You know, I said this to you when we connected pre-show that the last couple of weeks we've had just the massive college basketball gross tonnage of games to be able to pick through and it almost feels a little weird that there's only two games today as good as they may be. Yeah. And great to be with you as always, Andy. The tournament certainly goes by fast because two weeks ago we're sitting here talking

2:03about the selection. It's almost like Christmas Eve, you just get to wait to open up your presence and see all the bracket and the games and everything. And then that Thursday, all the anticipation and before you know it, you're down to a handful of games. It does go by quickly and we're sitting here with two games today, two games Saturday and then a fifth game a week from tomorrow to decide the whole thing. And I was thinking about this too. Every Sunday since August, you have either college basketball, you know, college football on the weekend. So these weekends with college hoops or college football date all the way back to last summer and this is the last one for a while because you look at next week, yeah, I mean you start to get NBA playoffs, you get masters, you have baseball, it's not a bad time of the year. The college hoops college football way of way of life here on the weekends is going away here quickly, at least until the summer. And look, and I like college baseball, but to your point will, excuse me, it doesn't fill, it doesn't fill the need, the college, you know, for me, college baseball doesn't get

3:04anywhere near college basketball and even college basketball doesn't get anywhere near college football. It's a really good point is that it's almost like from that end, you're about to take your off season. And I know that betting on the NFL draft is something that some guys like some guys don't, well, you can and can't do it in certain places. Like I live in a part of the world where you can't, you can't vote on like MVP awards. You can't vote on or vote, please, you can't bet on who is going to be the number two pick in the NFL draft. So for some jurisdictions and states, some of those markets are automatically closed. I would love to sink my teeth into that, but really it's now turning the page to baseball, but will today we have to what I think are going to be really good games. The first one, the early game in Chicago at two 15 Eastern time Michigan, the number one seed in that region minus seven and a half against a Tennessee team who will I

4:09think in our kind of pre tournament discussions. There were a couple of teams that we sort of lumped into a category of, well, if they do everything right, they can get to this point Tennessee to me was one of those teams. Yeah, and I like them plus the points today. I don't love them plus the points, but I think with their size, their athleticism, their ability to rebound, they can at least not get destroyed on the glass. Like Michigan is usually going to own the glass and get a bunch of second chance opportunities and just completely dominate with their size Tennessee got 16 offensive rebounds the other day against Iowa State, granted Iowa State was a little short handy, but Tennessee can hang physically, athletically, and at least not get blown off the court in terms of second chance opportunities. My concern with Tennessee, can they spread Michigan out and make enough shots? Can their bigs show enough skill to just keep up with the scoring because Tennessee while they have the goods physically from a size and athleticism standpoint, not the greatest

5:12scoring team or Michigan's a nice balance of yeah, they've got size, but they've also got skill, but I'll take the points. I think their second chance opportunities and just getting the volume of shots, just getting more shots in your opponent when you're catching points to me is the key here. So I think Michigan wins. I'd be very surprised if Tennessee pulled the outright upset, this I think three straight elite aides for Rick Barnes who pretty maligned as a coach. He's had some bad losses in the tournament still waiting a punch through with Tennessee. He's never made a final four in the men's side, which is hard to believe, but I will take the points here with Tennessee, even though I think Michigan, I'd be pretty surprised. I felt the same way about Arizona and pretty pretty yesterday where I ultimately went with Arizona on the spread, but I was back and forth in terms of taking it, laying it, but would have been surprised if Arizona had lost and they were down at the half, but they ended up winning and winning comfortably. I feel the same way about Michigan. I'll take Tennessee to cover, but I'd be pretty surprised if Michigan actually lost the game. Even though Barnes, as you mentioned, he nor anyone has gotten Tennessee to the final four ever, all the pressure is on Michigan, it feels like like if Tennessee goes out

