This is Jorva! Chevy is called the heartbeat of America for a reason, and Silverado keeps its rhythm. You feel it in the Turbo Max engine with Best in Class Standard torque, and available Z71 off-road packets that keeps you rolling when the road turns rough. And the most functional truck bed with Best in Class Cargo space, they're trucks that work as hard as you do, so you can do more of what you love without missing a beat. See your Bay Area Chevy dealer today. Based on latest competitive information, it excludes other GM vehicles. You've found Dirty Work with Adam Copeland and Derek Papa, where no job is too dirty on KNBR, the sports leader. Dirty Work on a Tuesday afternoon, Adam Copeland, D-Pop, D-Any, done hanging out with you. We got Giants pregame tonight at 545 for it, 645, first pitch to Giants and the Cardinals from Oracle Park. We'll be there for one more time this year, I believe, right? Yes.

Friday the 25th, trying to the Dodgers. Last series of the season. Can't hold anything back now. We'll be out there at 58 social on Friday the 25th, but Giants are home for the rest of this week and into the weekend, and the three game series against the Padres starting on Friday at 715, but we do have a game tonight, 645. All right. We found it on the other Bart tracks, held up the tracks and had to single track me back to Powell before I did the game. I was going to go down some way. Yeah. They called me, they were like, just belonged to anybody else. Like, actually, it's mine right here. Anyway, it's a big ol' potato sack where you think it's got two words, it's got an acronym and then two words. What it says is NBA Grab Back. Time out for the NBA Grab Back. NBA Grab Back. What's up, Pimps? It's time for your NBA Grab Back. That's what's, that's him for you to do it, and we got here, and we got him. Stop, Pimps. He didn't call me Pimps, actually. Wait, he didn't really? No, no, no. He just made me look back. Yeah, I know. You made me look back for the win. You're the John London. How dare you? You're not cool, I try to be around here. I know, he's the coolest. He's great. He used to be a pilot copes. Yeah.

After, after, he told Wim that, he's right. After LSU dominated Clemson 51 to 10, the SEC filed an amendment to its federal lawsuit against LSU, Lane Kiffin and the School of Officials on Tuesday, which seeks the authority for the SEC to expel LSU from the league. The SEC is not expected to take such action, but the filing indicates the seriousness of the league as it attempts to affirm the legal right to enforce its own rules. So they're saying, when, so basically LSU filed a thing saying, you're, they passed a rule immediately with their board saying, we are not, you are not allowed to have a player who is formerly signed an NFL or a pro-con fact to come play in any of our sports. Correct. And the big 10, I think, did the same thing in somebody else. Earlier in the day before the SEC, yes. Right. Well, like nobody can do this in the SEC. You said you can't do it. Well, then LSU said, well, we're going to go to court and court then said, Jen said, yeah, they actually can do that. They can do it. You're allowed to do this. So then LSU is, excuse me, then the SEC filed a lawsuit against the LSU.

And then then the lawsuit saying, we have the right to expel you. Expulsion. It's from the SEC. Expel them saying they would remove LSU from the South Eastern Conference. Yeah. And you know what, Lane Kiffin would say, by all means, you effing need me. I don't want to even be here in three years anyway. What do I, who knows where I'm going? I'll be in jail. No, okay. I don't think that's coming. How many teams are going to coach? I think he's going to stay at LSU for quite some time. That's a pretty good program. Seems aware of his welcome. Yeah, I know. But when LSU, if he wins, if he keeps having performances like he did last Saturday, they don't be there for a long time. But yeah, I think that LSU and Lane Kiffin will call their bluff. You like, go ahead. 51 to 10. Maybe you guys need us. Yeah. Move it on the NBA grab back. NBA grab back. So the ending of the Michigan, Western Michigan game was an all time, was an all time or on Saturday. It would appear to be a huge upset for Western Michigan, Western Michigan over Michigan. 12 to 7 turned into Michigan, being awarded a second left on the clock for a Hill Mary attempt. Sure enough, Michigan pulled off the miracle. The big 10 release of statement later that night saying that the game broadcast was one

second off of the real broadcast. However, today the Mac has issued a statement which is the conference of Western Michigan. Lane that replay protocol was not properly followed and they are appealing the result of the game. A protest of Saturday nights when Michigan 13 to 12. They're going to George Brett. They're going to file a protest this game. Well, if they were to win their protest and the appeal were to be upheld, then the score would revert back to 13, seven final correct 12, seven, yes, 12, seven. Excuse me. They wanted to keep losing 13 to 12. Yes. The big 10 was saying the actual in game clock had a second left, but that the television clock was a second off. That happens all the time, but you know what? On the replay though, they get the game clock from the stadium. They probably got the call right again. I think it's just a little too much officiating at the end of the day though. I think the big 10 is going to prevail on this because it's the bigger conference to make more money. Money always wins. I would imagine a little dicey for Michigan, by the way. Yeah, I would say so. That's a tough deal.

And they're playing Oklahoma this weekend. I think Oklahoma's going to win that game. Moving on the NBA grab back and we a grab back South Park's 29th season is coming up on September 16th. However, traders, trade parker, Matt Stone announced today that the show will be changing its name for the first time in 30 years, inspired by the Bay, the bravery and patriotism of Apple and Google. We are changing the name of South Park to South America. He put a sign over it like of America and now we're going to South Park. We especially want to thank our parent company, Paramount, as well as the company, the Sky Dance, a capitulation. Of course, this is in reference to Trump renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America. Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. It's genius of South Park. Once again, there's great trolls. Yeah, there's some of the best rolls. And some people are like, oh, so they're really going to change the name and not change the name. This is just part of the season that's coming up. If you watch any of the last couple of seasons, this falls around line by the way, they won an Emmy. They did. They won the best, I think they won the best animated program. Yeah, best animated. And they deserve it. Last season was hilarious and I look forward to the new season with South Park.

