Hi, putt vans Max Russian here from the chart topping Guardian football weekly podcast. Don't not to cry. If you enjoy the World Cup with us, you'll be glad to know we're back for the Premier League season expect three episodes of week questionable predictions and the biggest stories in soccer from the Premier League to the Champions League and beyond. Watch now on YouTube or listen wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Jake Stauk, co-founder and CEO of Survelled. We built Survelled to automate the IT work that slows companies down. Inboarding, password resets, access to applications, my laptop stopped working, while employees wait for help their real work is put on hold. IT desperately wants to automate this work and that's why they need Survelled. You just tell Survelled what you want to automate in plain English and it's built. No drag and drop workflows, no expensive consultants. Employees get unblocked and IT teams go from drowning in tickets to building what actually matters. Survelled IT becomes the AI engine powering the entire company. This is a new way to run IT.
We guarantee you'll automate 50% of all tickets and we'll prove it to you in a free four-week pilot. Go to Survelled.com slash tickets. That's S-E-R-V-A-L dot com slash tickets. It's Showtime, folks! This is where the big boys play, huh? Woo! Look at the doorbell. He's ready. Oh, no! It's going to be the biggest battleground in the history of our sport. We're the most brilliant of us in the history of our sport. It's the Call of Classic Knights, we're all review. We are watching every episode of Monday Night Show from the very beginning to the bit to end. I'll be fake Jordy, ready to present without portfolio time. I'm joined by Resident WTW Kids, I'm going to... You're right. Yeah, I'm alright, how you doing? I'm good, mate. We recorded two episodes back to back a while ago, so we've not sat down to do this in a bit.
No, we haven't. I have been inundated with what? With one particular... With neereal disease. Obviously, that ass shugging around. Always, all the way around Wembleyway. I've been inundated with people, ass-kicking... He's got stuff you've not even heard of. Hepatite this F. I didn't even know they went in that far up. That won't just affect your knob. Exclusively the tip of your knob as well. It makes it inside out and cross it like a cabab. It is such a mess down there. I swear to God, I don't go down there with anything less than like... You know those wipes you get from KFC toys, but without the ball attached. You know those wipes you get from KFC? It's all that works down there. Yeah. Other wipes, no. Just the ones from KFC. Give me a dip and some eyes, a pro blog, a whole and... Quick trip to the kernel and send it to better. No, but as well as that, I've been linked to this one video I'm going to show you now for our mail. Oh, yeah, I've seen it. Hundreds and hundreds of the times. I'm going to show you now.
I fucking stipulation. Nobody's dead. The crowd have a mean cast to see. There's no fucking guns. There's no threat. Look at it, he's landing on lilos. That was me, that would be spikes. Not one of those crappy w beds of spikes and real spikes. Small combat shit. No, a single gun. Correct. Swimming pool. Where's that going to be? It's a dream too. The more point is that it just ends up when that weird bit of the ocean were all the currents just keep away from it. It is forever. It was in the air that he just will. He jumped out. You wouldn't do that in my shoes. He jumped. Forward. Forward. Forward WWE star, a die jack was among the names that competed out with him in the lane. Sue with him and all. Just the other day, a bag of bag of Zarest. Look how cool he looks though as he crosses. Crossed the lilos into the into the water ring. Well, see how cool he looks when there's fucking turrets involved. Well, this is it. So the reason that we're doing this is because early on in the podcast, Sam pitched the idea of having a wrestling ring in the middle of the ocean, which featured gun turrets to stop people from leaving.
It came and became a recurring theme and a joke on this podcast. It wasn't so much that you would basically invite all of the people you don't have. All of the people you don't like and then not show up and then they'd be in the crowd on bleachers. And then this whole arena would just all the walls would give way. And it's revealed that you've been getting towed out to see this entire time. So the crowd is just left a drift. They're not linked. So the stand ends up in a completely different place. But yeah, the rings there. There's helicopters that drop off enough food for maybe three people once a week. Sharks. Guns. It's types of guns that you could only dream off like they're capable of shooting around corners and all sorts. And there's only space for one person to sleep. I think if anybody stops working at all at any point, then, you know, there's there's turrets and there's there's watchtowers and guards and stuff. It's also broadcast live around the world. I feel like this is mine. This is your idea. I'm sorry of my idea and they've got die jacking on it. How much are they paying you, Donovan?
How much are they paying? Yeah, that's what we thought. Well, thanks to after our Crimson feed James impressed and Daniel Lewis and Hardy Paul Matt embossed the Massachusetts Strider and Conner McLeod who all reached out over the last few weeks ago. How have you seen this? There are probably others that have tagged me on their Facebook and the TikTok as well. The only thing is to target target basically TNA wrestling target them because they've got that hometown man shot. Rip off everybody stealing my ideas. Well, you book Roman Rangers Goldberg. I did. I did. And I think everybody stealing my ideas wrestling always comes back to you. It's a piss take. It's a piss take really. I'm owed millions. I'm owed millions and you can't just get away with that gimmick without that being death involved. That's the whole point. We understand that nobody died during that show. We'll turn water mania. And they're planning to do it again because they sign off by saying see you next year. So there will be that one's when I piss in that pool. If you're not inviting sound drive into me a part of Bagazone, Bagazone wrestling water mania next year.
We're going to do it at the pier on the North Sea and we're just going to let it go. Yeah, we're just going to let it go. Like no, it shouldn't be controlled. It should just be allowed to go to the promoters of Bagazone wrestling. It sounds got some great ideas that can enhance the water mania too. Barbed wire that explodes but just looks like normal barbed wire so that nobody knows if it's gimmicked barbed wire or not. That's part of the fun. Affair it but it's only trained to eat human skin. Nothing more just the skin. Just the skin. See this is just peeling off bits. This kind of creative. That comes out of the term buckle corner posts. Imagine the international ratings. It'll go over big in certain markets I think. That's it. You're going to be big in Iron Apple. Yeah. I think there's when it sales by fuck yeah. Imagine the pop edge of that there are a little parties. Yeah. A different shores. And that'll be really fun if anybody wants to try and jump the barricade. Get in there. Go on then. You are now part of the machine.
You just need a helicopter. You're now part of the machine. And a militia. Maybe we start our own band of mercenaries. They can sort of put them in ref shirts. Like pirates. Or put them in ref shirts. No pirates. Pirates. Pirates is different. Piracy is stealing from people on the high. Okay. We suggested that there was a ring on the high seas with a militia that floated up and. Yeah. That sounds like pirates. No, because they're not stealing anything Tom. The hearts of my. Piracy is theft. You wouldn't steal our dog. But you wouldn't hold a shotgun up and go get back in the ring. That's a militia. Right. Very, very. So a militia then. So we are now. I'm just angry about all this. That can tell. Yeah. If you want to be part of my private company, then then let's go. Right in. Let's start taking recruits. Classic at cultaholic.com. If you'd like to recruit for the militia that will invade Bangazone wrestling next year. I think we use mercenary. It's a bit of a nicer sound.
Yeah. Mercenaries. Militia is a bit like. Yeah. Mercenary is a bit. Yeah. Well, the mercenaries. You can be part of the sound driver mercenaries. Yeah. We'll give it a name at some point. I'll come up with something. There you go. Classic at cultaholic.com. If you would like to do that, we are 24 hours removed from starcade 1997. That was. It was a chore to get through. What a fucking slot. Yeah. It was a fucking slog. A one match show and that match literally shitted hands with violent diarrhea. Licked it up and then shit is pants again. Did it just. It was fucking brutal. Oh my god. Just shite. Well, there is the fallout to get to from there today. Well, yeah, we've got heart storms in and he thinks he owns the place because fucking Vince screwed him over. So, he's a normal speed count and goes out to fast count. Just makes himself referee all of a sudden. Fucking bullshit. You were the Larry ref. Well, the Larry was the Larry. And the Larry was part of the kickoff and Monday night shows.
We'll get to in just a second. No, he was the Larry ref. The Larry ref. Brett was Larry's ref. And ever he was also the Larry. Brett isn't Larry. Brett isn't Larry. Is Larry's a bit. Are you sure though? Yes. Just chit. He was stood next to each other in the ring. Well, that could be AI. Not in 1997. Well, they put a hat on Jarrett. Well, that was different. That's big hat. And you know, he's he's willing to go along with it because anything for a quick book. He is indeed. God love him. We recap at the start and I tried the debacle of a main event between Hogan and Sting in Star of the Starcade 97. Whilst what sounds like a brown note plays behind it, which I thought was appropriate. It was appropriate because you pan out the reveal. They've made it all WCW again. Yeah. And that went to the Nitro. The buff worked really hard on that. The NWO Night Row canvas. Yeah, he spray painted it the wrong way. The wrong way. And you fucking took it back up here. Your pieces are shit. Purple and gold balloons fall from the ceiling.
