1:00This is one of those games where you're just going to feel like an idiot no matter who you pick if you're wrong because on one hand. If you pick Michigan and you try to be contrarian and you take the points while you should have seen a comment Oklahoma knows going to win by 20 that kind of thing Oklahoma was just much better. You should just trust what you saw. On the other hand, if you laid the points with Oklahoma and you laid the five and a half six. Right now it's it's anybody's game. It is Oklahoma kicking off here after tying it. And we will see here is Michigan gets the ball few minutes into the fourth quarter here as I think we have Brad Taylor Brad are you with us. I am with you. I think we're having some issues that I can only I can only hear you when the game actually starts so we are ready to go here and yes you are describing it well. Overreaction theater we saw Michigan last week. Oh they were that was the biggest cheat job ever that they won that game and then that line like you said Michigan was a one and a half point favorite in this game on the look ahead lines. 7:42Lexington we're going to talk big about that one and of course there's another big game tonight outside of Lex the Kentucky it's down in Austin Texas it is Ohio state of Texas but for now we've got a couple of games were keeping a big eye on of course there are some blowouts Georgia up 56 to 6 on Western Kentucky they're not even halfway through the third quarter yet and that one so yeah there are some other games going on but let's try to set up what we have going on today coming up in the bottom of the hour segment will have chip brown from Texas long horns insider that's a tough game for me to handicap will Oklahoma or Texas and Ohio state that's a tough one because conventional wisdom says the number one team in the nation is a dog on the road you think well why not take the number one team but a lot of sharp action to come as coming here on Texas I'll ask you just maybe a thumbnail thought on that one Ohio state Texas right now your thoughts on that game maybe not the big picture but just maybe just your your initial thoughts on that one yeah I remember last year being on the under that was a rocking chair winner with two young inexperienced

The market is yelling at us to take Kentucky here because the majority of the money is still on Alabama here yet we've seen this line come down from ten and a half to where it is now eight and a half most places Alabama is still the better team there's still a reason why Alabama is still this you know the supposed to make the college football playoff and Kentucky's win total is four and a half wins for the year it's still four to half I don't want any part of this because Alabama's got more talent but like you said I don't have the best of it either the market is telling me Kentucky but I would have much rather have had it at 10 like you had it or 10 and a half then you can get it at eight and a half now I'll stay away from this game so yeah there you go big blue nation's been on me all week because I won't take Kentucky the points but that's okay because there are other games on the board today including a game that's going to be a big 12 it is Arizona and BYU Arizona is the conference game BYU's ranked number 15 in America

24:28but I'll say that this Texas team is confident no I think the coaching staff is confident I think archmanning has some payback on his mind this was an embarrassing game for him a year ago you know and I think when you look at the offensive weapons that Texas brought in the offseason camp Coleman Hollywood smothers rally brown that Steve Sarkeesian loaded up to be able to handle teams like Ohio State in Georgia and so I think you know it's hot as hell down here so you know Ohio State I know they were pumping some heat into their practice facility they're going to need you know as much ice ice on the sideline as they can get but this should be a really good one it seems to me like Texas has a few more playmakers on defense we'll see but you know which defense can slow the opposing teams skill talent is probably going to tell the story.

25:33Last year this was a rock fight we all remember you know Labor Day weekend two young quarterbacks points were hard to come by Patricia did a good job against archmanning do you think we see maybe kind of a pole opposite game this year where it's more scoring more offense in these quarterbacks a little more comfortable a year older a year later and we see a higher scoring game total 50 and a half do you have any feel for what kind of pace what kind of scoring we'll see tonight. Well I said I thought Texas would win this game 27 to 13 so I don't know what the over under is but I think I think we will see more points than than what we saw last year for sure that was a 14 seven game both both young quarterbacks Julian saying an archmanning you know had training wheels on in that game they're much more confident players and so I imagine we're going to see you know we're going to kind of see what Arthur Smith is all about because his reputation in the NFL was you know run the football play action pass and we'll see

26:33if they're able to run the football on Texas because you know last week Texas gave up some yards on the ground but their quarterback Texas state Brad Jackson he's a he's a legit dual threat quarterback I don't think anyone's going to describe Julian saying is a dual threat quarterback and that's not really Arthur Smith style but we'll see I mean you know you hear some of the Ohio state insiders and they're they're wondering if maybe that becomes an element in tonight's game is Julian saying running a little bit more but that really hasn't been the flavor of the last you know year and one game a lot of the squares out here that are betting these games here chip we're all thinking well this is about Steve Sarkeesian it's about archmaning and yet archmaning is a bit of favorite for the high school trophy each of the last two years preseason during the season but you have to see this team is loaded you throw out archmaning this is his talent and team is anybody in the nation

