During the Horus Heresy, Jaghatai Khan, Primarch of the White Scars, found himself caught between loyalty to the Emperor and the temptation of Horus' rebellion, as his Legion was largely isolated from the unfolding civil war. Initially hesitant to commit, Khan ultimately chose to stand with the Imperium, waging a brutal hit-and-run campaign against the traitors. His most defining moment came during the Siege of Terra, where he led his warriors in lightning-fast strikes across the palace defenses, notably engaging the Death Guard and their corrupted leader, Mortarion.  In a legendary duel, Khan fought the Daemon Primarch, suffering grievous wounds but proving the resilience and adaptability of the White Scars. His leadership ensured that the Scars played a vital role in defending Terra, cementing his legacy as a loyal but fiercely independent Primarch.
