1:03Winnipeg Jets on the ice, and off the ice. Now, it might not be outlandish to suggest that with just 22 games left in the regular season for the Winnipeg Jets, the season might be on the line tonight, Thursday night against the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning, waking up this morning, their latest contest. The Jets set nine points out of a blast spot. Now if they win, Seattle Kraken or Idle, they could get seven points out. That would be a big bonus, right? But still a massive hill to climb coming back from the break. The Jets have done well, though, grabbing six out of a possible eight points and have gained two points in the standings. And outright lost to a team like the Tampa Bay Lightning, who've lost three in a row, and are coming off a five-one embarrassing defeat to the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday, might be too crushing to overcome. And a step back on the eve of the NHL trade deadline, where major changes could be on the horizon. Oh, is it safe for us to ask if the season is on the line against the bolts account of the Life Center? And I need to correct something yesterday when we were on the show and Tyler Myers got traded. Yeah. You were devastated by this. I was shocked that they would eat that much money and then to find out that they're not eating that much money. No. So I forgot that Tyler Myers reupped on a deal that paid him three million. I believe it was this offseason if I'm not mistaken. Yeah. So I thought he was still making six million and the Dallas stars were getting Vancouver to eat four and a half. They're not. It's a three million dollar deal. So they're splitting the difference. You can only retain 50% so that makes sense. I was, I was off my road. There's been some, this was when the deal came through on the air. I was like, what? Yeah. There's been some other big. Actually, there's been a shout out. Oh, I'm sorry to interrupt. Shout out to Scott, one of our listeners emailed me and let me know the deets on that. So appreciate it, Scott. Yeah. There's some other trades going on. So we'll, we'll break those down as well as there was some big halls being tossed around yesterday and we'll give our thoughts on that and also as well.

5:09I think we should actually talk about this right off the bat before we get into it. Tyson and Wiki's here. We're going to be talking about something else, but Colton Perenco saying, no, no, no, Buffalo for Moa, poor, poor, poor, Moa, I believe he said Buffalo, I'd rather go to Winnipeg. Yeah. What do they got? What I got there, other than Niagara Falls and chicken wings and slamming into tables. Did you know at Buffalo Bill that I could go to win a bill, take in wash method and Boston pizza? And garbage, garbage plates. And it is a shame like, when we look at like the hockey side of it, that would be the best defense in the NHL. I'm, I'll say this, Perenco should have went, man. What the heck? I know it's like you. Well, if you're looking at future and he's got a lot of years left, I would think Buffalo is a brighter future than if I was him, I would have went, I would have went, I would have went. No, if there's like a family situation or something right now that he wants to stay in. Yeah, you never know. But St. Louis is a lot like Fort McMurray Alberta, though, if you've ever been.

6:12I'm kidding. It's quite the opposite. Yeah. It's a nice arch. I know. But Buffalo, like, Buffalo is like again, it's like another place that gets a bad rap, but everybody who lives there loves it and it's a great place. And I think people like bars are open till 4 a.m. I actually know like I was surprising off about reality. Yeah, that's how people get, that's what Evander Cain and Patrick, Evander Cain and Patrick Cain get into trouble in Buffalo because of the late game. Well, I'm very sad to report because he's one of my favorite players. I think this is a big mistake. But DJ Morrison is way to Buffalo. Good for him. No, it's not. I'm not even an NFL guy, but I used to be a big NFL guy and the bills were my team. And as soon as they started being good, I stopped watching, so I don't know if that makes sense. That makes sense. Maybe you're like the, you're the curse. I must have been. I'm very happy. I mean, I had to be involved in it. Tyson, what do you got first? You've done some research. 8:15a bit of a log jam in a certain position. Maybe they're kind of falling out of favor in the organization. And then I got a couple names from each team. The next game, Valardi. Exactly. That's why I wanted to lead in with that clip from them. Because I knew that I was going to I was saving that line that I was going to say. That's just that's just great foreshadowing. Well. Yeah. I just pat myself. A bit of a pro. You know, we all acknowledge that the Jets clearly have issues in bringing in players here. So I wanted to look at some players that could be available that don't have any no trade protection. And that could be reasonable ads. You know, like I'm not going to be like, well, maybe they'll get Tim Stutzler. Like, no, that's just not going to happen. So. They behave. Don't say never. Don't say never. I went through every team. And there's a couple names. I'm not going to go through every team. Because I'll take way too long. So if anyone wants to text in about some potential names, be happy to answer some questions. But uh, two or four, seven, eight, zero, six, eight, six, eight. But I highlighted five teams, six teams here.