Move it on the NBA Grabback and be a grabback. Wendy's has brought back its band T Rex burger and is challenging customers to devour nine beef patties in just nine minutes. The 29.99 challenge comes with fries, a drink and a ice survive the T Rex burger t-shirt and of course, a mystery prize copes. Unfortunately, the T Rex burger challenge is available only at one local franchise in Edmund, Oklahoma, not as a company wide Wendy's promotion. It's a franchise, right? Exactly. So, wait, so Wendy's used to have this T Rex contest or T Rex, the T Rex burger challenge. It was nine patties in nine minutes comes with a fry and a drink and it's just, it's stacked super high. So the photo of this thing though, everybody keeps saying the band challenge. It was never officially like band by law. Right. They just stopped. They just stopped doing too much. But Wendy's asked franchises to remove it from the menu. Okay. Cause I guess what happened. They were like, this isn't, we're not looking good for this guy. Right, right, right. And now for some reason, one location's like screw corporate.

We're back. I say to make a trip to Oklahoma and try this bad boy. This is all the makings of when Michael Scott decided they didn't want to go with the company version of the commercial. Yeah. Remember because they think they get to film a commercial for Dunder Mifflin. But really, it's like, no, no, it's just all of you guys at the end wave. You could be standing, you could be sitting, you could be in the park a lot beyond side. So they filmed their own commercial. Right. This is, I'm with this owner. Okay. Oklahoma. Okay. Between the three of us, who you think can polish off nine patties in nine minutes? You were damning. What do you think, Dan, between you and me? I'll go with you, Derek. Yeah. You have the stomach for it. I used to. What the hell? What the hell? What the hell is that supposed to mean? You know exactly what it means. What? What do you think, Jamie? I'm just, I'm just forgetting to bully you on 50,000. Yeah. Yeah, I could probably need nine patties. You think you're a minute. You think you can do this. That's, that's way too many. If you think you can do it, I will get it. We'll build it for you here. I don't want to do that, though. I will pay for the, for the patties of front. It's nine, it's got to be nine pounds close to it.

I'll front you the patties. Yeah, thank you. But if you, loser pays is what happens. No, I'm not going to eat nine patties. I'll live and buy a, oh, what are the shirt? I could probably do three in nine minutes. Three patties, maybe two and a half. Here's the thing is it's only two buns on this thing. Yeah. It's a stacker of meat. It's a lot of patty. Yeah. And when you think about the mystery price, I mean, it could be anything. A boat's a boat, but the mystery price could even boat. Yeah. Yeah, boats of boat, the mystery price could even be a boat. Yeah. I don't, I don't, I'm going to, I love that they're like the number one prize is a t-shirt. Yeah, exactly. I don't know if the next one's a mystery price. Set a steak knives. Yeah. Set a steak knives. Second place, you're fine. Yeah. Set a place. With the shame of completing that task. I, I told you, I'm not an eating challenge guy. I'm a grazer. I'm not a dude that could eat any bit. I mean, I have a big trouble putting away, not like a McDonald's patty, but if we went to like a big burger spot. Yeah. I know it's tough time putting one away. And now, see, I, I wouldn't want to do this. I've always wanted to do what I missed out. It's not available anymore. The smoke eaters challenge. Um, I'm sorry, the hellfire challenge at smoke eaters at San Jose will give you like six

hellfire wings. You're not allowed to have a napkin or milk or anything. And there's minutes after two minutes. Of course, there's on man versus food. I think Tom attempted this years ago, but yeah, that's more. That's a heat challenge. That's my, that's more my forte than nine beef patties. That's the Danny seemed pretty confident. You could put away nine patties in nine minutes. No, I'm sorry. Just point Danny wouldn't do that in the off season in the off season. Well, maybe during the season, even. Yeah. No, I don't think I could put away nine patties in nine minutes. I don't think you could do it. I don't know. I'd have to go in with the right mindset. Okay. Here's, here's the question. I'll pose you guys. If you had like, if either of you were in a contest of eating something, what would be the item you would be most successful at McDonald's chicken nuggets? How many do you think you could put away? Which and what's your favorite shape? The one that looks like the little boot, of course. It's the best, it's the best for dip. Yeah. Yeah. And what time frame? A little boot's delicious. Yeah, come on now. Yeah. He doesn't love a good boot. I don't know. Like, I don't know what the record is for chicken nuggets. Yeah, you got like 10 minutes. Like a hot chicken. I probably apologize.

Like 40. You think only 40 in 10? Maybe 50. 10 minutes. 10 minutes. Yeah. Oh, 10 minutes. I could probably do like 35. You don't think you could eat 220 packs in 10 minutes. You wouldn't just like scarf one after another. You were trying to come through. Yeah, probably good. I'm not trying to not eat like a fat ass here. If the challenge was a hundred, I don't know. I just mean like, what's the food item you could eat the most of? You give me like a talkable crunchy talker. I could pound some of those. Yeah. I don't know if I could eat like 10. That'd be too many. Yeah. I could probably, yeah, four days could do probably 10 minutes. How much you Dan? I don't know about a quantity of food, but I think I'd like to do the, yeah. The heat challenge that Derek was talking about, you know, do like a wing challenge where it's like it is. Yeah. Super spicy. Set your face on fire. Yeah, there you go. Okay. Move it on the NBA. Usually say it. Not mean. Sorry. NBA grab that complex sports, I guess, reported on Saturday that a pay-per-view event is being organized for a MMA fight. Unlike anything we've seen before, Cole Johnson, who fights under the name Wavy MMA, is

