You know, a couple of months, I was like, all right, check my pulse. Let's see. Are we okay? Like, I licked a battery at one point to stay awake, but we're all good. And now here with a man who is getting ready to take us through another season of Dancing With the Stars, it's Malagore. Man, how are you? Oh, good. I feel a little set up here with this survivor panel. I feel like I'm giving you a number. You're outnumbered. Which is good. Hey, we're the we're the we're new alliance. You're with the icon. The icons more than I should as well. So I'm happy to fulfill that spot. I just wish one of you were cornbread. Yes. Yes, cornbread reference year, you know, the year of our Lord 2026. How about that on the on on network television? Yeah. Yeah, I mean, he was on network television for his actual show. All right.

5:2680% of the audience had no idea what was going on, but that's like, who is that? I think 99% sure. Yes. All right. And here with us and I asked him to be here. He was supposed to be with us on Sunday night. I said, hey, come, why don't you come on Zingbot night? Give it up for shout out Brandon Donnellan. What? I needed a Coke Zero during this episode. Oh my god. It felt like Drew Zing was like, this is long, right? You guys, we're still doing this. It's long. Yeah, I haven't really podcasted a ton about the brother, but I thought tonight was the night to open my bratty mouth. I'm here to talk all about the episode. Yes. Okay. What a long one it was. Yeah, and we'll talk about it here tonight, because I wasn't really expecting this coming into this week, but this is the Wednesday night before the eviction. This could be Rick Devins funeral tonight on the podcast. It feels like a sneeze. It might be, it really, really might be. Daddy's going home.

6:27It may well be. Barrett says, hey, I'm if Rick Devins is on the block, I'm going to vote against him. D says stupid, stupid, stupid. And so Rick could be walking into an ambush on Thursday night. And of course, we will have that for you coming up on our Thursday night eviction recap. And that's going to be a good one, because tomorrow night, join us as we will have a very special guest. Fresh off of episode 1000, Brittany Haynes will be with us on Thursday night for the eviction recap. Should be a very interesting night, no matter what happens on Thursday with the episode. And then on Thursday morning, of course, a summer of Stein, but what do we got? A Haley exit interview. Shout out Haley if you're watching. I don't think she's watching. I don't think she's here. 7:28Haley, let us know if you're in the chat, because she's out. Asia, she's in the wild. That's what I heard. And then I thought maybe it was a fake account. So I didn't you know you can't believe everything you see these days. So originally, we were supposed to talk to Haley on Monday. And we asked on the podcast, like, she got a keeper and sequester until Thursday now. So I think that they said, we're not going to we keep putting up with Haley in four more days. Is this like unprecedented territory? She's the first person to do a big brother exit interview, having had a now phone for a couple days. Is that right? I'm sure it's happened at other points with people who have been out of the house and they've been like been for a couple days. They couldn't do exit press or whatever the day they got out. I want to say that it happened at least once in BB24 with. What about Riley? Or did he just never get it? He never did exit press. That he was just that he was just like on that like someone somebody like reached out to him.

8:28And did he did like a long interview with somebody about? I don't think he ever did any official exit press. Now that she said time out of the house, she'll probably have looked through some and through her things went and she'll be very like informed and be able to speak about so many different different issues. So he can talk to Chuck. He can fill her in. Sure. Chuck might be out with Matt Klotz. He's on that boat. He's on the boat. And Elton. And Elton. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So it was a long episode tonight. We got a lot of stuff to get through. I guess we should talk about the end of the road for Haley. It was a little anti-cliveactic, very anti-cliveactic concern that we thought was going to happen on Sunday. We waited until Wednesday. Haley ends up going out. I mean, ultimately, I think that if there was a story for the night, it does seem like they broke Barrett when they voted out Mallory on Thursday night. And now Barrett has gone rogue.

