From the Fairbank's Museum, this is the Eye on the Sky forecast. A warm front will plot its way eastward across our region late today, but widespread showers have developed along the cool side of the front, delaying the warmup in some cases until tonight when temperatures will drop very little. The details this afternoon showers likely accept a rising chance southeast. Highs from the mid 60s to around 70 north, low to mid 70s south, south to southeast winds, gusting to 20 miles an hour, except gusting to 30 in the Champlain Valley. Shower's likely tonight, lows in the low to mid 60s, south to southwest winds, gusting to 20, except gusting to 30 in the Champlain Valley. Decreasing clouds, Thursday, highs in the mid to upper 70s, south end in the Champlain, and northern Connecticut valleys, low to mid 70s elsewhere north, west winds, gusting to 25. I'm meteorologist Lawrence Hayes with an Eye on the Sky.
