Like I they could have done this a little better. Overall, though, I love the way the Hawks played this game. Yeah, as we've been talking about really since counterbordered or went down, simplifying it straight

2:03forward when the shots there take it. I think in the second period there were a few instances where they were maybe trying to do too much. But for the most part through 60 minutes, very even game. And you know, the shootout is unsatisfying when you lose it, very satisfying when you win it. And that's what I mean, for a game this even, I think it's it's only fair that it went to the shootout. Yeah. Yeah. I think, you know, we talked in the pregame show about taking the blueprint from the previous game and the win over the stars. The you know, the second half of the game against the Islanders, the shootout win over the stars. Yeah. Two different stars games I'm referencing. And they beat them twice. And they I feel like they did their best to replicate that tonight. They got off to a fast start score on the first shot of the game. That's a good recipe. Open the game. But yeah, I mean, they they were able to you know, stick with this capitals team. And I think top to bottom, like there really wasn't a guy

3:04tonight that I'm looking at their game and being like, ah, wasn't great. I think each guy played a good role game. And then, you know, you had goals from Denado, uh, coming from, uh, Mikaev's shot. He tips it in. Gets the goal. You get a great goal on the power play from, uh, Table Terrovinen, who we've been agonizing to get to shoot more. And I think he's I think he's three goals and three green out. Like, hey, scoring goals is pretty fun. Uh, I should do it more often. And it's and it's working for him. And then yeah, you know, you you you fight through the third period, some scramble moments, um, you get in the overtime and again, like not really a great attacking mentality when they have the puck in overtime. But again, you don't feel terrible about that because you come away with two points in the shootout win and the way that they did it in the shootout. Um, this is just very funny. If you so if you were paying attention to the hawks,

4:05over the last few days, they had, uh, some Mikawish families at Morins skate a couple of days ago. And as part of that, uh, two of the kids that were there, um, got to go on the ice after Morins skate with the hawks and they had them skate around with the players and they ended up doing where the two kids picked teams for a friendly shootout. And the guys used in the shootout were, uh, some of them, I don't remember all of them, but some of them were all for more already election of, um, Louis crevier and Nick Filino. And crevier, we've been teased is going to get shootout opportunities because of the goal he scored the other day and a couple of moves he's made in practice and lo and behold, he had the game on his stick at one point and made a nice move just, you know, wasn't able to to get it to go. And then Nick Filino, who since he scored in that morning skate shootout has been kind of lobbying for, hey, put me in the shootout, put me in the

5:08shootout, you know, tongue and cheek. But then he gets in the shootout and scores, check this, according to Charlie Ramelli Otis, his first ever NHL shootout goal. He was old for 13 coming into tonight's attempt and he gets the winner. How about that? That's crazy. And it's just, it was just a fun night in crevier for a guy that being, he's got a little more skill than I think he lets on and we've seen it this year and you said it during the game. It's like the one guy on the blue line that is not afraid to shoot if the opportunity is there he's going to take it, but he's like me when I play hockey and beer like I was like, why not? I was like, well, there's no one in front of me. I might as well try and shoot exactly. But we saw him get the, was it a short hand break away? Yeah, he scored it. Yeah, and just like really nice, really confident with the puck. You know, it doesn't over complicate things. You know, he's not trying to do a Pavel Barber pick up the puck off the ice and spin around and do that sort of thing, which is probably smart. But I just, I just really like the confidence of team play with and there's a couple of things that I

6:10noticed during this game where in overtime or maybe it was right before overtime, they show the Hawks bench and Louis crevier is laughing with Jeff Blaschle Mike Peckas rubbing Louis crevier shoulders like they're not tight. They're not a stressed out team. And then even crevier doesn't score any get back to the bench. Meck risk is kind of laughing that even got the opportunity and you could, you could say like, well, look, they're playing with house money. No one expects them to beat the caps. But our days are out. They're not going to go anywhere. They've got points in four of the last five games and they're, they're playing competitive and it's not like, you know, over the last few years, there'd be wins where you'd say, like, boy, they were no business winning that game. And they just had more go in than the other team, right? That's not been the case. They have hung right there with Dallas twice. The caps who have been on a bit of a free fall here, but are a good team. Still, I believe in a playout spot. That's a pull. Yes. We're getting a point tonight. They still are. Yeah. The islanders are way better than anyone recognizes. It's just, you know,