9:31And we saw one of his actions tonight where he sends Yash and Lala out to go take on Haley. And he doesn't feel bad about it. Asia, where are you on Barrett these days? Look, I'm glad he stayed in the house long enough to get, like, come to this realization and wake up because just as a fan, I could imagine if he were voted out before he had reached that point, he would just be regretting it forever, just regretting following after the icons. But now he's made it to jury. And now he can try to write his wrongs even though it's like super hard at this point with such limited people in the house. And so I'm glad that it took something for him to wake up, but he had to lose a crucial ally in order for that to happen. So I mean, it's nice to see these like sassy DRs from him. Yeah, Braddie DRs from Barrett. Yeah. And I mean, Braddie is like almost like if you rearrange the letters of Barrett,

10:36you can get to Braddie. Matt, he talked about himself and he said the melody at one point of, hey, just because I played the way a certain way pre-jury doesn't mean I'm going to play the game that way after the jury. Yeah, I almost don't want to even phrase it as he woke up, which I know is like what we're all saying, but I don't know that he was ever fast asleep to begin with. I feel like there were some people, I'm going to put myself in that group that were feeling like there could have been a chance. This was all very intentional. We were prepared to have egg on our face. If later into the game, he was still doing the same thing. But I mean, as we didn't get to see, because we were all busy at RehabCon last week, as he started to do this whole like, oh, I'm actually going to take the next step in the game. But it's all happening now. And it's been very exciting to kickstart the back half of the game. I'll push back on that a little bit. I feel like it was only a week ago that him and Drew were like, yeah, this is the right plan. We should go with the icons. Like they were high-fiving. I just thought that like if he was,

11:37if he was like just holding, first of all, he knows that Drew is going to run back to the icons and tell them everything that he said. And also, I just felt like the beginning of the season, he didn't know what powers that the icons had. And now he knows that they, he knows what they had, he knows they're all out there. And he just has a little bit more room to maneuver without having that fear. So that's what I felt like he's been trying to go through. I think you're giving him way too much credit. I think he has risen from the dead. And he now it realizes he has to start playing. Isn't it enough that like Mallory, he's live here now. Like we don't have to give him credit that it was all intentional to like this was all like he meant to do everything the way it's turned out. I think that the superfan model, the thing that like as a superfan, if you're on Twitter, you kind of know that you do have to sleep the first half of the game and then turn it on, which I thought like two weeks ago, you turn it on. But I guess right now we don't know that Barrett is good at this part. Yeah, like he's had a good week, but I'm curious to see if he gets like the H.O.H. I.S. that most people experience in the first

12:42half of the game and then maybe overcome it or know how to deal with it. I don't know, like he could he could self-sabotize very quickly now that he started playing. The Braddie DRs are really good, though. Like the whole sorry that happened to you, D. I'm so sorry you lost your friend. Like it's good that you're having Brittany on tomorrow because you know from one confessional Diva to another. Yeah, he's really taken on this whole new persona after that. What's he fighting this much to keep Mallory last week? I mean it's not in the in the 11th hour he was, but when she was when D was saying I'm going to put her up on the block, did he push back this much? No, it felt like he was fighting just in the one scenario that Drew stayed on the block. There was no no alternative plan if Drew won the blockbuster, which is why we got it was just devastating. He already knew the fate when Drew won the blockbuster and now it's like I think now

13:46Barrett is getting to play as as the Barrett he thought he would say as what coming into this game. Listen, he got here eventually and so that's good for him. The other breakout star here of the back half of the season is Yash and he's been so fun in the diary room. He's he has really great takes on everything with Drew Brandon, where are you on Yash as a character? I think Yash is quite funny. I like I like how much he's using bro. I like how he distinguishes between bro and bro depending on his mood. I think that's awesome. Then there's also another level of burr. He'll do burr. He'll do your boy, which I'm a huge fan of your boy. I am excited to see there in some seasons of all of these shows. There is like an adversary that you didn't see coming

14:46that kind of swoops in at the 11th hour and I think we met ours. What I was so curious about watching this was I thought they yotted yotted over Yash volunteering to go in that last challenge. Yash the Yash, but I know that they said it. It seems like in the last episode right at the end, but I'm surprised they didn't make a bigger deal of that. Yeah, they put them in a pretty risky spot. It got lost in the corner of the hanger. In the two hours. Somewhere in between Sunday night and Wednesday. We forgot about that. Yash also has a very fun like diary room posture that also is pretty unique. He's like, oh, everyone's putting their legs up. Okay, okay, we're doing it. Yeah, no. I got a leg up right now. Like these, I like it. It works. No. We haven't had that in a while, but a lot of the like the old school seasons, they are comfortable on that diamond and couch, and we need to bring that back. Yeah. Well, it's like, you know, on survivor, they have the unorthodox, like confessional locations that they've largely gotten away from. If you want to sit weird in the DR,

