Hey, it's Robin Manachem-Siders and thanks for joining me on today's edition of What's A Jew To Do? Where we explore relevant and concise halacha. There is a discussion in the post-games whether or not you're allowed to recite Mode Annie while not wearing a Yamaka. When you wake up in the morning, you should probably put a Yamaka first thing in the morning before you start going anywhere. But here specifically, Mode Annie is the very first thing you do before anything else. So do you have to go get your Yamaka from your nightstand or wherever it is before you say Mode Annie or you can use Mode Annie as soon as you sit up in bed, even while not wearing a Yamaka. So there is a discussion and ideally you should wear a Yamaka and if you can't find your Yamaka, then post-games say you can cover your head with a blanket or something like that before saying Mode Annie. But it's not essential, it seems, and there are post-games who would say that you would be allowed to recite Mode Annie even without a Yamaka if you're not able to get one. That's all for today. I hope you enjoyed. If you have any questions or prefer the discussion, please give me a call. I'd love to hear from you. 033-386-704. Have a great day.
