This fresh twist for the 350 villagers battling to halt the arrival of 1,250 asylum seekers, has poured new petrol on an already tense uprising in the most unlikely of places. As did the hundreds of local residents spontaneously blocking new boat migrants leaving Portsmouth into the early hours of Monday morning.