The colors of Nitro. Really? It's yellow. It's purple and yellow. Well, they said purple and gold. That's what Nitro is purple and yellow. I've seen the logo. I know the crack. The Nitro Girls dance to get it started and this is a bit of a showcase for fire. The Nitro Girls fire. Yeah. Who does some lovely poses and yoga and stretches in the ring. And at one point it was... What do you call it? Where you see them at Cirque du Soleil. Contortionist. Contortionist. She's like a contortionist. Yes. It's almost like she discovered a new hobby. She went, I want to do that. The Nitro Girls thing. And I'm just going to fold my spine in half. Yeah. Just casually doing that. Why not? That's what she did. So there's a point where all the Nitro Girls left and just left her to do all the contortionist on her own. And I thought, what, I love it. A little solo showcase. But the reason that they did that was so they can get up the ramp. And they can shit in her sandwich backstage for thinking that she owns the place, right? That's all that girls. That's all go shit in her sandwich.
Now it was to greet the true hero of WCW. The true icon of WCW who saved WCW. We are welcome Larry's abisco to the show. Really happy to be there. Welcome to Larry. And then Tony alienates all of the fat smelly basement dwelling smelly fat smelly fans that worship the NWO without realizing that's just your whole audience. That's the entire audience. Yeah. All 80 to 25 year old NWO fans who live with their living their mom's basement should put Cartoon Network on says Tony because space ghost is on. And I went, oh, get in. I want space ghosts. You can't in the UK because it's already changed over to you and T Tony. You're a America centrist mindset. You fucking dick. And I can't watch space ghosts then. I love space ghost. Space ghost coast coast was the fucking fantastic. But he was talking about just space ghost the show. So he's old. I thought he said space ghost coast coast coast.
I didn't hear what he was saying. I was ignoring him. I don't even space ghost coast coast. I don't listen to Tony. Oh, what's he going to do? Go. It's dig. Oh, go. That was a crazy move. Everybody's moaned about JR. You know, yeah, well, we're talking about all in. We got the biggest thing. It's talking about general Tony, general Tony. The head of the Sam Dreyf and Merzenriss general fucking not general. Tony. So we've got the commentary team. We got the boys packed together. It's Tony. It's Mike. It's Larry and our opening match is Glacier taking on Goldberg. Billburg the billboard. Do you remember when Glacier was the hot prospect for the company and they were getting him over like, rovers. He should have sold more fucking toys. He should have sold more fucking toys because I wonder what's going to happen here. Well, Glacier tries to get his shit in like a marketing de shitter and then immediately gets put in his ass, spear, Jackie Hambone, one, two, three. Well, I think that's the end of the push for Glacier. Well, I mean, nah, there's still gas in the tank.
I don't know. He can still stay cool. I don't still give him a bit of snow. That a cool thing to do. I think he's got his dad's police badge. Number engraved into his big chest protector and a magic hat. He didn't help him. He's got a magic hat. He did not help him. Glacier has a magic hat. Speaking of things that sit on the head. Wang Ring. Here's Mingi Nocolon. To one time. And I quote, crank it for the newest member of WCW. I feel like the more we've made jokes about Mingi Nocolon being an Olympic level masterbater. He makes, he just lines like that. All you can hear is behind him going, we're going to crank it. It's just the whole time. The whole time. And his right arm is nowhere to be seen. Never noticed that. You're right. You just see it moving, sort of like this. Well, he stands there with the mic. I'm here. Over and over again.
Like Meltzer watching a mega spray. And Jean Cranxitz. And he invites us to crank it with him to the arrival of Brett the hitman heart. Yep. So I've been reading Brett's book again recently. And at this time, I've got a coffee-tailed book of 50 women I've shagged. It's far more than 50. Give him some fucking credit, Jesus. By the way, Julie had it coming. But, tell us who's the only one that didn't, I'll be honest. Around that time, just post-screwed job. He's making decent jokes, which he should know better. He's a married man. I'm just saying. So was Brett. Wait for Alex's coffee table. But it's like, um... Here's 17 showers that Tom was crying alone. Talking about my hero like that. But around this time, Davey was wriggling or trying to wriggle free from WWF with fake ankle injury. He'd been pretty but her about the fact that, you know, the...
You know, I'm going to win this for my diet and sister. I thought, I don't think that works for me. Sure, Michael's. But around that time as well, Owen was petitioning the Vince to sort of leave. Brett's terrified before he makes, like, his debut here about how he's going to be seen by the US audience because they've been doing the whole He hates Americans thing. So there is a little bit of, like, posturing on the side of commentary and everything else about him, like, you know, being an American hero even though he's Canadian. But yeah, it just gives a bit of a rarer our speech about justice. It says that the NWO... Yeah, they do suck when somebody shouts the NWO suck. And he says, then the lowest bunch of scum that remind him of the scummy just left behind. He then looks forward to satisfying all the little dubsy double maniacs. Heipes up giant legs, Benny Bulls sting. These are the lads that he wants to get all sweaty and roll around with in front of you. He then calls Nash Hall, Savage, and Hogan out.
But refers to Hall as scum. Hall's the only one, like, it's Hall's scum. Which another thing from his boot before they made the jump. Razer apparently sat at hotel like all day. This kid was like sat outside the restaurant waiting to get a signature from him. He passed him on the way in, sat there and just ignored the kid all day. Got up, got to the kid and just went, no, I don't think I have to do this anymore. And then just walked off and Brett was like, yeah, now I'd never liked him after all. Oh, that's how I was like, oh, just a little bit, just a little bit fresh. Oh, that's a bit mean. You do it all the fucking time. Yeah, no, but I'm not scull. You walk up to North Fans and you're, you're shit in your hand and you're rubbing on that. Just face. High face and air you are. You're so low. I'm in the ring. I'm the star. Who the fuck are you? You've done it every promotion. Progress. They don't know you're doing it yet, but I've seen the pictures of dissatisfied Cole to Hall like a median. Some of them crying.
Some of them crying because you put shit in their eye. Well, they should have got a bit. They should have respected that I'm the superstar and they're not. It's what you keep saying. That's what I've been saying. You know, and then you're really rude about them in the office. You should hear the things he was saying about to everybody who ruined you know, all those countless times. Monstrous person. I am the one. He said if I was Jeff, I would have done it as well. And then he looked at Kurt Angle and went fucking him. Oh, yeah. Yes, that. Definitely that. It's funny that you mentioned the other members of the half foundation. Yes. Jim Knighthart was backstage in this episode of Nigel. Yeah. And when it comes to the bulldog, the observer says, and there might be some dissambiguation, the observer says, that actually Dave Boyce Smith agreed to a deal with WCW on Christmas Day. Yeah. So it's like the lead up to and in and around him leaving after the screw job.
So November through December, that's all happening. Yeah. But I think before this had been jobbed out on TV, that's made a mockery of. So he jumps. But I think he's the first one for them to put Penta paper like it's Knighthart as the one he agrees to come in. I think it was only 150,000 a year. So it's a pretty. Well, he, he, he paid the WWF 150,000. Well, he owed them dollars to buy out the final 32 months of his original five-year deal. But he still owed Vince money for the airline incident where he. Oh, there was a hostess or an air host who said basically that he acted violent when he hadn't. They tried to sue the WWF and he was like, well, there's proof like you, I didn't do any of that. So Vince went, we're out of count as soon. Vince got him something like $600,000 and never once paid him a penny of his legal fees back. So Knighthart owed Vince money, which I think was really funny. And I hope that he left without paying him.
We could see Bulldog, however, fucking Kawasaki Ninja and that was it and drove off in it. Vane, the circuit left. They went back up North and he just drove around doing drugs riding his motorbike. That's how Jim Knighthart was. Son boy. It's looking like Davey Boyster, it ain't going to be at a wrestle for a little bit because he's recovering from arthroscopic nieces. Because he's an I quote, fuck, because he's like, quote, fuck spread. But he may turn up in an interview segment on the first episode of Thunder, which is coming up next week. Woo! There will be no Thunder review. No. We, I think we should... We'll mention headlines and shit when stuff happens. Yeah. We'll probably watch the first episode. I think as a side quest, we should watch the first Thunder. But then from then on, it's just the important stuff from... I want to see the corrugated shed one more time. Yeah. Yeah. So you're not getting a classic Thunder review, you can piss off. But you win with TNA, say with anything else, with what our hands fucking fall here. You know what? You fucking do one.