9:16And number one, start off with Columbus and Ken Johnson. Oh, I love. This is. This is a no brain. I took a great one. It's. I mean, look at Trevor Ziegress last year and what he got in the off season. He went for Ryan Paling and a second round pick. Trevor Ziegress went for a fourth line center and a second round pick. That was a mid second round pick. And Trevor Ziegress was more established. Ken Johnson. He's been scratched by two different coaches now this year. And former top five picking again, like, I'm not saying I'm a huge Ken Johnson fan. I think that he's the going to be the solution for the top six. But he could be. You could get a Trevor Ziegress there. And I think that he'll be pretty cheap to get right now. So that's one name I'm particularly looking at. I like it. Montreal Kirby doc. Kirby doc is. He's had injury troubles. He's had some questions about how willing he is to kind of compete at a high level. But again, another top former top pick who could be a guy that maybe finds his groove and want to pick gets a change of scenery. That was it. When Montreal picked him up, that was a big gap at the time.

10:17Yeah. And that was like. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That was a. They got injured a lot though. Yeah. He just has been a little funnest right. And ended up getting traded for a first round pick. That would not be the case. I mean, I saw that. Yeah. Simon Nemich is a guy that the judge should absolutely do whatever it takes to get him. And I'm not joking about that. I totally agree with you, man. And why is he playing in New Jersey though? He is playing. They just have such a log jam of guys. There's just ways. I just meant like in these scenarios. Oh, yeah. No, he's been, I mean, he's got a lot of him. He's got a lot of him. He's got a lot of him. He's got a lot of him. He's got a lot of him. Yeah. Yeah. He's got a lot of him. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not joking about that. I totally agree with you, man. Yeah. I mean, he's got a lot of him. He's got a lot of him. He's got a lot of him. He's got a lot of him. He's got a lot of overtime goals, game winning goals. He was out for a little bit here. And I think they are trying to showcase, you know, like the Duggy Hamilton. They're going to play Luke Hughes more and Hamilton. Right. Like there's just, which is kind of crazy. And they got to open the, you know, Queen Hughes is going to be there in a couple of years. Yeah. They got to play some guys out. But you would be looking at like a culper-fetti plus, plus type package for Nemich.

11:18And I don't know if the Jets have the appetite to do something like that. Do they even have the, they don't have, do they have the appetite or do they even have the assets to make it? I think they, I think they do. I think if you did Perfetti first and how deep of a cut would it be though? I think if you did Perfetti first in Logan Stanley, I think you get pretty close. I don't know if he can take anybody off the forward group. That's a problem, I guess. Right. Especially Perfetti starting to score now. For sure. And so that was, ankles feeling better. That's more of a pipe dream, unless like I like gave Valardi suddenly became available and I just don't see that happening. Next team, the Philadelphia Flyers, they have so many winners, like a ridiculous amount of winners. And there's a lot of rumors around this guy right now about Bobby Brink. He's going to be an RFA after this year. He's from Minnesota, grew up played in Minnesota. So maybe that's kind of a nice spot for him to land on Winnipeg, kind of close to home and he'd be cheap to get, wouldn't take too much. Maybe a second round picker and equivalent back up the Brink truck. And I do wonder if the Flyers trade Rasmussen line and is there potentially a Dylan