7:13they're playing and they're right there or even outplaying those teams. So it's not smoke and mirrors what this team is doing. And I think that's why when you start to think about the dart coming back and knees are coming back and what it could look like when they do, if this is, if it remains the same, if the mentality remains the same, and that will be a challenge because when you get guys back with that much ability, ability, you are naturally inclined to get them the puck and force it to them. Just keep doing what you're doing and you're going to get results. Yeah. I think that's going to be a challenge when the dart and knees are come back is not having anybody, rookies or veterans, just be like, oh, they're back. I'm going to give them their space back. Let me, you know, fall back to the to the shadows. You want those guys like, like Oliver Moore and Lardis and Green and Bertuzzi and like those veterans terrifying it. Like keep taking up that space that you were while they're gone because it's not like there's a

8:16limited amount of who can do what on the team. Like you, you all can try and create offense and score goals and stuff. I know rules change as, as other players come in and out of the lineup, but still have that mentality of like, I can, I can make things happen too. Because then when Naysar and Bidard are, are back and you have more of those guys with that mentality, like they'll be able to kind of feed off of each other and, and be able to hopefully you get more of those guys contributing offensively and it's not just kind of Bidard 50% of the offense has to run through him. You can have other guys jump in and, and that'll, I mean, honestly, when Bidard gets back, that'll help him to to not have so much on his shoulders. Like even though he's been doing fine with it up until, you know, he got hurt, like, to be able to say, like, hey, like you're playing at a hundred point pace, but we're also going to, you know, pick up some of the slack. Like that's going to be good for everybody. And then that can lead to better results. Yeah, it's, it's, it's

9:17exciting to think about when it's all put together, what it could be. And look, we don't want to get over our skis here. And we're not trying to sell you some sort of false hope that this team is going to make a playoff run or anything like that this year. But when you look at the last week of Black Hawks hockey land, you've got this team getting points in four or five. You've got the Black Hawks playing in the World Junior Championships. Absolutely stealing the show. In different ways, Anton Frandel put up a ton of points. Vaclav Necesil scoring highlight reel, no look goals, no look passes, making himself very noticeable. AJ Spellis he going from a guy who is nearly cut from Team USA to being put in valuable roles while they were still in a tournament. Like those three guys have stood out as not just from, hey, like Chicago media saying, here's three Hawks guys that are doing something. The people that are covering the World Junior Championships without ties to Chicago are all focused on those guys. So you've got that. You've got what's happening on the ice here. And now you've got videos for Mandy Hawking,

10:19Hawks practice filming counterbordard back on the ice shooting the puck. And four weeks for Frank Neesar, we are two weeks today. Today is a two week mark. So if you could get Bordard and Neesar back within the next two weeks, which seems like a very realistic possibility. And just I think all you kind of hope for during this injury period was for the Hawks to just not completely fall apart and lose every game or like, you know, when 10 of the 15 or whatever it's going to be, they've done more than that. They've kept themselves in it. They've kept themselves in the conversation and they've kept themselves in striking distance of a playoff spot. Yeah, it's been positive. It's been not what I would have expected from this group. I think it was trying to remember. I think it was after. So it was the game. Neesar got hurt. The Ottawa game, right? We were just kind of talking about that. I think it was the. So we were

11:21watching the game here at the office because it was a road game. And they flashed up the upcoming schedule, right? And it said flyers, stars, penguins, islanders, stars, capitals, so on and so forth, right? And I remember. And I think we talked about it that night too. But I remember I remember saying to you, I was like, I don't without Bordard the way that they'd been playing. And now you lose Neesar, I was looking at the schedule. I'm like, I don't know if they win a game. Like between that point and like tonight, you know, looking at it and then, you know, include tomorrow's game against Vegas too. I was looking at that schedule and be like, I don't, I don't see them winning a game. And here they are with three. Like that's definitely above at least obviously my expectations. But I think if you said, if you had said at that point, you don't have Bordard, you don't have Neesar. Like you, I think you would have chalked up. Like, yeah, these are going to be some losses. And what's great about this group is that they didn't just fall into that trap. And I think, and I think it was Lord Hosea mentioned it earlier in the chat.

