I'm Laura Warn. It's the gold. I like classic raw review as the other cold to haul it lands fully refreshed, recovered, reinvigorated after a trip to Wembley. We're here via the Ike Pro Powder, Delorean back. The birth of the attitude here at 1998, who be we? I'd be fake Jordy radio presenter with that portfolio Tom Gabel. Joyed by the Mulligan to my oh hair, friend of the stars. The Ramboxius. Jaior Lando. How are you? Jaior, I reach on. I'm very well thank you, Tom, especially because I got to see your lovely face in London. You did get to see my lovely face in London. I got to see your lovely face in London as well. Obviously it's been like over a week since all in a Wembley stadium, but we recorded an episode which went out a day after, but we hadn't done it yet. Of course, we're now going to use the first hour and a half of the show to decompress from our respective trips to London,
which we briefly saw each other at a crossroads in the middle of it, but I think it's fair to say from what I have heard. Our paths were very different for that weekend. Yes, because as usual, Tom did lots of work and I did fuck off. We both did our thing in the best possible taste, I find. I, yeah, thank you if you came along to my world with Jeff Jarrett. That was exciting. I got to hang out with Bestie Jeff Jarrett and you got to meet Bestie Jeff Jarrett today. I got to introduce him to Jackie O'Lando. That was nice. As Tom said, because I was with Fraser Campbell. Fraser Campbell. I was with Fraser Porter. The artist was known as Jeff introduced me. This is Jackie O'Lando from Cauter Hall. I can Jeff, I won't hold that against you. I just felt like I was introducing my boyfriend. It was nice. He's a fucking fantastic shape for his age.
Any great. Any great. He bloody great. He's great. It was the meeting greet. He went around to all the tables and had chat with everybody and then we told stories and he got annoyed with me and it was a great time. Obviously, because I was putting out, I was organising the event for when Jeff got there. Jackie O'Lando got to see me right old height when you got there. I had a technical problem in which I was missing a cable for my set up and I went, it's okay, there's a curries on Wembley way. I'll knit there and get whatever cables I need problem-solved. Here is where the problem wasn't solved. That curries has been shut for four months. I went, I don't know where to get the cable from. I had to go into Box Park Wembley and got to Joe and the Venvinny, the lovely men who were on the DJ area and bleed with their kindness.
If I could have a jack cable from them for a few hours and bless them, they sorted me right out and I got exactly what I needed and I returned it promptly in kind to Box Park. Thank you to to Joe and to Vity at Box Park Wembley who absolutely saved the show, which is a relief because the show otherwise went out without any technical hitches whatsoever and all the microphones worked and everybody had a lovely time. So for our Patreon subscribers, it was in the White Horse pub and Tom Jeff and the crew would take the upstairs and they've always waiting downstairs and there's a picture of a frazzled Tom on the stairs saying, uh, Jeff's running late, it was here in a minute. And a Fraser and I looked at each other and I know that face. He's fucking frantic right now. Yeah, that's a bit frantic but the show happened and it went fine and everybody had a nice time and I know it and I know it. I know Jeff had a nice time because not only did he privately call
me a pro's pro so that was nice or our solar couldn't quite tell it was loud. But he also, he also was very complimentary and he said, um, what are you doing later? I said, uh, I'm free. He said, come with me to rev pro. That is why you have seen pictures online of me and Jeff leaving the Hilton that went by together. We got packed like like I was his little bag bit. I was like, I was like, triple eight to the click. This is little bag fits. And then he got surprised the world. Um, Jeff Jarrett and I, right? Both did a live show in the shadow of Wembley Stadium, right? And then both went on to make surprise appearances at Wembley Arena. I'll spin this yarn of mine, um, in which I'll go, I go with Jeff to rev pro. He goes to get ready.
And you all know what happened from there. It was good time. Go watch it back. Jeff is brilliant, turned up during the gauntlet and the loudest pop, you know, two very loud pops. I think maybe both the same loudness. One was the surprise appearance of Will Osprey in one of the opening matches. The other was the surprise appearance of Jeff Jarrett as the last entry in the gauntlet. And my god, the, and I knew which position he was covered in and I was ready for the reaction, the reaction was wonderful. But um, the gauntlet required a countdown clock. And somebody came up to me, one of the team at rev pro came up to me and said, we have a problem that we think you can help us. I said, um, we have a bit of issues with our countdown clock for the gauntlet, which you might just jump in on a microphone and saying five, four, three, two, one, every time a wrestler comes out, I like, are you asking me to announce it? When will you read it? And then yes, we need you to announce it. Can I be introduced as the
guest time keeper? They went probably not, no, can I film it for my Instagram? They went, yes, you can film it for your Instagram. So I got to do that. And I got some lovely messages from people when I shared the video later on. I lots of lovely messages from people going, I knew that was you. I knew that was you. I was like, yes, it was me. I'm glad you could recognize me. By the way, I counted backwards five, four, three, two, one. That was definitely me. I was very delighted. Yeah. So that was good fun. Great show. Great shows all around all weekend. Great shows. Got to see pro wrestling eve, got to see rev pro, hang out with Jeff Jarrett, but banger of a show, Wembley Stadium took place. And then we blew the house down at progress wrestling, which was great fun. Lovely lively crowd, biggest crowd. They've had in the ballroom for ages, like, it was like, sold out and then some, like hanging off the rafters at progress, just a lovely way to wrap it. What was a genuinely feel good weekend? It wasn't feel good weekend with a Jackie Orlando. I was a fantastic weekend, yeah. I watched wrestling in Wembley
Stadium and spent the rest of the time in pubs watching for you and eating chicken. Hey, it's the dream. I was down for a pleasure not a business this time, so I couldn't get to any shows because I was with my rabble of friends. But I managed someone's ringing my doorbell. Oh my god, I thought that was a hotline. Now, your group, Jackie Orlando industries meet punch people in there for four pound fifty five. Do you need to check the door? No, because it's I'm on the fifth floor, they can fuck off. Hi, I'm Jackie Orlando. Oh, I like that. That's me coming up on stills. I will say though, it was a weekend of redemption for me at Wembley because one of my mates was staying in the Hilton, so we were in the Hilton where all the wrestlers were. And obviously, we just walk in the whole halls and the bank, bank, gang were there and Jay White was there about his top on and we were like, Oh, okay. And then the five was gotten to a lift.
And who gets into a lift? But my old nemesis orange Cassidy. Oh, here we go. And he was a delightful fellow and we had a lovely conversation about traders. And I was like, I've made up for being a squat in that press conference that once I did. You congratulate him on his hard fought 2026. No, no, we were just like, hey, they rebuked poems. He was like, yeah, you said, you know, I've got me somewhere. We were a little, I was like, I like the color of the tennis ball covered a pump on him and they're fantastic. I was like, yes, here we go talking shoes of a fella. So where was that kind of question during the press conference in 2023? Well, during the press conference in 2023, I'd been sent to London on one mission, a one mission, only to get a question in the press conference. I didn't realize how many I'd be able to get. I didn't prepare any. I didn't know who's going to be in the conference. And Aidan Givens was like, don't me a foot. Sure, if you said you're what? And then I knew what I wanted to say, but it came out shite and Orange Castley no sold it because he stays in character. I did Aidan Givens
call me a game. So that was great. So I messaged him to the modern state redemption. Orange Castley's a nice man. We talked about shoes and he's like, I'm made up for you. I was like, thanks. Ah, lovely. So that was nice. So, but there is there is so much more to what to your show this weekend in London. Well, of course, because I saw Jack the job. Yay! I remember him from that channel that time. That channel that time. Yeah, we had a little catch up in Box Park, Fraser was eating chicken and Jack and I were talking about is CM Punk on steroids. And in my honest, straight education, he is not. He's just a big boy. He's just a big boy. I'm aware as well, by the way, that my face is frozen on the screen. It in a very funny position. That's like a wheelbie right back title. Okay. So if you continue telling your story about what you got up to,
I will attempt to fix my camera. Well, yes, like I said, I was there for pleasure, not business, and through, you know, Jackie Orlando's celebrity roller decks and greasing of palms, I was a I was a guest in Wembley and me and a bunch of rats from Ersyside were a horrible gang of bricks. And there we are in a private box being fed and watered with two waitresses. Wow, I say you watch the wrestling. Oh, I ate like a fucking horse. If it wasn't nailed down, I was like, right, do you want to know what I ate? Yes, that is all I want to know. And this was all before the main card kicked off. This was all these are the things that went all in Jackie's mouth. Thank you. We went out that we were at this was in the box itself. This was all served on fine China free drink free food. I had sushi. Then when I ate my sushi, I had pizza. Nice. When I ate
pizza, I had a chicken kebab. Nice. When I ate the chicken kebab, I had a veggie kebab. When I ate the veggie kebab, I had a small burger. When I ate the burger, I had some wedges. Nice. When I ate the wedges, I had a fruit on a stick. When I ate fruit on a stick, I had two donuts. When I had the two donuts, I had one coffee. When I had the one coffee, I ate two scones with a crotch of creamy jam. When I ate the scones, I had a burger popcorn. And then later on, I had two sausage rolls and it nearly shit me. So come on. That man, it is way out of Wembley's stadium. He was roll out of Wembley's stadium like Violet Poe and Card from Charlie the chocolate factory. Fuck me. And then I mean, the night didn't stop there. We somehow blacked our way into the AW official after party. We got given wristbands and we got in there first. And security wouldn't
let Jerry Lynn and Jerry live. It was when fucking work for AW. We just said, and then no. Jerry Lynn got in. So it was okay. And again, we left all the wrestlers to it. Everyone's in the roommate. We did a big fart next to Roderick Strong in the toilets and I was shaking my head. This is the, these are the show best stories that people won from us to today after all in weekend. Well, yeah. And then I nearly bowled over Austin Creed and his young family because I heard they were hot doughnuts. Jackie Orlando killed a small child. Yeah, Favourite of donuts. And Creed just spent, he may be my son, but your Jackie Orlando and that boy was hungry. I was like, yeah, thanks. And yeah, it was just we just kept ourselves to
ourselves. The rest was rather than a nice time. They've been hounded all week for photographs and we were just like, we'll leave them to it. And if we happened to bump into any of the barbells, they hello. We were on the lookout for handsome Mexican men because we just wanted, we were just like, I wonder if any of these are the luchadors, but the the only handsome Mexican man was Santos Esquibar. He was in a bar 11 at night in a small vest and sunglasses. And we're like, oh, he's good. That's a bit of a ghost there. What's he doing at AW all in weekend, Santos Esquibar? Well, there was a few guests there. Trent Severin, as we like to call him. Trent Severin was there because obviously he was working the indie shows and everyone was just catching up with him and just going, I'm Trent. And the other hangers on we were just, we couldn't stop looking at Chris Jericho though, because Chris Jericho's results work at where and a lot of make up. So much so that it looks like an acme stick at TNT's blow it up in his hand.