27:35but is this a spot where Sarkeesian if he loses two or three games this year maybe doesn't even make the SEC championship game is this a spot where we know how the people are down in Austin could he be in maybe a little bit of trouble if he can't win games like this one against Ohio State well I don't think he'd be in trouble but you know you you don't want to get that that ball rolling you know down hill on top of you about having an Ohio State problem or a Georgia problem you know he went to Alabama and won in in 2023 he went to Michigan you know when they were the defending champs with a strong defense and and put it on them in the big house you know he's won some big games but he needs to win this one I mean there's no two ways about it because he's got the loaded roster he got pretty much everything he wanted out of the transfer portal cam Coleman you know Hollywood smothers roly brown he went out and got make you miss running backs in case the offensive line struggled again I mean these are guys who

28:38can make something out of nothing and so let's see how that plays tonight because Texas has to run the ball I mean they've got to they got to try and keep some kind of balance going here you can't just you know become one dimensional put it all on archman he you know in his legs and his arm and you know you want to be able to to keep some balance and in people Ohio State off balance. He match up tonight is there a position group do you worry about more than the others when it comes to Texas secondary you know something else you tell me here what what are some things you're going to be looking for here the first couple drives here as we get going. I think I think everyone's going to be watching the Texas offensive line because you know they had he said he's in love to run the ball outside he ran it outside on the first offensive play and it went for 45 yards and then he didn't really run it outside too much after that tried to run it inside maybe to you know work on work on that it wasn't it wasn't great they had ten you know runs that were stuffed for you

29:44know that's not good so I think that's going to be a really telling match up but as crazy as that is this Texas offensive line has been really good in past protection so if they can protect arch and he can you know find Ryan Wingo and Cam Coleman which I think they will then I think Texas you know has the right to be a good match on Ohio State secondary you know there's no Caleb Downs back there that guy has haunted Texas the last two meetings archmaning will be happy to see that he's now with the Dallas Cowboys. One of my favorite future bets chip is Texas to win the SEC championship this year so many people were on Georgia Texas was a second favorite but if you just look at kind of the it definitely kind of look at the cars and all that stuff Texas is a loaded tea even if Texas loses this gave the day which will be heart breaking for them I'm sure this is still the team to beat the SEC don't you think you know it's hard to say

30:49that when Georgia has just mauled them and Texas is average only 27 yards rushing against Georgia and three losses but talent wise on paper on the roster I think Texas has the best roster in the SEC so that's another reason why Steve Sarkiesian with Will must champ now it's his defensive coordinator you know should be seen as either one or one a with Georgia in the SEC race. Bottom line it for chip bottom line it for us who wins this game by what score and how do you see this game kind of unfolded down in Austin's night. I think our smanning has a really good night tonight and I think that he's going to be able to find his receivers I think he's going to throw the ball to his running backs and I think that they control this game. And the next time they run a play is 25 seconds left the next pass he threw the next play was a good pass and was maybe catchable and would have given them a shot but you can't throw the ball throw the ball at somebody's feet throw it out of bounds. I know you don't want to get a grounding but that basically ended the game you can't check it down there in bounds to guy that's covered about to be tackled just a terrible decision. And he made a couple of them he he'd not play well as as Michigan gets a win and they you know i'm sure hurt all week.

36:05You're no good you didn't deserve to win that was BS which you know what some of that was true a lot of that was true but they rally and they win nice win for them as they go to 2 1 0 we are underway Alabama and Kentucky first player the game is very nearly a pick 6 by Alabama but the defensive back couldn't come up with it ends up being like a 15 yard game game for Kentucky and Anderson who makes the place so we're underway there. A lot of blue that's these are two classic uniforms you think of the blue and Kentucky and you know the Alabama uniform it's very visually pleasing here is this game you know watching this and I think the big story we probably should start to spend a little more time on it Brad we spent a little time on it Oregon weather delay against almost eight 24 and a half point favorite it looks like it's 27 23 here I haven't had eyes on it I don't know if they just got the end zone but it's a four point open state lead. 912 to go as Oregon here is still going to be heard from we do have a review coming so we'll keep an eye on that one.

37:06Oregon just scored a touchdown there reviewing the touchdown there way of the extra point is pending and they're showing the replay right now Oregon caught a touchdown into the end zone we're going to see if he kept possession of it and I don't have a good angle on that one we will see how that goes but yeah right now Oklahoma state is taking down Oregon that touchdown is not official yet but the odds makers seem to think it is because Oregon currently a minus three and a half on the live betting line 73 and a half your total reminiscent of the Mike Gundy days there with a total there Oklahoma state though still up on Oregon in that one some other games that are just starting we do see that Notre Dame is already up seven and nothing on rice live betting line there just your average 55 and a half who was it last year will that we said Notre Dame was playing in the line with the game was about 60 points and we said we were crazy if we didn't take the points of that one and then it wound up being a great back so I forgot who that was I think yes that was it that was it Notre Dame and Syracuse last year it was a 50 60 point line midgame so there you go other games just now underway Washington and Utah state that game is five minutes in there scoreless there Washington still a 27 half point favorite we are three minutes in in Lexington and of course yes the Kentucky Wildcats are still an eight and a half point down the line.