12:27Getting Nick Filino back. I think makes a big difference for this group. Mentally, I think having him, having him around on the ice practices, being in the locker room, in game, like even when he's been hurt, he's still around the team. But it's different when you're just around the team to when you're actually involved in playing and practicing like with quote unquote, with the boys and everything. Like that makes a big difference. And I'm not going to say like, oh, these wins are because Nick Filino is back. But it definitely changes the mood and can add to a better vibe. And as you were saying, like the guys being able to kind of like feel loose and stuff. Like I think having those guys that are in that that have that impact on the locker room. Just for the through the mood and the vibes and the mentality of the team. Like that makes a big difference. I know it's apples and oranges because we're talking baseball and hockey. But I think a lot of times sports fans in general just kind of fall into the trap of, well, this guy is better

13:32than this guy. So clearly this guy who is not as good isn't as important. And I think you'll look at Nick Filino. He's 38 years old. He's not the player he used to be offensively. But we're thinking. I think dare you say that. I know exactly. Think back, though, to the 2016 World Series. Remember that that was a good time. I do remember. Um, and Anthony Rizzo, the captain, the leader of the Cubs is beside himself. And he looks over to David Ross, the crossy old veteran who's been there before and says, I don't know what to do. I'm in a glass case of emotion. Help me through this. And David Russ says, all you can do is breathe through it. Just focus like focus moment to moment. Yeah. Like again, we look for this all the time as sports commenters, of course. But to have a guy there who not only has been through high intensity playoff runs, all these things that Nick Filino has been through, there's nothing in the game he hasn't seen. So when you need a good, when you need to win a shift, you tap Filino's line to go out there and win the shift. And to win

14:34the shift means we've been pinned deep for the last three. We're going to take this defensive zone face off. We're going to win it. And we're going to get the puck back in the offensive zone and get a whistle. So we have another face off in the offensive zone. It's that simple. Those little wins. When Nick Filino's on the ice, it feels like more often than not when they're out there, the result is good, positive, right? It's very rare. You see him and his guy is getting just completely pinned deep forever and ever and ever where they can't cycle it out. Does it happen? Of course, it happens to everybody. But just having the knowledge, having the ability to not panic, know where the play is at all times and just calm things down on and off the ice, it goes such a long way. And I don't think any even the most, you know, a rigid Nick Filino hater because I know there's a portion of the fan base. It doesn't like him because he's always talking. He's the captain and a veteran, but whatever. He didn't hate him if you want. You can no longer deny his impact on this team. Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's it's one of those things

15:40that you say it's immeasurable. But then there's nights and stretches like this where you're like the guys you're without. You bring him back in and things seem to kind of have a difference of the of, you know, the result and the feeling around things. It's it's yeah, it's it's definitely a positive impact to have him around. 19:57that. This is another game, by the way. Notice it, especially in the second and third period, Art and Leshinov for the third game in a row. Just really noticeable, really making things happen. Had the most Art and Leshinov shift of all time. Where he was just whoo, circling around, cycling the puck, looked like he might turn it over once or twice, but didn't end of the day. He leads the Hawks in ice time again, 2346, two shots, six shot attempts, two takeaways, two block shots, also tagged with two giveaways. But that's, I mean, we have now seen for the better part of what's always been like four or five games where he started to play like this, at least three, where he's been extremely noticeable in the positive way for Art and Leshinov. That development, I don't know what happened. I don't know what his sort of flip the switch here. We talked the other day about potentially being scratched after missing or, you know, being laid

