I'm doing quite well, B. How you doing? My anxiety has been bothering me a little bit, but I'm getting your butt kicked. Oh, that don't bother me, none. A little bit was talking to me the other day about like, in the comments, people say, I'm glad people comment because we asked them to, but I don't necessarily live in the comments. I mean, why am I anxiety bad just because my mental health is terrible. That's all that. What's wrong with your mental health? You got a therapist, B? I do. Dr. Garcia, but I'm. Have you seen a therapist? I do, but it's zoom and I don't, because she, I get comfortable with people. I need to find one close. I'm going to tell you, I understand the anxiety thing. You know, I know that very well. I think therapy is very important.

4:07I had a very necessary therapy session last week. Let me tell you how my time has always been so jacked up because I'm allegedly supposed to be on mountain time. Mountain time only changes to a different hour than Pacific time during daylight savings time. So I thought I was hour here yesterday, missed my therapy session and I'm still tied about it. So I'm mad and crazy today. So I just want to warn you. Well, all right. Well, that's, that's a good. I've been trying magnesium, glycinate and astral gondol. Astral gondol. Is magnesium glycinate? Then that, that make you go to the bathroom. No, that's magnesium citrate. Oh, you right. You right. Good job. Be a look at you knowing your earth and enemies. Good job. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway. You'll find out why we're ranking them. We'll probably get one or two on throughout the year. It's very interesting to see who's number one in my ranking and who didn't make the list. Um, so we got to be in some mohazhi. It'll be all right. I'm, I'm made for the arena. So please check that. Spoiler be one spoiler. Is Kamala in your top five? No, I don't know if she's running, but Kamala is not in my top five. She's not, she's not. And the funny part about it is, the funny part is, the funny part is, uh, it took me a lot as I was writing it, but Gavin Newsom is in the top five. Now me and you fighting twice. I know. But it's all right. Let's get on the way. We can get him coming on here because you obviously on the game. Yeah, that's crazy. No, he, um, that kid got holes in it. He calling me this week. Um, but in today's show, we want him on the podcast because he vetoed another reparations bill. It's going to be me and Gavin and mostly me as my mom. What is it? Shout out to Mama right. On today's show, we're going to cover the FBI. Because at the FBI, a history of hiring prostitutes, beast reality or stealing from your employer may no longer be a barrier from getting hired, which is wild on his face. Um, one of the stories that Angela's heart is breaking over. And our heart collectively is breaking over as a college student in Spring, Phil Ohio walked in a traffic after being assigned an ankle monitor upon losing his TPS status. We're getting to that. Y'all asked for scam and as in words, um, summer and y'all getting a lot of them. Former Tentation Island contestant angel Victoria Murdoch got onto a reality show.

7:11After faking her entire life story, she was recently exposed. Rich Dan Porden, the self, self help author, uh, Robert Kaisaki. I don't know if you all remember this book. This book was very important for particular generation. It sold 32 million copies, has acknowledged that he is $1.2 billion in debt. We'll talk about that. And speaking of that, a community organizer helps erase $1.2 million in medical debt with only $10,000. We'll get into all of that and FYI say a longer topic today is something that you guys probably want to stick around and make sure you hear this week. Um, over the past week, there have been some viral clips about my comments on, uh, CNN. I haven't responded publicly. I haven't put any comments up there. I've had a lot of friends and people I don't know, um, say things about the clip. But I wanted to talk about it in a full context. So, uh, we actually got Nikki free to come on the show. Uh, talk about the clip, talk about, uh, kind of the culture that we're in. Talk about the importance of Angie Nixon.

8:13Talk about the Florida Senate race, all those things around. And I think that you'll be surprised by the tone, the tenor, the direction, um, and where we landed on this show. And so we'll do that a little bit after FYSA. So welcome. Yeah. Give me a favorite when you see Bacari column, Laura Lumer. Man, no, call me no damn Laura Lou, man. Uh, not regardless of the bush, it's just says, but I ain't that ugly. Don't be lying out here on Beyonce's internet. Anyway, oh, Laura. Okay. And now it's time for FYSA for your situational for your situational awareness. This is a headline and a topic that Angela has created for us, which I struggle to say every time I host the show. Here we go. Uh, the FBI previously refused job applicants if they admitted to hiring sex workers stealing from an employer or engaging in acts of beast reality.

9:15Since June, the FBI quietly lowered its standards, according to multiple sources, the FBI lowered the standards to facilitate hiring after some candidates acknowledge they engage in sexually deviant activities or stole from an employer. The move comes as the FBI has lost scores of employees because of firings, retireings, resignations, et cetera, since the start of Trump two point of. Well, um, yeah, yeah. That is a, that's a wild comment. I kind of want to like, like, you see, yeah, because the wild comment. No, no, no, this, this, the standards, like who, who shows up for an interview? That's a good point too. But who shows up for an interview talking about I engaged in a little bit of beast reality. And then somebody says, I want to work with you here. You want me to tell you? No, no. Let me tell you J sixers on both sides. J sixers, the employer, J sixers, the employee.

10:18For those of you who don't know what a J sixer is, they are the January six terrorists. The insurrection is the ones that put on Nancy Pelosi's desk. It might have been the dog that he was banging. Boo, boo. Okay. That's disgusting. That's disgusting. Exactly. Exactly. It is, isn't it? Isn't it? That's disgusting. Okay. Um, so look, I don't know what they doing, but they create the rules. They fit them. So that that should just give you a little bit of a pause. Angela, what you got a little bit. It gives me a great pause. And these are also the people that are writing up policies that are terrorizing human beings that are coming to this country to do something for themselves, for the community. And to make the world a better place. One of those people was 20, 20 year old Pierre Demas Bell. He's a Haitian migrant student, college student now, who was on his way to becoming a medical doctor. He lost his temporary protected status in Springfield, Ohio. And I want to pull up his Instagram carousel because this is the last statement we have from Pierre.

11:22Um, on this, he says, I can't, I came to this country to pursue my education. I didn't come here to commit a crime or hurt anyone. Yet now I'm walking through the streets of the United States with a GPS monitor on my leg carrying a filling of shame and humiliation that I never imagined I would experience. I came here to study to build my future and to live a better life. Maybe it says this is e-naught. I'm not sure that it's to be treated like a criminal. So now how am I supposed to play college sports with the GPS monitor on my leg? This is a carousel from him of all of the work he was doing, community work. Um, he looks like he was a high school ROTC, something or other. Um, I don't, and he's getting awards, you know, certificates. He put this post up. And this is the last commentary he had on his page about this on July 30th. Bacari tragically, his family believes and there's a headline we have from the new republic.