What are you doing? That's a first. Usually you say, no, no, no, you stay out of the sphere. I'm the star. I'm the star. I'm now at a point where I'm going, you fucking, you want a TNA review? You fucking do one. See this? Do one yourself. Do one yourself. This is the worst thing I was telling you about. See how the horribly is. Put the effort in. It's because he knows what's going in that coffee table. Oh, I don't know how to do it, podcast. Fucking learn. I add two. I add two. You fucking learn. I haven't got a microphone. Get one. Pa-vo. That's his actual feeling, by the way. He is a blue voter. He is from the area that the blue people like the best. So, you know, just take that with a grain of Thomas Horrible. I'd say the only blue vote I ever did was to buy 10 copies of the I465 single. Time blew to have a day. Not what he said on pole and day when he came in and just looked at us and went, Labor, Labor, Spatt in our faces.
And then he snatched all the milk off our desks. I did. And he went, Thatcher was fucking great. And then he boshed one out, no picture of Thatcher and sent a video of it around the office. Even though he was doing it in front of us anyway. I just wanted you all to have a copy of that. I decided with him for some reason because I had to just lump it. Do you know why? Because I'm a jar. If you were HR, I would have found the highest thing I could find. And I would have went for a big old fucking swim. Hi, I'm Max Rochden, the host of The Guardian Football Weekly, alongside me Barry Glenn Denning, my co-host, hey Barry. Hello. Now, although every American found us during the World Cup, for the two that didn't, what can they expect? Found us and fell in love with us, Max. They can expect three episodes each week of occasionally insightful analysis, covering the Premier League, Champions League, and beyond. Football Weekly is back. Watch on YouTube or listen where I do get your podcasts. I'm Jake Stauk, co-founder and CEO of Serval.

Go to Serval.com slash tickets. That's S-E-R-V-A-L dot com slash tickets. Have you heard that McDonald's spicy chicken McNuggets made with spicy tempura
and a blend of aged cayenne are back? Remember to grab a few extra napkins. Bottom up, bottom up. For a limited time, I'm anticipating McDonald's. You and an HR department is not what the world needs. As much as I love you. As much as I love you, every single time I've had to use HR, they basically go like, wait, you've got like recorded evidence of this all happening, yes. Yeah, but we're going to start with them. We thought about it. We've decided that even though there's evidence, we've decided fuck you. Get fucked. You just be like, you get to pay out, you get this, you get five months off work, fuck it. Wow, it's too nice. Well also simultaneously being horrible. Horrible about the viewers. The nicest one can overmage that you in the office.
He made aid and watch. Oh, Aiden was happy to watch. She was a fit you back in the day. This is disgusting. It says the end of the nitro review. It's the end of David Boyce Smith in the world. He's probably called away for fucking thunder because it's blue. Oh, I love beer blue. I love a beer blue. Well, might as well see David in a week or so. We might see him wrestle. Oh, you tell him to fuck off and do his own podcast. But he's dead. Oh, I have to bring that up man. You horrible piece of shit. That's not what you mean. He is actually dead. He's not being life-a-billist. I can't get a dead man to do a podcast unless it's the undertaker. I think that you just really overstepped a mark there. That's brutal. I think all the things I've said is saying that the bulldog has passed away. Speechless. Speechless. Don't worry, I am speech full because Raven and the flock are here.
Mess the team. The mess the team. Raven says, Christ. Raven says Chris Benoit is a massacres than has serious psychological damage. Buh-buh-buh-buh-buh. If he insists on taking damage, they'll insist on giving it to him, not the wallstone radar. It's hammer this week taking on Chris Benoit and Benoit, he walks down the ramp, just torpedoes himself into the nest, slash the team. Which has worked before, clearly. He did it that one time. I got the shit kicked out of him. And they basically kicked the shell of him and body surfing back to the ring. Where hammer gave him a hammer in for a bit. That was until Benoit was able to pull out the cross face, I don't know where. And as he puts it on, the flock, the nest, the team all hit the ring and put the stomps to Benoit. But who's this coming to his aid? I'll tell you. I'll tell you. It's Mongo McMichael, a true horseman coming to his aid. Unlike Jeff, I'm a shipbag who once punched a kid in the face for no reason, Jarrett.
Look, he wasn't a horseman. Should have mentioned that when I saw him. He wasn't a horseman. He should have. He's out of bed he was. He's not a horseman. He's not on any move. No one is now. There are legacy units of the horseman and he's not on any of them. There is. He can dress up like Ric Flair, all he likes in his bedroom. You know, he could do what he wants. He could pretend to be a horseman. Well, that's all he was doing at the end of the day. He was never an advert on horseback. Cosplaying as a horseman. Yeah. It's one of those cosplay wrestlers that we hear about so much these days. Speaking of cosplay as Ric Flair, why grump? With the actual Ric Flair is coming on next. And you won't believe what Ric Flair brings up. Honestly. Honestly. Well, Jean first says he first brings up.
He's two for two here because he starts talking about popping all over the place and making a big mess on the floor. Get a ginky froker. Out comes Flair and he does the mean. Woo, Jean. And then he cuts the exact promo he always cuts. And would you believe that he's still going after big? Hello. Well, they did have their match at Starcade, didn't they? So, therefore, put it in the fucking ground. Put it in the ground. Seems a bit mean. Put it in the ground. Why are we still, you slammed a door in your face. We've had nine matches since then. It was the worst pay-per-view ever. Just come on. Just roll with it. Pick a fight with Bret Hart, which he does. Which he does. Which he does. Let's move out of the enig situation. So he puts over Sting and then he puts over Bret Hart. He dresses Bret Hart saying that he's actually very annoyed that of all the people that were mentioned, Ric Flair was not among them, which I thought was an oversight by Bret, but actually was a storyline tick for me. Flair reads high praise for himself, not in the Calgary article,
but the Baltimore San Arthico. But the Baltimore San Arthico. At Jumpin' Over. There's never been a guy to put on the performances he has says editor Dave Mellsell, the wrestling observer. He is the greatest in his sport, referring to Ric Flair. Probably the only time Meltzer will be mentioned positively on any programming until AEW becomes a thing. The plan was going to be to put Bret Hart and Ric Flair together as Ric Flair first viewed anyway, because originally we were going to have a an NWO show and a WCW show. And that was going to be the focus for the WCW show. No. No. Tag him. Tag you, no. Bret. I mean, eventually he becomes a horseman. And then Ric goes, Bret, you're the leader of the four horsemen now. I could never be as good as you are. I'll see you later. He is all of my ropes. And receipts for all of my ropes. And also you can use my name Flair for a gardening service, which I'm not even going to let my own son do. But for that brief period where Flair's like maybe he could take over the horseman,
they tag together as Brick. Brick. Brick. Brick. Brick. Brick. BR IC. Brick. And then they bicker, because Rick's full name's in there, but it's the BR from Bret and the IC from Rick. And then Rick eventually gets too big for his boots. Then they fight over the name a bit, because Rick's like, why can't it be react and Bret's like, that just doesn't work as well as Brick does. Come on, we've got Brick theme. So it's a bigger, it's a bigger Brit. And then the other, they have a bit of a brick, a brick, a bricker. And then, and then eventually Rick loses and, and Bret becomes leader of the horseman forever. Or you have Brick break up. And it comes out in a signature hat that says, BH on the front in like bike reflectors. And he's got the roadie with him. And he starts doing this. And he starts saying things like, A and I, the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. And then Deborah gets involved.
He starts smashing guitars on people. Oh, that would be a unique character for Bret. He played a cowboy on a TV show. He did play a cowboy on a TV show. That would work perfectly fine. And it's giving me, no one else is using. So why do you use it? Exactly. And ultimately, the only thing he's just using. And ultimately, next challenging Eddie Guerrero for the WCW Cruz away title. Yeah. Oldamo makes his entrance. Commentary are hyping the fact that all the most about to appear at the January 4th show for 1998, over in the Tokyo Dome. And Eddie jumps dragon on the ramp. And this is not what you were expecting when you see Oldamo dragon come out. You're expecting like a knock down, drag out a fair, but in a high car crash style, the likes of which the lucha and cruiserweight divisions have pioneered in WCW for American audiences. But basically Eddie jumps in for a bit. And then Oldamo gets a lucky dragon sleeper on. Yeah. That's that's it.