15:47I'm all in. You should find your style. Find what makes you feel comfortable. He's comfortable. He's relaxed in the diary. Yeah. Yash is growing on me. He really is growing on me, and I know Zingbot came at him for his hair. Yeah. But my girlfriend and I agreed. Yash, he's a looker. If he cut his hair, he could probably get more. Yeah. He wants Kiwi, Asia. That's calm. He wants coconuts. Don't get it twisted. Don't send the wrong fruit to the wrong guy. Doesn't the wrong fruit. Yeah. And why is and what he calls his hair lettuce? Yes. Okay. What's going on there? This came up in the in the Zings for Yash. This was he calls it his lettuce makes you not want to have a salad ever again. Do we know? Do the house guests know about the diarrhea lettuce? No, about that. I don't think they know about that. They don't even know about Dolly Parton. They don't know. No. I thought that they

16:49got a warning. I remember like a lear eclipse saying we were told not to eat the lettuce. But maybe I'm making maybe that's a that's a mandala effect. He said everyone calls hair lettuce who says Gregory Sims in the chat. Hey, I have four people here that would beg to differ. I've never never once. I never never called my hair lettuce. So yeah. Yash is Yash is breaking out. Melody, I thought even had a good night where we got to see her seduce Drew into not putting her on the block. Sure. Sure. That's yeah. Look, I mean, they're they're still doing their thing. It's just I need Melody to win something. I need her to win some kind of power. She's winning through his heart. And that's going really well. There was one point tonight where he had her on his shoulders. Like he was about to do like a wrestling maneuver onto her. Yes. He's doing that a lot. There's a lot of video. He's the prize. He hasn't been stopped.

17:53He's the amount of picking up of Melody that he does. It all Italy takes one trip and we have a Christmas. He has whistle knot. Absolutely. Yeah. I mean, but Drew, I think he has like smaller person energy. But I guess he's like how tall is Drew? Yeah. He's magging. If I had to guess, I'd say six one. Six one. Yeah. Wow. But his energy is not that. No. Five seven easily. Yeah. No, but anybody's people up. So there he is. It's when he walks around. He's like a bigger guy. Yeah. He seems as if he's he has one move and it's the pickup. I've seen 20 clips of him picking her up in different different variations to pick up. Sometimes it's there a Jubilee video of can you pick this person up? Did he do that before he went on the show? He did. We got to make a call. I got to go to the bathroom really quick. That's called.

18:54We get credit if we. Yeah. But I thought that that was a really fun part of the episode where okay, they're trying to find the replacement nominee and Melody that everybody in the cross I was trying to pitch him on Melody and Melody's like, look, I'm not going to let this guy put me on the block. And here comes Melody. Now Matt, did we know this week that because I had heard like, okay, well, okay, Melody and Drew, they were up all night flirting. Is it part? Does she not even like Drew? I mean, that's been the confusing part all season obviously that she's got maybe something going on back at home. So she hasn't leaned all the way in. There's definitely been and I feel like she's talking about it more right now than she ever has before in the way of I'm really trying to play him. But like when they are up all night, it still does seem genuine. So I can like give her credit that it's a little bit of both. But like also if you told me that just a month from now, we're getting like the, you know, the photo shoot, we know the photo shoot that happened to my after big brother. Like if we got that photo shoot, like I wouldn't be that surprised. Asia, this is turning into a very fun like

19:59will they want to because that maybe they don't even like each other. You know, I was enjoying the yearning earlier in the season because it was like, you don't know what's going to happen. Like, okay, do they like each other? Do they not? I think now it's very clear. They like each other enough. I think Drew likes her more than she likes him. I feel like that's the dynamic. And she likes him enough to flirt with him all night. But I don't think she likes him enough to pursue anything outside of the game. Yeah. Brent, I'm like more invested now that I think she kind of low-key hates him. It's better TV if she. Yeah. It's not witty. I hate schmoopy. But this is like the opposite of schmoopy. I'm standing now. I've seen the feed clips. You've all seen the feed clips. I am so convinced that she does like I would be so impressed if she hates him. And I wish that I mean if she hated him, you'd think that she would hammer more on that in the diary room. But I as a person on my couch,

20:59I think there are real sparks happening. I think the sparks are flying. It's just a little bit of like the way that he plays the game. I don't think is the most attractive quality that you're watching him in this environment where he's just a total submissive to the icons. And it's just like this is the man you want to pursue. I mean look, I get he's you know, young and cute, whatever. But like, it's not given off the most like confidence within his own imagination. She called his nominations embarrassing. Yeah, she has look. She has the I believe she has the I like purely by his game. But flirting with him is something to do when there's nothing to do. So I don't like, you know, there is a thin line between love and hate. But I don't think she despises the man. You're the expert you podcast about all these dating shows. Is the Ick reversible? Woo, it's hard. I think that the Ick is only reversible if the issue of the Ick puts in the work.

