I don't know why I've always thought that signpost clip reminded me. Derek Papa just gives off George to Stan's survives. I know he dressed up as him as Halloween one day and came into the studio. Well, physical stature. But just like his overall vibes. And he knows every kid stands a line, too.

See, there it is. Now I have to ask you, did you ever make a spoof or a parody song for your answering machine? We did them all. I could lose track of how many different ones I could tell you. It was a constant, especially when I live with my buddy, Sully, who co-wrote Delta Farts, too. We would constantly create fun, creative. At least we thought we're funny, outgoing answering machines, messages all the time. Now I will speak for my generation, at least in my friends group. We would do something similar, but a little different, where we would like do our answering,

4:02like our voicemail calls when like you call to cell phone, but we pretend to pick up the phone. It'd be like, hello? Hello? Wait, what? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Speak up. I can't hear you. Yeah, that's a good one. No, idiot, this is my answering machine. Leave a message and I won't get back to you. It's a pretty good one. Like we would do stuff like that. Kind of thing, man. Same concept, same concept. Everybody's looking for a laugh, everything for a laugh. Sorry, 80s Friday continues. Meanwhile, 49ers Friday continues. So I had to jock bug yesterday, Marcus, because I didn't want to do it on a Friday, because it's Friday, right? Nobody wants homework on the weekend. I have frequently put it off till Friday. I don't know why you do that to yourself. Come that freaking guy. I'm that guy. So anyway, I was like, you know, who do you write about? You write about the Giants? I was like, I could write about the Giants. And I was like, there's just still too much time. You know, because if I was going to write about the Giants, there's going to be about Bryce Eldridge. Where are we with Bryce? You know, so I was like, ah, give it a few more weeks. I was like, warriors, I was like, ah, you know, the warrior. I mean, I wrote about Camingo last week. Everybody got so upset. Stop talking about Camingo. What if I ran up for Zingus?

5:03Now I'm reading this. I almost got through my Evelyn Wood speed read on that. It's just about how frickin mysterious and depressing porzinga's illness is, is the takeaway. Everybody's baffled. And apparently, dude, I did not know this in his opening press conference. He let loose with like a lion yon in the middle of it. And the writers were like startled. And then he apologized and then doubled down with another yon. Oh, you can't be yawning at the podium. It's because of this illness. He's so frickin fatigued. It says here when, this is the Slater piece in the ESPN. We'll get to the Niners in second. He says, when porzinga's addressed reporters afterwards before the fifth question, he let out a yon. Oh, ready for this, Marcus? An uncontrollable extended yon. Uncontrollable. Wow. Now, did it like create like a domino effect where everybody else started yawning in the room? It always happens. 100%. Yons are so contagious. 100%. He then says, porzinga's apologized as if to make sure he wasn't being perceived as rude. Then he yond again. Oh, anyway.

6:04So I was going to wrap up that and I was like, no, I was like, Niners. We got free agency starts Monday. The negotiating starts Monday. The signing start Wednesday. Let's tamper. It's trade season. The Rams got Trent McDuffie. The Rams just resigned Cam Curl this morning. So I was like, where are we with the Niners? And I was like, you know, it's a vibe check on the Niners. And it's kind of like, where are we? It's like, oh, listen, there are 12 win team that beat the Eagles in Philly. You know, and they're getting boasted and worn her back. So I mean, by no means is this a panic thing at all? But where are we in the attempts to win a championship, right? Where are we in the attempts to win? Which is even crazy to even kind of put it in that perspective. When you do mention the fact that they won 12 games last year, want to play off game against the defending Super Bowl champions at the time without a handful of their best players. But everybody's acting like there's such a huge gap between the 49ers and the Rams and the Seahawks right now. Yeah. Well, that's kind of what might the essence of the thing was that it's the Ram is the Seahawks won the Super Bowl. I went back and looked at the play by play at the NFC championship.