What's Jericho done to his face? I said, what had happened? I said, what had happened is, what happens at these wrestling shows to congratulate him on the match? They got my birthday cake, one big red candle in it. And when he couldn't blow it out, the whole cake blew up in his mush. I said, I've got to go to the bar. So that's what happened to Chris Jericho. Oh my god. But yeah, so we kept ourselves to ourselves in the corner and then shuffled off into the dice and then got the train back Monday morning and I came home and washed all my own these. So that was my weekend. The biggest news coming out of it though, fucking AWD dynasty 2027 in Liverpool. I'm very happy about that. Ah, and if you don't think Jackie Orlando has any kind of sway on the market in AEW, literally the first time that he was there in the box, lauding it up, they went, oh, we're not gonna do web bleed next year, but we're gonna live in Paul, all right? Well, yeah, and while I was in that box, if you've ever seen the video to relax by Frankie
goes to Hollywood, just before the main event, I stood up naked and pissed on to everyone below. They thought it was part of the last phrase entrance. They mix it with the tears that people were crying was they listened to Bavaro Ryle. What a fucking main event that was though, it was our box were all we were a Keny omega box. So we were just shouting, good god, oh, it can. Good, good. Good, Ken. Your box must have reverberated those two kick outs at one, right at the vinegar strokes of the match. Yeah, we were just like, drawing a foot and bust. But I did, I believed in the magic of pro wrestling again, because when we'll us right here at the Tiger driver, I made an noise that I don't think I can replicate. It was kind of like, I just think, oh, that's so a lot of people look up away from the show and gone. It's maybe like, believe in the magic of wrestling. A word to that effect, like, it's brought the magic back. Wrestling is back. It's brought the feeling
back. Yeah, it was, it was a fantastic back, but I need to rewatch the broadcast because some of the finishes were a bit confusing about commentary. But yeah, great show, great show, great weekend and great to see your little face. And then you text me and I was around the corner watching 40 Swagrumbuck and came and saw you another little chip. Yeah, and I said, okay, I just bloody, bloody nice. You had a, so you do had more people ticked on your show, be as list and I did, because obviously I got with Jeff and I saw all my lovely friends from the indie scene backstage at RevFront. And they were like, how did you get in here? And I was like, that's going to get me through the pipes. Which is, which is funny. I got to play a lovely trick on Kate from Fightful, one of her favorites bands, his band called Masslines. The indie band for the UK who plays Axeber Jr's theme and they played him to the ring at RevFront. And they were on the band with that. It was really cool little bit. So I did a little video with
Chris Thomas Leasing or Masslines and I said to Kate, go and my friend Kate thinks you're rubbish. She just constantly slags you off and she put all your albums just so she could put them in the bin. I love the fact that the feud between you and Kate is probably the longest and pro-Rasslin history at this point. Yeah, and I don't think it'll ever end. I think the feud must continue, the feud must continue. I got to see completely by surprise. I went to see my friend Paul, Box Park while I was waiting for another mate of mine. And he said, I've got some friends who are coming by as well. And they'll be here in a minute. They're just coming in now. One of the friends was former FWA manager, the Twisted Genius, Dean Ayes. Oh my god, he kept on the corner and hello, Dean, honestly, little bit of starstruck meeting, Dean Ayes. That was the old school FWA, yeah. So we had a big chat about FWA and the podcast Nothing and Like It, which is the FWA podcast. And he was lovely and it was just wonderful to
have a drink with him and chat about FWA. It was also nice to meet Mark Haynes from Wrestle Me, got to meet him at Pro Wrestling Eve and we had a big long chat during what we thought was the hints of mission of the show. Turned out to be the death match between Emerson J. and Sky Blue, which we completely missed. The absolute fucking blood path of the weekend. The Ulba blood bath of the weekend. We thought we would just sat outside like during the mission having a bite. Like, oh no. Sorry. I feel like that's my fault. You're like, everyone screaming in there, they must have seen some mice. And then you get rid of your like, oh, God, the horror. Must have seen some mice. Nothing is scarier than some mice. But they are mice are particularly scary. And I got to say that lots of people came up and said hello. It's a massive thank you if you came upon Wembley Way and said hello. I got to meet John, not John Eileen Sadley who wasn't there,
but John who writes into the classic. Hi, my fans, Max here. Barry's here too. Hello. And now the Premier League is back. Barry, meaning we're providing incredibly astute analysis three times a week. I know I spoke to James and I spoke to Dean and I spoke to Paul, who were both like, I love listening to you in Jackie Hollander. And I was like, one came up at progress. Normally, when that happens, I like to get you on the phone, but it was
too noisy in there. And it was, but if you came up and said hello, thank you very much. It was honestly, it's nice. I've had very loved, I've had ever so loved for that weekend. And I'm still sort of decompressing from it, from all of it. I'll get down eventually. Well, a little look to how behind the curtain and how the sausage is made. We're recording this on the Thursday. We usually record on a Tuesday for the following Monday. But we're recording the week of all in pretty much. And you message me when's the morning. Say, do you want to record today? It's like, you mad man. I was like, you're not still lying down in a darkened room. You're like, nah, nah, I still off me tips. I was like, I had to see it off. But that was really just to get home. Have a lie down. I looked at a left-shoot, a left-shoot, a left-shoot, a little bit. I think that's enough for a while. It's a lot. London's a lot in here. It's a lot. I like London. I do like London, but I do understand that it is a lot, which is why everyone should come to Liverpool for AW Dynasty. Not that I'm being paid by AW. I just want everyone to have a

You can, you can, you can aggressively interview everybody in the queue. This podcast might be a bit longer than normal. I apologise in advance, but we'll get to the mailbag now. Classic at Coltonholly.com. If you want to say hello, Dearest Mulligan and O'Hare, I was beyond delighted the other week to hear our Davies return as his bonkers antics. Always have me howling with laughter. On the 11th of April, episode where DX do as they are told by authorities and Vince Benzfarty long getting his tiny ref shirt on, there's an absolutely fantastic in a late 90s pigeonholing way. Sign, which appears right behind massive vinn as he's about to climb the ring steps for the main event in a close-up of his proud, as punch face. There's a big sign right behind in reading Vince McMahon is gay. It gets quickly knocked down, but not before it's in full view with him. It's the one I remember seeing last time I watched this era of Raw and was wondering if it would have grabbed your attention as some of the
more questionable signs often do. Loving your workers always as James Hatstand. Thank you James. James also messaged to tell us that when he was in school, he learned to play the saxophone. And he learned valve Venus's intro on the saxophone. Oh my god, his music teacher said it was one of the smutiest things he'd ever heard. Well James, when in school, I also learned to play the saxophone. Oh, but I played tennis sax, which is lower, so I was just playing real big fish stuff. Well, look, I did not know we were in the presence of so many saxophonists. That's lovely. But James has said that he's going to get out the saxophone and give us the rendition at some point. And yes, I'm sure it'll be better than Coltrane. It'll be better than Cannonball, Adley, and it'll be better than every other fucking saxophonist that I love combined.