12:27Um, but his family believes that being forced to wear this ankle monitor, um, and the restrictions on his freedom caused him to walk into traffic, losing his life. And so I do want to pull up this headline. I'm from the new republic, um, because now this young man has gone and the, and this country really has to reckon, uh, with the fact and wrestle with the fact that the people who it's setting out to detain and deport were supposed to be the worst among us, the criminals, the rapists and the drug dealers, the people that were bringing harm and discord into our community. Instead, they're getting students like Pierre and this little boy now, he was gone and we're not going to see him become the neuroscientist or the medical doctor that he was striving to be. So the problem is that the people who are creating these policies don't give us the benefit of our humanity. And so they don't feel the loss like we feel the loss. In fact, I would dare say, and I think I would be right, um,

13:28if I'm not, I would like for somebody to come on this show and prove me wrong, but I believe that they treat people who are immigrants to this country, who are not white European or South African immigrants as simply a statistic. They don't understand that they are a part of the fabric of what is and what it means to be an American citizen, let alone what's on the, um, what's on the, on the Statue of Liberty. Um, and so we are just not upholding the virtues of what this country, uh, was promised us to be. And unfortunately, um, they're going to be more like Pierre. And I think that all we can do now is just simply pray for his family, um, that his memory be a blessing. Yeah. It's, it's a devastating story. And I hate that we're having to tell them right now, but I do think it's important that we shed light on, not just the danger of the policies, but the fact that they are deadly. They're deadly. Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, it's, I mean, it's state sanctioned violence, however you want to, however you want to do it,

14:32moving on to another topic, which made news, um, Mette Hassan of Zateo, um, Zateo news, shout out to Mette. He challenged Hunter Biden on his comments about Kamala Harris as we know, Hunter Biden has been on a media tour. It's not like a rehabilitation tour. But if you get Hunter Biden on your podcast, he's going to say whatever kind of comes to his mind for better or worse, this is the clip that he had to say about, you know, five for president, your candidates for 28. You say what? I said it's not divided in your top five in presidential candidates for 28. Absolutely not. Okay. I don't even know a Hunter Biden can vote. Did he get pardoned? His daddy pardoned him, but I'm not sure. Oh, but he can't pardon him for state-based offenses. What's he doing? I don't know. I don't know the answer today. We need to look at the answer to your question. Lesson is some other stuff. You're about to be in some mess. The answer is no.

15:32He didn't make the list. But let's listen to him talk about, talk about Kamala Harris. You said in a recent interview that you think Kamala Harris is, quote, not a very good politician. Harris was given only 107 days by your dad to try and win an election. It's $2.00. She stayed loyal to him throughout. Yeah. When he told her on the day of the debate against Trump, no daylight kid between them. She stuck to that. When she went on the view and they said, what would you have done differently to Joe Biden? She said, nothing comes to mind. In that moment, I thought she's going to lose this election. She needs to break with Joe Biden. I would argue that cost to the presidency. She refused to break with your dad. Stayed loyal with him till the end. Cost herself to presidency. And many would say, here you are throwing her under the bus saying she's not a very good politician. Oh, boy. Sometimes the way that you lead up to these questions is to say that, Hayton, they said, you know, I just think that the way that she's handled it. What does that mean? That's from you. I don't understand that. What could she done better? Here's what I also would like to say about the vice president. I think that the vice president was served the country incredibly well,

16:33and that she has a deep rich future in politics, whether she wants to run for president again. She'll be one of the, if not the front runner. She's not a very good politician, no. And I think that the way that she's going about it right now is leased from my perspective. I'm looking for some details. What does that mean? Well, I think this is that I think that there has been, I think that this administration, unlike you, I don't think that she should have ever been any daylight between, she can make daylight between myself and my dad, but not in terms of what they were able to accomplish over that four-year period. I think that there may be daylight as issues related to Gaza, and as it relates to Israel, that of course she needs to be able to stake her own ground on. She didn't. Well, that hadn't anything to do with my dad. It didn't have anything to do. No daylight, a kid. Nothing to do with the loyalty to my dad. From my perspective, but here's the thing, is this, is that, you know what, she's a free agent now. I'm Hunter Biden. I get to think whatever the hell that I want to think about anybody.

17:33It doesn't have to do with my dad. You'll see what she could say whatever she wanted now. What? What? Are you saying she could say whatever she wanted to say now? Does she couldn't say in the race? Quite possibly. No, I'm saying I get to. Okay. I get to have an opinion. No, no, that's what you're here. I like your opinion, but I'm just laughing. I think that part of what Hunter Biden did is what we see a lot with Kamala Harris, that people just fall in the stereotypes about Kamala Harris. And then you ask them a follow-up question, and they be like, I don't know. That's just what I heard. Like, how are you not a good politician and you were a district attorney? You were a attorney general. You were a United States Senator and you accomplished being the only black dot on all those dots of vice presidents in the United States of America. And you were a part of a team that beat Donald Trump. So like, I want, let me. We did it Joe. We did it Joe. We did it Joe in the middle of the woods. So like, I think that there are some, there are a lot of critiques of Kamala Harris and a lot that you'll hear because again, she is the front runner right now,

18:35based on the polling. I don't even know if Kamala Harris is going to run for president of the United States again. Like, I think that there is. I'm trying to figure out what planet you're on right now. About which part? In what world do you think that Kamala is not running? I think that Kamala's tired. And I think I don't know if she has rejuvenated herself. But I do know that after that 107 day sprint after all of those things, I mean, I think that that led into. After the 107 day sprint, she did a book tour. I know. She was all over the place. But she also didn't run for governor. But she would be in the- Okay, that is a fucking demotion. Like, you know what makes me so- People have run for president and then become governor before? No, no, no. People have never been vice president and then run for governor before. And I think that my frustration with this country, yeah, that's an important part, Ray Charles. Here's the thing. I think we have to acknowledge like,

19:36you only make an excuse of a jump from backwards to forwards like that in the realm of like a black woman running for president. Nobody else will be required to do that. That wasn't my point at all. I don't think that that's your point, but I'm saying that's why people were recommending that. If we're on, it's like- Oh, I- What universe do you, like are you vice president of these United States and then you go back and get go to governor? Yeah, no, I just felt like if that was something she wanted to do and be a part of the fourth largest country in the world, she would be really good at it if she wanted to do it. But my other point, my larger point is that she really don't owe us nothing. So like, I don't think this is about, oh, I think this is about what she wants for herself. And I think that- Correct. I just know that she has not done anything. She has not done anything that would, outside of a book tool which everybody does for whatever reasons they do. There have been, and let me give you a great example. Like in Michigan, South Carolina,

20:39some other of the early states, you've had Pete Buttigieg, you've had Wes Moore, you've had everybody with John Ossoff and Josh Shapiro come to these places for an NAACP event for Gala for something. And all I'm saying is she may not have to do that. She may see herself as where she is right now, not having to do that, but she's not doing that. She's not calling the people who, you know, are your field organizers, et cetera. And until she does that, I mean, if she does- I think that's fair. I think that's fair. I think what I do appreciate about what you just said before even about Hunter Biden is there is this desire to engage in the tropes around Kamala Harris, no matter who it is, James Carville to Hunter Biden to who Marrails. And I think that that is remarkably frustrating. And what I want to see happen in this environment is for Black men in particular. I'm not saying Black men didn't support Kamala Harris, but I'm saying protect her because what I think that we all can see now

21:43is the people who were uncommitted and the people who thought it was the lesser two evils and the people who thought it wasn't enough time and the people who thought there should have been an open primary and a contested convention. What we know now, I've been new, but what y'all know now is that we would have been a lot better off with a common here as president. Preaching to the choir. I were hurt. Like there's something innate in me that would just be like, now let me show this motherfucker I got this. You know, especially you don't want to lose to Trump, especially just because you didn't have enough time to run a race with your team not the one that was, you know, set up for Joe Biden and they tried to plug and play put her into a cookie cutter mold that sounds a lot more than like Hunter Biden than it does Kamala Harris. I do think that loyalty was her fault. And that's sad because loyalty is what we strive for. But it hurt. I would also say that we've seen this happen twice, honestly, because I think that the 30 year tropes that Hillary Clinton had to deal with as well were devastating to her campaign.

