• Updates on my 9 week mouth mystery, after reading all my symptoms on WebMd, Google, and countless others I noticed that there are additional questions, screenings, and steps that can be taken to narrow it down. To say I am frustrated or disappointed is an understatement. I reached out to my so called "team" asked My Primary doctor about tests for Burning Mouth Syndrome? She tells me I don't think there's a test for that. Wrong Answer, there is-Biopsy, Blood, examining me more than initial visit, asking me additional questions, diet, medicines, stress, family history etc. instead she refers me back to ENT & Rheumatologist when he told me, I am not the doctor that can help you, you need to refer back to your team. WTH?! 
• Dear Doctors I feel like I am on a Merry Go Round and I'd like to get off now as I am dizzy and sick LITERALLY! What am I paying insurance for? 
• In other news, learn how to listen to your body so you know when something is wrong so you can communicate your symptoms in detail to your doctors, and don't be afraid to ask questions and advocate for yourself! 
• IF you haven't experienced Chronic Pain you'll have an idea by listening to my story. Listeners, I have perspective, I know there's always someone out there worse; however, I've never experienced such a conundrum for such a period of time. 
• Everyone if you haven't done so yet, I encourage you to learn how to balance your work, personal struggles, make sure you take time and make time to meditate, exercise, read, enjoy some of your favorite interests or hobbies, hug your pet, it's important to have balance in your life.