12:23D'Amello for Bobby Brink swap or maybe a Dylan D'Amello plus something else for Owen Tippett. And Owen Tippett would bring a ton of speed to this lineup. Do you know what is a fair question asked? Do you think the jets would make a hockey move with guys like D'Amello? Like if somebody came along and said, like we're talking about, like I know Pyeong just signed. Pyeong's got a lot of great hockey for the next three, four years left in him for at least. But do you think they would do like Peranko's on the board? He's got term left. Weger just went to Utah with a ton of term left. Do you think they would look at even two years left on D'Amello and go, if you could give us Brink, we would do that because as much as D'Amello will, will say this year's an anomaly, be good for two more years, it's just we're going to get younger and just as good. Do you think they would do that? They shouldn't shy away from it. They should do it. Yeah. They should do it. You have to be creative and that's and look at what Ottawa did last year, trading Josh Norris for Dylan Cousins and just like those types of hockey tricks.

13:25Yeah. Those are the things that you kind of have to be looking at. And I just wonder if, if Rasmussen-Linen's gone from Philly, that leaves a hole on the right side and that potentially opens a pathway for the jets to maybe get a, maybe get a forward that the flyers might give up on a little bit easier because they have so many winners. They need to get rid of guys. What would you have to pay all those names I would, I would welcome. And lastly, sorry, Jim, just really quickly, Nick Robertson from Toronto. He's been out of favor for so long. I don't even, like you could maybe get him for a fourth or a fifth round pick. You might get him for Logan Stanley. You could probably get something with Nick Robertson for Logan Stanley. That's, I just don't think there's, he has any value at this point, but he's a guy that's worth taking a risk on. So back to Ken Johnson, he's a guy that, that I like the most, but he's really fought, like he was an Olympian last Olympics in 2022 and not only Olympian, he had five points in five games. He's fallen off the map. Like the world juniors, he was nine points in seven games in 2022 as well. He played in the juniors and Olympics in 2022.

14:28He's got the skill, man, it's just, it's from Port Moody BC, but so here's a thing. He broke into League in 21, 22. He's a fifth overall pick and had three points in nine games, three assists. And in 79 games, the next year, he had 40 points, very decent for a guy's first NHL season, 40 points on a Columbus team, right? The next year, he had 16 points in 42 games, he was injured. Then he went to the NHL for the playoffs, he had 15 points in 10 games. He then came back last year and had 57 points in 68 games, 24 goals, but that's when Dean Everson, who is kind of like Manitoba's Darryl Sutter, you got to play D, you got to play 200 foot or, yeah, you know, you're not going to play. So maybe that was a thing, 68 games, he was injured, I think again, Lasher. This year, he's got 18 points in 57 games and been a healthy scratch twice under two different coaches. Yeah. Sorry, Everson didn't bench from Lasher. Everson this year and then the next year. So he's 23 years old. What would that cost? Well, a 23 year old center, and we have to assume Columbus isn't going to give him away,

15:32but we have to assume that Columbus is like, ah, we're kind of souring on it. Well, and you mentioned his kind of resume there, Trevor's Egress again. He went for Ryan Paling in a second round pick, a fourth line center in a second round pick. You're telling me that Zegris had back to back 60 point seasons in Anaheim, like carrying the offense himself. Ken Johnson hasn't done that. So you know what I would do is I, and this is why again, the needle reader writers, the Dylan D'Amelos. Needle writers not going there because Columbus is trying to fix this and build. Like I would package a D'Amelo. And a pick, here's something that I, if you're not getting the pick that you want for Logan Stanley, let's say the Jets have decided to, let's see, the Jets have decided to move on. Yeah. Logan Stanley for Ken Johnson, who really says, no, that's not, I'm sorry, that's not going to get it done. He's a 23 year old center. I think a lot of multiple 50 point seasons. I really do think that I will, Jim, and I think that I really, I'm sorry, 150 point