She's a 26 year old influencer who gained over 300,000 followers by posting about her studies at Duke University and her thriving real estate business. Her alleged fulfillment of the American Dreamland at her spot on the Netflix dating show that I have never watched, but the kids watch Temptation Island in 2025. This child was lying all the time, lying in the whole time.

28:56Duke University said Murdoch was never enrolled. After real graduates of the 2026 position assisted program blasted online for wearing the wrong gown colors. Intergraduation photo. What you got on, boo? What you got on? You got on the crib set of blizz. What you doing? Maybe the other way around. This is Duke. The state of Georgia and North Carolina, both of them said that she is not a licensed realtor. As I said, we talked about this on the solo podcast Tuesday and somebody pretending to be low, low or down with NLP offering money for pot appearances, which we would never. But, Kar, what would you got to say about Dejan and Dejan Na? So like, look, I think that they're a little different. This young lady is a scam artist. Dejan was a true scam artist, but I've been talking to my homeboys about Dejan love. And um, you got to say something that's going to get you a more trouble. I can see how your hands is folded. You look like you look like one of them thinking through this.

29:57Like, dude, what do we, what do we say to women that fit? I know. What do we say about the women that fell for this? Man, you saw that man out there running out. So I'm going to say you, as a sea hawks, man, you saw that man running. He was running out. So I'm not saying that you were like, he never played no football before. If that was my sister, if that was my sister, first of all, I would be roasting her just beyond belief. If that was, if that was my daughter, I would say that, oh my God, what did I do wrong? Like, I don't, what, where is it? Keep saying he out of this. If there is, is there any individual responsibility at all for people who fell for this? Um, here's where I want to start with your commentary. The fact that you started right here with these prayer hands, I knew you was about to be a toxic, toxic masculinity type. I knew it. Well, here's the bottom line, Bacari. I play football better than Desjardh. And I wish that people everywhere, this is the PSA offer on my solo pie. Google has an AI feature that AI feature summarizes content online.

30:58It does not consider the truth of that content. This is why I tell y'all you cannot rely on AI this much. So in Google AI, Desjardh is a football player for the 49ers. Meanwhile, what y'all didn't understand was when he was signing a contract for the Niners, it actually was just the Niners. And that might be how much time he ends up spending in prison. You could be mad at the victims if you want to be, but in my role, you call that victim blame. And you might want to tread lightly in that sample. How does Sam burn your ass back with your prayer hands? I don't want to, I don't want to victim blame or victim shame. I will say, however, we got to be more selective in our people that we had dating and sitting. I saw the clip where he was like, he was like, you were mine. He didn't ever mention her name, but he was like, you were my love, you know, you the reason that I'm here. And he always had this angle. So it was pointing up. And then at the end, he was like, last thing, last thing, sitting at $3,000, please, I need to go ahead and take care of some things.

31:59And it needs to be straight cash. I was like, who, who falls for that? I don't know, but I will tell you this. I think that they're, are you sensitive because did he, did he slide in your dams? Bacari, if he would have slid in my dams, he would have slid back out on some sharp ass. He don't want this over here because I would have been sent his ass and be like, you got two seconds to get out of here before I call the police on you. But here's what I was going to say. What I think that really should be assessed is how relationships in our community, you know, especially younger people, how we got down this road where a young man would feel comfortable asking a woman to, you know, you know, I mean, he's just a crook. But like, why are you even comfortable asking for money? One, two, why, like when you don't know someone and they haven't really earned your respect and they fell upon hard times, like my parents went through stuff for my dad, fell upon hard times. That's that woman's husband. You know what I mean? That's different. You shouldn't be, I will never forget me.

33:01And this is where I am sensitive about it. I was dating somebody right out of law school. Well, after actually, yeah, was I working on the heels? I might have still been working on the hill. But this person, in particular, he took a lot of naps. He took a lot of naps. He took more naps than I could ever take naps. He took a lot of naps and he was, I'm going somewhere and he had his own business. And I remember feeling this obligation to like help him. I was not raised to be a girlfriend or two. And I didn't learn how to date properly. I learned how to be a wife. So I'm like, oh, you supposed to like look out. And then I was riding to work one day being in Steve Harvey morning show was on. Shout out to Steve Harvey. But I was listening to this radio show. And Steve Harvey was like running down why you should never give no dude you dating some money. And I was like, oh no. I was like, I can't do this. So we broke up shortly thereafter. But like I literally was like, okay, let me help him.

34:02But I would be mad in the back of my mind like, why is he taking so many naps running the business? Like you should be an asshole, brother. Anyway, but I'm sorry. I'm just saying I do feel empathy for those who, you know, we're giving this due money. But, you know, yeah, I don't know. I think he needs to learn differently. Yeah, we need to have a little bit more discernment. Lessons books, three lessons, three rich dad poor dad. I know that there's only the younger listeners may not remember this book. But in the 1990s, in 2000, that wasn't 90s. Wasn't, yeah, I was gonna say it was in 2000. And that book was jumping. It's all 32 million copies. I have one. It's revealed that Robert Kaya Saki is $1.2 billion in debt. Now the unique part about this is the question that I was having and I went down to rabbit hole. I was like, is he truly living the lessons of the book? Or is he scanning, right? Is he, I hear scamming people and or is he truly living the lessons of the book? If come to find out that there is a $1.2 billion loan tied to cash flowing apartments and

35:07that can still fit the logic a little bit. It's a little different than a car loan. But it's tied to roughly 1500 apartments owned with partners. And so it's not like he has $1.2 billion sitting on a credit card. It's actually cash flowing. So that's a very interesting concept of does he, is it the concepts that he taught and rich debt poor debt? But even more importantly, Angela, how does man get $1.2 billion? How many black folk you know walking up in Bank of America, Tom, but I need $1.2 billion to buy these condos? Well, we know that doesn't happen. There have been lawsuits that established. Why doesn't happen for most of the major banks. But I think that people probably saw him come in and were like, don't act like me. And Starstruck doesn't impact every single industry. They saw that do argument. I read your book. And they probably was able to probably get a lot of leverage just off of that. Plus, we don't know what business partnerships he has. We don't know the structure of the company. If he was leveraging some debt against some other debt, some stuff that I don't really

36:08know that well. Clearly, I need to learn it. But I don't know. I think that he looks a lot different than black people that would go in to say these things. And I think that he probably has some instant credibility off of the success of the book. Nothing else. We can just make him do a new audiobook at a new chapter. Is about to go up the number one again. I'm sure. But he came out in 1997. So it's almost 30 years in right now. Man, 97. I thought I was a little bit thousand. Go ahead. We got one. We got a good story. We do have a good story. I will just say this. I can't stand Duke or the folks who pretend to go. But here is a silver lining for Duke and an actual student from the school. He's a public policy major at Duke and clearly a community organizer. He is 20-year-old Ethan Carana. And I want to actually run his video from TikTok on this. And then we'll get back into this story. For too long, we have been told that poverty is inevitable and that the care you deserve should depend only on what you can afford. But today, we're changing that.