A real nothing of a match. Eddie blocks an acid Frankenstein and then just as it looks like Eddie to go for something big, he ends up getting turned around and turned into a dragon sleeper. Yeah. Tapity tap tap tap. New WCW Cruz away champion, it's Oldamo dragon. Yeah. So he's got that belt for his January 4th show appearance. Which I feel was why they did it. Because Eddie gets his heat back immediately by chucking Oldamo dragging out of the ring. Given them the belt and told him to take it over, they don't know of your champ or not. Fucking have fun. Here's five replicas. Take over the world. One of the replicas with you. That's fun. I like how I give you all Cogan just be like, yeah, of course I have. But the mask you see. So no one recognized it. Eddie throwing dragon out of the ring whilst dragons music continued to play off. It was very funny. Yeah. Otherwise though it was it was a shite match. It wasn't like a barn burner. No, it was not the barn that did burn. Hogan and Eric Bishop come out next and they look grumpy. Probably because you told Hulk to start his own podcast to something different of Eric last week.
No, I told Bulldog to start his own podcast. Now you said Bulldog to start his own podcast and I said he can't. He's dead. Yeah. But then you went to Hogan's grave while Eric was there and you went, why don't you start a podcast? Oh, you can't. I'm the star. I'm the ring. I'm the star. You're in the cold ground. Oh, I'm sorry, Hogan. When did you announce a Wembley arena? See, look at that. Ragnan, saying that he's a star, saying that he's above all the little people. This is the person you all thinks nice. High up. All the way up. You all think he's nice. Monstrous. Genuinely. Monstrous. The ego knows no bounds. It is an unbounded, it's like a broken book. It's unbound. Even worse with the similes and metaphors. Hey. Some would say somehow worse than Shaggin Margaret Thatcher. There's a mate of mine who has allergic to similes. We had to avoid him like the plague.
This is the final episode of the Nitro Review. Don't bang on the table. It's not good for the audio. Laughs every time. Not good for the list. Hey, it was only a little bit. Yeah. I'm sorry. And I'm going to. Don't even look at it. Don't refrigerate that. Just watch. You can watch. You can just watch them. Slowly go greya and greya. I'm getting them back. I'm like, oh, it looks greya here because he's lost the WCW World title. I don't know. I thought he looked particularly henshin, Oscar Mayoena like. He did a very, very hot doggy and very tan. That's important when you want to be a champion. He made wrestling what it is today. He says that the only Nick Patrick was allowed to be the referee at Starcade. And he and Bishop are livid that Bret Hart just established himself as the referee and WCW make sure that that victory stood. Look, they make a very good, very valid point. Nick Patrick counted one, two, three. Fairly. Hulk Hogan was screwed out of the title.
Therefore, Stinger's an illegitimate, out of shape and untan fucking loser. Therefore, you need to rectify this immediately, Mr. Dildo. Immediately. And look at the footage. He counts normal speed. Bret comes out and tries to lie and say it was a fast count. He's just worried about getting screwed again, isn't he? God. And they have still pictures from the show. And Hulk Hogan says, he picture is worth 20 million words. Are famous phrase. Yeah. Dildo has to fix it tonight. We'll see if he does. And we got to commentary where Bobby Heenan returns to the commentary table with a big smile on his face. And I think this whole bit is absolutely fantastic. Because Tony and Mike today, they look at Bobby as he arrives and Bobby's all smiles, arms out. And Tony is like, what are you doing here? You joined the NWO and Bobby was like, how dare you? I went down the mine.
I went down. I went undercover to save this company. I metaphorically bit the bullet and went into their den to get to the bottom of this. When Bobby turns to Tony and says, fuck off Tony, you absolute worst. You just walked off like a bitch. Yeah. You went to an A fucking coward. Yeah, I agree. I agreed with Bobby, all heartedly. And he says, oh, and this is all the thanks I get. And Tony is like, what you back on night, Trot then? And Bobby went, oh, thank you very much. Yeah. I rolled, roll tape. Tony goes, you know what, we're rolling to do it. Hey, roll tape, roll tape. It's good to be home. He was just, he was absolutely stunning. He was so good here. It's good to be home. And he says, I did what I had to do. I'm a hero. I take Bobby being this way over anything. Yes, just get rid of, get rid of Turner, get rid of Mick. And just give it to Bobby, make it a one man desk.
Are you going to bulletproof glass box? That's it. This is probably the best I've seen Bobby in WCW so far. Yeah, I think this is some gold early on, but it feels like he's getting a bit more passion back for it. He said, we celebrate the return of Bobby heating with the nitro girls all dancing around the commentation station. And yes, you are once more invited to send in your mucky tape. That's right, there will be no end to the mucky tapes as much as he sat there clapping his hands going. Yeah, they're getting rid of it. It's done Sam. It's done for the year. There's no more mucky tapes. I say you, Thomas, just fucking hold off the signs of the mucky tape of your pants. Oh, that's fine. I can do that. It's for the 40 and Jim come out. Mortist takes on the new WCW United States champion. So I'm in Dallas. I doubt nothing. You doubt the veracity of tapes James van de berk distracts the referee early in this match to give Mortist a help.
Mortist hits some innovative offense as Chris Canyan behind the mask is one to do. is one to do, an innovative electric chair drop with a sit down and a lovely diving facebuster of the Brett's rope as well. Commentators me while I gaslighting each other about who's actually in the NWO still. Yeah, I mean that's pretty much what they're going to do for the rest of the company's life. Looks like Mortis is going for a top rope death family driver but as he's making his way towards the ropes, Diamond Pact Dallas Page is able to wriggle three and hit the Diamond Cutter. Surprise surprise. One, two, three. To pick up the win. Yes. Mortis should have kicked out and then killed him. Dracon. Yeah, just full of murder. And his goal, I just put it on his gear. It adds more stuff. Yeah, this is what you should be doing. That's how you get over kid. That's cool. That's cool though. Wankrig with me and Jean and J. J. Dildo. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You've just bypassed the most important part of this entire podcast time. Get your burgers worth. Get your burgers worth. Burger Kings and new sponsor.