Because James is a good lad. He's a good lad. Hello, chef. Oh, I've a chef, you fucking trot. Hello, Tommy and Jackie. Months ago, I sent in an email and in my anxiety riddled attempt to get ahead of Tom's eye of long emails, I trimmed away some of the message. In doing so, I accidentally deleted the questions I've had to ask, rendering my email pointless. Don't I feel silly? Yes, you should. My question was thus, given the alleged lack of top heels to face Austin at this time, would there have been a wrestler in the world at large in 1998? You would have loved to have seen comes the WWF and have a top heel run. Thank you to for all the laughs over the years. Your parosocial company has gotten me through some tough times. Keep up the lovely work and have a wonderful day since Silly Kevin from Atlanta. PS, are you still taking submissions for wrestler names? We certainly are. In years past, I've used some silly aliases for various reasons,
such as, are you ready for these? Jackie with a pen of paper? I've got the worst up. Okay, the turgid burden, shafted to boi. Oh, shafted to boi. turgid burden, shafted to boi. And Brooklyn style, Donatello Monicello. Donatello Monicello Monicello. Well, yeah, I'd written one down yesterday because for some reason, Adon and I were talking about chippies and we said that Willow Nightingale would own the best chippie in town. And everyone would go because she'd be very pleasant and she'd give you a couple extra chips just on top because she's nice like that. So in between rim job, Steve Houston and the turgid burden, shafted boi, we have Willow Nightingale owner of the best chippie in town. I believe that actually. You can picture it, can't you? Yeah, I actually can. I actually can picture her do with that. That's brilliant. Thank you very much. In terms of your question,
it's funny because the one name that springs to my mind is several that we talked about who recently had a try out and was seen the the trade-in centre. That had been John Tenta, earthquake. In terms of like a golden era villain who could have had a very pre-from with Steve Austin, I think bringing him into do something would have been quite magnificent. In terms of from the world at large, like from other places, that had been incredible. We know that Ric Flair was unhappy in WCW. Imagine if Vincent dug into the pockets a little bit and went Austin's first opponent in terms of looking for like a corporate style champion, is the nature boy Ric Flair. Yeah, Flair came to mind. Another that come to mind even on 1998, he's paged. He'd never be allowed back in WWF because he hates everyone and his character is more about Shane Douglas. Yes. An idea of a kind of corporate Shane Douglas trying to swallow his pride and trying not to be the franchise and being like, and the franchise player in like a
suit and that. And you know, a very sound technical wrestler. I think that you get to kind of underrated Shane Douglas just because as much as he was the verbal kind of inspiration behind ECW. He's not the first name many think of when it comes to the death to finance and because you know, he hates Ric Flair that much. But the idea of Shane Douglas first Steve Austin, I think, would have been a nice program. That would have been a really nice program. Like them. There you go. There's some suggestions. Glad you finally got there Kevin. Thank you very much in T-MAT. We are on the 25th of May 1998 for this week's episode of Raw. Sad news from the entertainment world this week, Jackie Orlando, because this is the week that sat in the nightlife actor and comedian Phil Hartman, famous voice actor from The Simpsons, is shot and killed by his wife. And it's such a bizarre story because there had been neighbors who had said that they'd had sort of marital problems anyway. But they kind of chalk this up to a combination of an argument that went awry and then she was drinking and she was taken so loft and I think Xanax as well,
like a cocktail of de-conpressant, of depression tablets and such that led to shooting her husband. It led to a class action lawsuit for the people behind the drugs, claiming that it was there. And I also, the psychiatrist of the wife of Phil Hartman, who was the one that suggested them in the first place. But away from that, like a titan of comedy taken down far too soon. Yeah, Phil Hartman, absolutely fantastic. For many, you know, they'll know his work as, obviously Troy McClaur and one of my favorite Simpsons characters, Lionel Hots. Yeah, and I remember, is it National Lampoons loaded weapon and he's like a police officer just doing stand up over a bullhorn and he's just, he was fantastic, Phil Hartman. Loads of love for Phil. This week, Channel 4 is censored by the Broadcasting Standards Commission for an episode of TV dinners. So it was a simpler time back then. The episode that caused all the
I.I.I. was an episode in which a woman's afterbirth was served up to friends and relatives as Pate. Several viewers, including Standing MP Kevin McNamara, complained about the programme which was shown back in February and it was deemed by the commission to have broken a taboo that would have been disagreeable to many. I kind of feel like something like that nowadays would have not got the publicity in the way that this did. Oh, absolutely not. It's hard because I was talking about this with the Lady Orlando, the week saying that I would eat afterbirth because it's the only legal way to eat human and she just went, you're fucking horrible you. It's just, I just like the idea of like what you have in fatigue. I'm just like a woman and they're like, what? It's like yeah, I'm having woman fatigue. It's a lovely bit of woman. But Pate's subscribers will see the absolute horror on Tom's face at that sentence. I shouldn't be surprised. I've said many times that if I ever come into a lot of money, I'll
go off grid and eat questionable meat to the forest. Could that include human? Who knows? Oh, horrible stuff, but speaking of questionable, speaking of questionable, what? I know we're used to the rest of the observer being wet. Like when it arrives in your letterbox, Jack, and I like it soggy, but there's like a, why is there like a minty smell on it? It's like someone's tried to wash it. But fail because the dirty food smell is still underneath it, but there's now like a minty layer on the top. It's given it a feel and a bit of a smell. It's like someone soaked it in brine, but then like spat mouthwash on the top. It's just awful, awful. Just disgusting. Jesus. Like what are we even doing here? But either way, this son piece of business from Dave Meltzer is called the rest of the observer. He was letter
as Jackie Orlando's job every week with some pincers to sift through it and find if there's any gold hidden amongst the tribe. And the thing is, I can't even wash the smell up. After waiting for the skin of my hands to die. Oh, no, not again. You can get that rubbing alcohol, which I recommended to you. Yes. Well, I need to also remove my fingerprint so I can commit crime. Talk of crime. It's the rest of the observer news letter dated June 1, 1998. And it's been a slow news week. It's been Memorial Day in America. And it is the mid-year mark. So Dave has a pint. He's basically done the mid-year culties, but for the rest of the observer. And spoiler alert, pretty much every category is performed by Steve Austin. It is, yeah, it's absolutely his, yeah. I think high fire of the air went to Houthon to Guerrero, but the rest of it was just all Austin, Austin, Austin. But we pretend to be a WWF focus podcast. So we start with WWF news and
this fuck all this week really. As Dave's put here, Mexico has become something of a battle ground for the WCW versus WWF war, especially with WWF getting television in Mexico and finalising the WWF Latino deal for the Univision for a 30 minute weekly show on Saturday afternoons that will begin in the fall in the United States. WWF is only signed to Mexican wrestlers to contracts, Agola, who is now wrestling with Alta Masque under another name, and Pantera, who hasn't been used to play. Plus, they have six minis that they haven't been using on the contracts, all of which have very low guarantees, so there is a minimal investment in them. So Bruce Pritchard and Victor Cunones, who are set to run the WWF Latino show, they're expected to travel to Mexico on a talent-scout mission, and the work and idea apparently is to start TV Tavins this summer for the show, doing Tavins monthly and smaller arenas in cities with large Mexican populations within the United States, so as to give the show a Mexican feel. Basically, this is, you know, it's been a plan for many, many years, we've seen it now in 2026, bearing fruit with the acquisition of AAA, but WWF have always
kind of like half attempted this throughout the years, this is the show that will become super astros, and then that will run for a few years, and then they'll get Rey Mysterio, and then Rey Mysterio will kind of become more of a part-timer, and then every Mexican sign is with the idea of them being the next Rey Mysterio, so it's been an idea they've had for many years. Just to go back to what you said there, but Aguilar who is now wrestling without a mask under an assumed name. Do we get SA Rio's this early? I don't remember SA Rio's until 2000. Not do I, no, it was 2000. Yes, because Lita comes with him, doesn't she, sorry? Mm-hmm. So I wonder when there was something else that happened before that? Potentially, we'll have to go to Cage Match for a future episode, and that's Tom, does it now? I can go there now, because I remember him competing as SA Rio's in 2000, but obviously we're in like early 1980, which WWE have signed him up and whipped that mask off, because Lord knows masks
don't make money. Search bullshit from the company of WCW, and other places too. Like, why would you not want to sell replica masks? I don't get it. Why just promote this? Promote is don't like masks, and they don't like tag wrestling, whereas fans like masks and fans like tag wrestling is just like just, it's easy. It's fucking easy. You know what? He wrestles under another name, and it was a name that bounced around in my head, and I thought, no, I don't think that's him, but then I'll, and then I'll put on looking at Cage Match, I've got an actually, that is him. He will wrestle as Papi Tulo. I know the name Papi Tulo. Yeah. He will wrestle as Papi Tulo, before he becomes SA Rio's. Papi Tulo basically, or as he will sometimes be down on shotgun, the Pimp Daddy Papi Tulo. Okay. Is there a character associated with that? Or is he literally just a sexy man? Sexy man, Papi Tulo. Well, talking of sexy man, Sonny has voluntarily removed
herself from the road due to a personal situation. She'll be back when she decides she can come back because we were talking recently about, she's seemingly just like done with LOD 2000, and using our clairvoyant powers, we know there's not much time left for Sonny in the WWF. No, she's very much on the way out here. We, they don't go into details as to what the personal issue was, do they? No, they don't have this point. No. I mean, it's a shame. The, I didn't mind her being part of the road warriors. I thought that was like a nice refresh for them, but don't worry, they replace her with an equally sexy piece of ass on the show tonight. Well, talking of sexy pieces of asses, we go to WCW. And Dennis Roblin is pretty much welcome firm for a tag match at Bash of the Beach, teaming with Hulk Hogan. WCW is working on getting another major NBA name for that show, and considering the announcers have been bringing it up calm alone, and the fact that he's become friends with DDP and had a one hour phone call this past week
with Bill Goldberg, that's at least putting him on the list when it comes to speculation. Thanks for your introducing there, Dave Meltzer. Forget the NBA, what about the OWWN? Because Jim Helwig's debut as the warrior is apparently dependent upon the ratings. That's actually a good for me, that. Very, very good. There was talk of debuting warrior as soon as June 8th and Orban Hills, Michigan, if WWF were to win the ratings these next two weeks. But if WCW was leading in the ratings, they could keep the original plan of holding his planned debut off until late August or early September, and I'm sure it'll be great. It'll be perfect, and everybody will have a lovely time with it. Okay, it's how we're going to get winning back, brother. Well, I wonder if you'll get a win back again, said because WCW have been talking with Sid about coming in, which in both cases, both Sid and the warrior shows that no matter what you do, what your ability is and what your track record is in this business, you will always find work if at one time crowds were into you. Dave's point, if Sid does come in, it would be the first time he's