7:04You know how close the Rams were to winning that game. They had the ball in the six yard line. They had a first and goal in the six with four minutes to go and they couldn't punch it in. They couldn't punch it in. And then the rent that all they had to do was stop the Seahawks and get the ball back. And they couldn't. There was a couple of third down conversions that that Darnell was able to pull off. So so how far are they from the Seahawks? I mean, then I was looking at the free agency history for the Niners. You know, they haven't been a massive free agent team in a free agency team. I was looking at who are the best free agents that Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch have brought in in their time. And really it's not a super long list. Kyle Eustick came to mind as one. That was a really good, I mean, do you, do you count? Yeah, I forgot what I had here on the list here. Alex Mack. Yeah, Mack was a good signing. Charvary's Ward. Yeah, I like Charvary's. Okay. And then but on the other side, Jared McKinnon injuries never played, right? DeFord was a big guy, played a year, and then got hurt the rest of the way. So it's been kind of like in other words,

8:06I'm saying, are you expecting them to wave a wand next week and get that much better? Well, I mean, everybody's looking at Tyler Lindobom, right? The center. Yeah, but already I'm here in the Bears, because the Bears Center drew Dom and retired at 27 years old. And the Bears just picked up a second rounder from the bills. So maybe they're going to, I don't know. Yeah, well, Lindobom's going to get paid fat. He's going to become the highest paid center in the league. Like you're going to have to spend more than $20 million per year at the center position. I don't think the 49ers are going to be willing to do that with the way that their salary is set up right now. But also, I don't think the 49ers are going to be really showing out a lot of money essentially to anybody this off season. And look, to your point, like the track record, like yeah, Charvary's Ward was a good signing, they spent a lot of money on hardgrave. And I don't think he lived up to that type of contract, but that's kind of the example of the most money that they've spent in the last couple of years in free agency. Instead, it's been more based on trades and restructuring contracts to keep guys in San Francisco. Okay, so I tease that though big hiring. Do you guys miss it? The 49ers hired a new defensive assistant coach

9:07for Rahim Morris. And it's a big name. Matt Eberfluss, former Chicago Bears head coach. All right, this guy was a head coach in the league for three years with the Bears. He went three and 14 seven and 10, four and eight. Prior to that defensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts in 2018, 19, 20 and 21 in which his defenses were at times pretty good. Like, for example, in Indy points allowed 10th, 18th, 10th and 9th. Then he was the head coach that I mentioned at the Bears. He was the defensive coordinator. The Cowboys last year, they were terrible. They gave up, they were last in the league and points allowed 30th in yards. Okay, so that's his most recent stint. So as he, I mean, I don't know what you want on judge him on. His whole career or last year in Dallas. But the easy read is that this is the Gus Bradley higher. Yes, Gus Bradley as the veteran presence of a guy who's in case where he more gets hot and leaves in a year. Yes, right? I don't know, what was your reaction? Well, I thought the same thing. I said, all right, well, Gus Bradley was in this role last year and it worked out well. Now, obviously he was coaching with Robert Salas. So that also contributed to Gus Bradley's success.

10:09To be honest, my first reaction was less Gus Bradley and more Brandon Staley when he got brought in as the assistant head defensive coach when he was coach when Nick Sorenson. Now again, there's a big difference between Nick Sorenson who never called plays at the NFL level versus Robert Salas, your DC and who's working underneath them. But that was always my question with Brandon Staley, who also had a track record of not having the greatest defenses but did have some defensive success as a former head coach. I was always just asking questions like Brandon Staley. What exactly do you do here? You're not calling plays. Obviously you're helping out in the game plan. And we learned last year, Gus Bradley was a guy on Saturday, given a lot of speeches to the 49ers. So there's a role. And I never think it's a bad thing to have as many creative minds and as many former good coaches in that building. But I don't know if this is a move that's really going to solidify the defense or anything. Like to me, it feels more like Brandon Staley than Gus Bradley, which to me means it's going to circle back to how well Raheem Morris does as the actual defensive coordinator. It's an interesting hire. It's a name hire. It's an ad.