Oh, moving up in the world. Oh, that was quite nice to see shiny new sponsor by Burger King. So what's happened is that we've seen quite a few companies, despite the rise of the WWF, they're probably now getting so, so we'll add or orientated that you see a lot more of the companies that are bigger names, more family-friendly names, leaving. So this is where and they've talked about this and the death of WCW, they've talked about it in the night. They don't know. Burger King walked in one day and saw Randy Savage and went, eat this, you're fuck. And then he ate it and he went, wow. And then he went, yeah, he has 90 million a year. Talk about it. Well, I can't because I'd slim Jim. So we'll just put a logo on the screen then. Fuck. Get your burgers worth. So this is where this is where we're as was like, oh, it's to do with the fact that there was boobs on TV. And no, Burger King loves tits. It just really wanted the nitro viewers in the south stoppy in what a burger and fucking waffle house and get to Burger King where you
can get your burgers worth. Yeah, your burgers were funny slogan that wasn't get your burgers. Yeah, I like the, where's the beef is one of my other favourite ones with the old woman from the, is it Wendy's, which is where's the beef? Where does, where did Burger King have it your way? Wendy's had a good one, which is we don't cut corners for the old square burgers. Yeah. Nice use of the square burgers. Let's say your favourite, burger based slogan. What are we talking about burgers for? We're trying to talk about JJ Dildo. When you're talking about get your burgers worth. He's out here determined to derail this podcast and start a fight with me today. I could quite happily derail this podcast. Why not great with me and Jean and JJ Dildo. Dylan, thanks, Larry's a bit scot, the hero of the day. And he thanks every WCW fan as well. But here comes Bishop off. And once again, but crying, the use of Brett Hart as a referee. He basically stands
there and he says the device of division stands. So it's just like, well, yeah, we know it looks like an absolute clusterfuck, but fuck it. Where are we just going to see that counts? Yeah. Well, it's like it, it's that out comes bitch. It's like anything we're like, if you're, if you're on that team that's one, you're going to go, still counts as a win. You're going to take it out. Yeah, you're going to take it. But Bishop's out here going, you know, that wasn't fair. You need to make this right. So Dildo basically says, okay, tell you what tonight's thing is here. He's willing to defend the WCW World Heavyweight title against any member of the NW one on WC Nitro put up a shut up WC night show W off the WCW. The one thing I forgot to mention during the Brett Hart promo is that with Brett Hart arriving, it is the advent of the WCW. It's been the WCW before. Brett really has a hard time leaving the WWF, but Savage has said the WCW Lexus said the WCW. Pretty much anybody who's came over from WWF says the WCW. And it's just, it doesn't
work. The World Championship Wrestling. I'm here at the World Championship Wrestling. Was the World Championship of Wrestling that would work, but it's not cool that. It's just WCW. You don't have to, it's easier. You don't, you don't, what, save time. You add in an extra word that doesn't need to be there. I think of all the stuff you can do with the time you save by not calling it the WCW. You could go get into God. Is that your least favorite thing about Brett? There's all the women that he shagged out of marriage. We've already seen that. We've seen a lot of the coffee booth coming. Yeah. It's about all the women I've shagged during marriage. That could be a really thin book. If it's all the times I've cried in the shower, that's stuff. That's the you get more money out. It's not your autobiography. Okay. Oh, always did you find that woman in the end? Ah, a new chiseled deal with Penguin. Shouldn't, shouldn't sit it coming really. The WCW TV title is on the line. It's disco and Furnow taking on Booker T. Disco has a disco
ball effect as he walks on the ring. Now it's very good. He does. He morphs into a disco ball a bit. Yes. He's trapped in there. It's, it's a, it's just like a transparency map, but it's nice. It's a nice, it's something a little different. I think all they're giving him a nice push. And then I watch this match where Booker wipes out disco with a sidekick and it goes the floor, throws him into the barricade. He gets back into the ring, but a modified chartbuster over the rope gives disco a little opening. And then what happens is is that headlock from disco, disco wears him down and Booker starts to come back. And it's a really subdued comeback to the point where the commentators are just whippling on about NWO shite. Well, they just say, dildos furiously wanking away backstage, pulling for all the lads to make sting, ho, gun match happen. But as they're saying all this, as they're talking about that, you see, you see Booker here, a sidekick, a side slam, and a Harlem hangover. And then one, two, three, he wins, big pop from the crowd. The commentators go, oh, shit, he's won. We were a new TV champion. Oh, it's the new WCW
television champion. And he shouts out his son Brandon and says, happy birthday. This is for you. Daddy's coming home. Yeah, like the football. That's nice to see this. Yeah, this is once again another spirited singles push for Booker T that we will see. It'll lead to some incredible matches with Ben Warren, a series with those two that really captures the imagination, which is nice to see. Yeah, I'm glad that we're once again re-igniting a singles run for Booker T. Yeah, it's going to become like gummy bookers problem only the breakout star of WCW in terms of like longevity of his career after the fact. Yes. Booker goes on to be such a main player for WWE and then TNA as well during some of their darker years. But yeah, it's just nice to see Booker finally getting that sort of knot of agreement. Still on TV to this day. Yeah, she's always lovely. And then we go back to Wankram for JJ Dildo and he just comes out and goes, you know, I'll leave this about fuck all from anybody. Sorry, everybody, but no match.
That's great. I'll give him no time. And then big stuff comes running out and he says, no, you have you have because Hollywood Hulk Hogan is going to step in and face Sting tonight. But they want it right down the middle. You want it. You want to fare and that's on Dildo to make sure it's fair. So thanks for spending all that money on Starcade. Please buy the replay. But also at the same time, fuck you were doing the rematch 24 hours later. Well, yeah, it's what you get. We've got your money. Fuck off. This was always a weird choice. It felt like that they were so unhappy with the ending tonight to Starcade. Yeah. That they felt, yeah, you think they felt they needed to do a reo, a redo the following night for footage purposes, if nothing else. But then that ends up not happening anyway, but we'll talk about that when we get to it. What a weird fucking time. Mr. Wow, AKA Mr. Perfect is out here with Rick Rude without mustache. Jericho comes out and he
points to a fan in kiss makeup going to him. Jean Simmons. You should see him. If I was in a band called Foszy one day and somebody dressed like me, I'd sue them. Waiting on that, waiting on that phase of Jericho's career. I can't wait. It can't be too far away. Star performing in the pain maker makeup and then it'll be like, you can't wear that. And it'd be saying it's Alice Cooper. And it'd be like, that's my trademark. But I've been doing this since 1968. You can't do that's mine. I invented it. Like Jean Simmons invented that even though Ronnie James Deo was doing it years before. So he tried to trademark it and failed. Fuck you, Jean Simmons. It's just like I've had just in Bieber fans thought that Queen were trying to capitalize on Bieber's popularity by making a song called Somebody to Love. Yeah, but despite the fact that it came out like 40 years early. So shaved all their heads when there was the 4 Chan room around that he was like having cancer or something. They were on board for Bieber. Hashtag ball for Bieber. Just shave your head.
Don't verify it. Don't go the news. You know, he's only the biggest star in the world. It's not like it would be right there. They'll believe anything. They believe anything. Jericho was good against Mr. Wow. He gets however, he was, he was in fight until Mr. Wow got the knees up on a lion's salt and then immediately hit a wowplex and got the win. This is the knees up that saves Jericho's career. I thought it was because that, so he hits a lion's seat goes to a lion's salt, but he does not get a full rotation. No, he comes in really shallow like his head. If if Henrik wasn't there, it like I'm not encouraging you to watch it. It's very hard to watch, but anybody you've seen the higher booster incident knows what I'm talking about. It's sort of, he's coming in an angle like that. And Henrik gets the knees up and basically that extra foot of just having his knees there means Jericho's head just flops back into nice, clean, safe air rather than folded under itself.
Because that fucking out, but yeah, he beats him very quickly after that with the Henrikplex. The wowplex. And then Henrik peels out of there with Tasheless Rick Rud. Leaving Jericho to grab a steel beer ring. Leaving Jericho ringside to grab a steel chair and just smack it into the turmbocle screaming, I'm sick of this. I'm sick of this. I'm sick of this. I'm sick of this. It'll be something that is used in WWF documentaries about WCW where to talk about the Monday Night War. I remember they used this when they talked about Jericho leaving WCW to join the WWF and they played this like it was like the last thing he did before joining WWF. With some like, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam. Jericho was unhappy on Nitro. So he came to rule. Like, oh, there's another year and a half to go. A year and a half, yeah, he learns. He's going to do some of the best work of his career in that year and a half. I can't fucking wait till we get the Ralphers. There are. Oh my god. It's going to be a time.
It's going to be a time. Nitro girls give us a little jiky dance and then outcome, Scott Hall. You meet Stick as well, but yeah, Scott Hatt. Yeah, Scott Hatt this week, not Scott Hall. He's got Hatt. Well, because Brett Hatt said that Scott Hall was scum. So this is Scott Hatt. Ah, he's got to go do the oil check, hasn't he? There's more people thinking he's Scott Hall. No, he's Scott Hall supposed to be scum. So he's Scott Hatt. He's wearing an ill-fated NW accent, doesn't he? How does that sound like, Tom? I was going to ask you how does that have? How does that have access? Well, you watched the show. I did, but I didn't notice any difference between Scott Hall and Scott Hatt said, you know, is it? Well, they both Scottish. Well, oh my god, you didn't notice him standing there going, hello? Well, that's how he normally said, hello, I'm Scott Hall. Let's do a check. Oh, is he here for a lovely cup of tea? That's what I said. I'm just saying, I'm reporting what he said, repeating what he said. I want to stick my finger up your bum. I want to check your dipstick.
Oh, is he ever let me see if you're in the W or not? Yeah, that one's golden purple. There we go. Oh, maybe go to a doctor. Your NW or Hollywood, your either NW or Wolfpack or you do need to go to the doctor immediately. What's NW or fucking Hollywood or NW 2000? Like, what have you been eating to get chrome colored shit? Even eating crayollas again, kid? Yes, we are suggesting that to find out who is actually fans of NWO different brands. He's the one who comes out and does it. A finger up the arse and look at the color on the finger when it's removed from the anus. Why do you think all new NWO members look so angry and walk like John Wayne? They're just like, can't believe I had to do that to prove that I'm NWO. Oh my god, I'm NWO for life now. Oh, we can queue like it's the fucking story. That's why they say your full life as well. It's like it's the whole gum was the first one to go, I'm not doing that again. We're not doing this every fucking week. I'm NWO for like, prove that now. I've proved it.