been with WCW since the incident with Arnandas and In England, where they got into a fight and both stabbed each other with scissors, which is an incredible sentence. That is, again, as he's saying, you will always have work if you are Sid at this point. I don't know what more Sid could do to not get work. I feel like he could pretty much do anything and a company would want to hire him. And he'll always be over because he's fucking Sid. He's cool. Because he's Sid in his coolest fuck. Talking of cool people, there's nothing major in you when it comes to the Ric Flair situation. He's currently in a bit of a legal standoff of WCW. And unfortunately, Time magazine took away 40,000 of his online votes for the Man of the Century. Oh, boo! Apparently they were bogus votes. So he's now down to eighth place, which is still really good. Still boo anyway. Boo! We talked recently about JD Angle, who was the Secretary for Eric Bischoff, who quit WCW to go to the WDF. But however, WCW went back, gave her a huge increase in pay and she's changed their
mind. She's now staying and she may be getting a promotion to work with Harvey Schiller. She's been with the company since the mid 80s since it was Jim Crocket promotions. And we're saying last week that as much as WCW will be hamstrung by the on-camera exit, it's the behind the scenes ones that were really hurt. And for the time being, it reminds to retain the services of JD Angle. We go to one last bit of WCW news and then we go to the Indies and as days put in the My How Times Change Department, Kevin Nash, if Ric Flair's problems are worked out, wants to bring Flair into the Wolfpack. Hey! Kevin Nash has apparently said backstage he wants Ric Flair in the Wolfpack. I think this is political maneuvering because Flair and Bischoff are going hammer in tongues and Corridly Nash and Hall are going hammer in tongues with Hogan and Bischoff. So I think this is Kevin being like, well, a Flurricum's back, you can be with us. So yeah, that's also very good Kevin Nash pressing. Well, like Kevin Nash, I like to do the bare minimum for the most
amount of money. So a bit of Andy Indie and he news. So, stepping from his appearance as the security guard that Steve Austin beat up on Raw, Natch, M.C.W is building Andy Anderson as Mr Cable TV. Yes! Love it, milk it baby. As Dave's put, if Rob Van Dam can get the nickname Mr Monday night from doing one match on Raw, go for it. Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. What a guy, what a boy! He is a boy. An official boy. Love him. Love him. What a great little bit of business. Take the tiniest thing. I am all for taking the tiniest little thing. The tiniest little bit of a bit of a win and just blowing it up. I mean, the fact that for years on the conventions, Mo was still wearing a cape and crown and being Sir Mo. And it's like, I think it was Mr Hosey said, Mo is more well known than Sir Mo, but you just see a guy in a crown and he's just
like, who's that? Before you know, he's got your tanner. God bless Mo. God bless him. We did a plaque at the mile, Cassidy, Newcastle where he wants drink. I say you illegally install one. I think I will. But talking of illegal installations, I need to install this edition of the observer into the nearest waste paper bin. And off it goes, make sure that you put that bin outside because it will seep. And it might burn the bottom of the bin as well. So I think I'd write off the bin just in case because it's weird. I can minty smell. I don't get it. Do not get it. Let's go to this. Let's get to this week's have sort of raw May 25th, 1998 kicks off with Mr a man out with some police officers and he is a happy boy this week, gloating about what happened on Monday night Raw last week where all the stooge is fucked over Austin in the ring. Vince
assaulting Stokehold Steve Austin and getting away with it is something that brings him much joy. I assaulted Stokehold Steve Austin and got away with it says Vince at man in front of police officers. They talk about how they're all going to screw over Stokehold over the edge. Pat Patterson will announce the new WF champion. Gerald Briscoll will ring the bell to crown the new WF champion. Vince at man will count the three that leads to a new WF champion. Enter the current WF champion Stokehold Steve Austin to a thunderous ovation. He tells the police officers in the ring that Mr McMahon as you just heard admitted to assault. Therefore he should be arrested. So the police would go, oh shit yeah, yeah, yeah, we should arrest you. To which they do. They hand-coffed, spickman. Parts of Briscoll also go down for the obstruction of justice. Austin signs off by pulling out a beer kicking the man low and then covering him with the suds from the
cat of beer as an angry moist Vince McMahon is dragged off by the police. As a fitting start to roar, feels like a bit of Austin revenge for what happened last week. Austin kind of playing the games of McMahon here in order to get what up on him. Yeah, and it was good because it was over and done in no time at all. It wasn't as long-winded as you may imagine. It was super hard, especially the shot of Vince McMahon in chains, but there was a line that Vince said and he put himself over for and I quote, draining the venom for the rattlesnakes poisonous head. And all I can say to him is the only snake I play with is Damien. Stop wanking. Fuck yeah, that's you, Todd. Why don't we talk that side to Wembley as beyond me? I mean, actually, we were both meant to do it, but we both forgot because I was full of meat and you were full of beans. I was wanking. He was wanking. We were both wanking each other. Talking of
wanking. That's why we're banned from Wembley. Well, someone who's apparently banned from this episode of Raw was dude, love. There was not one fucking mention of him here. And I was just like, he's he's a passenger and he's not even a passenger. He's not even being mentioned. He's the back of the bus. Yeah. And he's hoping no one's seen him because he hasn't paid the £250 to get on. But this is the Steve Austin show. The WF need to build him Mr. Face of the Company first and foremost. So in terms of from the WF's aim, we've achieved that, but you need to get dude, love it. Yeah, it feels like, as you say, he's not the focal point of this. And he's and three fair. He's not. No, if they could get away with doing Austin versus McMahon for the WF title, they would, but they're not. Dude is kind of the is the Vince McMahon by proxy in this. Write down to his promo is in which he is basically parodying Vince McMahon when he talks. Yeah, absolutely. That's it. It's a six man tag. It's the disciples of Apocalypse,
Chain, Skull and Eight Bull taking on the leaves and tomb, Hawk, Animal and their new friend who they promised last week. Hawk introduces us to their new friend who comes to us from, where is it they said he was from? They're what side of Chicago. South side. Oh, Tom. Tom. Can you hear me now? You muted yourself and the excitement of Dross Cumberdough. You don't know. I was doing a solid impression of what the crowd did. When nothing happened because the crowd could not give to shiny, shiny, initially about Dross, which is dead. What? Yeah, because they had no reason to this. Oh, here's our mate, Puk and then some fellow who looks like a member of Ravens flock, walks out and like, who's this guy? Which it's no fault of Drossers. It's a fault of the book and we've been having vignettes for loads for our Venus. We had loads of vignettes for
Edge and not a heap about this puke guy. So they should have done something more to build this. This is Darren Alexander Drossdough, born in May's landing of Atlantic County, New Jersey. He was in the 40-union military academy for a while. He went to the University of Maryland. He became a defensive tackle for the Maryland Terrapins. He would go on to have a professional American football career where he would have three seasons with the New York Jets, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Denver Broncos. He would become synonymous during his time in the Broncos after vomiting whilst on the pitch during a Monday night football game. It was a perfect little moment that was captured. A sports illustrated article back in 1993 says that actually Drossdough vomiting pretty much every game that season while he was on the pitch. He had a chronic vomiting problem that a psychiatrist was helping him through. So if a psychiatrist was helping him with it suggests that it was anxiety led as opposed to something more physical. WWF really liked him.
They put him through the Dory Funk Training Academy and they sent him to ECW for a bit of seasoning, which is what they were doing at the time with the likes of Brackers, Doug Furnace, and Phil The Phan until there was something for him creatively. Of course, there's the iconic scene from Beyond the Matt in which Vince emits DARREN Drossdough for the first time and is keen to test this vomit on command skill that Drossdough apparently has. And embarrassingly, it doesn't quite work in front of Vince. Despite the fact that you'll know the scene, Vince is there screaming, he's got a puke, he's got a puke. And then he just kind of spits into a bucket and it's all a bit embarrassing for everybody involved. Yeah, I was always a fan of Drossdough's a kid. I don't know what it was about me. I kind of like this look, even though looking back, he just looks like a sweaty member of Raven's flock. But so like 10-year-old me, he's like, he's kind of cool, isn't he? And it is big sure to be in sick. And like you said, he tries to vomit, I want the motorbikes here,
and he gets buttered doesn't he? There is something quite hilarious about having a guy called puke, can he go, oh my god, he pukes on command, but he's unable to puke on command. It's like having a rest like a mystical key to eggs, who's allergic to eggs. Yeah, if that was the gimmick that he's always threatening to puke, but never does, that sounds like someone from the UK Indies, but no, they actually wanted him to be sick because it's not you now, yeah, WDS crat. Either way, he is here and he's wearing a leisure-droom t-shirt, and as you say, otherwise, just looks like a member of Raven's flock that got a bit lost. From here, Hawke takes a pace in for a big part of this match. Desperation close line leads to a desperation tag of the match, just falls apart from here. Everybody fighting around the ring except Hawke, who in the ring hits skull with a flying shoulder tackle and a sit-out power bomb for the win, picks up the win for the team. D.O.A and L.O.D. continue to brawl for a little bit after the match until the D.O.A.
is sent packing by the Legion of Doom and Hawke, Animal and Pukes all stand tall. Thoughts on the debut of Pukes in this six-man tag. Well, I mean, as we've seen recently, the matches between D.O.A and L.O.D. haven't been anything special apart from the one last week that I quite liked because they got to fuck it. They just did it quickly. I think, again, I'm biased because I like draws as a kid. There's something there that's, but he didn't look anything special. And aside from Jim Ross on Combs, whanking because he used to play American football. He needed more build and it was a shame for me that chains was the one to take the pin, rather than one of the fucking Harris bastards. But draws with a sit-out power bomb, getting the win, you looked fine and we'll wait and see how this goes. What about you, what'd you think? I thought it was fine. I feel like maybe you could have debuted him in the road warrior gear. It's a kind of solidifying him a bit more. Just sort of felt out of nowhere. No reason to care about him. This could have literally been a promo last week. Do you know what you could have done?