16:34season, 57 points. He's at a 40 point season. He's 23 years old and he's a center and you think you're going to get him for 27 years of defense? I'm a team acquiring him. I'm like, well, you're, have two coaches that benched him. He's clearly not going to be a long-term piece in your organization right now. And I just look at the Trevor Zegers trade and it's very similar situations and Zegers was a little bit more established and he really didn't get that much. And now look what he's done so far this year. I think that this is a chance where you can really buy a low on a guy who's at his all-time lowest value and then just build that up yourself. I hear everything you're saying, but if I'm Columbus, I'm, I'm not, yeah, we'll bench him again next year if he doesn't play better, but he's 22 years old, you're going to have to pay for him. 18:39on the ice against, and it's just recognizing that they can turn in a hurry and they can score goals and create opportunities, and we've got to be when that puck crosses our red line. We have to have our numbers and we've got to do the job against them. That was again, Scott Arneal, Eric Erlenson, the lightning insiders join in the program right now. Hey, Eric, how are you? So I was listening to Scott, Scott, I was listening to John Cooper following the 5-1 loss to the Minnesota wild, and now I'm not going to sit here and say that he'd like the result, which he clearly didn't, but he didn't necessarily hate the game in its entirety and how his team played. What did you make of that? Yeah, well, you know, they're trying to build themselves back up, you know, the break affects teams in different ways, and certainly I think they're rhythm and everything else they had going on for them, leading into the break when they won, you know, 19 out of the 21 games that they had played, and you know, they won the game against Toronto coming out

19:42of the break, but it wasn't, you know, a typical sort of lightning type of game. So they're trying to build it up, and I think that there were signs in that game again, against Minnesota, where you're like, okay, they look a little bit more like themselves, not close to what they want to be, but in the right direction. So I can understand his comments, you know, still giving up a little bit too much time in space, especially off the rush, where they've been really good this year, and now teams are just attacking them with speed, and you know, they just haven't kind of caught up back to game speed coming out of the break. So I understand why Coop made those comments after the game. Scott O'Neill just talked about how dynamic the top sixes are. I want to take you back a couple of years when Steven Stamco's left, and I kind of thought while the contracts, everything's going to catch up to them. And then I was looking at the lightning coming into this season, and like, this team is absolutely stacked. And how do they keep doing that when they trade picks and they're up against the cap and all that, what are some of the younger players, or maybe the more shrewd moves they've

20:45made over the couple of years that when they didn't bring Stamco's back kind of like, you know, this is going to work out for us. Well, I think the big one going back to 22 was the acquisition of Brandon Hagel, right? They blew up a lot form, and people were questioning, well, why are you giving up so much for Brandon Hagel? And now he's a 90 point guy, 30 goals score, you know, he kills penalties, you know, him and Sarelli have such really good chemistry that, you know, they've been able to kind of, you know, find a pairing, especially on a PK together for those two guys, that's how you do it. And now, you know, because you look at the way that, you know, a lot left town because they couldn't afford them, Alex Colorn left town because they couldn't afford them because of the cap situation they were in, you know, especially in the Stamco's leaving town because of the cap situation, and then they couldn't find something that worked under the cap for them. But that's how you do it. You bring in the Hagels, you know, Sarelli still just, you know, 29 years old, and, you know, he's out for the rest of the season with Dominic James as a guy that they signed out

21:47in the college, right? A former six-round pick of the Black OX who, you know, turned pro this year and immediately jumped into their lineup and was playing some top six minutes because of the injuries that they had and he fit right in. I mean, that's how you have to do it. When you trade away your first and second round picks, the way that Gilliam Brazball has over the past number of years, you have to find different ways to kind of retool your roster so that everybody's not getting to the same point in their career at the same time. I like you look at the penguins and cross being Malcolm and LeTang are all basically around the same points of their career and, you know, so they're all kind of getting to those areas of who they are at the same time. We're not aligned and kind of spread that out a little bit and that's how you do it. Uh, I mean, looking at the blue line is, if there is going to be a place where the, where the lightening are going to add, you think it would be there or it would be, uh, trying to acquire some, some depth forwards, uh, here at the deadline coming up tomorrow. I would think that they're probably looking more towards maybe a middle sticks kind of