37:09I'm excited to announce we've partnered with the organization Undo Medical Detto to cancel $1.2 million in medical debt for Kaiohoga County residents living in poverty. We raise the funds that Undo then used to buy the debt and bulk in cancel permanently. Our initiative will help not only those who are currently living in poverty, but also those who are on the brink of poverty as well. If your family has up to four times the annual income of the federal poverty line or your debt is about 5% of your annual income, our relief will still help you. Altogether, our initiative is going to cancel close to 1,200 Kaiohoga County residents debt. These residents don't have to apply, sign up, call. All they do is simply receive a letter in the mail telling them that their debt has been canceled. Somewhere in Kaiohoga County is a family who believes that a bill is going to follow them for the rest of their lives. Our initiative will be the reason it does not. Although this alone will not end poverty for Kaiohoga County, our initiative serves as a reminder that our reality never has to be permanent.

38:12I love this. And so just so everybody understands this 20 year old Ethan Karana helped to erase 1.2 million dollars in medical debt for Kaiohoga County residents partnered with Undo Medical debt, which is a nonprofit based in Boston. They do this work all the time. He raised over $10,000 from some donors. They use that to buy up and cancel 1.3 million dollars in medical debt for medical debt for almost 1,200 Kaiohoga County residents. His organization is called the Better Future for Kaiohoga nonprofits like Undo do this regularly and they say that on average every $1 raised equals $100 in medical debt canceled. Ethan's stated organization's mission is to quote eliminate what we call the three evils of Kaiohoga County, which is poverty, violence and discrimination. He went on to say, and V, this is the thing that I really want to focus on. Again, this is a 20 year old who's still in college that by looking at a TikTok video, looks like he has political aspirations.

39:12He says he has to finish school first, but I love this particular point, especially because of the things that we say regularly about young people. He says quote, I think there's a lot of things that are said about our generation, you know, that we're the TikTok generation. We don't have an attention span. And I think a lot of folks in our generation start to believe that's true at a certain extent. We are a resilient generation and we're a generation that fought through the pandemic, fought through a lot of different tragedies in a short period of time. And I think for that reason, we can be the generation that will make poverty a problem of the past and make violence a problem of the past and create sustainable living communities that give Americans the best quality of life and Clevelanders the best quality of life. That was his statement to News 5, I believe, in Cleveland. I love this because it completely dismantles the stereotypes that we have about young people. And I know that this dude is going to run. He said he only did 20, but he looked like he is prime time ready. So shout out to Ethan. Now, shout out to Ethan, that's dope.

40:14And what you saw was the way he communicated that message to people was the way that I hope that politicians now learn how to communicate that message. And the reason being is because you saw that mom Donnie in him, when Mon Donnie was doing that face-to-camera in the middle of the streets, maybe at night. Well, it's dark. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you saw that. And a lot of times, sometimes it's the message, sometimes it's the messenger. And I hope people also realize that medical debt is how a lot of people become billionaires in this country and 100 millionaires in this country. And it's very easy to buy. And while it's weighing on your shoulders when you get the bills, there are people who are out there profiting off of it. So shout out to this young man for actually taking that public policy degree and seeing through it. Let's switch out before we get to my favorite part of the show, which is our conversation more. We should have ended our mind because I can't believe we got to go back into this nonsense. Go here, B. Well, I mean, this is a newer story that just broke while we were taping, but wrote a clip of, when Angela's ex-boyfriend.

41:15Right back before I saw you for defamation. Tiger was his man, he's boyfriend, Jake is. So this is the Martin County Courthouse in Stuart, Florida. And we got word that there might be a change of plea or you might have a plea deal. So then the judge sits down. He says, okay, we have an agreement. Both sides agree. They swore him in. And he said, it sounded like he said to Tiger, did you go over your form? He said, yes, did you sign it? Is that your signature? Yes. And then he said, so it's a five year suspension. It sounds like two five year suspension. So we won't be able to have a driver's license for five years. They also, Lawrence listed some charges, like $1,000, a FedEx charge, $500 bond, and 18 and couldn't force state attorney fee. There's something I wanted to point out. So like the woman in the clip, the woman in the clip is Vanessa Trump, his new girlfriend, which is just, oh, weird. And they were actually- Wait, you're saying the woman who's standing next to him or the woman who's talking? The woman who is standing next to him. Oh, yeah. That's his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump.

42:16And he got a five year driving suspension. He has two DUIs. And they ran, he got two five year driver's license suspensions to run concurrently. They made one exception for golf carts because he's Tiger Woods. But it's- He might not even need to be driving no golf car for you. Listen, but they don't have Uber carts. That's what I was looking for. You know what he should get, a skateboard. He need to- He need to- Yeah. In a helmet. Well, I am glad he's getting- I'm glad he's getting the healthy knees, but- But shout out to this- This fiasco, because if he could ever be healthy again, Tiger Woods is one of the greatest athletes we've ever seen. Who's all boo is Vanessa? Which one of the brothers? I can't remember. Lord, hell, imagine going to find your refuge in a Trump. Love finds everybody- So wait a minute. So he has to- Oh, not consecutive concurrent. So it's one five year- Yeah. He starts two sentences at the same time. No, I understand. So- So well, he can just afford a driver, though.

43:18Imagine somebody that got- That's what everybody said from the beginning. He should have been- He should have been used just using a driver. And a golf cart should be driven by somebody. I'm telling you, just dude, don't need to drive anything. He just- All he know in a driving is crazy. That's- Well, look. Here we go. So, now, let's pivot. And let's have this conversation. Because we were able to have an amazing conversation with Nikki Free about the clip that she played on air, about the frustration around the way that national Democrats et cetera are looking at Angie Nixon and her race. My comments on it. But it's a full conversation. So I hope that- I hope people enjoy- I hope people clip it. And I hope people put it out there. 49:22Welcome home, Nikki Glad. Thank you for joining Native Lampite. Thank you so much for inviting me on. I'm excited to have this conversation with you all. Yeah, for sure. I think first and foremost, I think I would be remiss if I didn't talk about your platform and courage people to go subscribe and watch what you do on Instagram. I'd become inundated with your platform over the past week. And appreciate, come to appreciate the news and the way that you distribute the news and how you do it. So I wanted to start there. We're gonna have a conversation, and I think it's best we frame it this way, because Angie Nixon has been a part of our conversation over the past week. And it's them from my comments on CNN. And I think we can have a larger conversation about is Florida in play? How do we make Florida in play? That's one part of it. We can talk about the rise of the left, and whether or not Angie Nixon's win demonstrates that or talks about that. And we can talk about even, as Angela probably wants to get to for a second, we can talk about the attacks of Laura Lumer. But the first thing I wanted to do was frame the discussion

50:25because there was a clip that you played on your show. And I believe it's on at, oh, I am Nikki free. I wanted to make sure that we put that up. I am Nikki free and we'll put it up in your cry on. And I will talk about it on the other end because I think one of the concerns that I have is that there was a narrative that somehow I was hoping that Alexander Vinderman would win the race. And because Alexander Vinderman did not win the race, I was encouraging individuals not to give to Angie Nixon. And we're gonna have that conversation because I wanted the full context of my comments, but I wanted George played first. Okay. Apparently vote blue, no matter who comes with an asterisk. Because when Democratic voters choose the wrong Democrat, some centrist would apparently rather forfeit the race than fight alongside the candidate voters actually chose. Establishment Democrat, Bacari Sellers, just demonstrated exactly what I mean.

