About this episode
The thing about grief is that one grief can open the floodgates to all the other grief you carry, as though a grief dam has broken in your heart, and now you’re flooded with feeling. Loss is never easy, whether it’s the loss of a relationship, a job, a way of being, or a person or pet you don’t know how to live without. It can leave you feeling untethered. It’s messy and it can be scary, shocking and overwhelming, but the more we talk about it, the easier it is to face when we lose those we love. Which doesn’t mean it’s easy at all. But it is something we’re all going to face at one point or another, and it helps to know we’re not alone.