22:49forward, um, you know, especially now with the injury to Dominic James. Nick Paul has been out since before the break. He has not, you know, resumed skating with the team yet. So he's still at least a couple of weeks away, um, you know, Gage can solve us also not going to play tonight. So they've kind of taken a hit in terms of their forwards. But I think they've, you know, they've been kind of searching for who that number six forward was going to be in their top six and I don't think they've, they've landed on it yet, you know, can solve us. There's had opportunities there. Um, you know, all of the Yorks ran hasn't worked out the way that they hoped and the deal was Seattle last year to bring him in. Uh, so I think that's the area ideally a right hand shot forward will probably be something that, um, that Julian would look for and if that guy can win some face off, even better because they have struggled with the face off thought this year. Would they feel confident? Maybe if the move doesn't come together and just keeping the unit the way that it is? They would. I think just because I think they've discovered they have better depth than they fought

23:50this year. You know, with all these injuries that have popped up and like long term, like not just the guy who's going to miss a couple of games, you know, you look at headman and they've done a both miss 30 games and Eric Ternock missed four weeks and, you know, Nick Paul missed the start of the season and now he's out again, long term, like they've had guys suffer long term injuries and, you know, you've had the deck on Carlisles, you know, Steven Stan teeny came up and provided them some really good minutes on the back end and, you know, Dominic James, I mentioned him and then the role that he's kind of come up and played this year for them. You know, so I think they have better depth than they thought they did and you know, that doesn't count. You know, Karen geeky just came back up and played this first game, you know, since October, the other night against Minnesota, he'll be in there in the lineup tonight against Winnipeg. You know, so I think they would be okay with it. I think I think I think it could use some depth help, even with all that depth I just talked about, because you can always find ways to improve your team and I think that knowing Julian's track record, he'll find a way to make some sort of a move to help his team.

24:52What's been the breakout for Darren Radars this year, other than the Victor headman injury and opportunity? Well, opportunity is the big one, right? And even at the start of the year, Darren was a guy in the outside looking in the lineup, right? He was the healthy scratch for a good number of games to begin the season and then the injuries happened and, you know, now he goes from wondering if he'll be in the lineup. If he's in the lineup, does he make a mistake? Does that cost him from being in the lineup? And it just brought about, I think, a different confidence level in Darren and the way that he can play. Now he's, you know, he's up to 22, 23, this is some 19, 27, 28 minutes, which is something he's never done in his career and, and you don't have time to think about it, right? Unless he's just rolling out on his shifts and he just go out and play. So I think that's helped his defensive game. I think the big thing for him offensively is he's, he's become better getting his shot through and getting it on net and that's a big reason why he scored a number of goals he has. I mean, he's always had that blistering slap shot, but this year he's found more accuracy

25:59with it. And I think that's a big part of the breakout offensively for him to put up the numbers that he said. He's unlocked the power play. You know, in the power play, the beginning of the year was 13% and, you know, that was before Big Head and got hurt and everything else. As soon as he got on it and he started firing shots, it unlocked the power play and I think it's been around 30% since then. Um, yeah, I mean, it's just, I, I, I just feel so, so strongly about the camp of a lightning this year. I mean, I just feel like this because Eric, I sit up here for two to three years and wonder how Nikita Kutraff doesn't win hard trophies. Is he a god down there? Oh, look at him, but I, look, I, you know that people don't, people don't like him. Then that's the reason why he isn't won multiple. I mean, I love it. I appreciate it. I love and appreciate Nathan McKinnon, but the idea a couple of years ago when it was quote unquote, his turn to win the heart was asinine with the season that Nikita Kutraff had. Yeah, that one boggled me to write a hundred assists, the only winger in the history