6:16and they lose by 15, it's, well, Michigan was one of the picks to click on into the tournament. So I feel like this is, this is so different than Duke, Yukon, where all the pressure is on Michigan. If Tennessee goes out and loses by 15, no big deal. And you bring up something that's interesting, which, which plays into the totals because I generally look towards the unders in these elite eight games and you talk, you listen to former players and former coaches, yeah, you get to the final four. Of course, you want to win. You want to get to the championship and you want to win the championship game, but the pressure game, the real pressure game, it's a little counterintuitive is the elite eight, the chance to get to the final four because you know, that's when you, as a coach, when you die, when you retire, that goes on your grade. That's, you know, so and so passes away. He made two final fours, so and so retired. He made the final four back in 1996. The final fours goes on your legacy. That's everything. Making the final fours huge and there's a lot of pressure to get to that game once you get to the final four. Yeah, of course you want to win, but I think this is an underrated game in terms of the

7:18pressure, which to me, lends itself to unders. They come out a little tight, a little slower, a little more conservative. We saw yesterday's games both go under, I think the elite eight is a little bit underrated in terms of that. It's just a man. This is a chance to go to the final four and, you know, a lot of pressure and I think that can show itself in the totals. You know, it's really interesting that you say that because Hall of Fame corner back tie law of the New England Patriots, I've been lucky enough to get to know him and talked on them a lot and he's even set on on radio and Boston. He was like, listen, it was like everybody makes a big deal about the Super Bowl. He was like, but the game where the pressure is the AFC championship game to get to the Super Bowl. And it's kind of the same thing here of the, you're going to win that regional final. And if you're Michigan, all the pressure is on you right now to be able to get there. And boy, will this, the, I, I wish Duke Yukon was at two, 15. And you know what? I'm not going to go pat ourselves on the back.

8:19But Yukon was one of the teams that you and I really heavily debated. I think for the not only the two weeks leading into the tournament, but then once the tournament brackets were set, there was the enticement and the dangle of Yukon as a number two seed. And even though, you know, even though there were bumps along the way, could they end up getting there? They're sitting right now as five point underdogs against Duke. We know Duke has a lot of pressure on them, but Yukon's going to put a lot of pressure on Duke. And if you're the Huskies, you're thinking, hey, we should be in the final four, little different. That may be the mindset of Tennessee, but nevertheless, well, I, I, heavyweight fight signed me up. This is a national championship, worthy type of game today. It sure is. Can't wait for this game. This is awesome. This is a heavyweight fight. Hurley put it well. Yesterday, his press conference, he said, Duke and Yukon had been the two most successful

9:19programs on the men's side in men's college basketball since the 90s. And you think about it. That's, you know, it's hard to argue. Now, I believe yesterday, hard to believe this, 27 year anniversary of that classic Duke Yukon national title game, Calhoun's first title, Yukon with the big upset. That was a great Duke team and they wanted 77, 74. So here we are. 27 years later, they meet again. They did meet also in the final four in 2004, and Yukon won that one. I like Yukon. To me, it's just hard to lay points to Hurley. He's one 16 out of 17 in the tournament, which is hard to believe. He's covered 16 out of the 17 in the tournament, which is hard to believe. And you got to figure Duke, which lives at the free throw line. That was a big story against St. John's, the free throw disparity. Hurley's not going to let them get bullied with the whistle. He will lose his mind. The first time Duke goes to the foul line, the second, third and fourth time Duke goes to the foul line. So I think Hurley's antics on the sideline actually help Yukon here and keeping the whistle fair, keeping Duke off the foul line a million times. Duke's got the best player and Boozard Boozard, Boozard tremendous player.