11:10It's a brain power ad to the defensive room. And then you can debate, you know, your feelings on Eber Flusses career. And by the way, I should mention a listener point out, we didn't include Richard Sherman in free agent signings for the 49ers. That's a pretty good one. So anyway, vibe check on the Niners. I would say, what's the word? In complete, still to be determined, not totally sure. I'm giving you different words. Yeah. I mean, what's your vibe check on the Niners are going into free agents? Like hopeful, yeah. Like contending still in the championship mix. I mean, yeah, I expect them to still be in the championship mix. I really do. That said, you know, what are they going to do about wide receiver? What are they going to do about past rush? What are they going to do about their own line? I mean, these are all issues that we're going to have to see addressed either in the next week or so or in the draft. So, but not in a trade. They didn't make the big trade. Trent McDuffee was the big trade. I know we got Sean Estes. So let's stuck out here. So a little Niner hit there. We can get back to the Niners at any time, of course,

15:18Murph and Marcus, happy baseball season. How you doing, man? Hey, what's up, Sean? Hey, what's up, fellas? Great to hear and I love that song. He got to keep it going there, yeah. Anything, anything, great drama rama. There you go, buddy. It's really from our kind of, our kind of era. You were 91x guy if you were in San Diego, you were listening to 91x, the radio station. In San Diego? Yeah, yeah. No? I can't remember. No, I mean, I never lived down there. I played here for a couple of years, but I think that was when I stopped listening to FM. Let me ask you a question. What was it like playing for me? My biggest thing about San Diego is great town, man. Got great friends down there, some of my closest friends in life. But I feel like when I'm down there, I can't take life that seriously. It's so chill. And like grown men are wearing surf shorts and vans, and nobody's wearing pants. And it's like, nobody's like really serious. Like, is it like that down there? Like, it's kind of hard to take life seriously because everything's so chill.

16:18Yeah, I always thought there was a tough place to play. I mean, I felt like that, you know, just the family showing up in the flip flops and the in the in the board shorts and the long hair and his kids are in tail. Just got off the, just just got done surfing a set. Yeah, I feel like it's hard to turn it up a notch, especially if you're a baseball player, you know, to ratchet up and get intense for a game. Just because it is so slow pace. It's great, great weather, obviously, all year round. But yeah, I always felt like that when we went and played San Diego, you know, it almost felt like a vacation. And I was actually hoping it was one of those series that I had that I got to miss in the rotation. Because, you know, I mean, it really is. It's a great place to live. My best friend actually lives down there now. So we get a chance to go out there quite a bit. Yeah, well, Sean, it might be a little difficult to get up and get ready to play down in San Diego, but definitely not difficult to get up and get ready to play in the world baseball classic. I don't know if you saw some of the highlights the other day

17:18of just an exhibition game between Detroit and the DR down in the Dominican Republic. How crazy the crowd was going. And then of course, Logan Webb takes the ball today against team Brazil as USA kicks off their tournament play. Just your thoughts about the style of play and the level of excitement going until the World Baseball Classic. Yeah, well, I mean, I look forward to it every three, four years whenever they decide to have it seven years. But I think it's great. The fact that Logan Webb's on the bump and I get even more pumped up. And he's up against, you know, the Brazilian standout. Botaka Hashi. I'm sure you knew that Botaka Hashi was Brazil's ace. I thought that was kind of funny today. But he's a kid that pitched the mileage. Obviously, he has to have some Brazilian kind of background there. Probably has a parent that's Brazilian. But I know I'm actually looking forward to it. Yeah, the bus there now, if you saw me to highlight some of the Japanese Chinese type hay game,

18:21that was pretty electric as well. Obviously, Shohei hitting the grand slam in the second inning, going three first, first, three in that game. But Tokyo down. Yeah, I mean, it is. I love this time of year. I think it's great. It's, I'm obviously all about Team USA. But it's going to be tough. This year's going to be tough. The DR is loaded. Japan's always really good. Obviously, if you have Shohei top your lineup and then Yamamoto is going to be slinging it for him too, this year. And they're always sold. They just play great team baseball, great fundamental baseball. They won the last one. So I think those are probably the three teams right now that stand out, the DR USA in Japan. Yeah, agree. It's going to be any one of those three in the dog fight thing. Hey, here's a fun sports talk radio argument. Marcus and I had briefly touched on this yesterday. Who's currently on March 6, 2026, the best pitcher in the world? We have three choices.