27:02of the NHL to record a hundred assists in a season. He had what 50 more points and anybody else on his team. And I was better than numbers and Taylor Hall put up the year though he won the MVP. You know, and that was the year that, you know, to your point, like people were turned off by him in some part because of the all-star game, hundred percent, but he kind of dogged it through the all-star game and, you know, and that shouldn't, that shouldn't factor in. That shouldn't have anything to do with it. Should be fair. He was probably hung over to be fair. Allegedly. Well, I remember, too, that was, that's when the four nations was announced to us. It wasn't part of it. We had that way on top of him as well. But like he has certainly revered down here. I think he's underappreciated in a lot of other areas because, you know, he's not caught David. He can, and he's not going to jump out off the page actually with his speed. He jumps off the page when he go back and look at replays, right? Like, and there's a subtle brilliance to his game that is hard sometimes to detect with

28:03the naked eye that you have to go back and say, did I just really see that? And then you look at the replay, you're like, wow, how did he pull that one off? And so I think that makes it harder to appreciate and the key to a little bit more. But man, watching that guy night in and night out for the past decade, he is a brilliant, brilliant talent. And I don't understand how he doesn't get more recognition. I think part of that is, too, like he doesn't speak to us in the media a lot. He doesn't have that type of personality. And that's fine. I don't begrudge him for that. That's just who he is. You know, as a player off the ice and in terms of how he deals with us in the media. I think that that sets off a negative connotation for voters, too, which again, shouldn't factor in, but we're all human and I think it does. I certainly think that it does. And you're right about that, about the subtle brilliance of his game. I mean, I didn't, I don't think I truly appreciate it till I saw him live one time. And I was like, oh my goodness. Yeah, I, I, I, I, I, I'm just not trying to sell tickets for the Jets. But like, when we talk about a vegkin and crossbecoming in town, I always tell people, and tonight's the night for everybody listening, you watch him live.

29:04Last game I was at in the press box when I watched him. He just always in the right place. His vision, right? Like his skill and points, you're right about that one thing, Eric. But to just track him on the ice and to see how he sees a place going to go is unbelievable. He has amazing vision. Yeah, I'm not comparing him to Wayne Gretzky. Remember Wayne Gretzky, everybody used to say he knows where the clock before his team. He knows where the puck is going before his teammates know. The key is kind of the same way. He knows what he's doing with the puck before anybody else on the ice knows where it's going. And he knows how to get it there. And one of the things, like he's a, he's a monster in terms of working away from the game and on the ice. Like he might take a week off on the ice after the season's over whenever it is. And he's back on the ice working up things. Watch the way he pulls pucks off the wall, especially off his backhand. It's, it's again, very underappreciated aspect of his game to do what he does, do it so smoothly and to be able to, again, know what he's doing with that puck before.

30:04He even rims around with a blade of a stick. He knows exactly where it's going. And that's why I got like Jake Gensel, bringing Jake in. You know, he knows how to play with players like that. He understands because it takes a special talent to play with special talent sometimes. And I think when the key, that's the case. And he's so demanding of who he plays with. Yeah, it's always crazy when you look at the leaderboard and you're like, oh, yeah, Nikita Kuterov, second in assists, Nikita Kuterov, third on all points. And it always kind of, it always sneaks up on you, doesn't it? In every time you like six points, and Conor McDavid, as long as five people don't like him. They just don't like it. Well, no, I, yeah, it's a shame. It's a shame, but that's, but that's the difference. So we'll send you Stanley and Perfetti in a first round or for Nikita. 31:05Stacey Roost is there who is a player that played five years in the show. And he's, he was an assistant GM now. He's coaching the Syracuse Crunch, their farm team. But every time Jamie comes to town, I'm like, so give it what's this? What's that? What's that? And he's like, it doesn't give me anything, right? He's just like, well, well, well, but the one thing I will say is about the year of Stamcoast and stuff like that that why I asked Eric about this is he's like, well, we're really young and we're really old. And like the older players are key, but we're really young. And I said, yeah, so it's like, it's that capped thing that's hitting guys right now. And he said, no, it's not like we really believe in these younger players. They're just young. They're going to pay off. That's the only insight he ever gives me, which I get it, right? Like we're buddies, but he's also a GM and I'm in the media and stuff like that. So we just talk about other things. He should spill all the beans. He should tell me every day. He should tell you. I don't know why he saw, he was a WHL Scholastic player here. So he's already way smarter than me. You know, Jamie, my point to this. Come on, man. My point to this conversation is, who do you think you are? Three years ago, you're good, buddy, they saw this. They saw this when they make trades in you and I raise eyebrows.