10:22Yukon's going to have to hit some threes here. They were super cold from three, the biggest title game, and then the first two games of the NCAA tournament hit a bunch the other day, ball hit some, Caribbean hit one when he needed to. Yukon's going to have to hit them today. But look at Duke. They've trailed in the second half of all of these games, Sienna. Yeah. TCU. St. John's had them up. St. John's was up 10. I thought St. John's was going to put him away. Couldn't quite finish. I think Yukon is in this game to the very end of the Indies. Yeah. I'm, you know what? I think Duke wins the game. I don't know where you are on who wins the game. But in terms of the, in terms of the handicapping end of it, I'm with you. I'm taking the points and Yukon. Again, this was one of the teams that even if they were a number two seed, you and I had talked about a lot just in terms of their ability to get to this point. And I think for Duke, I wonder if Duke catches a little bit of a break because they played St. John's. And those big East teams normally roll with a level of physicality that most teams don't

11:25see in the tournament. So for me, I do wonder about that going from the second best team into big East to the best team into big East and stylistically. How will that work? 13:45that head coach opening. Welcome back to the Vsyn Weekend Morning Law. And I am Grash along with Will Hill and Will Illinois punch their ticket to the final four yesterday. They beat Iowa 7159. I argued with someone yesterday that Iowa is the new version of the Cinderella that we're going to get, right? So think of this, Will, look at who they upset. And if all we did was put Northern in front of Iowa, and they were in the elite aid, and it was Northern Iowa, not Iowa, everything that the Hawkeyes did during this run other than being a name brand and in the big 10, beat the upset and beat the number one seed. This is no word of a lie. In the late 90s, my Rody Rams were seeded ninth. They wanted eight nine game. They beat Kansas, a number one seed, made their way to the elite aid, a lot like Iowa.

14:49Now, again, I know it was a different time, and I understand that Iowa is in the big 10, but will it kind of feels like Iowa might be the representation of the new Cinderella in these tournaments, your thoughts. In that road, Iowa team, I believe they lost the Stanford and Mark Madison in the elite eight. And that was pre-Odom, right? That was not the Odom team that got hot and won a conference tournament and then got in, right? That was the next year where Lamar hits the shot to win the A10 title. And I remember young me just starting out in sports radio was calling Tyson Wheeler a choker the way Arthur Lee hit him with it at the foul line. That was the infamous Arthur Lee choke job. And I had like the president of the school call me directly to say that I was being unfair and inappropriate. I told him what I thought and, you know, that's why I'm not invited back to URI events,

15:50but nevertheless. But it's just really interesting to me that, you know, we're waiting for Cinderella, we're waiting for a Cinderella team. And there's Iowa, who, if you look at the seeds and who they beat and where they favor or where they not, they, they qualified into what we would have, again, if it said Northern Iowa, people would have been shrieking through the quad. Nevertheless, will that aside, Illinois, eight Iowa up on the glass in the second half. And I think Illinois only hit three threes, but when you dominate the glass like that, that kind of makes up for a whole bunch of misses from beyond the art. Sure does. And I was watching the game doing the live bet show yesterday and it was just like Iowa. It felt like their lead was very tenuous for all the reason you mentioned because Illinois was dominating glass and Iowa was shooting so well. Illinois was shooting so poorly and you figure at some point Iowa cools off and boy, they cooled off at the end.

16:50They couldn't buy a bucket of the last few minutes and Illinois is eventually going to hit some shots. And if that rebounding edge is probably more sustainable than the shooting disparity, then eventually Illinois is going to win the game. I was hoping Iowa could at least hang on and cover the seven. It didn't, but it just felt like maybe a kind of a matter of time before Illinois took control of the game. And it just felt like Iowa, they got up nine or nine, nothing in 12 to two. And Illinois would creep back Iowa would answer Illinois would creep back Iowa would answer when the dam finally broke and Illinois took the lead. I think he got up to, it was like 51 50 Iowa and before you knew it, 56 51 Illinois. And then it felt like, you know what, this is just the dam broke here. Illinois is probably going to pull away and they certainly did. And like I said, Iowa could not make a shot down the stretch. It was all Illinois. It wasn't really competitive or in doubt with three or four minutes to go. Score is a little more misleading than the game. I thought the game was relatively competitive for three quarters of it, but we'll talk about it with Arizona Purdue.