Hindsight. Hindsight, Hindsight, Hindsight. You have the D.O.A. overpowering L.O.D. You have a mystery man jumped through the barricade to save Hawking Animal. And to the point where security pulled him away, like, get out of here. You're not meant to be here. And the following week they go, that guy who can't save us, we like him, he's one of us now. Yeah, exactly gone. We've seen him recent weeks, I'll snow jump and through the crowd, Vince of Man Jump and through the crowd, Vince of Steve Austin. So it would have played into it. That's a much better idea than just going, it's Duke and everyone's going, who fucks this fella? This shits ass. Yeah, I felt a bit bad for him, but he looked fine. Who do you ever beat? We see him at Man covered in beer, complaining, screaming and ranting and raving about being arrested as we go to break. And when we come back, Austin is directing the police to get him in the back of the police car, along with Pat Zalembrisco. They're going to sit in the police car in the back from first hour of raw, a bit like Austin did last week. They sort of replaced, we'd play in the angle, but with man going through what Austin went through essentially. Yeah, if it isn't rogue,
don't fix it really. I also get spotted in the bleachers very, but they don't acknowledge it on commentary. And you don't, but it's a little bit that we get where they zoom in, and you see him in a cowboy hat just shuffling along. He's making his way towards the front of the arena throughout the night. Yeah, he's in a cowboy hat and like a kind of bandit mask, as his head, the fuck the heads, the skies as well. Yeah, head's got a little mask on and out as well. It's cute. Good, good, good, good, clean fun enough is enough and it's time for a change. Screams, Owen Hartz, nation-adomination music, which we hear here. He is on his way to the ring. He is in action against Dan the Beast 7. Ooh, and Squethy Dan has his NWA title round as waste once more. Yeah, so this is a nice little change of pace because they took all the belts off in the other day. And now they've decided to give him all the belts back. Good on him. That's the good, that's the right decision. He won them fair and all square. He did. Dan the Beast 7 shows what a BC truly is by
countering an Owen Hart in Zaguri with a fucking one armed power bump in Corrender Bowl. Yeah, a fucking, he's a beast, the clues in the name. He's clattering Owen Hart in the corner at one point in this match and when the referee is somewhat distracted, Owen just quickly kicks him in the particulars to break the momentum. Owen tries to schoolboy roll up and Dan 7 goes fuck off and Dan 7 complete with injured balls to start smacking a paintbrush in Owen Hart. Just clatters him, lifts him up, drops him down, locks in an arm bar and before Owen could tap out the nation hit the ring. They hold him down as Mark Henry splashes him multiple times and it looks like Owen Hart is going to pulmonize Dan 7 but referees thankfully get in the way and the nation are are chued away from an injured Dan 7. We're getting a Dan 7 nation storyline, Jackie Orlando. Yeah, because they seem to be positioned as the nation hate all the kind of the shooters and Owen Hart hates the shooters as well. It was fine, I expected more considering that I'm
a fan of Dan 7 and Owen Hart obviously a ring general. The post match was good but I think this it will be the story of Dan. He just needed to show more fighting more emotion like Shamrock. He was overpowered easily and as we know he's a legit beast. I have a having like struggling or like shouting out when they put his ankle in the chair being like fucking do it then but instead he was kind of overpowered a bit easily but all fine setting up a new storyline. Yeah absolutely that's that was and it will lead to a career defining moment for one member of the nation. Yes it will more on that in a bit. We see Vince Hart and Andrew in the back of the police car was battered at a brisco. It looks like they're crowned into some easy jet seats what a horrible time and then we get another video of Edge mixing around New York. The word Edge is used quite a lot in case you haven't gathered this guy's name is Edge. Yeah he was just yeah it was just like yeah Fury, Bridge, Chaos, Euphoria, the Edge, Edge, Here comes Edge. Brief side note I finally got
to see Edge rap on the screen. Was that a lovely mox? I know that was a lovely moment for you. It was a lovely moment for me. I've been a Edge head since 1998 so it was good to finally see. Oh mate I'm pleased for you because we spoke about it beforehand. Did you sing Metalingus with everybody? No I was probably eating a sausage roll. I was like oh there's good on the day but I did the scout the way Cree's kids I want to watch Edge. Are you calling him Edge? See Edge over there. Sexton Hard Castle. I don't know any of my notes. It's Sexton Hard Castle. It's the United Kingdom. What a time to be alive. Now Stuart S I'd require more meat and nuts please. I like how it's Stuart S. Just ganging a little bell and they're like where have you got the bell from? Why are you flying just and if on a flight around the Webley Stadium? Because I'm an executive bastard and this is how
we travel at all times. The Jackal travels to the ring next. He is accompanied by two characters from the Howard Stone Show. Hank the angry drunken dwarf and crack head bob. Are you familiar with the Howard Stone Show? I've listened to bits of Howard Stone and the Wack Park. It's something that kind of a little before my time because obviously he was huge in the 90s but over in America we wouldn't have really got access to it in the UK and when I've gone back and listened to it. It's very often time but his Wack Park have kind of like with Hank the angry drunken dwarf and beat a little juicer all turn up in WCW. It's it's it's it's it's it's a little uneasy with me because it's very exploited. It is very much but that's the whole point of what we're going to get here. So Hank the angry drunken dwarf met Howard Stone back in 96 and because by that point he was he was starring in a in a dinner show in Boston called Finnegan's Wake in which which Hank the angry dwarf
with pop out of a beer keg. Right and and Ibn Howard hit it off and then after a night of drinking Hank turned up at the K Rock Studios in Manhattan and wanted to get on air and hang out with Howard some more and he became an ongoing character on on the Howard Stone show part of a big gathering of you've got mute again. Sorry about that I keep I keep pressing the the draws reaction button on my on my roadcaster. I'd rather you press that than the Steve Perry button any day. Hey promises promises. He yeah so from there he became a character on the Howard Stone show. It was in this particular month that similar to the the Ric Flair of fun about the man of the year competition and how that had been overtaken by people voting for Ric Flair and how those votes have thrown thrown out. People magazine were holding a vote to determine the most beautiful people in the world
and it was an online poll that was absolutely taken over by fans of the Howard Stone show who voted on mass for Hank the angry drunk and dwarf. He got 50,000 votes as a writing candidate. Polls was when the polls got released he won by a landslide. Well yeah it was Hank in first Ric Flair in second and Leonardo DiCaprio there. That's it that's it. So well done to Hank the angry drunk and dwarf which is part of the reason why he's out this show here. Crackhead Bob. Interesting character. Bob was brought into the studio on the day that Miss America got released in 1995. His name was what was his real name? It was George Harvey. He had cerebral palsy which you can see on there and he had a very distinct
speech as you hear on commentary very briefly and was quite a just a simple man and that was where kind of the joy came from as part of the whack pack that he was just like a very simple guy who was it was easy to fall and easy to fall in love with the same time. He left the show in 2001 to work on his personal life. He came back in 2005 and it improved his speech. He'd been away. He'd given up drugs and alcohol and he'd actually sort of cleaned up his life which was which was really exciting. However, we did we did eventually lose him in 2016. He was described by Howard Stern as a huge champion of our show. It was a zoo format of show which was filled with characters like this and yeah so again one of those things where Howard Stern didn't really punctuate the UK or the European markets. So it is something that is just for the American audiences.
