The orders made some roster manipulations slash machinations over the course of last

3:09three days, they put Manjia Pani and Regula on waivers, they both cleared. Both players theoretically would have to play at least one game before they could get recalled Edmonton, recalled Samansky and Howard, then Edmonton traded for Conor Murphy and sent I-Coward back. So maybe you can provide us the rationale obviously from management that you were only given and I could see it as soon as I saw the line combos that just the one shift for Enramagia Pani. So he understood what was going on, right? Yeah, yeah, just one shift and I chatted with him and just said, what do you want to do? Do you want to stand the bench or do you want to just erase the room? And I think he kind of felt a little bit odd, he wasn't sure and then he took the one shift and he's like, hey, are you okay if I go to the room? I'm like, yeah, go get a workout or whatever. So yeah, it's the, as part of the business, you know, we talked about it yesterday as

4:11a team and then, you know, it was before, you know, what we knew that what was going on with Andrew. So yeah, it's just one of those things and the more experience you gain in it and the more you go through the week before the trade deadline, you know, it just makes you a little bit more seasoned on how to handle it and also understand what the players are going through, right? They just wanted to come and end and wouldn't want to see where they land and if it's here or wherever it is, then they can move forward. Yeah, and I want to re-emphasize this point. It's my belief that the orders will make at least two more trades. One will involve Monji Pani, you know, that's, you know, I'd be surprised if he hasn't moved. The orders are going to have to attach an appetizer to that, a pick. And so there's two scenarios. One, you maybe move a higher pick and get back a prospect you want and get the cap space then you can go make another trade or conversely a second deal or maybe you're not necessarily

5:15getting a prospect, but another guy that's got a little bit of term left that's, you know, maybe a third of the price of Monji Pani and then that's not quite as good a pick flip for the opposition team. So a couple of scenarios there. You got Alec Regula and the orders are at seven defensemen now with Conor Murphy here and, you know, he's not going to play tonight, but he will play Friday, whatever to take son Carolina. So you've got some depth finally on defense. Think of where you were calling, you know, three weeks ago when you didn't have Leppettin and you didn't have Deneen and you didn't have, Stilman was nicked up for you. And now you're, you know, you got Regula and you got a veteran like Josh Brown and Deneen's back and Leppettin's back and oh, by the way, both Carfonia and Acre are playing pretty well. On the back end. Don't you? Yeah. There's some depth in the back then. Yeah, for sure. You know, it's funny. The last time we played Colorado at home, we had, you know, Tyson Fees and the Inemoto and some guys that, you know, were called up from the SHL and, you know, obviously excited for their opportunity, you know, to be in the lineup and just, you know, different team

6:20Mason Elman, you know, a player that can plan the league as well. Just with the, with the experience we have right now and then some, you know, some drafts. And obviously Carfonia is playing really well for Agent Signing, you know, as there's a bit of a backlog there, you know, Josh Brown was injured in our last game in Ontario. So he's, he's weak to weak with a lower body, but, you know, he got in late last night and to play today, he played quite well, you know, just just being a, being a good pro and it definitely helped us today. That's for sure. I want to talk about two guys, we focused a lot this year on Quinn Hudson and on Isaac Howard and Samansky, but I want to focus on a couple, Robbie Arventay and James Hanlon. And Hanlon's, you know, played about 40 games for the others. James Hanlon has had a great year for your team as a. This guy is the Nick Lidstrom and I don't know Nick Lidstrom, I just always, you know,

7:22a perfect human and a good teammate and does all the right things like that. That's James Hanlon. Like I, you know, I know he came up the one year there and, you know, part of the, this the incredible 17, I think the 17 game, when she gave us part of that, you know, he, I believe he's got 13 or 14 goals in his last 20 games, you know, what the really, really great thing about James Hanlon is, is he was doing the same things before when he really wasn't scoring as much, he's just, he's in the right spot, he's above the puck, he works, he's showing me hard, he's detailed, you know, he has a ton of will, you know, this year he's doing it with no power play time just based on, we have a different team, you know, he let our team power play goals last year with 10, we didn't, you know, as you know, we didn't have the offense of punch that we have this year. He's just whatever it takes, whatever the team has you to do, he'll be finally killed. He kind of reminds me, Bob a little bit of new, he can play, he can play center, he touches, you know, I hear the, I hear the Euler's coaches and the Euler's players talk

8:23about, you know, new touches, every, every piece of the game. And sometimes he's not, you know, crazy dynamic, he just gets it done, he just, he goes about his business and he's, he's silently super at his craft. So, you know, love, you know, I've been here five years of James and I saw him do it as a young player, 20 goals, no power play time as well. I told you to do it in any league. So, yeah, he's, he's been great and as far as Howard, right, was the other one, Bob? No, you're a mentee, you're a mentee. Oh, sorry, you're a mentee, you know, he had a real hot start, right? And we weren't playing him back-to-back and I think he was excited to want to play. And then what happened is he started to go through the grind of the season. His minutes came down a little bit, I'll be honest with you and him. And we have, we, Robyn, I have had a couple of these conversations. I need to play him more. I needed to play him more. He was kind of around that 12, 13, 14 minutes. I needed to get him out there more.