Tony, I've been a weekly pro-set exam. I'm good. I'm full life. I've done my time. You're not doing it again. I'm going for my pro-set exams too and I'm excited for them to go, oh I didn't know you're in the NWO. You're just a loose one. He sat there looking at all the blood going like, I'm off back in the night. We need to get into the EON now. Now, my name is Godotter. I don't remember joining the wolf back. Anyway, doing the survey, wearing a final load of crayolars. I just want to be part of NWO 2000. Just for the two, I don't have two pounds of him. He's just hiding a little treat up there for him before you go. Just say nothing. What's this? Little kind of toy. Is he said, is this a 1998 Jack's Pacific British Bulldog? What? I know you're thinking, you're thinking, there's
no way you can get a 1996 Jack's Pacific British Bulldog up your ass. To that, I say, not with that attitude. You won't. Yeah, you're not trying hard enough. Full pose as well. To have a full pose, man, like this. Muscle pose. It's going in. One way or the other, it's going in first. No, no, I've seen you go ahead first before. I thought legs because it's wider. No, no, it's wider at the top. It's not the old saying. Bill Ripkin from the Detroit Tigers, is he? That's Detroit Tigers. Detroit Lions. Detroit Lions are the NFL team. Maybe. Bill Ripkin's there. From the Detroit Big Billy Rips, letting one rip. Detroit. He's all catchphrase. He's down there. Let one rip. Everybody around. He starts vomiting everywhere. And then I think I just shit. He's running down his arm. Good news guys.
I'm off pack. And then he passes out. Oh, no. Send me to a hospital. I'd become talking about putting your figure out your ass. Well, I tell everybody you're a monstrous person. And then we start talking about fistening people to find out if the what end of you are there in. We also talk about the night show from the night after start. We are in immediately in between. Get in the ways of talking. Do you reckon you can get like an actionman jet scale there? Again, not without a chance. You won't. I think you should. The 2000 action man, either the space man edition complete with watch or the kite version with the 100 foot of kite string. So he pulls the kite out and he's just like, what the fuck is going on here? And then afterwards you're like, do you have a fly? I'm a kite. Should the flying kite show
way? Should you do that? Is that normal doctor? Feel like it's fine. What do you mean you've never seen someone with an action man kite edition stuffed up there? I feel okay. He's hard-molded. He doesn't bend. Dad's just always like this. It's the perfect shape. It just goes in. The handles difficult. The handles are all right. But you know, it'll be great. It'll be the second time that I've laughed receiving bad news from the doctor because there was many, many years ago. Many years ago. Good doctor. No, no, it's fine. It's all right. It's all right now. Many years ago, I went to the doctor's for like a full MOT and they did my blood pressure. I always get your blood pressure done. And they said my blood pressure and it was tied to hypertension, which is high. That doesn't surprise me. Can you take me high? From a shoot perspective, like real quick. Yeah. You do so much that I don't understand how you haven't had like five coronaries already.
Not in a horrible way. No, no, no, no. That's nice way. Yeah. I worry a lot about your heart. It's okay now, but at the time it wasn't. It was the time because I was at my largest I'd been and I was doing a lot of stuff. And then they then they went, okay, this is bad. And then they took it again and they went, all right, we should probably send you to A&E. And I went, I've got working about two hours. No, they don't. No, they don't. They brought it in the doctor. The other doctor came in and I'd chat me for ages and he was like, hey, how you feel? Honestly, I feel fine. I feel okay. I feel all right myself. They said, if you've had any dizziness, any headaches. I started up and just got a little... I said, none of these, and they said, okay, right? Honestly, the Tommy Tumbles. I do them every day. I don't know. It's not normal, Tom. Sit down. On this occasion, I said, on this occasion, like we're happy to... What we're going to do is we're going to prescribe you some medication and we're going to let you go. We need you to monitor yourself the next 24 hours and then come back. And I said, when do I need to start taking these tablets to the doctor went yesterday? And I did have a little chuckle. When you take them yesterday,
okay, that's fine. And I thought that when I got on the meds and it's fine now and it's normal now, it's remained at a healthy level for about six years now, because I'm delighted with. Yeah, that was a nice, funny time. That was a good time. Back when I had explosive highs. Before I worked at Coltaholick, before the other stuff came along, I was... Keep a bloody eye on it. Oh, I don't. Yeah, we've got a machine at home. It's a test it on every Coltaholick. Of course you do. It's probably inside of one of your Ferraris. Yes, that's... Keep it inside a Fabrije egg. A Ferrari, which is inside of a garage made of Fabrije eggs. I don't even drive, but I've got a Ferrari. You know, Fabrije egg, Gary. Of course it is doing Ferrari because he just does stuff in it. I do. I do. I do. I play... We don't know. I play Dr. Kauwis, he was brain training game. That's what he calls it. Of a DS. That's what he calls it, but that coffee table, books coming. You'll find out all about the doing Ferrari.
Shouldn't Fabrije go. Talk about calling the book. You're doing Ferrari in the Fabrije garage. It comes out. You're going to plan a trip from like the top to the bottom of the country and West to East at the same time, hitting every single waterstones to really push how much you can surprise that prostate examiner. It's twice as thick as Brett's book. Getting as much as I can. Like a lot of copies. He got 4,000. Be nice. I can trace your run for the prostate examiner. We pulled 11,000 copies of this autobiography. Was he in a battle? They're getting pumped. They didn't sell well. Oh no, I did fly off the shelves. Tom's mucky. Into my bottom. If I was on the road and I was going to eat somewhere, I would stop in Champagne, Illinois. Because that is where this week's Nitro Party is taking place. It is not a measel. To rhyme with Weasel and Katie Burke of Champagne, Illinois.
It is a Burke. They're all felt bit perked like. We get VHS footage of the Nitro Party. They're all in fancy dress. We've got a diamond Dallas page. We've got a Kimberley. We've got a guy who is wearing a bit of tartan and someone goes, Hey, look, it's Rowdy Roddy Piper. He doesn't look like Rowdy Roddy Piper. They have a nice selection of beige food to enjoy whilst you're watching Nitro that includes matcho nachos, Harlem, heat, salsa and Alex Wright cheese balls because he's a cheese ball. I will throw this to Sam in a second, but I will say, Tony Shivani this week. I fear that there is some sort of time dilation because little things keep getting said that make me think that they're listening to us somehow through time. Because Tony Shivani said, after watching the Nitro tape and I quote based on what we've done recently, the Nitro Party keeps dangerous people off the streets. It does, but on the afternoon of the 29th of December,
97 Tony found himself sitting in his car outside a turn of towers. He's fixated on the box in the rear view mirror. I can't do that. He says, googling Weaseling, weezing, but unmistakably Tony's voice replies, yes, you can, Tony. No, I can't. They're brought to an end. I can't do this anymore. You don't have a choice, Tony. You're going to go in there and speak to marketing. I can't just barge in and demand to talk to marketing while I have a fraction of a fraction of what the network puts out. They're not going to listen to it. They're still in here, Tony. Do you want to see what I'll do to them? If the tape stop flowing, bubbling noises accompany each word of the threat. Finding himself inside of a long hallway, Tony gets into the elevator, the box under his arm. He reaches floor four, strides up to the door at the end of the hallway and knocks. A voice answers saying, come in. The head of marketing for Turner, Alan Grundle is sat at his
large wooden desk. Oh, Tony Shivoni, right? Last person I expected to see a day. How's the wrestling going? It's good, Al, but really, I want to talk to you about something. Tony feels the box writhing around in his grip. Make a quick tone. I've got to lunch me in a one. What's that you got with you there? That box of tapes. Tony puts the tapes down on the desk. Well, actually, that's what I want to talk to you about. You know, we've been running this promo, where fans send in home movies of their WCW parties and we send them some crap in the mail. Yeah, we had high hopes for that, but it didn't go quite as well as we'd hope. Mainly just a bunch of drunk and frat boys. Didn't the team fake one with someone from your office? We did, but I feel it's too premature to end it now. We have to keep pushing. People are finally starting to get it, says Tony. I don't know, Tony. It's the nighties. We should be doing more stuff on the worldwide web. Maybe the budget's better spent there. And then etherealy. Show him. Tony's taken
a back pauses on the spot and blanks out. Alan asks if Tony's okay. He snaps back into the room. Sorry, just long drives, you know. Show him. Tony turns his eyes to the box on the desk and says, no, I won't tone what the hell is this? Look, it didn't work out. We're going in another direction. I'll hurt them turning. All right, all right. Alan's taken a back by all of this irrational behavior. Tony grabs a tape from the top of the pile and says, just watch. All right, no need to get upset, man. Tony turns to place the tape into the player. Alan grabs her remote and flicks on the screen. The tape springs to life from a sea of static. A slew of people in homemade costumes are man on cocaine being Rick Flair. Matt Cho, Matt Cho's, Harlem, he'd salsa Alex, write the big cheeseball and others. Tony watches Alan study the tape. He looks thoroughly unimpressed. Make him agree. What is the box?