21:01for practice. I don't know what it was. But what Blastel has said about Leshinov lately is, this is what we've wanted to see from him. And he's finally doing it. He's finally attacking. He's finally trying to take over shifts and take over games. And it's just been, it's been really, for if nothing else, entertaining as hell. Yeah. I mean, it's, it's where you want him to be is game over game, uh, making improvements. And it's, it's not, uh, we've talked about this a bunch, but it's not a linear path of straight up, right? You know, generational star or whatever, like that. Like it's, it's going to take some time. There's going to be bumps in the road. And with Leshinov, like, I think though, I think it's interesting. I was, um, having a conversation during morning skate, uh, I think two games ago. Wasn't the same game with Fulino and the shootout. It would have been two games ago.

22:03So having a conversation and the topic of, you know, young defenseman had come up and, you know, talking about Lev Shinov and Korkinsky and Don Mashron Allen and all those guys. And coming away from, from that conversation with this person that I was talking with, it really felt like there is a strong belief in Art and Lev Shinov, the development that he's shown, what he's been doing at the NHL level and what he can become and just really seeing it and believing in it and knowing, like, oh, like it's there. It's just getting to unlock it. And with a guy like Kevin Korkinsky, it feels like that sense is not as strong. And that's why I think when, when, when we see people, you know, talking about Lev Shinov and highlighting his mistakes, it's just like, well, yeah, that's, that happens with a 19, 20-year-old defenseman.

23:05But you also, you take the good with the bat. Jeff Blaschela has said that. You take the good with the bat with, with Lev Shinov at this stage because the goal is to make the good outweigh the bat. Right. And I think game after game, you're starting to see that start to roll over. And, and I think as he has more of these games where that positive impact gets highlighted and it has more of an impact than negative things. And that boosts his confidence. And that's what you want to see from a young defenseman. Would it be great if he was running parallel with Matthew Schaeffer and was putting up, you know, a bunch of points and all that stuff? Sure. Yeah. He still, he still is doing pretty good as far as rookies go for, you know, defenseman and putting up points and everything and having the impact. But I think it's, it's those small details that he's starting to kind of figure out little by little. And those, you know, grab your chest shifts with Lev Shinov are becoming less and less. Or if they do happen, they're ending with something positive rather than something negative.

24:10So I think he's having more of those games. And it's just, it's just going to continue to grow in the more experience he gets. Just the, the battery is going to be and it's, it's not an overnight thing, but he's definitely getting a lot of those opportunities. And I think it's because he's showing the organization, he's showing the coaching staff more examples of like, this is why we're giving it to you and you're earning more. Lev Shinov is sixth in rookies scoring. Demidov leader with 35 points and 41 games. Beckett Seneca with 31 points and 41. Schaefer with 28 and 42. Leonard 22 and 34. Capin and 21 and 41 and Lev Shinov with 19 and 38. Second among defenseman. And Matthew Schaefer, who has had a, I mean, historic start to his rookie season. 28 points and 42 games. Four more games in Lev Shinov. Talk about nine more points. Talk about Bidad being an Olympic snub. There's a case for Matthew

25:13Schaefer being absolutely snub too. Yeah. I mean, the kids unbelievable. And it's, he's also like Matthew Schaefer is quickly like 2350 is his average time on ice. The owner of this like, here you go, kid. It is your 18 years old. Yeah. He's unbelievable. Yeah. But Lev Shinov is right there. He's right there. And if you consider goal post hit and look, everybody, everybody, I'm sure Demidov has hit a series of goal posts. The cabs have hit a bunch tonight too. Yes. Of course. They all do that. But you are clearly points left on the board that Lev Shinov has not picked up. But if he keeps playing, he's been playing over the last week or so, they're going to come. Like he's been, he's been really terrific. I love what I see. And he has that drive. I mean, look at the goals that he could have had that just missed. He's, you know, slam in his stick and he's showing his frustration, which, you know, young guys, you do that. Jeff Blaschle doesn't want the first frustrations to boil over for those guys. But at least you see like,