17:51It's been a lot of games. If you're betting these underdogs, Andy, it's been a lot of games in this tournament where you feel like, all right, I got the right side here. I got the points. I'm leading at half. I'm leading in the second half. I'm in good shape. And the favorite puts the foot on the gas. It ends up not only winning the game, but covering the game. That's what we saw with Illinois who going back to the final four, hard to believe. A couple of these teams, you know, Arizona and Illinois. First time since 2005 for Illinois in the final four, they've been around the final four a lot, then to some elite eight. So first time since those that deep brown Darren Williams team that went all the way to the championship game and lost to UNC first time they are back in the final four. Good run for Iowa. No shame in, you know, going to the elite, losing a tough game. They just they ran out of steam yesterday. And they don't have, you know, Bennett's starts is a really good player, but he's not the kind of guy that is just going to go out and take over and and give you an A.J. DeBonza type performance of 30 points in a big spot and then take over the game. And you mentioned Arizona beating Purdue, 79 to 64.

18:53And it I don't want to say it was like death by a thousand paper cuts, but you know what it was Arizona. It was one of those. Okay. They got the lead. Now they're up to now they're up five. Now they're up eight. And all of a sudden you look and it's like 79 to 61 and you're like, wait a minute. How did Arizona choke out Purdue? But to your point, well, it looked like Purdue was going to hang in there. It looked like the dog was going to be barking. And then what about five minutes to go? You look up and you're like, oh my God, Arizona is almost up 20. How in the world did they do that? Yeah, Arizona led by seven. I think it was like 19 to 12 2013 something like that. I was doing the show for the first half of that one too. And then Purdue really strong close to the set to the first half. Arizona went cold, Purdue leads by seven and a half, but you blink and that lead is gone. And then went from being, you know, a tie game at 42 all to the next thing. You know, like he said, 49 42 when you're thinking, oh, if you, you always feel especially when you're betting the underdog, when you have a lead and you go from being up seven

19:57to down seven and you just do, you're the underdog and you blow the lead and you go from being ahead to behind me and it's just, it's hard to regain that. I know momentum is a cliche and it kind of a buzzword. But that's how it feels. It's just hard to put the two face back in the tube. And like I said, both games follow the same script where if you had Purdue, you're getting six, six and a half points. You're up seven at the half, man, getting six and a half and I'm up seven going into the second half. That's a pretty good deal. Not even close to covering Arizona, just, uh, boy, they're really good. They're really deep. They're hard to beat. You can beat them for little periods of the game, little five, 10 minute stretches. You can outscore them maybe for a half, but beating them for 40 minutes is tough because they're so deep. They're just so versatile. They don't rely on the three, which a lot of people have used against them like, oh, man, they don't make three. They don't need to make threes. They just get so much at the rim, what they did to Arkansas on Thursday night was like a layup line. And that was basically like five on three or five on four. So that would have been a bad loss for Arizona. Lloyd's had some of these where you feel like his team is underachieved, but a lot of those

20:57questions go by the wayside now is Arizona. And another one hard to believe, 2001, the last time they made the final four, but they are back now. And that was a dominant dominant second half last night. Okay. Who is going to be the North Carolina men's head basketball coach? That is now one of the one of the great mysteries of the world that we have. If you look at the betting markets, Billy Donovan is the leader in the clubhouse at plus 175. Tommy Lloyd is on the list. Now here's the issue with Tommy Lloyd. He is also the Arizona head coach. And because North Carolina years ago, went and plucked Roy Williams from Kansas, now I think the North Carolina people think, yeah, you know what, we should just go do this again. Here was Tommy Lloyd after the game yesterday talking about Arizona basketball and the alums

21:58and how they're now keeping, helping him keep perspective during all of this. I love those guys and they've given me a better life because they helped build this program to what it is now and the legacy is so strong and those guys have been so cool and so welcoming to me, you know, the the sun may be shining on, you know, this team and me coaching it right now, but when it's shining on you, you got to fight like hell to protect it and build it. And so that's what I feel like my number one responsibility is is to fight to protect the program and fight to build it for those who came before me and for those that are going to follow after me because the, you know what, Arizona is going to have another good coach after me. I promise you. I mean, the place is special. I mean, Tommy Lloyd, just say, Hey, if you give me a bump, we'll I'll shut this whole thing down. I mean, really, that's what I think he's trying to say there.