19:22Or you can go off the board. Choice number one is Yoshi Yamamoto. Choice number two is Paul Schienz. Choice number three is Tarek Schuble. Well, let's see. I'm going to rule out Yamamoto just for the mere fact that he's a Dodger. I'm going to chuck him off that board. OK, there it is. Now, even if I were a Dodger fan, I would still think that it would be between Schuble and Schienz basically because they're both the reigning Saiyung award champs. So they are the two best pitchers in the Major League. So I think it's the bait between those two. I would say, right now, I would say Paul Schienz. And I would say Paul Schienz for the future as well. I just think that he's going to be just a dominant force for a long time. And I think that it's because mechanically, he is consistent as they get. Obviously, stuff wise.

20:22And just as his mental makeup, the confidence he suits on the mound, he's just a really confident dude. And he's got the body to withstand 200 plus endings every year. And he's going to be a guy that's just going to be able to strike out when he wants to. So I would say Schienz right now, with Schuble would be a close second. But Yamamoto was pretty special last year in the playoffs. So that's a pass off to him. I got to give him a little bit of credit, because what he did in the World Series last year was very Madison Bungarner asked. And I didn't think we'd see someone like Bungarner in the postseason for a long time. And it's only been about 10 years that we saw Yamamoto could be last October. So yeah, right now, play off Yamamoto might be my pick. But I'm talking for 162, 33 starts. I'm going Paul scheme.

21:23Yeah, and the good news for Team USA, Schienz and Schuble were both in the rotation with Logan Webb for Team USA. And Sean, that really is the thing that stands out to me about this go around, especially for Team USA. We've seen stacked offensive lineups, but we've never really had truly the Sai Young winners, the best pitchers in baseball in their prime pitching for Team USA. And I know this is going to be a talking point in a couple of years, whether or not Rob Manfred allows major league baseball players to play in the 2028 Olympics. But from a pitching perspective, is the risk worth the reward for you to go and play for a team like Team USA? Without a doubt, without a doubt. And I understand I'm looking at this from player perspectives. If I'm in the front office or if I'm supposed to pose you right now, I don't want any of my guys playing, I'm focused on the giant season and what it's going to take to win a world series. And obviously that's the carrot. That's what you want. And you're looking at the risk that the risk of upsetting

22:24your guys to the WBC, obviously from an entry for standpoint, but also just a fatigue standpoint. And you're coming in this September, and you need your horses to be clicking on all cylinders. And you just hope that there's not this fatigue from the WBC. But with that being said, I think if he asked Buster, he played for Team USA. I think he'd be the first to tell you that there's no experience like it. And if you have an opportunity to play for your country, you better take it. I think it's one of those things where you look back on your career. And it might be a regret that you have that if you didn't take that opportunity, because there's no guarantees that, say, for example, Logan Webb's going to have a chance to pitch and for first for his country again. So you take that opportunity and do it. And it's a very select few again. You just mentioned, I mean, they got three start-for starters. But Logan Webb's getting the ball opening day, opening night of the WBC.

23:25And he's pitching with the two reigning say young war champs. I mean, and for his country, I mean, that doesn't get you better in my opinion. I say I risk it. I think that a reward is much greater if you can go out there and you can win the goal. And the Olympics, if you can go out there and win the WBC this year for your country, I just think that there's no question in my mind that I'm taking that risk. Good stuff. As Sean asked us back on Giant's broadcast this summer, we look forward to it very much and look forward to checking in with Sean. All right, we got to line up out for this morning against the reds after the Giant's had a day off yesterday because of the night game Wednesday. Obviously with so many players gone to the WBC, it's not a full lineup of regulars, but I am going to go through this and then we'll ask you about some of these guys leading off Jared Oliva. I think they say his name is Center Field. Dan Sussing. All of them. All of them. Daniel Sussing, catching in the two hole, Willie Adomis in the three hole at short. My guy, Vic Barracotto in the cleanup spot in right field, Matt Chapman in the five hole at third base. Bryce Eldridge, get ready for your Bryce takes, Sean,

24:27because we're going to ask about him, bat and six at first base. Luis Mato's spading seventh and left, will ask about him too. Jake Holton, Los Gatos high school kid at D.H. batting eighth, fresh off his grand slam. And a guy having a nice spring, I think just offensively and defensively Christian costs batting ninth at second. The picture is Tyler Molly, his second outing as a giant. So I don't know. Let's get right into Bryce Eldridge in the six hole. You saw him scald a ball over the short stops head that rolled all the way to the wall. You've also been around the batting cage, talking to people. I need the Sean Estes run down on Bryce Eldridge. And I'll frame it this way. Should he be on the opening day roster? Well, I got a couple of things. That's got a couple of things with it. One of them is very unpopular. And I would say that no, he shouldn't be on the opening day roster. And I only reason I'm saying that is, is he could go, I mean, he could, he could hit his way on this team without a doubt. If he, if he shows Buster Posey in company that he's ready to be on that opening day roster