26:17he knows he's right there. He knows that he's, I missed some, I missed one. And he doesn't want to, you know, repeat that. So that's what you want to see. You don't want to see a guy, you know, I guess when you have those kinds of emotions, you don't want to see a negative body language response. Like if you're just like a slump shoulders head down like, you know, what was me, he's more like, you know, that more emphatic like, come on, I can do better. Yeah. And you go out and you want him. And he has motivation to go out and, you know, score that next time. So, yeah, I just, I think his development is getting better. And I think too, we talk about like, please be a little bit more urgent in his game. I think we're starting to see a little bit of that. Like it's not as urgent as I'd like. I think the overtime power play would have liked him to shoot one or two times. But it's not as, it's not as a, a loof as it was at the beginning of the year.

27:18Well, that's what Cloud says. Like, dude, that's such a lexat asical skating style, but it works. I don't know if he's, maybe he's just efficient. I, I'm not seeing him get caught flat-footed. Like, there's been a couple times where a pucker's bounced past him and he's had to get on his horse to get it. But I just think there's not a lot of wasted motion with this skating. I think, you know, you see, they talk a lot about it with Oliver Moore, who is playing at a 100% intensity all the time. And it's great. And we're going to highlight him later on in the show too, because he deserves it. But sometimes it's, it's about, especially for a defenseman to kind of, you've got to reserve your, you've got to lead the team in ice. Yeah, if you're 20, right. Like you, you've got to kind of reserve your energy a little bit. And I think if he's able to get where he needs to get without having to, you know, fully, you know, crank the legs at 100% all the time, that's totally fine. I just think that, I think that Lev Shum has the ability and the speed and the acceleration to, if he puts himself in trouble or someone else puts

28:18him in trouble, he's got the speed to get back. He just doesn't have to use it all the time. You know, I get, you know, the, the expressions and the face and it all looks kind of, you know, I guess like nonchalant might be the word or looks like he's not hustling, but I don't, I never, I very rarely have I seen him where I say, oh boy, he just quit on that play. Yeah. Or he just didn't put, didn't put the effort forth to get over there. Well, and he's, you know, he's a powerful kid too. He's 20 years old and he's, you know, he's not physically matured yet, but he's, you know, you definitely see the frame and everything that's, that's there. You know, it's what, who, who was it back in the day? Erick Dickerson for all your kids out there. Yeah. He's a great running back back in the day. Rex backs. He was a guy that they, you know, people would say like he's not running hard enough. It's like, well, no, he was just a powerful, long, striped guy. He didn't look like he was chugging, but no one could catch him. Right. Or he would just run. He said, Ryan

29:19Samber doesn't dive thing. Right. Yeah. He doesn't have to. So I think with, I think with Lev Shinov, it might not look like he's, you know, looking like I'll over more in the effort he's giving, but that's his 100%. And he makes it work because of how, you know, each guy plays different styles. Each guy has different strengths. I think he's playing into it. And if he would, if, if Lardus is out there, Lev Shinov was out there looking like he was over trying, then I think we'd have some issues. Yeah, you don't want that. Yeah, you don't want to get out of the fence. He's doing way too much. And clearly you're doing way too much. Right. You're going to go, it leads to a lot more mistakes. All right. And, um, you know, I just like the way we competed and and like you said, just kind of built on our game and, and you know, it's it's important for us to find ways to to be that team and

34:27and consistently bring that every night. I thought just to compete in the end that that kind of mindset was was huge for us. And, um, you know, a lot of guys stepped up and and yeah, it's fun. It's fun when you play like that in a rink like this that has a lot of like jam sometimes and, um, you know, so I think our guys handled it themselves really well. I think it's huge. I think it's huge. I think it's just I like I said to you guys like it's there's a there's a real care in this room, you know, and so it sucks when you know you're going through some and listen, I don't know how many teams can really handle losing some of their best players and especially up the middle. It kind of throws your your team off balance for a little bit and I think we've started to bounce ourselves again and and realize how we need to play and and get to that identity. And I think our identities actually been pretty good for the last little bit. It's just now we're getting rewarded for it. And, um, these are hard fought wins. We kind of knew that we're not going to outscore teams by seven without those two guys in the lineup. But, um, you know, we have enough skill and you see plays that turbo makes and Bert and Bert and Bert Berkowski and, uh, even greener and the guys are finding ways to make plays at right