23:01What do you, what do you make of all this will? I don't know that he's going to leave Arizona. You can obviously win it. Arizona. He's winning the Arizona now and the old saying among coaches, if you have a job, you like, don't take, don't take it for another job because it's hard to find jobs where you like it and you're comfortable. I don't know that I buy Billy Donovan and we can talk about this, maybe a little on the other side. Boy, he, yeah, he was great in college, but that's 10 years ago. That might as well be a lifetime ago. That was when, you know, no NIL, that's a completely different field. Do they want to go back and you have to recruit your roster every single year? College, you talk to these or you hear these coaches talk, it's a pain in the neck recruiting with NIL. We have to constantly recruit your own roster. I will throw one name out there. I don't think he would take it, but you never would be shocked with this guy. Are we sure Rick Patino is going to stay at St. John's or does he have his eye on a better job like he usually does? All right, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to talk about the grand old game of baseball. That's right. It is. It is time for us to bring in our MLB expert former MLB picture. Jensen Lewis is with us and he's joining us on the progressive guest line and oh, man, I, you know, as someone who lives in New England yesterday was really interesting.

25:01Jensen watching the red socks and the reds. They went to extra innings. The reds ended up winning, but that wasn't the story. The story was there were eight challenges under ABS of balls and strikes of CB Buckner. Six of them got overturned. I wonder when one of these real old umpires are just going to do the old, you know, Black Jack dealer clapped their hands and go, yep, I'm out. And then just not, not be publicly disgraced the way old CB was yesterday. Andy will great to be with you guys this morning. And it gave me flashbacks to my rookie year in 2007, ironically CB Buckner have been doing this a long time. My only strikeout of Mani Ramirez was on a change up that was at his eyes and CB rung him up and had we had ABS at that point, I really thought Mani was going on the DL at that point after that 10, 10 day DL with whiplash from how quickly he like, what are you kidding me?

26:02You just rung me up on that. So yeah. I've lived through it. Fortunately, I've been the beneficiary of the calls that have gone my way. But well, the back-to-back pitches to Aeohenio Suarez, just kind of the icing on the cake. Guys, I was looking it up this morning. And I think when you look at just what three, four days into ABS at this point, the most MLB umpires calls that have been challenged via the new system, CB Buckner has eight of those. And as you talked about, there was six 75% overturn rate, okay? For the eight calls, Chad Wittsons had seven, all seven of those calls have been a 100% overturn. And then Trip Gibson has had six and has had two thirds of his calls overturned. So again, very early sample guys. But I think you're understead. Salvador Perez the other night was unbelievable. I mean, he was a savant at the bottom of the zone, just remarkable how he was doing it and he was perfect. So is it the right thing?

27:03Yes. Andy, to kind of round aboutly answer your question on the older umpires, will this kind of weed them out? You know, I'd reserve kind of my overall judgment till we get about a third of the way into the season. Let's kind of get some more data and see if it's just one of those things, our umpires being tentative, are they being aggressive, you know, kind of where that spectrum falls and then see where some of the data is on, is it pitchers making the calls? Is it to catcher? Is a hitter's time of the game? I think all of these uh, that involves strategy to uh, it'll be fascinating to see what the data is like about 40, 45 games in. Jensen's such a small sample. So probably a stupid question to ask, but now that we've seen three days of games, we've seen the actual lineups on the field, is there anyone you feel differently about in terms of a team? Good or bad here after watching just a few days of baseball? I'm having FOMO will write in our own backyard here in North East Ohio. So I should have jumped on Chase De Lauder at 20 to one to win rookie of the year. I had no idea. He's Babe Ruth reincarnated.