said to be facing a chimpanzee on September 11th. Details around where this fight will take place haven't been released. A promotional website for the event has a countdown, timer, set to 8 p.m. central time on Friday. We'll finally get to know Copes. Who wins at a fight between man and chimpe? Okay. This, this takes us back to a debate you and Tim and I had when this one viral a couple years ago about, well, this was an army of men. How many, how many could a hundred men fight at a gorilla? Was the debate. Yeah. A hundred men fight a one-sulver back and win. I think the silver back wins every time. I said, I, we'd lose some good men, but I think we could do it. You're talking about like football players are like, you know, I just believe in man. I just believe in the heart of a man, you know, a human. Do you? Yeah, that's all I'm talking about. No, this guy, this guy's an MMA fighter and he's claiming he's going to fight a chimpe. He claims somebody paid him, offered him 500 grand to fight a chimpe. I don't understand, I don't like any of this. I don't like it either. I don't like this at all. No. This is the chimps not a predator. This is an apex predator here.

Yeah. You know, fighting with 99 other men and a, you know, a clear, I don't know, a jungle to survive. Yeah. This is for funny game. We're just going to, this is the way this is even legal. This isn't it. No, I can't be. There's no way this is happening, but I'm rooting for the chimpe. Yeah, I think we, that's a thing, man. I don't want to see a grown man just beat up on a chimpe. Chimpe. Okay. And here's the thing. If they do this and they lock this guy into an octagon with a chimpe, chimpe's got the advantage because he can jump off the top of that octagon. Well, think about what chimps can do, man. He can rip your face off and more. Really? They look at every appendage. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, bro. That's what he might win the fight, but he'll be losing a Johnson in the eye. I don't, I mean, like that's the thing is I think if it, like I don't need, I don't want this to happen. I want to be clear. Yeah. If I do, that that gets whatever's coming to him. Yeah. You know what I mean? I think the chimpe wins easily. Who's in the chimps corner? It's like, it's a free road. It's me. He's a wreck of machines. It's got a lever.

There you go. Hell, he's your appendage. It's rock. He'll spin it back at you. Throw the tall grass never to be seen again. And there's a rumbia grab there. That would be insane. Oh, man, see the chimpe out there, do it with meck in the corner. You imagine that coming, meck. It's a purge of mirrors. This is a chimpe. What are you doing? He's like, I don't know what I cut you. You're not even wearing gloves. You're at Chimper's sake. All right. I'm going to go with Deepop Danny, Doug with you. Hang it out on a Tuesday afternoon. We got some NFL predictions we're going to get into. But they're not just your standard 12 and 5 or this team goes to playoffs. We're going to run through some NFL predictions. The GM must have for football joins us in about 15 minutes at 350 for his weekly conversation. The NFL season kicks off tomorrow night. Was it a 515 kick? I think 525. 525 tomorrow night. A rematch of Super Bowl 60. I was watching the Super Bowl this morning. I actually was on. And I found that work or something this morning. I think it's actually no. It's the same same score. Okay. It's no play to Levi's though.

Anyway, Sihox won that one. I remember over the he was one point off. Do you remember in the first half of that game? I was watching this. At the first half of that game, there was talk that it was like the worst. It statistically it was and might have ended up at one point. Like a bottom three offensive performance for any team in Super Bowl history. Well, there was four field goals. It was 12 nothing for the Sihox. Yeah, the Patriots could barely move the ball. They look terrible. Yeah. We'll see if they improve with AJ Brown. But I'm anticipating the Sihox or the same old Sihox that we saw in your. I don't think so too. You're going to fly around hitting people. Yeah. I want to get some of the predictions we might have. Let's do it for for the season. But I don't want to I don't want to do it in the sense of just like we can talk to you. We'll match up at MVP and we'll get some other questions that I want to throw at you. And see where you come down. I don't know. Some of these. Give me a team that you think is going to disappoint this year. The Bears. I think that a lot of people have them as like a. Not sure. Well, favored by any means, but like they saw they did a year ago and a lot of one score games and Caleb Williams was great. Now disappoint me and miss the playoffs. Yes. I guess you them going eight and nine. I think that they really didn't do a lot defensively this off season.

I think that their past rush isn't great either. Like in relation to the 49ers, like they got one guy Montess sweat and the rest of it's not fantastic. They are going to miss Kobe Bryant for the entire season. A guy they signed this off season. I don't have a dude in. In week one. Yeah. He's right now. He's banged up. He's going to be burdened as well. It's going to be burden and like Khalifa Aiman. Yeah, exactly. Kyle Manunga has been injured as well during training camps. So I like Ben Johnson a lot, but I mean, this is their trend in recent years. If you were a team that won a lot of one score games, the next year at Flip Flops, we saw it with the Vikings. We saw it with the Chiefs when they were 15 and two saw it with the Raiders 10 years ago. So yeah, I know that people are high on Chicago because it's Chicago, but now I don't think they have enough this season to repeat from what they did a year ago. As far as the team I'm looking at is the team we were just talking about the Patriots. Yeah. I think the Patriots are a team that takes a step back. I think Drake May and he sold me a lot last year. I don't even know. I think they earned their trip to the Super Bowl. Yeah. But I do think that like the Niners last year, we talked a bunch about this benefiting from a week schedule.