Tony, I just think we're headed into a new millennium. The days of home tape mailings are done, man. Suddenly the light emigrants to flicker. Tony is locked in place out of fear. I disagree. I think that what Americans need in this time is some good old fashioned fun. Alan turns his eyes to the box and he begins to scream as the hands crawl out of it. He can't leave his chair, just turn on the spot. Tony's forced to watch, unable to even close his eyes. Tears begin to enter his eyes. The Tony in the box emerges in full glory, displaying his true horror. He reaches into Alan's chest and begins pulling internal organs out. Everything is getting smothered and mustard. Sin use gristle, bone. Tony sees it all. He watches as the other Tony begins knowing and gnashing his teeth. Chewing through the flesh, Alan screams stopped some time ago. Tony, who has still been trying to finish what he was saying before this all started,
is saying families together gathered around the TV, watching some good versus bad, wholesome entertainment, good clean American old fashioned fun. He finishes with tears streaming down his face. The other Tony reaches into the chest cavity of Alan, presses the button to buzz the floor secretary with Alan's body and in Alan's voice says that he's ordering the WCW tape mail in to continue through all of 98. No exceptions and that he's going for lunch so hold his calls. A growing piss stain on Tony's pants only gets worse as the other Tony turns to him. Hands still in cavity, still speaking with Alan's voice and through Alan's mouth. Now do you see what I can do, Tony? Bring me the tips. Tony drops to his knees, finally free of control as the other Tony drags Alan's corpse and all evidence back into the box in one fluid motion. Ben silence. He looks down at the piss stain, mumbles to himself and sighs. Loud noises from the window, arguing. There's a
commotion outside and old gentleman's arguing with Turner security. He's got a stack of papers in his hands as the bouncers rebuff him and toss him to the curb, the flyers land everywhere. It isn't until Tony leaves, box under arm that he sees them up close. Missing, have you seen my daughter accompanied by a picture of Anna? Stricken with moments. Hi, I'm Max Rush in the host of The Guardian Football Weekly alongside me Barry Glenn Denning my co-host, hey Barry. Hello. Now, although every American found us during the World Cup for the two that didn't, what can they expect? Found us and fell in love with us, Max. They can expect three episodes each week of occasionally insightful analysis, covering the Premier League, Champions League and beyond. Football Weekly is back, watch on YouTube or listen wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Jake Stauk, co-founder and CEO of Survelled. We built Survelled to automate the IT work that slows companies down. Onboarding, password resets, access to applications,
my laptop stopped working, while employees wait for help their real work is put on hold. IT desperately wants to automate this work and that's why they need Survelled. You just tell Survelled what you want to automate in plain English and it's built. No drag and drop workflows, no expensive consultants. Employees get unblocked and IT teams go from drowning into tickets to building what actually matters. With Survelled IT becomes the AI engine powering the entire company. This is a new way to run IT. We guarantee you'll automate 50% of all tickets and will prove it to you in a free four week pilot. Go to Survelled.com slash tickets. That's S-E-R-V-A-L dot com slash tickets. Terry Dread, he barrels into his car and peels off past the old man. How the fuck has he ended up in the middle of this? And then we've got a book back while it's got more and versus Flexi Lexi.
God, I got more questions. I don't have all the answers. No, for it. Go for it. There's all the answers. Is that given the tips? I heard them. Is that another tony? We know there's been two tonies. Is that the other tony? Well, it's the only other tony we've seen. I'm not sure what we've seen. It's the only other tony that we've seen so far in the story. But like the other tony, the mustard tony box tony, whatever you want to call him, something sinister is happening. He was able to control Alan's voice. He just controlled his body and then he peeled all of the bits of him just back into the box with him. And all of his left was a piss-dain on Tony's pants. So he's running the company now? Yeah, I was just head of marketing and he's gone out for dinner. Said hold his calls. So, he'd be fine.
It's above background, let's lower. Jeez, this is the fucking coffee table book. It's not my sexual peccadillo. The mustard box, by a sound driver. That sounds far too jovial for what this actually fucking is. We need to give it a cover that makes it look like an American classic. Like it's just a wheat field with some guy in a cowboy hat, like a silhouette just kind of looking sad. Like the mustard box and then they read it and it's like, what the fuck is this? I was going to suggest getting my five-year-old nephew to draw the cover. Like the mustard box. The man's a sinew's in crystal ripped a box. I was quite pushed for time today, so I didn't get quite as much detail into that chapter as I wanted. But for the final release, we're doing a compilation of all of them. We're going to pull them all together so you can listen. If you ever get really horrible Christmas, we can make him much worse. I'll start doing an old hebner. I'll just buy a car and I'll start selling copies of the mustard box outside of the back of the car outside the venue.
But if you fucking round me and I've got to go work for TNA, then there's going to be questions. There's going to be ruckians. Buff bag will address his legs looge here in our penultimate mat to the evening. Can we talk about this? Of course we can. It's what we're doing. Sometimes we talk about wrestling. The buff rhyme. You can't beat buff on TV. You can't beat buff 123. And you can't beat buff in DC. So if you want more, let's do it in Baltimore. So I didn't get the, and you didn't beat buff in DC and the so. So for me, it was like, you can't beat buff on TV. You can't beat buff 123. You didn't beat buff in DC. If you want some more, let's do it in Baltimore. If you just added the word city to the end, it would have completed the rhyme. Yeah. Because you're going to go on city. Fucking no one to your mom shaved your ass off. Yeah. How do you get out of bed all morning buff?
He kind of had a half considered idea. I mean, that feels like most of WCW, but yeah, yeah, half considered. I think I've gone it down. Oh, I'll go out there and do it. I think that works fine. Half-hearted, half-it. But wait, the two main events have told me a conflicting thing. No, I'll just go with it. That is the doors to WEF. Just go with it. Talk to somebody. Talk to people. Yeah, so buff, so basically Lex Luger can't beat buff by a while. This has been the build, right? This was the build for weeks leading up to Starcade. And then we get to Starcade. And I'm trying to remember who buffed what again, didn't he? Buffed what again? It's been a few sets out. Yeah, it was like a, it was like a, I can't even fucking remember. It was some form of we a DQ bullshit. I think did Luger accidentally got himself DQ'd, I think, this time? And he survived. Yeah. Either way, he's, so that's the story is a Luger can't beat buff. So the night after, after Starcade, we're having the match again.
Luger arrives, Bagwell immediately leaves. Luger chases buff, Scott Norton, that ringside full bag. Well, Grab Simnick is Bagwell an advantage. The entire time Bagwell is just like talking to the ref to keep him distracted. So Norton is just doing all the heavy lifting here. All Baggas with a bit of Norton until Lex Luger dodges a blockbuster and then Lex runs wild. Clothes lines, clothes lines. Wipes out Norton's. House Lams. And then the inevitable puts Bagwell up for the rack and Bagwell taps out to the rack. And almost immediately Luger wins. Why not do this on the pay-per-view? Well, because they felt like... They paid for it. Because they felt like we were... They paid for it. Give me on free TV the night after. We're doing it with the main event. Twice, back to back. Free TV. Just feel like everybody... All the suckers gave us $44,000. Are you kidding? Built to a show for a year. I feel like any chance they get, they're just kicking it up. Look, we have a definitive matchup next to prove that Sting is definitely the world champion and you're going to see him hoisting the belt at the end of the show. This is what the people want. F**k you. F**k you.
Else I was going to say anyway, that's kind of the end of the Luger Bagwell thing I guess. Ended on the show after Starcade. Yeah, that's perfectly said. You know, they always say the show after Starcade is where the real magic happens. Yeah. Why make anyone pay to watch it when you can do it? On and out the following day. Then we go. Buffer only pizza comes out. Did you notice at this point, as Buffer only pizza was slicing? Less than 10 minutes left on the clock. Yes. Oh, and all this is going to be a problem. So big buffer only pizzas in Michael Buffer stands there and essentially says in nice ways, look, he suckers paid for it. If you just waited, you'd see it again. We can't book our way out of a wet paper bag. He is hogan. And then out comes hogan. And then Sting comes out with zero theatrics, but a bit of pyro. He's rushing to the ring. Yes, sprints to the ring so fast that Michael Buffer is still doing Sting's and he's a man of mystery. And he's got to get the fuck out of the way as fast as he can and comms are having a bit of a laugh about it. I like how. Because I...