28:03The opposite field home run that he hit late last night, uh, in the 10th inning off of Andreas Munio, it's arguably the best closer in the game right now, uh, to put the Guardians up six to three was remarkable. There's only one other player through his first three regular season games that has hit four home runs. And that is Trevor story. That's the list for all time. So it kind of tells you how great Chase De Lauder's a season has started there for the Guardians. They'll play Sunday night baseball in their series finale tonight. Um, any of the things that really jump off, uh, I think the struggles with San Francisco right now, and will we have talked about this too when you've come on with us and buy the books is, you know, what will that dynamic look like with Tony Vitelo there? Will he take every game as hard as he did, you know, in coaching the University of Tennessee? Will the marathon of the season overwhelm him? So the giants will certainly be in the microscope for me. Um, some other teams that that have really stuck out and one other player too, uh, Shay Langley Ears, uh, with the athletics, holy hell, what a, what a power surge that not only he had

29:06into the end of spring training, but what he's already displayed here north of the border in a couple of games against the Toronto Blue Jays. So already some standout individual performances, uh, and anxious to see where the pitching is here moving forward the next couple of weeks. So I, I'm curious from a former big leager, the start of the year in the big leagues. Is it all right? Let's just let's everybody settle in, learn each other's names, feel better about being around everyone and just kind of get through the first series. Like take me into the mind of a team who is opening the year and sort of what you want to establish if anything in that first series of the season. Yeah. And Andy, you and I, an affinity for where you are currently, uh, they're in New England and, uh, as someone who played in the Cape Cod league for a couple of years during my college years, uh, it's all red socks all the time. And, and, you know, that's even during the Tom Brady, you know, Patriot Dynasty days too.

30:08I mean, it was more important about why the socks were struggling, why Pedro couldn't get the ball over the plate the last night. So I think that that will always be something in that part of the country that's unique. Paralysis by analysis is commonplace and I even said this last week on our show guys that, you know, not only fans, but betters can overreact quite quickly within the first week of the season, heck, even the first month. So I really don't like to dive too deep into results or anything until maybe about that second week of May where we've had about five or six turns through the rotation. We've been able to see some adjustments. Because if you remember the last couple of years and even last year in the first week of the season, we had the whole torpedo bat issue there where the Yankees were hitting a homers left and right now, we said we got a banned torpedo bats. It worked its way out. It was fine. It's like it just everybody pumped the brakes. Everything is going to kind of regress to the mean here. Let's not rush to judgment. Uh, the pitch clock has been amazing here, not only for, you know, the actual game product,

31:10but I think it is really giving us a little insight as we move closer to the middle and even into the more humid parts of the year. I think Will and I had a conversation about it last year where you start look at some of these very humid climates. When you get to the middle of the season fatigue starts to settle in, you might be leaning more towards overs in hot and humid places, uh, things of that nature. So trends will, we'll surface here, but really hard to take too much out of it from a betting standpoint, super early, really exercise some discipline, some caution before you really jump head first into maybe a trend or a certain thing that started the year quickly. All right, let's get to some games today, Phillies and Rangers, Lazardo and Mackenzie Gore, two talented left lefties here, Phillies about a minus one, seven year, so favorite total of eight. What are you looking for here? Yeah. Well, this is actually a great scheduling spot for Philly backers and one in which has been a house of horrors there, Citizens Bank Park and again, Mackenzie Gore wearing a nationals uniform or a Ranger uniform that he will today.