51:26Angie Nixon defeated Alexander Vinderman in Florida's Democratic Senate primary. Not only did she beat him, she beat him by double digits and did it while being dramatically outspent. And what has been Sellers' assessment that Vindman was a poor candidate who ran a poor campaign. Fair enough that is true. However, Sellers went on CNN and said Nixon's victory was not some referendum showing the progressive left is ascended. And then he said something that really pissed me off. And I'm also just gonna have a blunt message for Democrats. We won't be wasting money in Florida now. Excuse me. So the reason that I wanted to play that is because the way that it was framed, it was framed as such that because Alexander Vinderman won the race and Angie Nixon did not win the race. That's the other way around. Is that the way around? I'm sorry, because Angie Nixon won the race

52:28and Alexander Vinderman, thank you. Angela did not win the race. I was encouraging people not to give her say to Florida because of that. But I wanted to play the clip in whole, not in whole, but not just that statement, but there was a statement that was made right after that, which added some clarification to my point, which I think adds context and kind of disabuses people of that notion. So let's play that real quick. And then we can discuss it on the other side. But Curry Sellers, I mean, when you watched the way Angie, Nixon was campaigning there, you could hear the passion. And in many ways, what the governor was just addressing there, being willing to fight seems to be the primary criteria for democratic voters these days. She clearly also had black support in Florida, which you could also see there. How would you look at the results out of Florida and apply them going forward? So first of all, let me just say this is going to be a weird moment for me agreeing with both Mark Pudow and Mark

53:29Sanford. I took pride in overriding the Greek, I know that Mark Sanford put before it's led to such a... But I have to throw the cold water on your premise here, Casey. I mean, the simple fact is, this isn't... Florida's not some display that DSA is on the rise. The fact is, we sent Debbie Washington Shots back to Congress, a Moscow-It's-Jer-Moscow, it's back to Congress, elected David Jolly. You saw a poor candidate lose a race because he ran poorly. This isn't some referendum on the far left or this left-persus establishment narrative that people want to talk about. And I'm also just going to have a blunt message for Democrats. We won't be wasting money in Florida now. We were going to be spending tons of money on a Senate seat that we were not going to win in Vindamine instead of spending money in North Carolina and Ohio and maybe even Iowa, Senate seats we can win. And now you're going to see that money not go to Florida, it's going to go to the places that are necessary, that we have a fighting chance, that we have an ability to win.

54:30And so the map has a funny way of realigning itself on primary night, and that's what happened last night. And so I think when you see the full context of the comments, it's not that we wanted, or I wanted Alex Vindamine to win. In fact, I'd say immediately after the quote that you pulled, that if Alex Vindamine had won, we were going to waste a lot of money on Alex Vindamine in a state that we cannot win. Because he was deemed to be the shiny star. He was deemed to be this champion of the resistance. And so my entire argument was, and this is one that I can get chastised on, I just wanted the full context. Florida is not a state that is a primary target if we're going to take the United States Senate back. That was my point. And I think at the full-clips plate that comes out, the other point is I was not attempting to, and I think I was clear with that, simply say, because Angie Nixon didn't win, don't get Florida money. I was saying, Florida is not a top-tier target regardless,

55:32and we were going to waste money with Andrew Vindamine. That was my thought. So we could talk about that first, and we can move to some other topics. Maybe that was the intent, but it did come across that way. It really came across that you were saying that the Democratic Party was really behind Vindamine. And I'm close with FDP, so I know how they're moving and that they were not supportive of Angie Nixon, or any of that. So what I heard, Bacari, and I'm glad you talked about the full context, but what I heard was, we thought this guy was going to win, we put money in Florida behind him. He didn't win, we're out because we don't think Angie can win. And I will tell you, my phone was ringing off the hook from Black women in Florida, saying, what is this? What is this? We have coalesced around this woman. White people have coalesced around her.

56:32I met Angie for the first time at Leadership Blue, and she invited me to her event. I walked up to her event with her. It was full of, it was a multicultural coalition, right? I, white men in pink t-shirts screaming for Angie. So I knew then, because I've been around Florida politics for so long, I was a reporter in Florida. I worked in state and local government in Florida. I've been around politics so long that I know that when white men are coalescing around a Black woman candidate, there's something special there. And I feel like the Democratic Party has washed their hands of Florida. Yes, Florida is a weird and difficult place for Democratic politics, but that has only been over the last 30 years. That only is really. Really over the last, and that's, that was, and really over the last six years to be completely honest, six years ago. It was a swing state, but I do want to, I do want to be extremely clear about this, because you're right, but my, and the way I hear you,

57:35but when you look in the comments and context for whatever it is, my only point and the only point I will continue to make is that if we're going to take back the Senate, I said that if Alex Vinderman would have won the race, that was a waste of Democratic. He would have been a waste of Democratic Party resources, which I still hold today, but I just want, go ahead, Angelin. And I wanted to throw this up just so we can talk about Florida real quick and see how we can move forward to, how do we make it a swing state, what needs to happen, and then we can have a blue versus Democrat versus DSA conversation if necessary. Yeah, I am, I think that this is, there are a couple of things happening here. The first is, it is true that Bacari is more moderate than me. That's probably you, Nikki. It is also true that we come from, you know, different political leanings, but all in all, I remember when we did, we talked about, you know, DSA on the show, we went through what Nick, I was saying, Nikki, what Angie Nixon platform was,

58:36I think writ large be you agreed with her platform. I think what's happening right now is, in this country, black people are under assault period, right? So if we go somewhere, I mean, if you were to run that clip back, for example, you were specifically asked about Angie Nixon from Casey, and I think in your answer, you don't even say her name, right? Right. And in your mind, you're saying, I'm not gonna say her name because I'm not trying to put sister harm's way. But in the minds of, hold on, I'm just gonna put some point in that I wanna hear, but I just want you to hear this perspective, this outside of the bubble of your remarks in that time. When you are constantly at odds, you know what it's like, because you're on CNN, you know I'd call the damn boy on CNN, and she's been called that, or worse, by the party in the state, from the head of the party in the state, who has not backed her, who she's had some really challenging conversations with,

