Barbara Eden reassures fans after cancelled appearance

0:00Barbara Eden has a short fan, she's okay, she has to cancel an appearance, do we know what's happening here? Well, when the story got out that she was canceling, they said due to illness she couldn't be there, she was collecting an award at an awards night, not the Emmy Awards. And of course, everyone panics, because we love her. And so she's 95 years old. Well she got into social media pretty quickly and said, don't worry, I'm absolutely fine. She said she was recently put on a new medication and it was having some side effects. So subsequently the doctor said, stay home for the night, you can't do it. And you know, she's old school, she doesn't want to cancel stuff, she doesn't let her fans down, you know, we've had her on the show here. She's absolutely divine, so gracious and charming, she doesn't, you know, not on a gig. So she said she's okay, so we take her on a word for that. There's some of her statement there.