That's where the Patriots were last season. They also in the first half of that year, the first like six or seven games last year. Then we were all insane. Their run defense was. They were destroying running backs and nobody could do anything against them. Now they weren't playing great, great teams. And I think they benefited from a soft schedule and I think Drake May could have like an MVP in his future. I really do. I think he's that good. And I think he's going to be that good. Well, I'm not necessarily sold. And the last time I saw him was in that Super Bowl last year. Yeah. And I do think that there's a lot to be gained from a more difficult schedule this year for the Patriots. I wouldn't be surprised if they were a team at eight, nine or nine and eight that missed the playoffs. Yeah, but I still like the addition of AJ Brown and Ronaldo dobs. So I think they improved their receiving core. The offensive lines because question mark with me. I like Drake May. I think they're defense. Mike Vrabel mastermind when it comes to defense. And they finally got to tell him a Christian Gensal. So I thought that contract negotiation. 30, what do you want? 135? I mean, he's the highest pay corner in football. That went off for way too long. I think kind of seeing Robert Kraft. Yes, some people like him as an owner. He could be a little stingy when it comes to paying his players. So I think they're still going to make it. But I don't think there is dominant as a year ago where I think the bills went that

division. It's funny. Robert Kraft is almost a product of his success in that he had a guy who knew how to manage it so well. Yeah. In Bill Belichek. Right. He's willing to make concessions and to move money and shift things around. Yeah. And now he's in a different era football. That doesn't necessarily happen. Yeah. Well, Belichek would have moved on from guys that were just going to make too much money and got somebody else. You know what's funny though is they always go all out for free agency if they have the cash. But then when it comes to paying their own guys like, wait, Christian, you want how much? Come on. That's a little too much. Don't you think? And we're going to move on from Edelman at one point. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Christian Gonzalez was by far the best player on the field for the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Hands down. Yeah. They're best defender in total probably. All right. Give me a team that you think comes out of nowhere this year. Green Bay Packers. I think now some people say like, that's not out of nowhere. Yeah. That's kind of where I'm at. But you think they make it like a considerable job. I do because look at their schedule. And also I know that people are like, well, they're not going to have Josh Jacobs. I'm not going to have my, uh, Mike Parsons. I think it flip flops. Where a year ago they were coming out like gangbusters and were dominant against the

lions and the commanders. And then injury started to rack up there with Jayden Reed and Tucker Kraft. And of course, Mike Parsons, we may not see him until in the middle part of the season. But that's where I think like that's the best case. You get you get Josh Jacobs back during the season. You get Mike Parsons back during the season and then you could build more meant. You could build more momentum. So even though they have a huge off season and they had to trade away two first round picks from Mike Parsons, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the Packers are more dominant than people think. What about the chargers? Are they a team that you'd consider out of nowhere? No, they were made a run. No, because they've been in the postseason. They didn't, they make a jump though. But the Packers also, I mean, three years ago, they were in the NFC champions. But I think people are writing them off off the bat here. Like I've seen a lot of people predicted that the Packers could be like the third team of the four team in the NFC North division. Or I should say, three years ago, just based off of their injuries or the guys that are missing right now with the chargers. People are expecting Mike McDaniel to come in and change that offense. And I am too. I don't know if they win the division, but they already got offensive Lyon problems. Tell it be auditors. She's out for the season. But if it's where Joe Walt's healthy and Rashon Slater's healthy, I expect the chargers to be a playoff team once again.

Okay. Is the AFC West the best division in the AFC? Yes, hands down. And yeah, the Raiders, it's sort of a kind of out of the 49 of the NFC West. Yeah, the Raiders of the AFC. There's a lot of the AFCs in the car. And those. So who's the best team then in the AFC West? Because it seems to me we're pretty clear. And I think people could have their debates about it. But on paper, if everybody would say Rams and Seahawks, the nighters, or you could go Seahawks and Rams, the nighters, whatever your argument is. But in that division, well, look at the Broncos, which I'm painting again, off a and an AFC championship performance. You've got the return of Patrick Rome's week one. And they've had a Kenneth Walker in the backfield, by the way. And then you've got the chargers. So we just talked about the Raiders are obviously a team in development. They would be the equivalent of that of the car goes. Yes. And at the bottom of the division, but I think they're close. I think these three teams are, are these three teams closer together than the three teams atop the AFC West? I think that you can say your favorite here. I know. I think that with the NFC West, I think that I think it's fair to say. And again, the nighters, they've shown every single year that they, they know how to win.

I mean, it's not like they don't have like any player on the roster here. Oh, they have tons of players on the roster here. But like they're coaching staff. They, they just find a way. I keep singing over and over again, but Robert Sulla here goes, finds a way. But she in a hand finds a way. I think they're the most prepared team and all the football right now. But I would say on paper, roster wise, they are a distant third to the Rams and the Seahawks. You have to get to the Seahawks too. I know they had changes this off season, but they're defending champions. And I feel really, I feel really good about them. Do I think the Rams are going to win that division? Yes. Do I think that the Seahawks, it'll be determined in the last few weeks of the regular season? Yes, because the Seahawks could be like 13 and four and be a wild card team. With the AFC West, it's a huge question mark because all those teams to me are evenly matched. And my home is coming back. Will he be the same? My homes? I don't think he's going to move around the pocket a lot because of that torn ACL. But if he gets a comfortable pocket and can just deliver the mail, then he might be successful. Also, they're going to run the football held a lot more than any other Andy Reed team. But if I had to save right now, I would go Broncos one,

