything I guess you know it's CMC and Puka for sure I'm good with Purdy I like Kairin I like Devonte and then like Debo and Stribbling and that's probably my pool at the captain position not a ton of interest in Stafford like I'm better on FanDuel up top opposed to DK not a ton interest in Mike Evans Kiddell like Korma I think Blake Korma isn't elite flux play today which we'll talk about when we get there I just don't know the ceiling on him it's like he's got to score two touchdowns and I just don't really necessarily want to bank on that right out of the gate and then like some deep flyers you know Ferguson Parkinson I think two touchdown upside and you're probably going to need the two touchdowns they're not volume guys they're going to need two out of them I think it's somewhat possible so um that's kind of where I'm at uh captain wise yeah and we'll see what happens here with this like uh go collect says the mass is going to go to Puka I think one thing I can just say from you know who broke it down really well there to me I just see it I don't see McAfry going anywhere but potentially maybe even maybe even a little higher I see Puka crossing

29:2520 I see both quarterbacks coming down some I see Williams and Devonte going up some and then after that I think it kind of is correct so that's the one thing too that is it's definitely for sure and we've seen it with a lot of people using Sims and stuff like that when you when you use Sims it tends to spread things out quite a bit get you a portfolio get you some exposure and I think we're seeing captain ownership get spread out more than we have in the past and I think we really saw that last year where it just gets spread out so almost to me like quarterbacks on the main slate we always talk about uh quarterback ownership on the main slate it always gets spread out it's very rare for somebody to be super highly owned at quarterbacks that's where well for the most part you know I'll always say this and you guys do as well like play who you like at the quarterback position don't let ownership really come into to factor all that much for you because it typically gets spread out started to see that more at the captain position on the showdown