25:29and he's gonna help, he's gonna make this giant team better than I would say without a doubt. But I also look at it from this perspective is that he doesn't have, and I know people are gonna say, well, who cares, this is spring training. Okay, this isn't the season. There's a lot of guys that you haven't heard of and that you never will hear of that have really, really good spring trainings. And it sets up for hitting. It really does. It sets up for offense. It sets up, you got the quick infield, you got the ball that jumps temperature, you get the thinner air up here. I mean, spring training is typically, you get some offense, especially guys that come into spring training ready to roll. Maybe you've played some winter ball. You get some big numbers from guys that probably don't belong in the big leagues. But that being said, I know they know that. And so they're looking at Bryce Elders and they're looking at his at bat. So looking at his at bat against left-handed pitching,

26:31they're looking at how his plate discipline, obviously hits the ball hard. I think we all know that. We can pretty much file that away is that when Bryce Elders makes contact, he's going to hit the ball hard. But how is he doing against left-handed breaking balls? How is he making adjustments in bat with good stuff against pitchers with good stuff front line starters that he's going to have to see during the season? That's kind of what we're going to have to see. And if he checks off all those boxes between now and opening day, then selfishly, I would say that, yeah, without a doubt, he helps this giant team become better. His at bat, his bat in the lineup, makes them better. Defensively, he doesn't make them better yet. But he can play DH. That's why I'm like, he's serviceable at first base. But he's got work to do over there. You know, how many is he's going to allow in more runs and he's going to drive it, type of thing. So I think personally, he needs to go to AAA

27:34from a defensive standpoint to just sharpen that up a little bit and then just to get some more AAA bats. I mean, there's nothing bad that's going to come out of that. There is going to be things that are bad to come out of him being on the opening roster and struggling right away and not being able to hit big league pitching and getting into a hole and hitting a buck 30 for the first month of the season and confidence destroyed, even though he's got a ton of it and he believes in himself, that still happens. You start to doubt yourself a little bit. So I don't think there's anything wrong with him being in AAA to start the year. And then when he gets to the big leagues, he's going to have to beat the door down to get there. But when he gets there, he's going to have a chip on his shoulder because he probably feels like he should have been on the team already. But he's also going to put the work in. He needs to do to become an everyday big league player and make an impact in the middle of a big league lineup. So I personally think that he should start in AAA and I know that's very impopular, but because you do have

28:36some guys that you could lose on this roster if they don't make the opening of your roster guys without options, that could potentially make your team better as well. And you don't lose Bryce Eldred by sending in the AAA, right? You lose some of these guys you may never get to see, help your team become better if he's on that roster. Yeah, and we'll see Bryce Eldredge in the lineup today in hitting six over at first base. Murph also mentioned it's going to be Tyler Malley on the mound today. And I saw you guys got to interview Adrian Hauser the other night on the broadcast. I know the giants are relying a lot on those veteran arms to eat up some innings this year. So Sean, where is your level of confidence with those two veteran arms that they signed this off season? I haven't seen enough, but I know that what I've, but you know, we talked to Adrian Hauser. I mean, he completely revamped his whole lifestyle in the last year and a half. And I love that. I love guys that are just constantly trying to evolve and become better. And he realized that, you know, what he was doing

29:36wasn't allowing him to be consistent at the big league level. And, you know, he had a heck of a 11 starts with the light socks last year. Pretty dominant on a really bad team. If that's Adrian Hauser we can see for 30 to 33 starts, I feel very confident. I mean, I do like the fact that he's kind of transformed his body and that he's taking care of his body and that he's putting obviously help as a priority. I think stuff wise, he's got what it takes to be a big league starter, about a doubt. He knows how to pitch. He's got that experience. So I love Adrian Hauser this year. Maley, Valley, I don't know. I mean, I think he's a guy you still have to hold your breath a little bit as far as health goes. When he's out there, the guy knows how to pitch. John Miller and I did a game, you know, a few years back in Cincinnati. And he had a no hit or going against the Giants through seven innings, he uses dominating. And, you know, he's a guy that did pitch for the Rangers last year in a very tough place to pitch.