59:37even now going into the general. So for a black man who is as informed as you are, who is as incredible as a strategist as you are, to not even say her name, and then to say, we're not gonna waste money in Florida now, in the minds of us who are just on defense right now. It feels like, damn, but Karri, they're Angie, they're wasting money. That's not what you meant. But understand, hold on, just this last point. I think that it's important for you to hear that in a moment where we're all grasping for whatever is gonna create change to get us out of this fascist, like bring that, and her efforts can't feel like a waste, especially when people for the first time are like, oh my God, we feel the energy we felt around Andrew. So I think that you have to say, in a dish, well, you don't have to say it. My suggestion would be contextualize this in your experience in South Carolina, running statewide, how that felt, you know, and then why you think

1:00:37Florida is not a good investment, particularly when we have someone that's functioning as a change agent. People didn't think Barack Obama could do it neither. But there's something that changed in the psyche, that we also don't want to, you know, turn a blind eye to, and she's got the it factor. I don't know if she's gonna get all the votes, but she's definitely not if people feel like you're saying, or people are saying, it's a waste of money. Now all that hope gets shrank. And so I think that there's this balance that we have to walk this not fair where it's, here's the strategy play, here's why this is unlikely, but here's the thing that we could do to inspire enough change and of, oh, to change the normal outcome is all I'm saying. And I hear that, I mean, I hear that, and I receive that, like that, that's not, my problem is not receiving it. That's one of the reasons that, that Nicky's on the show, right? And that's one of the reasons that I don't go in comments and talk this and that, because my biggest issue was that it was just that piece of the comment and not the full comment. I get people enough comment, I get people enough content to be mad at me for whatever.

1:01:38But when I look at Florida, right? And this is about harm reduction, right? This is about eliminating harm. I find and I feel that the best way that we improve the plight of African Americans and Black folk in this country is to have a democratic majority, right? And that's the frame that I'm looking at, a democratic majority in the Senate, a democratic majority in the House. And yes, we can have conversations about Schumer and we can have conversations about the Kim Jeffries. But right now we have 60 days left into the election. So when I'm looking at this frame, I'm like, I'm trying to make sure we win these Senate seats. And Nick, what I wanted you to do was just put up, put up this vote share, because when Nicky was talking about the last 30 years, one of the things that I pulled was that, it's not even been 30 years, it's really been six years. And I'll tell you about not too deep of a personal conversation. But if you look at the last six years in Florida, the vote share for Biden when it was actually a swing state was 47.86 for Charlie Chris, who was also a terrible candidate, it was 40%. For Kamala, it was 43%.

1:02:40And for, I mispronounce her name all the time. Merck, can you help me pronounce it, Miss Nicky, I'm sure you know a better than I do. I can't see the screen. It's 2024. Macarcel Powell. Macarcel Powell? Oh yeah, Macarcel. Macarcel, yes. And she ran, it was 42%. And so the entire point that I'm making is that if we are talking about taking back the Senate, if we're having this national conversation, respectfully, Florida is not a part of that national conversation. Now, if we want to talk about what does Angie mean, I'm contributing to Angie. We've had a conversation, right? And I asked her kind of point blank, what are we doing in, what do you, and she talked about some of the things that they're doing with the Hispanic voters in Florida. We talked about that. We had that conversation kind of the way that these conversations, sometimes I wish more people would pick up the phone and call folk. I think that's very important and very powerful, but she asked me to contribute. I said, of course, her fundraising team is going to reach out to me to do some fundraising. I said, of course, because even though,

1:03:40in the point, and this also may be a point that's hard to realize when you're a candidate, even by running, a lot of times you can help out house seats, which regardless of whether you're the FDP or Angie Nixon, you need that in Florida. And then maybe in four years or six years or eight years, you can pull off a statewide victory. That's kind of how these things are built. But Florida is just not a state that from my perspective, when we're talking about harm, when we're talking about the success and what 2026 success looks like, a state where Dems will be able to prevail. And that was my point, whether or not it was Vindamin, I thought we were going to do the same thing we did with Vindamin that we did with Beto O'eror, which is everybody was going to go down there and we were going waste all this money whereby we could help John Ossoff, we could help Roy Cooper, we could help Sheridan Brown, we could actually go in these places to Alaska, New Hampshire and win. That's why my next comment I thought was so important to the first one. Well, I think sometimes when we, and I understand statistics and the numbers

1:04:43and digging into all of that, but sometimes the way we frame that to the public discourages us from voting. It discourages us from being active in the whole political process. Because if you say Florida is not in play, then you're playing to these people who are like, well, why am I voting anyway, right? And I understand that that is important, but we also have to understand the importance of framing the message in a way that continues to get people out to vote. People are excited about Angie. Her race was historic and nobody is talking about that. Look at how long it took, the leadership of the Democratic Party to even say, damn girl, you did that. She was outspit 12 to 1 and be 18 to 1 and beat him by 12 points. That is something to fricking celebrate whether or not you think Florida is in play or not. And as Angela said, black women are so frustrated. We are the backbone of this party.

1:05:44And when we hear, well, Florida's not in play and we don't think Angela, you didn't say that Angie is not going to win or that Angie is not a great candidate. But the way you framed your comments was very much. We always more money in Florida, this girl won. We don't know where she's the assay. We're not gonna waste money there. But she has an energized campaign. And I think the Democrat Party does itself a huge disservice when we say this state is not in place when we're moving on. When I think what Stacy Abrams was able to do in Georgia, when you get outside of Atlanta, you go to those rural counties in Georgia, you know this shirt's out there. There's a whole lot of black people down there. And a whole lot of black people that want to vote, that want to vote for candidates that have come and spoken to them. And a lot of times my family has roots in Barnesville, Georgia, right, between making and Atlanta, right? There's so many black people down there. When we go and talk to those people,

1:06:44they're like, young first people that came down here to talk to us. Did you even get us to go vote? And so the Democratic Party just, there's so many of us out here that are hungry to work with the Democratic. Tell us where you want us to go meet people. Tell us where you want us to go meet people at. But y'all say, you're in Florida, I'm dead. We're not investing anything down there, right? I watched Angie move. I watched Alexander Venman run from creators and reporters at MD. And he was, he was awful. Well, he was still getting backrored. And this woman is out there fixing her car on the side of the damn road. And she can't even get a million dollars. What is this? What is this? And when the, I'm sorry, let me just say this. One thing when the Democratic Party does not consistently call less around something, you might not think they can win. But at least give them a shot. At least get in front of the people and say, you she ran a great race. This is a good candidate. We should probably do more for.

1:07:46And you guys are just leaving some of us out here like, I'm tired. My husband told me when Barack was running, listen, you need to do something. You need to figure something out. You even need to stop giving Jesus so much money with Tyden or stop giving Barack so much money. Because we can't have this much money going out of the house. And now we're just like, should we continue to work? I think one of the, I think one of the, one of the agreements that we have is something that you mentioned earlier, which doesn't get enough credit. I always, I just mentioned it on my solo pod this week. But when you talk about John Ossoff and Raphael Warlock, people oftentimes forget Stacey Abrams and the work that she did. Now, the reason that I bring that up is because that is not something that happened in August, September of election year. And people forget that, right? And I don't know who gave Alexander Vennman money, right? That was just that, that was the ditch in my crowd. I got somebody else who hasn't entered my crowd too. But I ain't trying to, I'm not trying to deal with the state of Texas too. I already got Florida on my ass. I ain't trying to deal with the state of Texas because Texas ain't really in the top.