32:09They just, they're, they believe in the players they're getting. And now it's paying off for them. Like Eric said, they're in radish, just cashed in on that deal. He was a healthy scratch during the season, right? Like they can scout, they can do, they're trying to make trades now and they're at the cap. Tomorrow is the chance to do almost next to nothing for that. This has drastically changed things, in my opinion, can because I don't think anybody knew the Tyler Myers and the Colton Perenkels would be made available. Now, the latest on that is he said no to Buffalo. He wants to stay in St. Louis, but he is open to a potential other city, but he said no to Buffalo. I just think that changes. If you can get Tyler Myers, if you can get Colton Perenkel with term, if you can get McKenzie Weeger with term, why would you send a package for Logan Stanley? I never thought that that would be, so now it becomes a thing of, you're not going to get a first-round pick for Logan Stanley. So now it becomes a conversation. Do you sign him or keep him or do you send him out for? Do you even think you can get a second now that the Weagers and the Myers and the Perenkels

34:11are available? Well, Weeger is gone. I think you could trade him and get a third or a fourth, but that's if he's not going to sign. But the idea of 48 hours ago that you may potentially get a first or maybe a second and a fourth, I think are gone, because why wouldn't you spend that on prank? I just think that we're really leaning heavily towards Logan Stanley, likely resigning tomorrow. Like, do you think Detroit will go, okay? So I, you know, Myers told us no. I don't want to pay what Perenkel is and maybe Perenkel does want to kind of do try. Do you think they go back and go? Here's something for Logan Stanley. We're still interested. But it wouldn't be a first anymore. I don't think there's going to be much tomorrow, man. I'm telling you, I don't think much is going to happen tomorrow for the Jets at least. I think most of their work has to be done in the office. I agree with that. Colorado receives center Nicholas Waugh from Toronto in exchange for a conditional 2027 first-round pick, which is top 10 protected and a conditional 2026 fifth-rounder. Vegas is acquired Nick Dowd from Washington for Jasper, Jasper Vickman,

35:14a third-rounder and a 2029 second-round pick. I love these like 20, that's like the NBA now. They're giving away picks like 20 years from now. Utah, of course, the big trade, McKenzie Weeger from the Calgary Flames for three, 2026 second-rounders. Only one of those was their own, as well as a prospect in Oli Mata. The oil was acquired a couple of centers, Jason Dickinson and Colton Dock from the Black Hawks for Andrew Mangia Pony and a conditional first-round pick. Chicago retains 50% of Dickinson's salary. We talked about yesterday, Tyler Myers now, off to the Dallas stars. So, Calgary is incensed that this Weeger trade didn't include Tige Ginla going from Utah. They were, the Calgarians were hoping desperately, again, the sun would come back in that trade, but you're not giving up a top 10 pick or a top 10 prospect like that. Not a chance. But that's a, that's a heck of a, that's why you acquire assets. That's why you acquire picks is to be able to do stuff like this. That's why it was three second-rounders because they didn't want to get rid of Tige Thompson.