30:39And he had great numbers. He just knows what he's doing on the mound. He's not going to beat himself. He's not going to walk a bunch of guys. He's going to attack his own. And I think pitching in a ballpark like Oracle even makes him better. But it's a matter of him going out there and making 25, 30 starts. You know, I think that's the goal with him. So I love those two additions because there's not a lot of question marks outside of probably Maley's health that when these guys are on the mound and they're pitching every fifth or sixth day, did they give your team a chance to win? It's going to be wild to watch. We still got three more weeks to go. Actually, less than three is still opening day. So so much to get. I mean, we can keep you on here for all day. I kind of sped red at dude and here's the bottom line. He's going to be a, he's going to be a gigantic question mark for the rest of his career. Spoiler alert, right? Yeah. Shocker. He's been a question mark his entire career. It's just a deep dive into his nagging, sad, depressing illness that's, that's just dogged him in the last several years. It's sad story because he's a great player and it goes back to like it's a tack a cardia thing. It's a fatigue thing. So the Warriors still don't know what they have in their hands. He did go on the trip. He did do a workout before your six game. They hope he practices today, but Marcus, it's like hour to hour, bro. Yeah. And so you look at the standings and they're still in that eight spot barely hanging on. The clippers are charging from the nine spot. Where are they going to wind up? Can they get to the lottery? Well, the short answer kind of is no, because they're eight back and they're eight ahead of Memphis in the lost column. You think they're going to pick up nine games and losses and Memphis if you want to tank the rest of the way. Also our Joe Lekker and Steve Kerg going to tank. They're just not going to do it. Yeah, despite your best wishes. So can they get to the six seed? No, give me another no. So we're just going to have to live in this purgatory. And the best they can do, honestly, is stay in the seven eight bracket, which is a fight

40:05for their lives because the clippers are right on their heels and they got to play Oklahoma City tomorrow night, which makes a win like last night so impressive, so important. And I don't know, Mark, because I guess the question come out of it is, and Steve Kerg said this quote, when they play like this, we can beat anybody. This is without Steph. And also we have quotes from Drain Montgomery about a dream on green about Steph Curry coming back. But does this give you any hope that they're back to being that team that can stay in the seven eight win a game and then play a good series against either OKC or San Antonio in the playoffs? Yeah. Well, I think there's a lot that needs to happen before a potential series against San Antonio or even OKC or if somehow some way they do go up to six and next you know, they're playing the Houston Rockets. I don't think that's going to happen. I think they're stuck in this play in purgatory right now that we've been talking about for weeks. They're not moving up. They're not moving down. So really what's the goal for this season? Just to get into the playing bracket as the seven or eight seed have a healthy Steph Curry out there and then get the supporting cast that you saw last night put on that type of

41:08performance. I'm not walking away saying last night is the reason why I think the Warriors championship window is back open. But last night gave me reasons to believe that they can be anybody in a one game playing situation, especially with Steph Curry on the court because he's got the potential to go off on any given night for 40 or 50 points. But last night we also saw the veterans step up and show out and it all started with Dremont Green and Dremont Greens been getting a lot of slander this season for the lack of success during the regular season, but we pointed this out before the season even started. This is an old Warriors roster. This is a Warriors team that is not built for the regular season. They literally built this team for a potential playoff series. Now of course that included the possibilities of having Jimmy Butler out there with Steph Curry. He brought in Al Hoerford, the space of floor as well. And Al Hoerford, go check out the box score from last night. The most minutes he's played in a Warriors uniform. That was Al Hoerford turning back the clock at 39 years old. That's what they need from Al in a playoff series or even just a simple playing game.