And, you know, it wasn't necessarily like we're building an identity with Taylor Hall and Taylor radish and Andre. It was, that wasn't, that wasn't the guys that you're like, this is who we're building it for. At that time, it was bedard and then it was bedard and Nazar and classic and the, and as, as these young guys have come in, you want to have

36:32that culture and identity be the atmosphere so that these guys can step in, know what's expected and be able to execute in the style that you want them to. And that's what we've seen this season. This season, we're seeing a lot more of that identity and culture on the ice than it was just a talking point. Every now and again, it jumps back into my feet or maybe I'm just going through my old social media and finding it again, that Utah game right before the Seth Jones trade, where they gave up 95 shot of 10 to the Utah freaking hockey club. I even caught myself. I've heard it so many times. It's the only last two to one. And we said, and the, the topic had been identity identity identity. And we said after the game, your identity is that you suck and that you don't try hard enough and that you don't seem to care and that you're not coachable. That was the identity. And so while it was tiresome to hear Nick talking about it all the time, he was seeing what we were seeing and what you the viewer were seeing and saying after the game is like,

37:33how can you excuse this? And I think that we had frustrations the last few years like, yes, we knew the rebuild was going to be hard. I think everyone agrees that last year's team under achieved. I don't think there's any doubt about it. That that roster, especially with Seth Jones and with Taylor Hall before they ship those guys out, like that team was not as like think you think to last think of the winter classic last year and how you felt after that game. And how Taylor Hall is almost in tears after that game. And Nick Fuehner was livid after that game. Like that was just it was an embarrassment. Yeah, it was an embarrassment. And nothing changed after it. Nothing changed. It was the same old same old. And you get Jeff Flash on here from day one. And maybe we talk about it too much. Maybe it's the same show over and over again. It's people like to point out in a chat. You know, but from day one drill one, it was go. There is no easy into anything. There's no feeling out period for the team on the ice. It is

38:34you're here. You're working. And you can stop working when you leave here. And that's what it's going to be. And for the vast majority of the season, whether the Hawks win the game, lose the game, the effort has been there. Sometimes the execution is lacking. Sometimes the individual performances are lacking. But the effort has been there most of the time. And now they've got enough talent. When they're playing with talent and effort, they're tough to beat. This is a tough team to beat most nights. I mean, we've seen this team run with some good teams and beat some good teams. Yeah, I mean, when they when they are locked in, they execute, they play the style that they want to play, it's you're not going to dictate every game 82 games a year, right? It's just unattainable. But when you don't just let games come to you and be on your heels 24

39:34seven, like they can they can push some teams and they and we've seen them, you know, have some some big wins this year. And we've seen them play tight and beat teams that they shouldn't or on paper shouldn't. So I mean, it's proof. It's times where, you know, they put good efforts down on game film and Jeff Blaschle can go back and, you know, show them, you know, hey, this is how you defended Miko Ranton. And this is how you defended against, you know, the Colorado avalanche. And it's, it's just affirming like it, you play in this system, you give this effort, you, you have these attentions to detail, you play the style, you're going to, you're going to get rewarded. It might not be the most fun style of hockey at times. But last I checked, winning is fun. So if you play a style that wins, you're eventually going to have some fun. I still have a little bit of PTSD from the last few years because

40:35two one lead in the third. You would almost expect the hawks to sit back and just hopefully they hang on before the other team ties that are wins are the bus and just, yeah, just held. The third period tonight was their best at five on five. 21 shot attempts to 14 against. That's a 60% coursey. Seven to five scoring chances for high danger chances were tied to they were the best, they had their best period of the game in the third period, defending a two in lead, then trying to win a two to game. And instead of saying, we got to hold onto this lead or oh, no, we just blew a lead. Now we just, we can't lose, we can't lose, we can't lose. They kept trying to win. They kept trying to take it to the cap. And that's what you want to see. Yeah, you want, you want them to try and push. And look, like even if they're, they've got advantages in analytics and they still come out in that third period, outscored one to nothing and you go to overtime, it didn't, they didn't crumble after that.