chargers to chiefs three because the chiefs are a team that's in transition a little bit. They have kind of like the Niners where it's a their windows still open, but it's dwindling a little bit. They have old with new and we'll see what Patrick Mahomes brings this year. The receiving core is not fantastic. They have a lot of new faces on the defensive line with the Broncos. They're very talented and they're adding Gelen Waddle. The chargers, I don't know, you can pick who they're big. I like the addition. I like the addition of Waddle for the Broncos. He alongside Coral and Sutton's going to be a nice combo. The chargers kind of made like Baltimore Ravens moves where they got like a good tight end in a good center, but nothing like that's like, ooh, Justin Herbert got a brand new toy, like a big explosive wide receiver. That's a team by the way, Baltimore team. I feel like we could be disappointed in this year. Yeah, I can see that too. I think this mentor takes over as a head coach. Yeah, it's a brand new offense. It's different for Lamar Jackson, but I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't the one their division. It's not a crazy division. It's not crazy division. The Browns defense, I think they're D-Line, intersting. I'm good too. I think so as well. That's one they're going to have to deal with. Here's one that is always just fun to pay attention to.

Okay. It's a good one for us to have wagers on throughout the season. Okay. We can do a draft of this. Who's the first NFL coach that gets fired this year? I think I know who you're going to say. Who do you think we were going to say if we were going to do like the dirty wed game or we're doing the newlyweds game right now? Who would Derek think is the first coach fired? I think Derek thinks it's Aaron Gleib. What do you think Danny? I don't know. I haven't heard you talk enough about coaches. Does know who you'd want or who do you expect to have five. Yeah. By the way, I think we all kind of expect he's going to get fired at some point. But I think Derek thinks it'll be good. I don't. I'm going to say Shane Stuykin. Ooh. Okay. In Indianapolis. Yes. Because you've look at their schedule. It is brutal to start. And I want to be the least bit surprised if they are two and five or two and six. There's a little bit of surprise that he was brought back last year before the start of last. But I think the earth say daughters want to give him the benefit of the doubt. I don't believe it's a prize if they're like, you know what? Just pull the plug on this thing. Let's fire Shane Stuykin. Let's buy it. Let's fire Chris Ballard. Let's start a new. I think that Aaron Glenn will be fired during the season. I think the Jets will give him more of a leash there because they're a team of transition.

I think there's expectations with the colts. I think that Shane Stuykin will be your first day coach fired. Okay. So here's where I am. There's a couple of scenarios here. Like I don't think this guy's getting fired in season unless things go bad. If they go bad, the way they did last year, could mean burrow gets hurt, could mean whatever. Yeah. If the bangles start like two and five, two and four. Yeah, they're firing. I think that Taylor's going. Yeah. I think he like he's one that could happen early in the season because they have hopes for much higher things this year with a quarterback with guys they pay. They paid two receivers in T Higgins. Right. They didn't bring back what's his name? Hendrickson. Tyler. Yeah. Very Hendrickson. Yeah. They paid. Would they pay? They paid Higgins and they paid Jets. Yep. So if they get off to a slow start and they're not like three and one and they're two and four, they're one and three and one and four, I could see him getting fired early in the season. Oh, yeah, definitely. But in terms of bad quality teams, the other ones that I could see happening just like that, if Tampa gets off to a bad stuff, I could see Todd Bolz is gone early. Yeah, but I think that the NFC South will be mediocre now.

I think that's kind of why I'm out there. I'm like, they're like, Bolzies. Just want us nine, bro. Yeah, exactly. I assume with nine, they could be two and five and just and then like the the book in your season flight. Yeah, it could be like, yeah, we're still in it. You know, two and five is, you know, still still manageable in this division. Five and leading the division. Yeah, exactly. You know what I mean? Exactly. Here's the other one. Where is Dan Quinn? What do you mean? Like how safe is he? Oh, I think I think that he might be out. I think I think he's a guy that we could see gone early this year. Yeah, things get out of hand early. So I've given you three minutes. My Tom was the guy there. You think so? By the way, did you see Tom was one of the new Minecraft, baby? Yeah, Tomlin apparently has been playing Minecraft for 12 years. Yeah, he said, I built, I've been built in this one city for 12 years. I think I might start to show people. I might start showing it off. This is the Bill Bellicic effect where you take a year off, go into the media, people like you like everybody liked Mike Tomlin, but it pits for people hated him. But he become a media darling. It's like, you know what? It's like a second chance on Mike Tomlin. And again, like people would. He's one of Super Bowl, but I think it's a foregone conclusion and watch it in my body. I started dating a girl that was like his great granddaughter. Well, I have to wear that. First is Tomlin.

He's like, you know what? Yeah, probably they probably have it at the same time. I mean, I'm just a tough. Yeah. I was talking to him and giggling Mike Tomlin. I did. Okay, yeah, okay. So I guess I'm going to go with Aaron Glenn then. If you're going to go with with Stichen, yeah, I'm going to go Glenn. All right. My guy who gets fired first. Just Woody Johnson's so cheap. Yeah, he is. Woody could sit around like, you know, nine weeks or whatever. Yeah. But God forbid fired Salah for a chance. Yeah. So then is for no reason. Is former Stanford head coach Frank Reich, the interim head coach? Absolutely. There you go. That's the easy one. I'm like, he's shortly. I think yeah, yeah, especially because they're like, we're not wasting Joe. But I do think the bangles are going to be good this year. All right. And then one more here. Give me a, give me a totally irresponsible prediction for this year. Like I'll give you an example. My buddy yesterday, we did a fantasy draft and he said to me after he was like, don't tell anybody else about it. Okay. I want to tell you. I said, Jason. Just you meet talking to me. He was like, yes, just me and you talking to me. He was like, dude, don't tell me. He's like, my totally irresponsible. That's where I came up with this question. My irresponsible prediction.

