Betachan Flaif Sheer 1670, Erev Shabis Kaidash, Parshas Vayikhi. Today's Sheer has been generously spancered as a sikhos for Yeshuaes. The sikhos of Lima Rata'ian Chizik of all the listeners, Shabbaezuashem send them Yeshuaes and Hatslachis, Lairachyam Taybim. There's an important thing that we have to keep in mind when we work on various levels of Betachan. We're discussing Rikoye, but it applies to many other levels of Betachan. Not always is a person zehe to get the Yeshua that he wants. Of course it depends on the person's level of Betachan, the higher the level, the more a person will be zehe to the Yeshua like we explain many times. But let's say a person was Mechak for something, or Mechak for something, or had Techales, anticipation for something, and he wasn't zehe to the Yeshua.
And it can be highly frustrating. A person put in a lot of effort and didn't see the Yeshua. So there's a very important Rebe'in Uyayinah. We mentioned it once briefly. We just want to speak it out. Rebe'in Uyayinah is in Mishle, in Paragyud, Posikhavras. And he says something very important. The Posikh says Techales, Sadikim Semchah. The anticipation of Sadikim is Semchah, brings Semchah. And Rebe'in Uyayinah explains what does it mean that the Sadikim have Semchah from their Techales? So the first Pshat that he says is a concept that we mentioned many times, that the Betachan itself is the relationship with Akadishbhah. And therefore they simply enjoy the fact that they experienced Techales. Even if they didn't see the Yeshua, but the fact that they were working on feeling Techales,
He's talking about Techales, but his point is any level of Betachan. The fact that they put in the effort to feel the Betachan that they felt, that itself gives them Semchah. And that itself is a very important idea, even before we get to the Pshat, that we want to get to. Our person has to realize that Betachan is Avalidesashem. And that Sadik appreciates the opportunity to serve Akadishbhah. You do a mitzvah. And for whatever reason, it wasn't enjoyable. It was hard. A person fasted on him. Kippur was very hard. But the bottom line is, he feels a Semchah that he was very good to serve Akadishbhah. Of course, it was hard, but he's happy that he had the opportunity. When you put in the effort to feel Betachan, you shouldn't feel let down if you don't see the Yeshua. You should realize that the Betachan itself was a tremendous Avalidesakadishbhah like any other mitzvah. And perhaps even greater than other mitzvahs, that's a discussion in itself.
But it's for sure on par with any other mitzvah. And therefore, appreciate the effort that you put in, especially if it was difficult. Especially if you didn't see the Yeshua. Simply because you are Zaykhah to fulfill Avalidesashem in such a high manner.