42:09And the same thing goes with Dremont Green. We've seen flashes earlier this season when he's matched up one-on-one against Wembee. Like when Dremont Green decides that he wants to show up, which he's not going to do every single night during the regular season. At the 36 year old, he's still one of the best defensive players in the league. And we saw that last night. And that's why Steve Curry was talking about how it felt like a playoff game. Because Dremont Green was locked in from the tip on Kevin Durant in the first quarter. And there's no down in my mind. There was a trickle down effect from that energy, that passion, and that performance that we saw from Dremont Green last night. I like it. I agree with everything. Say by the way, just in the middle of all this Warriors big hit, give a little Fox News chime here, buddy. What do we got? What do we got? It's not shocker, but Adam Schefter has tweeted out ESPN sources. The Raiders are releasing last season, starting quarterback, Geno Smith, barring a trade before the start of the new league. 43:12to win, but you're trying to stay afloat. We need to win. We're trying to keep this thing afloat, man. Hopefully we can get 30 back at some point, get KP back, get CF back. So, you know, got to win some of these ones that you're not supposed to win. We want to have a good night tonight. It's always better to have a good night with a win. Yeah, so trying to win those things now, he did it. He said get 30 back. Now, this is a question young Tony asked us yesterday was, should Steph return. You know, and there are those in the firm tank saying, no, don't. Just go to the lottery, get one of those good players and come back next year. He says, Dremont says, after the game, Steph Curry texted him with a bunch of exclamation points, said, y'all did that. And here's the Dremont quote I wanted to get out here. He said, he's going to put... He's going to put... He's going to put in all the work and do everything he can to get back if his body allows him to get back. That's an if. I know he will not want to shut it down. For us, we just got to stay afloat. Nobody's expecting us to go into 10 game win streak, but you've just got to stay afloat. You can't let things go too far south and that's what we're trying to do. You're never going to see Steph rattled, but I know him well enough.

44:14He's been a little challenging missing 12 games. Needless to say, he's staying around the guy, staying positive. He texted me today, quote, keep going, I know it's tough, but I promise you I'm coming back. So 30. 30's coming back. So he's not going to shut it down the rest of the season. You're right. This is a topic that we've discussed. My thought process is the warriors can afford to be extra cautious because to our earlier point, I don't think they're getting out of the play and bracket on either side. They're kind of stuck in the middle. Obviously, you want to be the seven eight seed versus the nine 10 for that extra opportunity, that extra chomp at the apple, but I think that's what Steph Curry is thinking about. That extra bite at the apple because Steph Curry is turning 38 years old next week. Like we talked so much about this Steph Curry window. It's not going to last forever as much as we wanted to. So anytime you give Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Steve Kerr, the opportunity to get into the playing bracket with an opportunity for another playoff run as unrealistic and

45:15unlikely as it seems for this season, especially with the Jimmy Butler injury, Steph Curry's not going to shut it down. He's going to try to take advantage of every opportunity. And I think warriors fans should cherish every opportunity in every game that Steph Curry plays. Since he is turning 38 years old next week. Right. So a lot of text coming down on the Golden State Lumber and show him a text line. Phone lines are open to it. 808 KMBR. We can carry this into the next segment too before we get to cooler of content. And Rick Mary A31 says about the lottery in my mistake and don't the 14 teams that don't qualify for the playoffs qualify for the lottery. I mean, listen, it's obvious the hustles there, the headband, the hair, the energy, but I'm, you know, the game three years, 15 million, you know, where are you with Guy?

46:19Oh, oh, Murph, dude, I've been a Guy Santos fan since he was representing Brazil on the Ryzen Stars G Lee game back in the day. But I'm with you. I don't think Guy Santos should be a ballhand. Whether that's for sure. There's times where he gets the rock and he kind of dribbles it off his foot a little bit. But he's a high effort guy. He's out there to get you some boards to keep that energy. I will say this 14.6 rebounds, six assists and a plus 20. Yeah. I mean, I'll take that from a Guy Santos. We've talked about this before. I think for four from three, what you see from Guy Santos is everything that the lawyers wanted to see out of Jonathan Camingo. Yeah. Like that's the style of play that they were trying to get Camingo to play. Guy Santos is bought in. And that's why he's been rewarded with this three year deal. Five or no says, can I get some gravity? Because this feels like a seven or eight seed play in gravity, young tone. So there you go, man. The giants who are hoping to get out of that gravity play in that gravity, uh, should we say inertia or whatever that gravitation. That gravitational pull there. Thank you, Tony. Thank you, buddy.