41:39Hawks teams of years past, recent years past, would have had a two one lead in the third, then give up the tire, then give up the three to goal, pull the goal and you lose four two. Like that, that had a very high percentage chance of happening in that scenario, but they were able to keep pushing and even in the, you know, into the overtime, when they did get some offensive zone time, when they did play with a little bit of an attacking mindset, you got a power play out of it and you had an opportunity in the last 50 plus seconds to find a winner. Now you got to shoot on those power plays, but baby steps. You don't get the pride to say that's why. No, no, however, can you play at four on three without practicing? And that's not a shot at Dernfang. It's a, that's just funny. It's yeah. Yeah, I think, you know, this, this, this kind of game, this kind of result can, can grow confidence and again, a big credit also goes to Spencer night.

42:41Like he had some moments tonight where he bailed out, you know, he, he was a huge on the penalty kill at times. Yeah, I just, I just think this was a, a win that you can chalk up to the category of like team win, like guys played in their roles, the right guys that you want to step up did and you come away with a, with a, with a win. Again, it's shoot out, you know, becomes a skull competition, but as we said before, it's better to win a shoot out than to lose it. Well, it's funny. You say it's even better because I was looking at this, uh, earlier in the show, only two hawks did not have a shot on gold tonight. And I think he's got to point where he is like, I'm just going to go and see what happens and good for him. You talk this morning about getting more ozone time the same for the first two period, especially you guys. Yeah, I liked, you know, again, I think we've done a pretty good job and a consistent pace of being on the higher side of that. And I liked what we did in the first two. I thought the first period would a lot of like kind of zone time where we're grinding them in. I thought the second we had that, but we also did a really good job. I thought of like track gap transition, like denying them out of their zone, denying them in entries and enable the transition. So I was happy with both those phases. How do you get to teach a guy to finish? Well, I don't know that you can necessarily. And some of that's just confidence too. You know, so I think even the very best scores in the world, their confidence is ebbs and flows in my experience. It's just the reality of it. And you know, right now he's kind of a little snake, but he's got opportunities to score that he hasn't. And so they kind of, you just kind of start feeling that pressure a little bit. And so he's just got to stay with it and keep, again, this is coach speak, but stay process oriented. If he does the right things and he's in the right spots, he'll keep getting chances. They find ways to go in. Putting more out for the opening draw it over time. And then for that, he's drawn one like two. Do you want to just, you know, contested try out my fire situation? Yeah, you know, we're at a spot where we're at, you know, obviously missing some guys. And, you know, ultimately, I think those guys have opportunities to be good three on three players. And you don't know unless you try them. And, you know, and I thought that actually more as he had on himself really good in both those situations. And again,

48:50it's one of those things where, you know, I think they have the skill sets to be good three him. Lard is green. And unless you give him some of those experiences, you won't know. Maybe Mikaev gets moved down to a fourth line role and where it's slaggered it's at right now and plays that style and plays if like, if you want Nick Lardis to say, like, hey, we want you to create more offense jump in and have that opportunity. Mikaev, you know, is, yeah, he scored 20 goals last season, but that's not his M.O. Like, if you, if Mikaev falls down the lineup and is more of that speed guy, that defensive guy, the PK guy, without being tasked with like, hey, could you also give us a little bit more offense? That role fits him better. And the Nick Lardis, like, hey, go be an offensive creator role fits him better. So I don't know, I just, I think with Bedard and Nazar back, you want to, as we talked with the Olympics, like, put your best line about there. I don't see a spot right now where Nick Lardis, where this team is better without Nick Lardis. I don't see it right now either. It's, it's, it's going to be a tough call. Because like I said, like,