And even the American audiences were a little bit like meh a valid or as you could tell. Yeah it's it's what your thoughts on Howard Stern and being a radio boy because I know that obviously he's hugely influential and like you said of the zeitgeist in the 90s whenever if it was a bit snarky the kind of pre-jackass and pre-trigger happy tv kind of era. You see the occurrences. Yeah he was very much a trailblazer with radio. In terms it's not my kind of radio. I'll be honest not my kind of radio but the overwhelming popularity that he had around the 90s and still has to this day suggests that yeah he was completely a trailblazer what he did really pushed that zoo format that came from Z 100 but it was just like a cast of unusual characters on a radio show. Anything that kind of puts more years towards radio and creates those moments it was he was very much somebody that made radio disruptive in the 90s and
radio definitely will always need those disruptive type characters and Howard Stern actually was one of them. Never a show that I really got into myself but again I know the significance of it and I was and a lot of it doesn't age well as you would imagine but it is of the time. The jackal is out with these two characters they're celebrating hike in his win in People magazine but they are here to introduce the jackals new faction the parade of human oddities. First of all we hear from Hank who cuts an expletively promo that has to be censored and they eventually take the microphone off him. Jackal sells Crackhead Bob that he's mad as hell and he's not going to take it anymore to his Crackhead Bob goes I'm mad at hell and not go take it anymore. He does sound like hope star runner you're right he does and then we're introduced to more oddities and these are the wrestling oddities. Introducing first of all the former manager of Gold
Dust the queen of the oddities Princess Luna Luna Vashon in a brand new role. We're introduced to giant silver Paolo Czar de Silva who is a former national basketball player for Brazil. Also went on to become a mixed martial artist and this is his steps into the world a professional wrestling. He signed with the WWF in late 1997 again they just went look at the card down size of him he has obviously got to be a guy that we use as we will learn he's a bit useless and the other guy who is so deformed that society has rejected him and now he will only speak to society in the language they understand and that is violence. They introduce us to the masked man Golga and Jackie Orlando Golga is underneath that mask. Star of the world wrestling federation golden era former tag team champion of the world wrestling federation John Tenta. Madness like we've said many times
why are you just bringing him in his earthquake to feed with Austin as we said at the start. Yes and this is earthquake who in the 80s when he was in his prime looked about 45 but it's probably about 23 so he's probably in his late 30s at this point I'd say if that he's in good neck I don't get what the problem is but it's it's mad that you said that Crackhead Bob sounded like home star runner because Golga is a perfect mixture of strong pad strong maddened strong sad. Yes isn't he. But I quite like the look I find the mask really creepy and expressionless I think it's an interesting look but you know it's it's a gimmick there's not really going to go anywhere but it's it's a weird it feels kind of out of sorts for where we are in 98 because as we know the attitude here becomes very wild and woolly but with puke and with the odyssey's this is the first time it's getting quite quite mingin mingin that's that's the word I'm going to use just a bit mingin isn't it it's a bit grotesive it's a bit like the observatives letter it's just a bit
just a bit grubby just a bit grotesque it's wet. Golga is in action for the human oddities he's taking on thrasher of the head magas. Martian thrasher getting the ring and they go down onto their knees and they're putting up their dukes for hank which seems a bit mean because there's two of them and one of hank. Yeah it's very neat very healish considering you know the head bangers event to be faces. Yeah I just thought leave him alone. Bullies he's just the most beautiful man of the world. Golga jumps thrasher to start this match we've got crackhead parboig cobbled with JR and I'd say even if you think they hoped for more gold than they got because they're like you you okay crackhead pub? Yeah okay yeah it's good yeah you can tell at first that JR was all impressed about having to share the booth with crackhead barb but then he kind of warmed up to him because he was like oh this is yeah this is this is like we said a quite a simple man for one of a better phrase and got a barb actually he said how you doing barb he's like I'm fine JR how are you
and JR was like oh yeah more right thanks rascal so he kind of warmed up the alcohol. He took his life and his hands asking JR how he was. Yeah good good a third dollar dime. Golga wins this one pretty quickly with the running power slam I was hoping he bust out the earthquake drop just to give us a little nudge in a wink but now running power slam for you sir. That's my move your past tense. I'd better start doing a big bum to the chest. I'll call it I'll call it the British bum dog. Bummed because there's no bumming in this duck way. There's no bum in this bum dog yeah Davey little bummer. You'll call me a bummer Tom. I've got a wife. Yeah she's bummed. Yeah I'll squire out that a wife and kid you little shit. John was married. You're twat. Now fuck off and make me a bacon butty. Can you ever was married to Lee? We all know that. We love all. Moss tries to save thrash a post match
into giant silver who lands some headbutts and even with these headbutts we go I don't think this guy is going to be very good at the rest of it. But the human oddities are here Jackie Orlando. Yeah like I said it felt very out of place and creepy. It's weird that how we know with our live on power that the oddities become fucking massively over. For a brief period in time hugely over and the presentation of them becomes amazing but this kind of like early form of them and the music it was like it was creepy circus music it was like if Danny Elkman had fallen asleep it's just a shame to see the headbangers slip down the card really. Yeah former tag team champions this sort of now at this point were they're helping to get over this this new weird act on the WWF television led by the jackal who himself seems to have slipped back a touch too. Yeah what did
you think of this apart from I see John Tenta. Yeah I wish it was earthquake feud with Steve Austin but we can't all have a nice time can we. The WWE rewind with Super Soaker is the Kane paternal test from last week when in which tracksuit Kane got to go and get a blood sample done that's lovely. And it leads into Jeff Jarrett with the red carpet laid out for him versus Vader. My best friend double J I did not ask him about this and I did ask him about a whole bunch of stuff that we can't tell tell you on the podcast because it was sworn to secrecy but one of the stories was a very shitty story involving Jeff Jarrett that you will never hear anywhere else. He did give us details on the time and this is on the podcast so this isn't a shocking story. Details on the time that he bailed Brian Nobs at prison which is again an amazing sentence.
It's great it's great thank you all for coming along to my world life Paul and wrestling legend Jim Valley was in the front row. I don't know whether you caught Jim Valley was there. I didn't catch Jim Valley there. No Jim Valley joined us and it wasn't so much later I was I'd seen a chat we looked familiar where in the port and wrestling jacket and I complimented him on the jacket we had a brief chat and then it was when Jeff Jarrett said Jim Valley is here everybody. Oh fuck Jim Valley and and then we had a nice chat on messenger afterwards in his very complimentary so up the Jim up the Jim Valley and up the member of the Jarrett family who really likes kick cats. Yes you know who you are you know who you are. JR tells us something's going on in the locker room some kind of skirmish Jim McMahon and Stoke calls like he's screaming at us as we're going to break going something's going on in the locker room. Jeff we can't do anything about it. Well what's he telly? Yeah he cares. Imagine there's bound to be a fight. You're making us feel bad.
So but man apparently has been released or is going to be released from police custody under certain conditions which we will dip into in a little bit. Meanwhile the match Vader obliterates Jeff Jarrett but there's Tennessee leaf now now now distracting the referee when he finally goes for a cover this leads to Jeff shop blocking Vader after Tennessee leaves distraction to take control of the match. Vader will once again regain the momentum but he'll get attacked from behind which leads to the match being thrown out and he gets thrown into the steel steps. Does Vader takes a shoe in from his opponent at the pay-per-view this weekend and and Jeff gets a moral victory if nothing else. Yeah it's it's weird because Vader's still really over and the crowd rallying behind him despite the way we are spoken and best wishes he didn't even get a lick on Vader on Kane sorry Kane beat the shit out of him and another DQ in's tedious but we have a little bit of scarf from the rest of the observer newsletter I've had to get it back up the bin wet wet and I know
stick and this is with regards to Vader as with other wrestlers and the WF is really trying to emphasise to its wrestlers both old and new about keeping in better condition both because it'll help the quality of the matches if the guys don't let themselves balloon but also guys in better shape should get injured less frequently tell that to say Seth Rollins the most fit man in the world who's injured all the fucking time. As Dave's put it here the problem is we don't live in a perfect world and even though it is admirable for the company to want it guys looking in shape both for the very marketing and performance this also breed potential problems you know extreme diet pills steroids etc and we're going back into a kind of era of WF and WCW they're not really testing properly and physiques are getting bigger and bigger so and I think Vader's visibly dropped weight here and wrestling's interesting when there's different body types and different a kind of physiques on show because as we said the idea that if you are musli you are there for
hard is a Vince McMahon idea that has kind of just been blanket accepted by a lot of fans and Vader everywhere he goes he's treated as a monster because he's a fucking barrel of a man and he'll win the well title everywhere except WF he's like oh he's fat he can't beat up Vader he's fucking he can't beat up K-D but it's Vader he's a monster it's gonna be weird because I'm furious I'm scared I'm furious it isn't it it's infuriating hmm absolutely sure of us but either way he'll fight K this weekend I'm sure it'll be fine but man is out of the police car he will only be freed if he apologizes to Stoke Olstyv Austin and initially he gives them a very shitty apology and then a very a very genuine apology and Austin accepts it gives him a little rubber the hair and leaves and Vince looks fucking furious yeah yeah this is like the third or fourth segment for these now I'm like okay we can't
get it but this was good and yeah Austin just kind of needlin Vince needlin him lawler joins Jim Ross on commentary and they continue reacting to what we've just seen over the intro for the second hour was they've never done before yeah it's weird because this was a pre-record as well so you think they would have had a way to kind of shoehorn it in a bit better but yeah a new presentation every single week it seems to be the referral you can tell there's an element of this later in this hour that gives away that it's a pre-record but yeah but whether or not it's a case of as people are channel hopping they want to hear some storyline beats that maybe explain what's been happening maybe but either way McMahon opens the second hour walk it to the ring with Pat Siddharth Brisco he is drenched in beer he looks humiliated it turns out the conditions of McMahon's release were not just an apology but also the agreement to add an impartial enforcer to the ringside area for the match with Austin and do love at over the edge and McMahon is what McMahon was should have
said what McMahon should have said is there's nobody in the locker room that likes Steve Austin what McMahon did say is there's no one in that locker room I'm frightened of which is not what he should have said yeah because it's fucking it's not about you Vince it's not about you it's not about you Vince but of course it's all about him isn't it and you know did this need to be a living segment this could have just been a backstage 20 second blast it really could have been it really could have been but then it maybe it's to get the pop for what happens actually would have had that backstage because then McMahon announces that Austin will be competing tonight he is going one-on-one with the Undertaker player Hullah Hullah so I made event is Steve Austin versus the Undertaker apparently best to go round for that I definitely won't be disappointed yeah yeah I mean what it's it's all spoiled ahead it's a match for the ages it goes 45 minutes it makes us pray versus Omega look like you know me wanking in the dark that's