1:08:48You notice? And that's the funny thing about it. When the clip got played, I have friends of mine who were like, well, you not mad at them for giving all that money to James Talleriko. I was like, I didn't even mention Texas. So yeah, I was like, I didn't even, I don't even know how I got thrown under the bus with Texas, right? Because you are on television almost every night. And you are by default an official spokesperson for the Democratic Party and for black people in that party just by default. Yeah. And so I'm just telling you my urgency, my urgency and this is this, and I do believe that, that whether or not it's me, you, Angela Rye, Angie Nixon, that if we want Florida to be in that conversation, that it starts yesterday and we go and we invest in those rural areas and we raise the money necessary to do that target. So when Angie runs in two years or four years, because my comments weren't a condemnation on her campaign or who she is, my comments simply were the state of play.

1:09:51And if we want that state of play to improve, and I understand your point about framing it and driving voters out, I hear that. But if we want that and I receive that, but if we want that state of play to change, one of the things we have to do, whether or not it's within the Democratic Party or auxiliary to the Democratic Party is, we need to make sure that we're mobilizing in these black rural areas, where these voters are, or South Carolina, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, will continue to be outpaced by North Carolina. Roy Cooper is going to raise $100 million. I've already had a fundraiser. Go ahead. Let me just say this really quick, because I want to go back to this. One thing Nikki you mentioned is, because Angie's DSA, Angie has said she is not DSA. She's aligned with working families. She has made it clear that she does not want to be, she got the commercial where she's like, I'm not in this box. That's the y'all's thing. I'm over here working on issues. And I think that's the other thing that's really, really important. Part of the wedge between her and the party establishment is her,

1:10:51the way that she talks about politics. Medicare for all, which kids should have the right to, what the government should be doing for us. And there are people that are the more moderate wing of the party who have led and had called the purse drinks in Florida that thought that was too radical. The reality of it is the base of voters in Florida is not going to increase without something a little more radical. And that doesn't mean you have to label it socialism. Right? It could just be progress. And I think that's the other really important thing when she was on this show. We did a solo pod B. And when we had that conversation, Angie's whole office is buzzing. And the reason why I was buzzing is because she and the rest of her campaign were getting ready to go hit the streets. They were going to knock on doors and Maxwell Frost was down there and all of that. There is something that's happening. And I do think it's incumbent upon us to say, you know, the way that we've been doing this hasn't been working. Maybe it's time to do something different. And I think that is the hurt. People don't just come to you or want to hear from you,

1:11:54commentary and analysis, you know, a post game commentary. It's also like, no, you can drive this, but you have ideas about how they could win. So what are the things that you would lay out to help them with? You're doing a fundraiser, friends. You had a strategy call with her, all of these other things that help her get closer to the victory. We've gotten close with Andrew. There's not, again, I'm not in Florida, but from what I understand, there's not been this much excitement around the candidate since him. He was 32,000 votes away if you believe they counted all the ballots. I don't. From beating Rhonda Santis, these folks have finally found something to put their hope back in after being like down Trotten and hopeless about if there was a pathway for a not only a Democrat, but especially a Black one. Yeah, right. I hear you. I mean, my trepidation comes on the other side of that debate too. And I totally hear you. And I think that there's a lot of work that we can do in Florida as a collective, right? And will that bear fruit in three months? I don't know, right? I ain't getting nobody. But go ahead. Well, I will say we're spending so much time talking about,

1:12:57and I don't mean us in this literal sense right here, but I mean, in general, we're spending so much time talking about who, Angie Nixon isn't, or if she has the ability to win. And we're not talking about Ashley Moody being caught up in this $10 million, you know, fraudulent scandal. Yeah, I mean, she needs to go to prison. Right. And so we're not, but nobody is talking about that. Nobody in the Democratic Party is talking about. We absolutely have an opportunity to fight in Florida, because people are pissed off in Florida on both sides of the aisle about the diversion of this money to the governor's wife's charity. And then to political action committees, people are talking about that. And people are frustrated about it. Every day, Ron DeSantis, Ashley Moody and the rest of them are changing their story. So we do have an opportunity to really go after a bad, no, does she disappear for you?

1:13:57She disappeared for me. I don't know what happened. Yeah, you keep talking about Ashley Moody if you want to. They go on to Ron DeSantis take all you, but I mean, along the other lines, can I just talk about this is, this is, this means I'm not necessarily taking your advice Angela, because this is going to be a little bit in the weeds. I'm sorry, but like nobody's having a conversation about how Democrats in Florida and beyond have alienated Hispanic voters in Florida in particular. And what we're going to name black ones too. I think that's kind of the point. Oh, I know. I agree with you. I agree with you. Well, let me tell you, let me let me play some part of the reason, part of the reason we've seen over the last six years, those numbers declined from 47 to the low 40s is because Hispanic voters, and you know, that's a wide variety of voter, which I've learned in Florida in particular. We can't lump them in. And that's something Democrats have been doing, lumping them all in together, messaging singularly to them. Yes. But go ahead. That's because we don't have, and as much as I hate to throw a democratic party,

1:14:57the state and the national party under the bus, we don't have a strategic communications plan on how to talk to people. I grew up in Orlando. I didn't grow up around a lot of Cubans, but you know who I grew up around a lot of, a lot of Puerto Ricans. And they are very different in their politics than Cubans are. And we don't talk to them the same way. We love everybody in the same group. And we on the ground in Florida, that makes up, you know, a lot of Caribbean people, a lot of people from Haiti, a lot of people from Puerto Rico, and the rest of us, we sit and talk about how the democratic party does not reach out to us and how they find sometimes more, for lack of a better word, they find more, more, more in common sometimes with the way Republicans are talking to them, right? Not that they believe everything that they say. That's the fact. Yeah, that's the fact. But we also have to deal with racism,

1:15:58like, you know, between Black and Latino communities as well. And I think especially when you talk about Cubans and South Florida, that's the whole thing. And then them trying to label, and they're already Argentinians. But yeah, I hear you. Yeah, that's true. But they are specifically trying to sound the alarm and blow a dog whistle about Angie to them. Speaking of dogs, I wanted to talk about one, Laura Loomer. But we want to get you out of here. But let's, we got to talk about this, Angela, going to have a whole conception. Now, I'm going to talk about it. Because there should be a bi-partisan and Black women and Black man agreement on this one. So let's go ahead and run this dog's clip, Laura Loomer. But what you have to understand that stereotypes exist for a reason. And if you are one of these people that doesn't want a stereotype out there, then, you know, maybe you should start speaking out. If you are a member of the Black community and calling out this behavior, call out the entitlement of these, as I like to call them, ghetto Black bitches.

1:17:01And no, that's not, that is not painting all Black women with the same brush. But there, there is a stereotype. And I've noticed the stereotype exists in the Democrat party. And I don't think it belongs in the United States Senate. Unfortunately, it's already in the United States Congress. And we've seen very destructive, very destructive policies and very destructive behavior already carried out by, by these women. I'm just going to read their names. And I think they all fall in the same category. Angie Nixon, Ilhan Omar, Iana Presley, Cory Bush, Kataji Brown Jackson. I mean, look at that disaster. Look at that disaster on the Supreme Court. Number one, this dumb, I said that you're already seeing this in the United States Congress. Angie Nixon's not elected yet, but you wouldn't know that because you don't take civics. Then she named a Supreme Court Justice, Kataji Brown Jackson. And then she also named someone who's no longer in the United States Congress.