32:12It has not been a good place for him. You look at seven career games started there at the bank. It is an ERA over seven, oh, and three in seven career starts there. So I do lean towards the Phillies on an alternate run line minus one for those that don't know. I very much like the analogy to soccer where it's the draw no bet. So if the Phillies were to win by one, you get your money back, but it kind of helps you maybe get a better quote unquote money line price there instead of having to lay a little bit of higher juice. I do like the over here day games in Philly tend to be a little bit more offensive there. And I would think that the Philly offense regardless of what comes out there could have their day. The familiarity with Gore being a national from the past handful of years, we good there. The other part I would say is if you've not jumped into maybe some alternative futures there in the national side young market was hearing comments from a Minnesota twins manager

33:13Derek Shelton the last week of spring training. They actually saw Luzardo down there in Philadelphia and he's, you know, he was tongue in cheek about it because yeah, if you're in any of those markets, I wouldn't mind, you know, looking at Jesus. He was absolutely disgusting and filthy and that's pretty high praise considering you got Christopher Sanchez in that same rotation, but to hear that from a guy who saw it is seen some quality arms, maybe a future if you want to jump in on that national side young market with Luzardo getting his first regular season start today. Jensen, we've only got a minute and I would be wagering on whether 10,000 people would show up in Miami today, but is Miami credible because they're playing Colorado? I would say that this is kind of a unique spot too and we'll chronicle the South Beach flu for teams that are staying over the weekend in South Beach that that nemesis of an afternoon night game and the quick turnaround on Getaway day. It's more so a bet on Max Meyer.

34:14He was sensational through spring training. Jose Cantana out there for Colorado, not going to be the biggest strikeout guy. So I think we see some more balls and play do like the Marlins also in that alternate run line minus one. And I think Meyer has himself a really nice day on the bottom. Yeah what a sport they have and this is unfortunately for the NBA and they're trying to address it. This is not just the final 10 days has been going on basically since before the all-star break where you've got like a third of the league that says you know what our three four five best players we're not even giving ourselves a chance to win. We can't risk it. We got it. We got to get them out of there. The Lori Markenins of the world. You just go down the line. So it's really boy it's no other sport is like this where you just so much that even questionable effort where teams just openly trying to lose games here in a no interesting

38:30winning games. I was looking at some of the things you mentioned Clippers 14 and a half point favorite on the road against the box. Heat big favorites against the Pacers. Nuggets big favorites against the Warriors who aren't tanking but just have no roster right now. Just kind of a boy the end of a dynasty a depressing watch and then you throw in the Blazers against the tanking Wizards. You parlay those four and Geogs Andrew does a good job of this a numbers game finding you know the teams to fade and just parlaying against them. Four team money line parlay minus 137 of course you got four chances to lose anything could go wrong but a bunch of these teams are tanking the one team that's not tanking this bunch is the worst who's just not any good are they really going to win in Denver. So if you told me right now hey I'm going to put in this 14 money line parlay and just not think about it and you'll go about my day you're probably get home on that. I don't think I'm going to do it but I can understand it. I mean I get you away from laying the 14 15 16 points and it's just it's a way to get at these teams that are either bad or tanking or both. I would say there's a couple of thoughts on the card today. First off I think we're at the point of the season with a couple weeks left.

39:31You know you we all remember senioritis when you're about to graduate you don't really feel like doing your homework anymore. I think if you bet all the overs from now on going forward you probably do pretty well just because you know what either we're in the playoffs and who cares we'll just get to the playoffs healthy or you're not in the playoffs then you really don't care. I could see effort defensively the last couple weeks being a question mark. So I think if you just played nothing but overs you probably do okay. As far as the big games today Hornets it's Celtics that's a fun one I'm sorry Celtics that Hornets so the Hornets are hosting Hornets about a one and a half point what dog here. Yep. One and a half. I think if you remember now yeah. If you remember they played about little less than a month ago Charlotte went into Boston and buried them beat him by almost 30 points. I wonder if the Celtics have a little motivation to get back at them today. That matters at least for the divisions. If you're into that in terms of the bets and the seating nicks and the Celtics battle for the Atlantic Celtics with a little bit of a lead there and the Hornets I don't think