to say it makes it very erotic that's how we watch so Vega versus us pray if we've been talking about wanking so much today we're Jake did Jake Roberts teach us nothing he told us nothing stop white kid have a chip you bust operation DX attention road dog Billy gun China X Park Triple H on an air strip for a plane based mission of war Triple H says that this is going to be a solo mission and we have a veteran of war in their midst Q Road Dog all dressed up ready to go as a genuine army vet but he's not going on the mission it's Triple H and Triple H hilariously nearly gets in the wrong plane oh more on this later this might be spoiler ahead this is probably the shit is the express segment I've ever seen it was yeah it was pretty weird this wasn't a fucking rotted but we'll pick it up again in a bit as Jerry Lolland Jim Ross a resetting on
commentary Al Snow finally makes his way down from the bleachers he grabs Jerry Lolland and demands the meeting with McMahon that Jerry promised him and Jerry Lolland is is crying foul of all this in security then oh shall snow away and we don't see him again for the rest of the night yeah it's this is now is this the third week we've had Al Bach and his you know is returned of becoming more and more diminished let him on a mic or something and then get bundled away by security I don't know it's still nice to have Al here but I don't know where this is going not sure whether this is going myself but we are going straight into a light heavyweight title match between Takamichi Oku and Kiantai's Dick Toko roll is straight into this they talk about how Bradshaw has been teaching Takamichi Oku the ways of America but Bradshaw's not here tonight Takahai flying throughout this one Jerry Lolland on commentary hate Takamichi Oku there's that nickname again Takamichi No Club which I think is quite funny Dick Toko is a phenomenal wrestler he
is the master of the centon he fights back against Takas offense by dropping him as he falls out of the sky and then it's a cannonball to the floor he will then hit a gorgeous pelay kick on Takamichi Oku for a very near form revolutionary wrestling throughout this from both guys lovely counter to Takas tornado DDT just simply sees Dick Toko throwing Takahai into the air as he spins that was really nice Takahai then encounters a pop up power bomb from to Dick Toko with a Horikun Rana locks it in tight gets the one two three post match Takah goes to beat up Wally Yamaguchi the manager of Kiantai and all of the Kiantai boys jump in Funaki hits a fisherman's buster on Takahai and it breaks my heart because they are meant to be best friends in the wrestling cannon they will be and then Kiantai lead through the crowd Takahai and the light heavyweight title just left it a heap on the canvas this was fun it was very good match and they said on commentary like we say Dick Toko is fantastic and they kind of said he's the in-ring leader I think it's basically commentary said
yeah this felt as good but it got zero reaction he was doing Bretton Moon's salts and the crowd didn't care because he'd been conditioned by the WWE after that really care about let light heavyweight which is saddened stupid one thing that I will always say for Nitro even know you want it weak by weakening it to slog their idea of starting every episode of Nitro with here's the high flyers doing stuff we've never seen ever because this is fucking brilliant WWE F could have taken like a nicked that I'm not saying start every show with it but have the matches on early to really warm up the crowd they could have done that they could have absolutely done that and it's not a bad trick to have not a bad trick to have at all exactly get the crowd hot and then you can have DX in an airfield break it down I will I'm gonna take us backstage he's getting ready to fight Steve Austin will definitely be our main event later the cash roll GTX slam of the week is the Valvenous money shop from his debut last week as well we get a little video on that
and then back to the airfield we go where triple H is MIA and looks like all the other DX lads are going to charter a plane to go and find him he's a really shit the only thing about this is road dog called Billy gone rockabilly and we had a little chuckle nice they thought it was the funniest fucking thing that has ever been uttered I was like good for you lads did we really need this on TV oh crumbs uh Mark Marrow is out here he has got Sables contract these waving around I like how it's signed Mark Marrow and Sable their wrestling names on the contract which I suggest would make it null and void um Merrow has Sable by the thinner curl is it's a contract that is watertight is that she that he uh he she must be in his corner so she stuck with him she very aggressively disrobes him before this match and he gets very crossed with that he's facing Farouk who's challenging the rock for the intercontinental title this Sunday at over the edge uh this is pretty much a rinse and repeat from last week in terms of how this matches build uh we get early
offense from Farouk kick back from Mark Marrow Marrow uses some cheaty low blow shenanigans Sable gets on the apron to uh object to the cheating while she is up there for root recovers it's a close line of all things and wins one two three over Mark Marrow uh post match Marrow will tell Sable to find someone for him to face at over the edge if they win Sables contract is null and void if Marrow wins Sable must leave the WWF forever um again bit of a rinse repeat of last week jacquiorl ando but it was a thing that happened on roll yeah these two are capable of much better and the idea is Sable distracting the uh Marrow and the ref is fine but finish him off with something better than just a close line and for all that Sables over again she's she's got this weird kind of charisma in that she's you know of a luptual swarman but when Marrow is being like you know if someone if someone beat me
you're free to go but if i beat them you're gone forever Sable and she just goes i will see you this Sunday mark and no one gives a fuck because just um well they they like her it goes that saying but she's just not very good on the mic and i think that really affects things yeah and it's a shame when you've got sonny who has such like natural charisma and is good on the mic and is over with the fans but they just they put all uh wait behind the Sables reign they really have which is very annoying for all involved we get a video celebrating Pat Patterson his story career and his ex at what they'll do as a rigged out sir this Sunday yes and that was a Vince rib definitely that it wasn't yeah it kind of matches the Gerald brisco one that we got a few weeks ago yeah so it's Vince giving time to celebrate Pat Patterson anyway an established commentator and they show a clip of Pat Patterson just wiggling on about eating apples yeah because it was legit really saying you know he teamed with race Stevens he was the first
ever in a cotton out of champion he's a member of the Hall of Fame and then like you said he's great on the mic it just got cut stuff saying and then i i get the apple and with the with the apple and Vince is just like what the fuck's this fella talking about terrible promo so this did make me chuckle but again do we need this on TV uh i think it was a bit of a deliberate p-armoo for the evil corporation but it's this yeah yeah i would take this over the segment we got next well pray tell Tom what happened next we find out what triple eight's top secret mission is on this DX day he we have stock footage of somebody driving a bus jet and triple eight like in the little mic guys triple eights i'm locked in cockton i'm in the cock pit cock cock cock haha i'm on my mission to WC Derbyer we then get shots of the skyline above Atlanta and appalling appalling computer generated graphics of skywriting that says
days day WCW suck it DX rules it also says DX army bombs WCW and then triple eights versus the rock tonight on roll AI is transforming sales support and every customer interaction in between but too often you're sold a different AI agent for every job that changes with Finn Finn is a single customer agent that works across the entire customer journey from qualifying sales leads to resolving support issues Finn works across teams carrying context from one conversation to the next meet the agent making perfect customer experiences possible at fin.ai hi i'm max russian the host of the guardian football weekly alongside me Barry Glenn Denning my co-host hey Barry hello now although every american founders during the world cup for the two that what can i expect found us and fell in love with us max they can expect three episodes each week of occasionally insightful analysis covering the premier league champions league and beyond football
weekly is back watch on youtube or listen wherever you get your podcasts and then triple eights claims to trip they have footage of a bumping drops yeah and are they're going to stink more than they normally do now like they've dropped a stink bomb on wc to me yeah that's for all this we've taken the note to the b5 bits of what happens at the other spot and then i just put okay that was it okay what the fuck was this this was this was dog shit this is like one of those when you're playing too far in kind of universe mode on the w w games it's just like oh now triple h's keep it in mass mode with a fucking hurryage yet it's like what oh dreadful bit they've taken the whole dx military against wcw thing in a stupid direction this is Vince McMahon led it has to be this is Vince going let's have some fun i can't slag off
wcw but you guys can yeah they do it in such a shit manner for all that history is rewritten about dx and vade in nitrovertank they never talk about the time that triple h dropped a bomb made of shit and i hope this is the last of these dx army segments god i hope so too we'll have to wait and see we go to wrestling next which is a relief it's the rock versus triple h yes and i checked cage match this is the first ever singles match between the rock and triple h it's not is it not i checked cage match earlier and hunter hurts helmsley and rocky my v had a match in 1997 oh is that stupid cage match being like oh well the rock and triple h have only had under the gimmicks well they've got shite got shite i will i will double check because i have been wrong before yeah because i was thinking the back of my head the most of wrestled but when i
typed it in yeah i must have just taken it it went very wizzy wig what you see is what you get and even then cage match was wrong because triple h was listed as the word triple and then the letter h which is not called at this point he's called hh h but yeah apparently they pulled the wall over my eyes the silly buster um monday night raw when it was first day raw first day rocky my v defeated hunter her sound was for the intercontinental title i thought he had yes so we keep matches made me look like a twat so not only has it happened but we genuinely talked about it time is meaningful tom yeah the fuck in my head i was just like yeah yeah but anyway this is the first time the leader of the nation the rock has taken on the leader of the nation triple h technically i'm still right you can walk off yes yes yes yeah do you know what you're right in the sense that whilst rocky my via and hunter has helmsly fought in 97 this is the first time the rock and triple h have fought yes yeah but um what will become they'll become career rivals i'll say rock's greatest
rival for me is triple h and vice versa and we've been so in the seeds of the nation and dx starting to clash so to see them in these guys is no one on one it's quite exciting really really is the rock comes out to give his thoughts on the new wonder drug viagra he says he doesn't need it so he has no comment and gets food for it which mean you don't need cutinob pills you need not pills that's why you're called the novel viagra they're chewy not chalky come to viagra looking i ate 15 and couldn't sleep for a month i had tenable indigestion so i talk a couple of viagra and i feel much better watch what's there the tablets for a part to be honest i said no no tape there for your penis you are you are you are they make you're not really big oh that explains everything no wonder i was really a randy and had to shag a brain
dianna was furious i ruined the perfectly good pile of bricks in our house car that we keep for guests one of these days i'll build that hot the rock claims you'll leave over the edge as intercontinental champion and he will be the best dumber and a connell champ there ever was a nice little line that the rock continue to use triple H comes out next i'll know so triple H gets it next rather from the rock a rock talks about the triple H's fetish for a certain part of the anatomy if you smell what the rock is cooking the rock says he's got something nice and hard waiting for triple H it's called the rock bottom yeah there he is that's fine i like that oh hey you nice and hard do you have the same way the same mistake i did because yeah you shagged a brick it's really hard how many times have i told you to shag a brick hello bald dog it's jeans bald dog every once jeans bald dog all right lads oh remember what i'm i'm i just move that posture because it
