stir in/inside somebody （某种情感）开始出现
stir有搅拌的意思，比如说stir your coffee with a spoon，用勺子搅拌咖啡。在这里stir的意思是激起，引起，一般后面加上介词up，stir up sth. 或者stir sth. up。If you stir up a particular mood or situation, usually a bad one, you cause it. 而stir in或者stir inside somebody表示某人感受到了某种情感。If a feeling stirs in you, you begin to feel it.
Toxic friends tend to stir things up and cause problems on a regular basis.