As he said, I think we've seen the best of Patrick Mahomes. He's played his best football. I was like, you're, you're writing off Patrick Mahomes in his career right now. Like you imagine right now, Tom Brady in like 2009. And people did people did that. You won like four more coming off an ACL tear. Yeah, absolutely. I'll go to like six more bowls. What are you talking about? I go with another one with another team. Yeah, host a bowl and a responsible prediction. Like what's a red date? What's what's one that's that maybe that irresponsible? Give me like a book. Give me a Larry Krueger bold prediction. It's the dirty work Larry Krueger bold prediction of the days given by Derek Papa. Um, irresponsible take. I don't know. Do you have one first? I think about a little bit. Yeah, how about this? Matt Stafford retires after the season. It's not irresponsible. It's fairly safe. Not even safe. I don't think it's totally going to happen. But I think it's like a irresponsible like like my take would be like supposed to get 20 sacks. Like that's I guess pretty irresponsible. Oh, so it's like a bold taste. Give me a prediction, a bold takeer prediction. Do you want time to think about it till after Andrew?

No, no, no, no, I will let you off the hook. If you let I'll give you the break, but you you better have one after look. All right, let me think about all right. I'll have one. Danny, you with me, the expectations are higher because we're giving them a break to think about the take carefully. Derek, take care of it. Danny just slowly nodded his head. Yeah. Yeah. You think you think about that, but nothing more. Danny, like would you say Danny that we expect a better take? And he talks to us after the break because we're getting just on the spot. Yeah, dude, for sure. I expect it to. Okay, I got one for you. No, we want it after 30 work rolls off the Tuesday afternoon. Andrew, let's join us next. And then Derek's must hear take it. He joins his courtesy of the human guestland back in our normal time on a Tuesday afternoon. Andrew, what's going on? How are you, man? Andrew. I am doing well.

How are you guys doing? Happy Tuesday. Happy Tuesday. Happy Tuesday. Good to talk to you again. And I know it was a tough loss for you guys on Saturday, 45 to 6 against Miami. And some time to think about it and then get back after it. What does the game like that tell you about where you guys have the farthest to go in this rebuild and re-culture? Yeah, I did. It has to say rebuild and re-culture. We certainly don't. I think we've taken great steps last year and this year. And yeah, we took a loss on the chin and a tough loss on the chin. Against a good team. I'm proud of our guys fight. I think they're all, we are all collectively disappointed in our execution. And in a few other things, but like our fight, our grit, our determination, we'll fly around at the end of the game and force to turn over. And one, the turn over battle, right? Which is important. Now, there are no moral victories. That is real. There's a win in the loss at the end of the game. So we get to get back out on the practice field.

I just got done watching a very chippy, spicy practice man. Are guys getting out? Get in better. That's the best cure. Because look, we don't have an opponent this weekend, but it is a chance to get better. And we have to as a football team, we have to be the best team in the country getting better every week. Yeah, obviously, Miami is a good team. It's a good knowledge that after the game. He also said he's looking forward to seeing how the team responds and learns from this experience. So what do you hope this group learns from Friday's loss? Yeah, one, one, you know, I think I think a major focus has just been on trusting technique, trusting each other, trusting the play call. Sure, there's some new, you know, new staff. New coaches, some new scheme and continuing to learn, learn about each other, learn about, you know, who are who we are and then trust it. You know, when we, when I see guys like Zach Rall on the fourth quarter, one of our senior defensive captains, you know, still playing with great techniques, still hustling, still getting excited, you know, when it gets a TFL, I know that we're, you know, the tone, that the tone is right.

So I, you know, the chance for us during this week and as we lead up to our next opponent, Duke next week to continue to focus on the fundamentals, right? And teach and teach and play great football is a fun one. And just to focus on more positives, what did you make of your, of the performance from your receiver, Kate and I, who was, Kate and I, who was dealing with injuries coming to the game. Yeah, Kate and Kate is what we, what we like to call a dog, man, like the dude, the dude loves ball. He's got a great feel for the game. He is competitive. He is a great teammate. He came, came back from injury and put, put a really nice performance out there. Was it perfect? No, he's got stuff to work on, right? We all have stuff to work on and we can all embody our role a little better to help, to help give our team a winning edge, but it was great to see Kate now come out and, and provide some juice and, and look, I thought our own line did it, did a fantastic job, given us a chance, right? And we didn't establish the run like we want to do on it. And it's hard to win games if you don't establish the run, you know, but, but, but, Davis did a nice job of getting the ball to, to a bunch of different receivers again.

And, and, and, and look, we get to learn from it. That, you know, the first game of the year won't define us, the second game of the year also won't, won't define our whole season. And as I, I had to tell, coach, coach, coach, heard after the game sort of tongue in cheek. Congratulations. That the first call is lost. All right. Here we go. We've got to move it forward and it'll be loaded from it. Yeah. No, no, no, no, no, he ends up with none of them. You know, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This is kind of the team going to see, and from yesterday, and from yesterday, we were here just going to see team songs to be done for, and for forwarding to make it murky. We had an advantage quatro j PC series in their home desk. Yeah. We would have told people it's like, oh, that was putting you guys into the league. Right. That was coming to play for вы with the Business League, R.K. And ultimate game. Yeah. I开ware. You know, Sioux has been making sure you don't, af Guillain, Al ط aas did have an impact. I tried to live that as a quarter back, but I look, I think we're doing so many of the right things that are in the quiet in the dark if you will. Right?