looks it could be miss could be missed could strewed i was going to say hey we put your arm down i'll have to do it again and remember what jeans bald dog always says if the gloves don't fit don't do a shit goodbye i had a jeans bald dog action figured to the right of me all throughout this show because i'm in money wise salation station in money office and it only i only just spotted it as we were talking oh and there's that rick flare on the end of your finger i don't know what you're talking about i just saw basically what looked like a rick flare centipede and it was fucking that's fucking terrifying i was like brats sure it is just got their heads on me dad why because i had to buy the figures to take the ads off to use them for other things because for you know it farted around and then i got the heads and i don't need them so i just got to put the minute envelope and send to aden gibbons without any notes and put them in send to aden gibbons
with just a date you're next you're bastard take a picture of his house yeah picture of his house those severed heads are at date and a one pound coin and deliver it will i won't even knock i'll make all that journey all the way to the new castle and deliver that i don't just leg it into the name and deliver it is even frightening even so we kick off nice and slow with this when it goes outside the ring we see china attack the rock outside the ring mark Henry comes over and he and china go nose to nose and everybody goes oh she could batter him the rock gains the advantage with a little help from an interfering mark Henry and a shot with the intercontinental title belt the rock goes recover and china pulls the rock off of triple h to break the cover trips will fight back after the break a pedigree gets counted with a backdrop to the floor and we see Henry put in the stomps and choking on triple h and china takes the long way around she goes anti clockwise around the ring with the steel chair so she can
smack it into the big back of mark Henry uh mark Henry does not react to this it begins to stalk china uh triple h runs from behind pushes mark Henry into the steel steps by this point both the rock and triple h have been counted out and that is the end of the match which is a shame because I thought this was really fucking good um but I was surprised surprised triple h and the rock have good chemistry this kind of felt like a paper view box it started slow and built and like we said there was shenanigans but I thought this was really good uh for a tv match excellent um and as a first kind of major shot in this feud fantastic um but that's not all that happened in this match was it is not because post match the rock takes his leave he's giving it all this talking smack at his head so at the ramp he's attacked by forook who fucking puts him on the floor with a pile driver on the top of the stage and the rock bounces off of this pile driver in almost comedic but also very aggressive fashion yeah and uh triple h just pisses himself off of the ring go huh you really break your neck dick uh he is die laughing as the rock eats a pile driver I seem to think the rock
will wear a neck brace on sunday because of this it's weird because over the edge one of the ones I had on video as a kid I can't remember at all so that shows it was a great show I have this image of the rock like overselling an injured neck and I feel like it's over the edge um I might be wrong after a quick google image search like actually I might I might be just talking out of my backside or thinking of a different match well you've got a lovely backside so I'm here for thank you very much I appreciate that um yeah so we'll see them at and over the edge having a lovely time Austin's ready to go for our main event there he is backstage looking surly and it's time for Austin versus the undertaker to headline Raw introduce you to be special guest referee Mr McMahon and JR echoes the sentiments of the crowd at us watching this going off a fox egg come on this one no shite don't worry though because we're definitely going to have a
main event because Vince comes out with about nine minutes left of Raw yeah that's all looking good here comes the undertaker to chew up the other five as he makes his way to the ring um take it is in the corner unbothered moisturized taking off his jacket whilst Vince is in the middle of the ring like flexing his muscles to like anyone that will look like just showing off his muscles and this bothers the undertaker eventually who walks over to him and under and thank God McMahon didn't do what he's always been doing for the last few weeks and in undertaker and McMahon seems to properly shit himself as don't undertake a towers over him and we think oh this like an intimidation tactic for the main event no this is the main event because he is undertaker to choke slam Mr McMahon straight to hell but the pop that got from the crowd was deafening so for all that we complain about it and the fact that there's two minutes and like 15 seconds of Raw left the crowd loved it and it's working really years take it then we'll go to tombstone Vince
for man which the crowd are into but here's came to fight with undertaker a brawl then breaks out between the two of them and end up brawling into the crowd and out of size pass and and brisco get into the ring to check on Mr McMahon but Austin's music then hits and here comes Steve Austin cap off the night stunner to Gerald briscoe stunner to pat paterson he then ties up Vince for man in the ring ropes and looks like he's gonna fucking smash the steel chair over his head and crack his skull in half and takes a little longer to do it because and the camera's a bit close in on it because as he goes the swing it dude love has appeared running running up the ramp making the safe for his boss and instead of hitting McMahon Austin twat's dude love instead and this gives paterson briscoe chance to free McMahon and they scarper off leaving Austin alone in the ring with dude love down and out heading into over the edge on sunday where Austin has all the odd stacked against him against the corporation thoughts on the final segment wasn't even a match it
was a segment well it's got big heat but really it's it's got to be a bit of a waste of time and it's weird that in the go home segment and the go home episode dude love whose the number one contender was on screen for four seconds and got twatted with a chair instantly which is very weak and the idea that the the deck is stacked against Austin but he's standing tall in like the go home segment was also weird looking but the crowd were massively into this can and on to take a brawling through the crowd was hot Austin fucking with Vince was heart taker it's all over so you can't fault the reason in behind it but it just I just wanted a bit more Tom. What about you? I wanted my camera to not switch off as we're getting to the end of the show but it has I think the battery died but I was still here you can still hear me right? Yeah I can still hear you yeah that means I'm lovely I'll have to entertain the patrons with
my little finger puppets as you tell me about what you thought of the main event segment. I thought it was nice to see but man show a little bit of concern against another wrestler I thought that was a relief I thought he was just going to be honestly just forever the hardest man in all of wrestling that would have really done my editing if that had been the case but thankfully that is not the case which I'm very pleased about. It's a choice to get to the show to the pay view in this way it doesn't really feel I feel like I think we said this the day I feel like that they build to this show kind of ran out of steam about two weeks ago I feel like if they gone to the pay view two weeks ago would have been fine very rarely do we have a situation where we have too much time between pay per views and storyline wise this was ready to go about two weeks ago yeah it's been a weird build and like the episodes of Raw have been a bit all over the place we've had some shit we've had some excellent and this one for me was okay there was too much
fence too little dude love everything in between was fine in ring was you know rock vs triple H was very good but a very staggered uneven build to the pay per view I'm looking forward to watching it because I remember the main event being fun but I have no memory of the show at all apart from okay investors Vader of course but yeah it's it's it's a very odd build what did you what do you think of Rodney yeah I thought it was I thought it was a good show I didn't hate it there were some fun little bits in there I don't think it was the strongest episode of Raw very much felt like it was it was literally just getting to the finish line because there was a little bit of rinse repeat in terms of what they did in the last few weeks it was the same setup for Merrow and Savile with the addition of announcing the match it was the same it was another section of DX just being just weird military men more undertaker of Kane running around more Vader and Kane running around
and then more Austin and McMahon police based shenanigans hmm yeah it was the kind of overact the porting on that and like we're saying concern this was a go home some of the segments could have been a little tidier they could have been you know just like a quick backstage it if you with I don't know like who who are the outlaws taking on at the pay per view I can't even remember I don't think they have an opponent do they exactly like you'd expect the tag champions to have a match but apparently not I don't know it's just yeah an odd one but like you can't really fault it because it's over it it works it's entertaining for yeah just it does when you realize the choices that are made you're like oh that's that's an odd one I wouldn't have done that yeah it was a strange choice to do it but look we're basically we're there now so I'm quite relieved that we've actually made it to the actual show because it was we were we were running on fumes to get there I have to say we were running on fumes but there he is I got on I was
going to say who's your money on to win then is it stone cold ski Boston or is it dude love oh I think dude love is going to become the wwf champion that seems obvious me too it's definitely going to happen well we will all find out together when we get there on the cult classic raw review because next week we will be watching all the way through the over the edge pay per view of 1998 if you're a patreon video subscriber you can watch along with us there the audio track will be available at exactly the same time as well you can join us there too anything you want to plug jatty or land or if you've not watched it already and by the time this comes comes out it will be in a week all the footage and all the coverage of AEW all in it's been doing gangbusters because it was a good show and good work was done by good people that's nice well what about you Tom what have you
got to plug I would suggest you check out if you haven't done so already I'll give a plug to nx tweddle because I don't think I've done that on the classic raw review yet you loved the classic you loved the not classic you loved when Ross and the team would break down nx t per week and obviously when the podcast got redesigned rebuilt and reclaimed that was missing so the decision was made to make it its own thing which is pretty cool yeah because I I drop in and out with the main podcast because you know I was a fan before I worked for quarter holic obviously now I am part of the team oh he's back oh there's his fish there we go yeah Ross's love for nx t is the purest kind of love there is it there it really is and I love him for it and I think I've got off again I think I've got off again me Lord it'll pop up for me for the first broadcast from
the new isolation station it's gone magnificently and I've all been grateful for you I mean if you're listening on the audio version it's been fine no difference to normal it's been seamless it's been a seamless transition but for everywhere else no but it's fine so join us for that we are fast approaching all out that's the next thing you know it feels like the pay views are a little bit more spaced out lately yeah yeah it's uh was it through it's going to be three weeks between them usually it feels about four days between all in and all that but it does I think the momentum with AW at the moment makes it feel like people are excited for it whereas usually people are just like fuck me I've barely finished me first course what you mean I've got to eat such rolls now but no more wrestling as long as wrestling's good it doesn't matter what you like if you enjoy it than champion it there it is that's what it's all about that and indeed the oki-koki and thank you if you want to thank you if you came and said hi honestly it's um it's one of those things where we
do these shows from studios are the other end of the country there we go um that's back for about nine seconds um we do studios from all over the place but we are always reassured and buoyed when we get to see you live and actually get to meet you in person and you come over and say nice things it means a lot so thank you if you made the effort to do that and if you didn't fuck off and for the very latest wrestling news at any time you can check out Colta holly.com he is at Jackie O'Lando nowhere I've at Tom Campbell some places together I can't hold it over getting to join us and remember it but bird in the end it's worth a shit in your pants thank you thank you have a lovely day oh 99's gonna hit like fucking crack with the fuck of it.