38:25Still an eight and a half point dog here as it looks like Kentucky still has the ball around midfield here a couple of minutes into that game and BYU and Arizona also still scoreless there about three minutes into that game BYU now only a four and a half point favorite there on the live betting line with 48 and a half so yeah of the early games the only one really I'm keeping an eye on is Oklahoma state in Oregon and it looks like Oregon's touchdown does count and they are kicking the extra point now 27 24 Oklahoma state in that one so there's nine minutes to go in the third quarter there so that's a long ways for being over anything of these 330 window of games eastern time will that you're looking for maybe a Mississippi state Minnesota kind of game here is there anything other than the big ones we're talking about that you have an eye on here buddy. I'm taking myself are not giving this out and taking it because it's something to keep in mind to talk about some of these teams that take the ball they win the toss they want the ball and I'll see here Mississippi state did that I know they scored first USC usually starts with the ball because they take the ball when they win the toss the other teams usually defer so USC first quarter USC the score first those are usually good bets same thing with Mississippi state I know they did it all last year I'll double check you in a second to see now maybe they just lost the toss in the other team deferred but either way usually Mississippi state even if you only take the ball half the time breath.

39:45If the other team is going to kick basically 100% of the time yeah like a three quarters chance of starting with the ball so Mississippi state first quarter Mississippi state to score first the other team in the third quarter like plus a half a point those are always good bets to consider when you're looking at those teams that's good research you can do to try to find those teams that take the ball because I'm not sure the market always catches up to it. You're right and that's something you know you talk about that a lot of this show especially watch the coin flip who takes it do they defer to the second half that's another good thing to for when you're betting second half for third quarter lines especially going into these Mississippi state is up seven zip on Minnesota right now a lot of sharps are on Mississippi state here that line really moved throughout the week to where Mississippi state was a short favorite a lot of places with this kicked off Mississippi state now a three and a half point favorite on the live betting line I guess Minnesota total faith. So we're going to be in the fifth and a half here is we're keeping an eye on all the big boy games going on right now so yeah we are looking at the big ones and yes we do see Oklahoma state is still up on Oregon we're waiting for something in there another touchdown for Notre Dame they are up 14 the nothing on rice and we are just starting this the first quarter and that one we literally are not even five minutes in right now Notre Dame now a 56 and a half point favorite seems easy take

41:07to say that the last year right easy money right well not watching it I know that sometimes a good angle when these teams are up such a ridiculous amount you time it right sometimes end of the first half beginning of the third quarter and the algorithm doesn't always catch up for the fact that you know what at some point the team that's ahead is just going to pull the plug unless you're Mario Christopoul I guess ran it up the other night against poor Florida a and M and that came was just ridiculous other night but Indiana Howard was another example where it's like I think it was 55 nothing in the live total was like 70 six and a half late third quarter I know Todd wish to have gave this out on his his discord where you just say you know what the bad teams not going to be able to score the good team takes the foot off the gas they just run the ball and everyone's just happy to go home and get that out of there and and go about their business so under in these games is usually the way to plan if anything. I'm keeping an eye on real quick here will call and Syracuse yes it is an ACC game but a true conference road dog and Cal here Syracuse up three nothing early in that one midway through the first quarter and Duke and Illinois this might have been one of the most difficult games for me to handicap because I really wanted to lay the chalk with Duke here in this one but Illinois right now is a one point leader seven to six over Duke minus six and a half is there any kind of power games maybe off the top 25 grid and I think that's the way to do it.

42:26That you kept kept an eye on because I know Maryland and you condoms another game out there this being played right now and one of my favorite bets was Easter Michigan getting a lot of points at Michigan state are there any kind of power conference teams other than the big ones that we haven't touched on yet that you you're keeping an eye on today. No try to keep a track you know and I and everything which is not the easiest job sometimes in this time slot right like during the summer you sit here and there's a few baseball games we're looking for stuff right watching that we don't have enough. This is like it's just your head spinning you need a bunch of TV's you need a bunch of devices so you know we're doing the best I can't do the best we can keep me posted on Maryland you can which is scoreless middle of the first quarter because I can't I don't have that my apps being in Connecticut they won't post scores here but we mentioned Bama Kentucky how was 10 and a half. It goes down to a half here's a perfect example right if you missed the best of the number just wait because right now Kentucky they have a few first downs they put it's Bama ball you can get your 10 and a half so instead of taking the bad number your your number is probably going to pop up now live you probably have to pay a little more juice but it's better than getting beat on a bad number.