40:32you're going to win that division. They lost a filly last night. So that's a was a 14 battle between Orlando Miami Charlotte and the Hawks the Hawks look like they're probably in pretty good shape to win that division. So those are things that are kind of at stake there but those are the marquee game Celtics and Hornets and then you have Thunder nicks and those teams played a couple weeks ago. The Thunder one at Madison Square Garden nicks getting looking to get a little revenge possible. I don't think it's going to happen. This is an NBA finals preview but other than that I would say look at the teams that are tanking to fade them. Look at some of the overs and this will all be over soon. We'll get to the playoffs. We'll have a fun playoffs. We'll have a competitive playoffs. We'll have the Celtics first nicks maybe in the second round. Spurs, Thunder, Nuggets involved, Lakers have played well. You've got eight or 10 really good teams that once you get to the playoffs and you trim the fat and you just get to the competitive nature of the sport and the competitiveness of the sport is a major, major issue in the regular season and Silver has to address it. He's got to be tough on this and fix it because it's ruining the regular season. There's sport now. The regular season is basically it's a joke. It's a preseason for six months here.

41:34But once you get to the playoffs, I think you're going to have a really competitive, competitive postseason here. Yeah, it's interesting that you mentioned the the Celtics taking on the Hornets because the Hornets I know for like the last like 40 games or something like that. They're like 27 and 13. They've gone on a little bit of a heater having the Hornets. But to your point, like that was Celtics pre Tatum when when they saw the Hornets last time. Now the real Celtics are are together and and let's see how the dynamics of that match up changes with Jason Tatum. I mean, to me, it's hard to turn away the Celtics, getting a point and a half on the road. And this would not their 50th win of the year for the Celtics and will I was really big on. I think I think I got the Celtics at 44 in terms of the season number because no one really knew what they were going to be this year. You knew Tatum was going to come back, but they liquidated a bunch of assets.

42:35That number got down. I think at one point to like 42 in terms of of the Celtics on a season total. This is their chance to notch their their 50th win and I'm with you. I think there is a little bit of, you know, I think there's a little bit of a beast thing there, no pun from the last time that the that the Celtics matched up against the Hornets. Uh, another game that peaks my interest only because, you know, from the whole tanking end of it is the rockets and the pelicans. So Houston is a five and a half point favorite in New Orleans today, taken on the pells. And to your point, well, how motivated are the pelicans going to be at this point? And let's also remember this, they traded their first round pick to Atlanta. So for those guys who are kind of in that tanking mode on that roster, you know, you're you're

43:36thinking, Oh, we back off the accelerator. It's that time of year. You don't even get to keep that pick right now Atlanta, if everything stayed the same. Atlanta would get the number seven pick from New Orleans, but I really wonder just overall how motivated, uh, how motivated New Orleans is really going to, are they going to be motivated tonight is what I tried to say in plain English. Yeah. And they got a decent player in Queen, but that was a ridiculous trade at the time to give up that much when you know that you're very unlikely to make the playoffs in a tough, tough Western conference. That's given up a very, very valuable pick for a team that's rebuilding. It's not like you're one player away and you're going to go for it and that picks not going to come back to buy you that's that looks like especially in a loaded draft. That was a very dangerous trade at the time and that is really coming back to bite them. Rockets are interesting too, because they kind of went all in for Durant. We'll see if they maybe have one more all in move. Can they do they have enough to get Yannis in the off season and say, All right, now we're

44:37really going for it. Oh, it seems like they went all in with a with a hand that's not going to not only get him a championship, but they were one of the short shots, one of the contenders based on the odds before the season, probably third or fourth favorite to win the whole thing. That's not going to happen. I'm not even sure they win around Durant's older Durant. I think kind of his mood brings the rest of the team down. It just seems like bad vibes follow him wherever he goes, whether it was the sons those last few years, the sons the last few years, the nets the last few years, even the warriors he left that on kind of bad terms. And now with the Rockets, they're underachieving. So you wonder if Durant just kind of, I don't know, a vibe killer in a disappointing season for the Rockets. They're not going to be making a deeper on that one of the things. Hey, I only asked this and I know we're up against it. Yo Kitch is averaging a triple double. He's plus 6000 for MVP.