Like just in the weight room in our meeting rooms in our locker room and who our team is and what our culture is and and yeah, we had a tough, tough outing this past Friday and it was a fun night outside outside of the score in the game in many ways. There was a great atmosphere. E 40 was a fantastic half time show. You know, the farm was rocking for Friday night, but you know, we we we we we all have a ways to go everywhere. Right? That's the nature of life and the nature of this football team and one of the beauties of playing winning or losing is that like at some point you have to strip the emotion from the winter loss and look at the film and get better as a team. And that's that's why I was so excited to be out here and some nice and a little bit of a heat wave and in Washington, I just hit each other and throw it and run it and catch it and go for that football. I was going to ask you about E 40. Did you see that before the game? He said you're as cool as the other side of the pillow. Yeah, right. You're right. Yeah, I can reference that.

Oh, that's all that bad. I'm you made my day. I can do like on the U McGuest line. So from your perspective, how do you evaluate progress for where you guys are going on a day like that with the scoreboard has a discrepancy in that way. We know you coming off of a victory against a while a couple weeks ago. How do you evaluate progress? How do we evaluate progress like look pro every day? There are certainly big public feedback loops like games, right? And we do this to go to win. We did that we didn't give ourselves a chance like that. Like we practiced and prepared to give ourselves a chance and and we didn't hit on enough of our cylinders to do that again against against the quality team. So wins and losses will measure progress like we're not going to run away or shy away from that like truly they they will. Now it's also like how are our players individually growing? Do we see evidence of of them getting better? Do I see evidence of Davis Warren playing better football and game to there's a lot of evidence of it. You know, at the quarterback position and a line and a D line and line back or so. We'll have to keep taking steps forward in so many ways and results matter, but like.

And if we're too fixated on the result and get and get sideways in process, then then we won't end up anywhere because a championship process with championship people will will lead to championship results. Talk to Andrew look on the U McGuest line. As you said, you guys are off this week and two weeks will take on Duke. How do you spend your how did you spend your time during biweeks last season? Do you want to stick to a similar routine this year? Yeah, we we you know coach Richard has it has a huge hand and really sets the practice schedule in the in the practice rhythm for our guys. We're putting in really intense work, you know, on the field today, tomorrow, Thursday. And giving our guys a little bit of a Saturday off to take care of some stuff before before school starts and then our staff like we'll be out recruiting and Michael. We'll hit the road Thursday night, Friday morning and get out and get out across this country and recruit and then and then take a day with our families. Now I know you've been around football your whole life. I was just thinking about this. We were talking about you know being kids and being around the game and the role you're in now has running a program.

Change anything about the way you thought about coaches or GM's and what they were doing when you were a player. You know, I it's like what I became a parent for the first time I was like, Holy smokes mom and dad. You I had no idea you guys are. It is like I so I look I've always had this. I think it'd be perfect for coaches, but it you know, maybe I get to see a different dimension of it now. Um, that I that I certainly and appreciate above these of these minutes and amazing profession. It's an amazing calling. A lot of respect for you know college administrators and general managers and you know just every every you know because we all we all truly do exist to serve the student athletes football players right. That's why we are all in service positions and service of others. And it is a calling and it's a beautiful calling to be a part of especially when you're working with with values aligned people that certainly are different personalities but but but you know going towards one mission.

Just one NFL question for you Andrew the 49ers to take it out of Rams this Thursday in Australia and Brock pretty is going to have not not this week but Brock pretty will eventually have to deal with miles Garrett and Aaron Donald and that do it reminds me a little bit of J. J. Watt and J. Davie and Clowny is where were those matchups like for you when you had to face the Texans during your cold stays. Now, obviously one thing don't don't don't sell Whitney merciless short. Oh yeah, yeah. Yeah. You was the third guy and that dude was a baller that did not did not get the respect that he deserved. Yeah. Look every every NFL team has freak rushers right now there are some freaks of freaks if you will and it does look and it does look like the L.A. team has a couple of those and so how do you deal with it? I mean, it's a team effort. You can't rely on one person. Look, blocking someone one on one no matter how good you are as a lineman like this expiration date to that a few seconds like is amazing if you can if you can do that.

I mean, everybody has to chip in your tempo matters your cadence matters your play calling matters the quarterbacks ability to get folks on the right protection or to get rid of the ball. It all matters and that inevitably there are moments in a game that's that someone has to win right and win one on one and you got to win enough of those moments. And then and then at you know, at times to it's okay to die slowly at the O like you know it's okay to wear it like just everybody's got to chip in. I and reluctant voice you here on the U.M.a. Guest line enjoys us each and every week ahead of Stanford football you can always hear over on KM be our 1050 by week this week and then back at it against dude next week. And enjoy the by week enjoy the prep this week and we'll talk to you next Tuesday. Thanks Adrian. I appreciate it. I get better week. Yeah, there's. I appreciate you guys take care. As always. There you go. The great Andrew like always great talking to him. Did Whitney merciless. I forgot about him. You mentioned those two guys have like get to any versus was no joke.

You guys know he had 12 sex one year in 2015 and yeah, he was a badass too. Basically the Rams have similar defensive line where yes, they have miles Garrett. Byron young last year people forget he had 12 sex. So you have him and I know like Aaron Donald's not playing in this game, but they have a ton of dudes on this defensive line. But yes, back of the day, the Houston Texans when they drafted J.J. V. and clowning to go with J.J. What and it's kind of similar because J.V. and clowny was an outside past rushing linebacker and J.J. What was a defensive in a three four scheme. So it's kind of similar what miles Garrett and Aaron don will do. But yeah, that was a that was a badass to hand it back at the day. Starting work on a Tuesday afternoon Adam Copeland, D. Pop Danny done with you a couple of things I want to get to you here. Just a recap of the good news or positive news. Oh, the good news is Nick Bozos is going to play. Yeah, according to him. Or is it like Nick Bozos? Oh, yeah, Nick plan. Yeah, he's going to be out there. Come on. So once you know, we feel like it's it's training in that direction. Why is he there if you work? Yeah, come on. You weren't going to play also other positive notes. Christian McCaffery and Mike Evans full participants in Melbourne, Australia at practice today.