9:23I also asked of him. He needs to skate more. He needed to compete more. And he's a, you know, he's a pro and he's like, you're right. Yeah, and so it was kind of both of us like we were both right and we both could give a little more. And, you know, not playing for a year and a half, right? We've been through that with Josh Bailey. And Rath's level, he's, you know, just like even cornered Brown last year for the Oilers. It took him a long time or the year before, it took him, you know, till after Christmas to get going. But Jarby is competing, he's making some in, I mean, you saw the individual effort, you know, the past, he made the synansky, you know, but he's doing, he's good on the board. He's scoring goals. He's forechecking. He's hitting. He's a big body. He's skating. He's competing. He's high and confidence level. The coach is, you know, given him more, he's earning more, all that kind of stuff, a pretty exciting time, you know, and then now we're starting to get a little bit of a better view of kind of what that, how that move looked like, you know, unfair last year when you only

10:26played two games. I got to ask you about. Atro Leppett and we're joined by Colin Chalky's head coach to the Bakersfield Conners. This is the ECQUIS Farm Report. Leppett and missed a bunch of games, missed like a month and a half. He's got almost two months. He's got five goals and seven points in the eight games that he's come back. That's been an important re-addition in your lineup, hasn't it? Yeah, you know, when he, the jump over, right, for, you know, as you know, forwards, it's not as difficult and goal centers, indeed, it's just a completely different game, right? We saw with Broberg how many times he got it, you know, as just as a comparison. So it took him some time, you know, he fought some, some defense of mistakes. You could always see the offense from him and, and that, that's continued. We didn't put him, you know, right on the top part of playing it right away. We wanted to give him a little bit of seasoning, but he's been a big reason for why the power play has been where it's been, you know, he can score some goals, he, he's sneaky

11:27on his wrist taking like when he hold, kind of like boosts sometimes when he holds the line, you make sure you're a little nervous, like, oh, he makes up. So those reads and more often, way more than, often, they write than wrong, you know, and then the other part that's really impressive is, you know, some teams are, are, are, they really play him hard and they, they, they, they hit him and he, he either takes to hit or he makes a play, or if he does take a big one, he keeps getting up. So, you know, I think sometimes, you know, culturally, socially, things like that, you're coming overseas, it takes some time, you know, yes, the injury, set him back, we sorely missed him, but he's an excellent sense of attorney in all areas as well. So we're happy to have him. Well, some good news with your team today as well. After not scoring in the 14 previous games, Quinn Hudson got one today. I mean, it's kind of scary when you think about it, Quinn Hudson had, you know, 24 goals for you in his first 36 games in the HL.

12:30And then our first 35 games in the HL didn't score for 14, but he got one today at, he's an important guy for you. I know he's got 11 on the power play this year. I mean, he can obviously score at your level. Yeah, he can. I, you know, both myself, you know, Adam, Craig, like, from an offensive perspective, worked really hard and trying again to, like, dart into areas and be a little bit harder around the net, but also keep his patience and poise and he did a fantastic job. And I think he got really hot, almost maybe too hot, right, to score that much. And obviously, we were excitable to so was he. And then what we started to see was just other teams playing a lot harder, you know, the starting and the second half of the season, more teams are dialed in defensively. You know, the younger players have more confidence on the road. It's hard to get him away from the top deep pairing. You know, he's not a surprise anymore.

13:30There's less time and space. So, you know, those are moments that he had to go through. You know, so great, great to see him to score one today. You know, no surprise, right? It was around the net and it was a quick on and off a stick and the upper half of that was we've seen him do multiple times this year. I think in the first part, I would say last day, I would say in the first part when he wasn't score in the first 6, 7, 8 games, he was snake bitten and then the confidence parts and the grit, the gripping of the stick started to creep in a little bit. And, you know, aside from that, I'm happy to see him bury on today five on five and I know he was excited about it. Colin, what's the rest of the schedule look like for the week? Tomorrow we're off, you know, we kind of had this odd Tuesday school game. So being off day tomorrow for the squad and then practice Thursday, Friday, Saturday at home, verse two saw and then and then after that, we're going to give our boys a little reset. We're going to give them a couple days off as well, just based on, you know, a pretty