22:03Like you got to be actively putting in the work. Actively putting in the work is putting up all three icons. That's that's that's not anybody. Yeah. So what I think so it's to the Devon. What I think contributes to the Ick is he's not in my perception. He's not owning it. Like when they talk, he's like very waffly about like, yeah, I did this, but I thought XYZ, like I think that she seems like she has the personality type where if he were much more direct about it, she would respect it more. I think his communication is bad. Yeah. He voted Malorie. Yeah, like go back to just a week ago, whenever that was last Thursday, that he said I vote to evict your best friend. Right. So she was not happy. He has like two speeds, which one is like, what if I put you on the block? Like joking, that's like, that's not funny. Or like, hominahaminahaminah, I don't know what to say. Aminahaminahaminah word salad. Yeah, and it's not working. It's really not. I mean,

23:07they're in a good situation coming out of this week for the two of them. I mean, we can talk about at some point if we were going to that there was a point where she really was a consideration to go on the block, maybe not the top consideration. And obviously she doesn't end up there. But imagine a world where this week played out that he said, you know, I just got to put you up there, Melody. She said she would have done things to him that she couldn't accept. Yeah, this is what this is. If Drew does put me up, I'm going to do things to him that I'm not legally allowed to talk about on TV. Whoa. Apparently that's what Devons is also saying in Twitter. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, do things not to talk about on television. I feel like you're not leaving a lot to say that. You're bratty. Yeah. Yeah. Still a threat. Can she can she talk about her on the life? I'd like to hear what it is. We ever hear it. If it's on the life, that's interesting. It'll be in the comedy. I mean, Rob, I think back to like when Ron Funchers was done with the traders and he went into his comedy.

31:31it's the dumbest thing in the world to volunteer yourself up as a pawn it always goes wrong you're almost definitely gonna get me victed but i think it could work for me and i'll give rick devins credit on one thing uh that it's a great arrested development joke that he is citing here at this point so i'll give him some props for the reference is he doing this whole thing for the reference because not quite sure no i think the confessional but you know that's the thing it's like his confessionals are all still silly and joking and he doesn't realize yeah you're in danger girl i do i will say i think during this confessional he looked near tears i think this is i think the prompt of like what did you do this for i think that's when it hit and that this was a a bad idea he looked very worried to me in this confession you think so i didn't realize he had volunteered so early like even pre-nomes right cuz like he's right yeah so we didn't know that he had

32:32i mean he didn't he didn't give drew a chance to think but asia i was talking about this on i did earlier before all this this was a long big brother night for me because i did a podcast right before this uh with tarren over on patreon uh the bbmail bag we talked about uh devins volunteering to go up on the block actually him volunteering to go up as an initial nom and backdoring yash actually is like a much better plan like being volunteer to be the replacement nom was was much worse where if they needed an initial nom to go up on the block and say okay put put put me up with lala and Taylor and then we use the veto and take me down and put yash up so yash can play the veto is actually uh if you were going to do this that's the better version he said i'm still an option i could still go up mm-hmm and i said what the hell did you just say yeah was that though part of the original pitch that didn't make the television show was was exactly what you said or was the plan just oh we don't know there were no there were no feats he was still down after the

33:36veto was won by yash he was still down to go up he definitely wasn't like pushing and saying like you have to put me up like this makes the most sense uh but it was just an option that he put out there and he mentioned it way too many times i mean one time is way too many times uh but two three or four times with it was mentioned and nobody else was volunteering so yeah and but but this was another chance for drew to get that it the itch level reduced with melody by making his own decision d put you up mm-hmm i don't care what d says like oh don't put me up like she he because he he even lightly said it to her like oh what if i put you up she's like don't even think about it and that was enough for him to be like oh okay well i guess i have to put up devins because he volunteered so what else am i supposed to do and it's like no so easy to say i'm getting my lick bag just the last time he made her move this risky there was a million dollars on the line that that another million dollars could have been added to the prize pot if things went well with