The other news is that Aaron Donald is not traveling with the Rams and they leave tonight. Yes. It's a gave you that that little update from earlier in the show. I'll give it to you again in a minute. Aaron Donald is not traveling with the Rams to us. So he will not play in this game. He's an active and that may echo put out a tweet just a little while ago of note from that may be two minutes ago. And he joined us at 450 today from Australia from the Rams injury report. Miles Garrett did not participate in practice today due to a knee injury. Hmm. Miles Garrett did not practice today for the Rams in Southern California before they leave tonight due to a knee injury. So we'll find out more information about that in just a little bit. Here's, by the way, Joe Pompoliano wrote this earlier on Twitter. Rams practice this morning, leave for Melbourne tonight. Wednesday's a lost day due to travel. So they landed in Melbourne on Thursday morning, early Thursday morning. They play the game at 1035 local time on Friday. Fly back to the US immediately after landing Los Angeles midday Friday.

This means the Rams will spend more than 30 hours in total on a plan in travel over 15,000 miles across seven times zones and play a football game yet technically they will be back in L.A. Less than 72 hours before leaving Colin Coward. Had a breakdown on the L.A. Rams and had an interesting comp about it. Here you go. I'm kind of a believer in don't disrupt your life. Get in, get out, go back to your rituals and your habits. So the Rams and the Niners are playing Thursday in Australia. The Rams are treating it like another game. The Niners are treating it like a wedding, six months of prep. The Rams are treating it like seal team six, chopper in chopper out. The Niners are treating it like a week at Burning Man. Bro, I just want to experience everything like I want to learn how to throw a boomerang and eat Vegemite sandwiches if you tried the coffee and the Rams last year London.

Show up, play Matt Stafford five touchdowns. They boat race the Jaguars and leave Jacksonville got in really early. I don't believe in that. It's a football game. Do not send the message to your players that whoa. This is going to be a big lift. McVase message is we'll keep you hydrated. Fly in game fly out. Yeah, I understand what he's saying. But also the Niners don't look at this as like wedding planning. I don't like the London cop is a good one. I know that. But it was a five hour flight, wasn't it? From the East Coast. Yeah, exactly. It's not quite the same thing. The analogy to seal team six. I want my football teams to appear like they're about to take out some of them. Well, dude, don't forget in the World Baseball Classic. Remember that in the WBC, the Dominican team against Team USA, the Dominican team had like one Marishow in the locker room with the clubhouse before the game.

They're all like gathered around listening to stories. How we got off the island and playing in the World Series and all that. And then the US team had the dude who killed Ben Lotton. That's like a dude. They pumped them up before the game. You imagine now the next time team at Team USA is in the finals of like an Olympic or something. They get McVase in there. Yeah, reminds me that time we just got in and out of Australia. It's kind of like when they got been loud and we just got. We're just like still team. Yeah, we got in. We got out. We didn't even really see the pillow on my own toe room. Yeah, we did a lot of prep with zero dark 30 before we played this game and went out to Australia. Yeah, I don't know about the seal team. It's like seal team six getting in and get out. But now do like watching Kyle Shanahan. I watched the press conference last night. And it's anything but like, oh, yeah, we're doing wedding planning and we're seeing the sites. Like he's in a hotel room. He's planning. I was watching a clip from Australian news network yesterday. Yeah. And they have this thing called like Fox tell. It was like Fox tell sports and it was like they were calling it. And they were like talking about all the the night. We've been out and about and they were talking about how cool it had been to see him at.

At different matches and different. AFL rule game Aussie football league games and all that. And they're really enjoying the coach and they go head coach Kyle Shanahan has not really left the hotel. And it cut to like a three second clip of Kyle going, I don't know, I have really left the hotel. I got back to the news. As you can see, he's kind of a bowl. As you can see Kyle Shanahan has not really left the hotel. I really left the hotel. But about the 49ers like George Kitto left it out and about like it was all sorts of stuff like that. Well, yeah, I mean, I mean, I did to the Australians. I understand like to them. It's like, why don't you go see the attractions? No, how she ends up prep on this. No, we didn't really give a damn. We're going to hop in a hop out. I think that's what they would say like a kangaroo. Yeah. We're going to be like a boomerang, you know, just end of there. We're going back where the same way. It's like a mom and kangaroo. We're going to hop in a hop out stuff that went right now. We're going to hop out and head back to America. Like who from what do the poo? You know, they can't be our forward five eight five six two seven. When NFL and college coaches talk, we listen coach speak. And it is a good one this week featuring the likes of Kyle Shanahan, Sean McVeigh, Lane

Kiffin and dabbo Swinney are talking to each other. How you got Mike Tomlin. You got John Groot and you got Bill Bella check who did his best. We're on the Cincinnati in sort of a tense press conference in North Carolina over the weekend. Coach is talk we listen in a segment we call coach big. That's next on these sports leader. God is good. Old DeGloria's more Lord. Jesus, he was with us the whole time. Chevy is called the heartbeat of America for a reason and Silverado keeps its rhythm. You feel it in the turbo max engine with best in class standard torque and available Z71 off road package that keeps you rolling when the road turns rough.