1:18:01None of these women should be called ghetto. I'm sure they're happy to be called black. And definitely not a bitch from this broad. So I just, I wanted to stop there for a minute because I think Nikki, even though this didn't happen before Bacari's commentary on air, we're always carrying the weight of that. Right? That's something that I think we also have to just navigate through. And in this particular hour, black men need to be protected one another. Certainly need to be protecting black women and vice versa. And everybody does, you know, they them in between. We've got to make sure we've protected the black family, the black folks. So I just wanted to play that because I think that our response to what she's doing should be loud. I think that we should be calling on the Republican Party and all these candidates to disavow Laura Lumer and to demonstrate that they don't support anything that she says and condemn her and work to get her off air because that's blatant racism. So I wanted to play that because I thought that encapsulated perfectly why we can't sound like we're anything but united in this moment.

1:19:02Absolutely. And remember before Laura Lumer even said that, Alexander Vendman's wife did a dog whistle and talked about Angie's clothes and Angie's shoes. So we had to fight that in Florida. I didn't hear about that. Oh yeah, she talked about Angie and Angie getting her clothes from the good, well, she need to get a better pair of shoes and all this, yeah, we had to fight that dog whistle. So I may have been on edge with her when I made that video. I mean, I was, but I mean, the only point I was trying to make by having you on the list. I was just listen. I was glad to be lost. That's all. No, but, but I think what you're not, what you're not hearing be here. No, I hear you. I hear you. No, I trust you. So then I'm saying don't double down in the BS. We understand your point is something different, but hear the protection point that's needed. I think that the protection is. I think that the question is. I think that the question is. I think that the question is. I think that the question is. I think that the question is. I'm succeeding. But no, congratulations to Angie. And we're doing that work. But also there is a certain level of.

1:20:05There is a certain level of the work that we do is black men in our communities day in and day out. It's the support that people don't know that you were with Johanna Hayes or they don't know that you were with Lisa Blunt Rochester or they don't know that you were with the Senate candidate in Maryland or they don't, I mean, I just. But be that your responsibility to share it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. And I don't, that's why I'm trying to get to the point that I feel like conversations like these are way more healthy. Because because what happens is what happens is when you have a comment here, when you have a comment there, when you create content, we're all content creators, right? They're narratives out there to get spun. This way, that way, people call you all types of names. They're in your DMs, people like, why you hate this woman? And I'm like, I'm like, I'm, I'm maxing out. I don't hate her. I'm making this is what it is. And so my only point is that as, as while, yeah,

1:21:09protection goes two ways too. And I want people to understand that. Protection definitely goes two ways. And yes, the message is, Bacari Sellers do a better job of protecting Angie Nixon, even though she probably don't want it or need it. I hear that and I receive it. But I'm also saying that as we are responsible creators, we have to make sure that the allies that we have, the people who we know, we might disagree with each other 15, 20% of the time. But I also know that I'm always bet on black, right? That's going to be, that's going to be where we end. Because my goal was to make sure we have a Senate that can help black folk. And so if I missed the mark in my comments, I can completely hear that. But I just want to make sure that whether or not we jumping on lower loom in who looks different every year, right? She's just an unattractive person. You should condemn lower loomers comments that lose the young trouble for that too. Inside and outside. But some things, I mean, like some things is just like, nah, be done as soon as I mean. It's not like the next headline is going to be like Bacari on his own podcast did not.

1:22:10No, it's not. No, they're going to be like, they're going to say Jasmine, Crockett and Telerik and Bacari Sellers team up against James Telerik. And I'm like, I'm just, I'm not even, I'm just out here just trying to do what's right, Miss Nikki free. But I do want to say that I appreciate you because you did not have to give you a time. It is the most valuable thing that you have. I hope people do subscribe to your platform. You don't owe me any favors. But if you do clip a clip, can you please clip the whole thing next time? I'm about it. I talked about it. I just showed you the one part of the clip. Yeah, I don't want to get the backside. I wanted to get the backside of it. I'll make a list of things. And I promise you, it is in, I agree with you. It is important to have these type of conversations. And when you all reached out and asked me to come on, I wasn't going to shy away from it. Because I want to make sure that you understand my, where I was coming from in the context in which I heard your comments. And then when my phone started ringing and other people interpreted your comments the same way I did, then I said, you know what, let me make this video.

1:23:11And I appreciate you all reaching out and us having this conversation. Because now I better understand where you're coming from. But I do think the Democratic Party should not waste time, should not, should not spend time. So they should, you should, yeah, should spend time in Florida. And in some of these other states, don't give up on the South. Come on, Andrew, uh, uh, Andre Dickens said in Atlanta about the DNC, don't give up on the South. We are doing the work down here. We really are. Well, I'm in California today. But we're doing the work and trying to make sure that our voices are heard and that we have great candidates. We are, black people are the backbone of the Democratic Party, give us some infrastructure, give us some resources to get the job done. Period. And let's do it. Now, the one thing I do want to say that I really appreciated about the conversation between you and Nikki is if you all are intentional, not in finding points of disagreement, but in points of unity, you'll hear that Nikki and Bacari didn't really disagree on much. If you listen to this conversation, I think the second thing that's really important is I try especially with Black folks to live my life under the principle of doing no harm. And so my encouragement to all of us, whether it's Nikki, it's NLP, you know, it's our friends, um, um, Garrison doesn't really do that, but Liz, I'm going to say Liz, I'm going to say Joy, um, I'm going to say Michael Harriet, a Roland, um, breakfast club or breakfast club family, um, um, Laney, uh, Kenny, that's too raw to real.

1:31:24My urging to us all is before we make that clip, before we add that comment, pick up the phone, y'all, call somebody and ask them if this is what they meant before you make that clip. Now, here's the temptation and actually be this can just be my CTA, okay? Okay. So here's the temptation. The temptation is to do what is necessary to drive and increase in our followers to get a lot of repose, to get a lot of likes. But if you begin your intention with what is the thing that you would want someone to do if the roles are reversed, I think that you would make a different decision nine times out of 10. So that's my ask that we constantly think through if we were clipped out of context or if there was something that we were trying to get at, give someone the benefit of the doubt because that is what we need to make sure that we live peaceably among us. How dare you take off your damn headphones in the middle of this beautiful, not your beautiful. I was trying to switch them out. They slip right on the curls, slip top to curls.

1:32:26Anyway, I don't know what that is. Anyway, now that Beyonce's back, I'll finish the same in my beautiful summation that I really want us to work harder at loving each other and be resistant towards canceling each other. Not my thing, I'm a nigga. No, I'm with you. Yeah, I'm with you. No, and I, you know, I tried to not participate in all of that because life is too short. The other point that I wanted to make better at it than maybe I will say that you do better because I'll be right there in the comments rumbling and I need to stop because it's probably about anyway.