57:49like a it was random at that point the hoh comp ended with drew in melody and yash fighting for the tiebreaker and it was an interesting scenario where yash is potentially going to win an hoh where he can't put the icons up on the block was that a throw from yash in the hoh competition yeah definitely yeah i i feel like he was uh saying that he was doing that which made plenty of sense honestly i never thought about this possibility i was like no he needs to win this hoh so that he can get through a week where he would have to dominate other people but he's taking it from the approach of let me make sure that other people would that would nominate the icons win instead which obviously could work if those people would win he tries but he's got a 50 50 chance here of it landing on melody and it just doesn't land that way yeah ajo what do you think does yash need to just uh get through this hoh and and burn through it i think at this point

1:11:38how people feel going into the jury and so i feel like even if haley were the first juror they wouldn't care what she's saying or whatever um and so even if devins is the first person in the jury i think it's going to matter even like if let's say d makes it to the end i don't think because devins has been there the whole time championing for d that they would they would vote for d to win unless they want to give her the win yeah um Brandon do you think that uh rick would vote for d in the end if if uh he feels like that she turned on him yeah i think that that rick wants the survivor person to win big brother and i think if d is the only one there obviously because he's gone i don't think it it it necessarily matters who she's next to i think he's going to vote even if the votes six one and barit or drew or whoever gets the other votes i think rick will always be voting for the other because he wants he wants to feel like he won you know and a survivor person is a win for him also

1:12:41um so i don't i don't think that d will likely get all the votes in that scenario but i i do think rickie b's is okay we spent a lot of time talking about rick and his plight if he ends up being on the block but what's the latest with tailor and la la uh and should rick devins win the blockbuster what what's the latest there it's going back and forth uh just a little bit like i don't think enough i i feel like the momentum is certainly leaning towards la la would be the one evicted that's been the most heavily discussed um i feel like i'm looking at barit especially as like what does he want in this vote given his position in where the votes are going to lie um and i was i guess a little surprised that that's what he wanted but then even watching this episode back and really seeing where he put yash and la la's lives in danger by sending them outside and keeping uh tailor and mel- uh melody safe uh yeah it makes sense that he is prioritizing tailor staying in the game a little bit more especially with la la being harder to beat in competitions uh so it does feel like

1:13:43it would end up being la la but i feel like de and angela and i could be wrong about this i'm not like like a completely on it but um i feel like they kind of would rather la la stay i don't know if anyone feels different yeah because angela has that relationship with la la like where we say devins has bariton jr.u angela has la la like that's her connection outside of the crossover crossovers don't they go back and forth like don't they say sometimes crossovers sometimes crossovers maybe i don't know anyway anyway i think that could be over either way you're right uh angela wants to keep la la um and but you know what's most important where the numbers are like what is yash and bariton melody you want to do yeah i think i think uh devins would probably want la la to go along with the bariton jr like that's where i think that they're leaning as well again feeling like la la is tougher to beat in competitions that if she's available we take the shot if rick ends up winning the blockbuster

1:14:47does he just go through the rest of the game la di da not even knowing that he would have been evicted from the house who depends on who wins hio h next week if he wins hio h next week he stays once hio h everybody snitching yeah like i think everybody would know at that point it just feels like barit really could get out of this so easily the fact that he's getting one over on d in such a big way here that like d is so confused she's like surely barit would vote out devins if he's on the block but she doesn't think he's going to because he's been selling so well this week that he's voting with the crossovers that he's still loyal to them and nobody has truly sniffed it out even if they have their minor suspicions it doesn't feel like any of them are like we know that barit is not with us at this point so if devins does stay and wins hio h and yosh happens to come to devins and say barit was ready to get rid of you barit's going to say of course i told yosh that i had to you know just pretend to be on his side so i don't know do we have any thoughts on what the next hio h

1:16:52that there wasn't going to be a slip inside the season they did a tiny hio h last season okay well that's a past season okay yeah interesting yeah and drew was the tiny hio h this week all right um anything else that we want to do it's on our mind going into big day tomorrow as per usual yeah i think we're all going to be watching the blockbuster it's another important blockbuster where somebody has to win or else they are the ones going home um so i think because of that it would be the most exciting scenario if Rick devins loses because we finally get to see bear it show his cards uh we got or and we get to see what happened like what D and Angela are going to do yeah i mean it is like narratively devins kind of has to go home uh at this point