So, he's sounded all stressed, was very funny. Yeah. But I've also heard him before, announcing a rest that, and when there's the running, it was a whole co-ga match. Even though the match has begun, Buffer's like, no, I'm announcing. I'm doing the announcement. Meta Buffer's getting beaten up, but Buffer's still going, hoogh! Hoogh! He's on the long end, Sting. In fairness, if he completes that announcement, he can say to them, I have fulfilled all of my obligations. You wanted me to announce the main event, so there's no way that if he gets caught off thing, go, oh, well, you didn't really do all of it, though, did he? So, you're going to get half the pay. He's like, fuck you. I'm just going to say it anyway. So, that's him. Because his night's works, what, like, four sentences? Fuck him. Maybe six of them. Fuck him, Dread. All right, in it. It's an easy job, easy job, bringing out and they just get paid silly money for you. Well, we've already established the useless and everything level except him. Exactly. Pointless. Wasted's time. Absolute crap.
It is very handy, though, when you count down, breaks it when you read it. What's a countdown clock? Another waste of time. Just start the match with them all in the fucking ring. Oh, about a royal. Yeah, done. There you go. Get it all done. Get about, they get it on. No ring announcer. No need to have a ring announcer. No need for any files. You know, just fucking get the match over and done with. We're from the school of, come on. Let's just get it done. Yeah, let's get it done. Let's get done. Show's done in half an hour. Let's go on. We're going to call it the anti-ring announcer league. We're going to make Tom the sticker, like the little bin badge. That's like a line to me. No, just your face. You're basically with a little quote that says, ringing outs are all cunts. But me. Except me, I'm great. I'm the best one. I'm the best one. I'm the best one. We got loads of other badges with just every ring announcer and some with lines through them. And it's just your gimmick now. I'm giving my gimmick as I hate all ringer announcers. I'm coming to take your jobs. Before you announce any match, look guys, I know.
But they paid for me a beer. So. Give them me two minutes to do these fucking announcements. Get them out. Get them out. Can you believe that a fifth ring announcer has had an accident on the way to the venue? I know the piano with the initials T.C. has fallen on a ring announcer. Who keeps leaving roller skate to the top of the steps of rigging out? So houses. I just got, anyway, I've had me to announce I'm now working for 27 promotions. And you know, it's a game tough and I own many shares in whatever company makes roller skates. No, yes. Well, old. The cap ride. Yeah, the Cad, that Campbell roller skate that was left at the top of the test. Could have been anybody's. There's thing gets into the ring in a bit of a rush. He is jumping to my Hogan using the belt as a weapon. No, no, no, no, no. Against the fucking clock. Hold on. Not quite. There's an important thing that we've just glazed over is that Sting gets in the ring, Hogan starts stomping and the bell rings. Yes, the bell goes ding, ding, ding. And then Hogan grabs the bell and immediately uses the bell as a weapon.
So technically it should end in a DQ. And then commentary goes, the bell has it wrong. Five seconds after the bell's wrong. I don't think. Which I just wrote, fuck off. They've been awaited. Because the whole thing is when you see rest of it do that. Tony deserves the irrational, horrible, interdimensional horror that he has to put up with for saying stuff like that. I heard that bell ring. You're a liar. You're a liar. You're telling me my ears don't work. Apparently so. Sting fights back to a huge part, but Hogan wants to get continues to overwhelm him. But this match is already better than the one they have the night before. Yeah. It's faster. It's harder hitting. It's aggressive. Hogan's like gouging the eyes and doing all these underhander things as viciously as he can, as quick as he can. But yeah, he hits a big boot. Sting kicks out. Sting collapses into Hogan's cock head first, which was hilarious. And then the Hogan is like back on the offensive, back on the offensive.
Then he goes for the leg drop. Leg drop misses. Yeah, Sting rolls out the way. And then Sting hits the Stinger splash. Sting hits another Stinger splash. In the wild that actually credit comes up. Fucking ends the show. Fade to black in the middle of the match. Nitro finishes in the middle of the match. Made splash. Made Stinger splash. What the fuck are you doing? Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. If the whole point of this is to be Mr. definitive fucking, okay, we've got to write Hogan's politic and politic and again, like fucking right. What? Yeah. Like we're gonna, yeah, we'll see the replay. You've got to tune in next week for the replay of what happened, right? That's what they want to put the replay on thunder. But then by that point it's a week and a half old. So I think they might do it beforehand. Oh my god. So we don't know. We'll have to find out and show us pictures. Aren't they next week on Night Row? And then you'll have to wait for fucking thunder
for the video version. Just they gave all that Hogan and Vischoff took. Bloody ages. God hole had to be played off. During his coming out to poke everybody in the bum. He had to be played off by his own theme. It feels like NWO's been stolen for time all night to protect daddy Terry. That's the conspiracy theorist in me coming out there as well. Going that seems a bit saucy as the kid takes. If you just see back up, you'd scrap that scuffle segment, which you didn't need. If you'd scrap that scuffle segment with the dipsticks, you could have actually got this match just about in. Yeah. If you've been, yeah, you have to be a pace to the finish. But we don't know what a weird way to come out of Sarkade. We're gonna give you a bunch of title changes. We're gonna give you a match from last night and we're gonna give you another match from last night without a definitive ending. Because we missed time to the show. It was like a... I don't know. It was a decent show on places. But will they're in finish?
The will they're in is the worst. They do this a couple of times and it is exciting because it's like at the time, it's like you got to tune in, you got to tune in. And then there'll be people who were there spilling out the message boards, like primit of message boards back in the day going like, oh, well, staying one or it was a schmars it ended up with NWO running out and then loads of WCWB people and then Stink stood tall in the end. But... fucking hell. Seeing an action something else, especially after the whole episode has been loads of time wasting segments going like, well, we're gonna get this match tonight. Yeah. We are gonna do this match in Baltimore. And then they do, but then they also don't... If you're watching... If you're in Baltimore, you saw the whole match. I don't think you did. I think the second stinger splash hit and then you're like, that's it folks, see you next week. And then Hogan and Stink stood there and fluttery. You seeing this boat, I just bought a bit like... It's not gonna have gone... Get a town, you freak. Bit of that match during the first match during the pandemic, the performance centre. Yeah. And they want to stop breaking, they just stop working. Just stop wrestling.
It was just like that. That was how it ended, they just walked to the back. Walk to the back. Well, back next week on the Colotonic Classic Nitro Review, you can in the meanwhile, check out our brand new episode tomorrow of NX TWEDDLE. That's right. We're watching Airwolf Ross is watching NXT week to week and giving you a full fat hour long break down of each one because we know how much you loved the NXT recaps on the main full fat Colotonic Wrestling podcast. So when that changed, we went, let's just give you a whole show devoted to just that. Exactly. And you're gonna see Ross doing back flips on it. Yes. So don't miss it. Okay. And the pay it real much the video version. Cut the back flips in there. Cut the back flips. The cheeky back flips. You do exactly that. Anything actually want to pull? We'll have a list coming to the channel this weekend, whichever weekend this goes out. This is going to, I know we need to get more lists on the channel, more videos generally on the channel. We are working on it. It's just manpower. But we are going to slowly get into more of a regular rhythm.
There'll be the afternoon videos if there's anything that's like a big talking point. Sit down. They haven't gone anywhere. It's just that when there's a topic that we're all discussing in the office, we tend to do it then. But yeah, in the meantime, keep it with us. And we'll be head barreling toward money in the bank, probably by the time you listen to this. Oh yeah, that's not fine. That's only been used for weeks away. Oh, it's, I think it's only like six weeks away at the minute for us. Oh, probably a month out by the time you're... You're an unbeknownst. Sure you would. And for the very latest wrestling news at any time, you can check out cultaholic.com. He said, sound driver, I'm out on camera. I was going to get the record. I was like, I was going to get the jol- LADGE KILL TV See you next time. I reckon you can get a whole mega drive up there for the doctor like... Mega drive one or two. Which one I'd better corners. Two. What was it, smoother? Smoother. Are you on the shot? One. Do you want the Mega CD attachment as well? I want the Tower of Power. You want the 32x of the tower. The Tower of Power.
