Working from home on the rise across Australia

Australia's biggest employment website Seek says job hunters are flocking to remote roles with many here to stay. Working from home, at least part of the week, is now totally normal for so many Australians. 5050. How do you find that? It's pretty good. One in 10 job ads on Seek mentions work from home. The most common roles are occupational therapists, accountants, property managers, speech pathologists and admin officers. Post-Covid we saw a massive peak in work for her offerings, and it has since come down, but over the last couple of months we have seen that turn up. We've got big trust issues in the workplace at the moment. Increasingly, employers are installing surveillance software on workers laptops. They can tell whether they're online or offline. That monitoring software sometimes shows people slacking off at home, but it also reveals some workers are more efficient away from the office. For others, it's simply not an option.
