Let's go places. Freight rail does more than move goods. It drives America's economy. Every dollar invested generates another $2.50 in economic activity spurring growth from farms to factories. And here's the best part. Freight railroads fund their own infrastructure,
saving taxpayers billions while powering the economy forward, from reducing highway congestion to delivering goods safely and efficiently. Freight rail keeps America moving. Learn more at ar.org slash America's engine. We're leaving in the Monday. We're going to get a shin of these in by the folks Dave Ross right here at the minute, gaming hall. It's frankly Kentucky. There is our closer gents and list back home in Cleveland, Ohio. My man, how was the weekend? I believe you got some R&R and I bet you right back to 100%. We're we're almost there, pal. Great to be back with you. Shout out to everyone who tuned. I got a message from Stormi. God bless her on Friday after the show. And she said, oh my God, your voice. And she goes, it had Dave not said it was you. I thought it would be someone
else. And she's like, who is hosting on this show? And I said, yeah, it's the loan time. I ever get the channel. My inner berry white. So we're almost back to 100%. I was a good weekend. Good week overall, man. Boy, we've been struggling on the hardwood, both college and NBA. We made a nice little move back into the positive direction, tough day overall yesterday. But now we get to maybe the great week of college basketball, the entirety of the season before we get to selection Sunday. It's going to be an absolutely blast this week covering all these conference tournaments is the beginning for the big boys in earnest with the regular seasons now come and going. And obviously teams starting to punch their tickets here to the big dance. We will review what we saw UFC 326, just wild night there, certainly the main event. And also the golf this weekend at the Arnold Palmer. And now we look forward to their crown jewel and the PGA tour, the players championship coming in this week. So the golf tournament just get bigger and bigger. But with Will Hill coming on the program, Max Goodman's going to join us as well to talk all
things New York metropolitan's and the daily diamond today. Zachary Cohen as well. It is a great guest list that we have for you here on this Monday, but the NFL, they just don't stop. And that's what we'll begin with today's highlights and headlines. Help your bottom line with today's highlights and headlines. I just think of Bill Bollochek as a voice one of the Lombardies at the trophy ceremony in Boston. No days off. No days off. That's the NFL. I've said this for a long time, Jensen. It's the dumbest misnomer that the NFL has legal tampering. Just to take it away. Why do we have to call it that because it's just it's a oxymoron. But yes, the legal tampering period begins today for the NFL. So Jensen, we can legally try to steal your players away. That's what the NFL is telling everybody. You can make those phone calls. You can get deals put in place. But the
legal tampering begins today at high noon. Well, let's get to what has been legal or what will become legal once the league year begins. And that is obviously what we saw over the weekend. A Max Crosby goes from the Raiders to the Ravens. Trent McDuffy yesterday ends up signing a or at least will end up signing the biggest contract extension for a cornerback in league history. Cleo Mack, remember we surmised about him. You know, would he end up being a guy that goes somewhere else middle of the season while he's going to go right back to the chargers and a host of other signings that will become official. Where will the quarterbacks end up? Man, we talked a lot of Kyle Murray last week. What's his destination? What will the the domino effects be on that? So still a lot of big names out there, including Travis Kelsey in a different uniform for his swan song. Oh boy, I'm going to be interesting to see what happens here later on. Can't wait to see all the tampering. You mentioned it with the Trent McDuffy deal four years, $124 million dollar extension. That's $100 million guaranteed. So highest paid corner
in the history of the NFL. So that big swap chiefs didn't want to pay the money. Rams were happy to do just that. Ah, the sweep is complete. And this is the block M for Michigan yesterday as they do beat Sparty again, 90 to 80 high schooling affair there sweeping this season series. So again, you look at the numbers in front of these names here, right? Would number eight Michigan state that's holding on to a two seed or two line? You would believe Michigan clearly on that one line here with this 10 point victory again. I don't know that the perception changes for either team here after this, this, this completion yesterday by Michigan. Yeah. And depending on where you were, I got in live on this game. Depending on where you got the spread, it was up to 10 and a half. I saw in some spots by the time we tipped off. So if you took Sparty, well, you had to hold on for dear life at the end there, never doubt caching the over 150, 150 and a half. Any, any of those numbers, that gets home. I jumped in on Michigan minus four and a half when Sparty was tied there in the first half. And it actually played quite
well. I'm intrigued to see what happens because with this loss for Michigan state, Dave Nebraska winning yesterday, that means Nebraska, the two seed in the big 10 tournament in Chicago, Sparty down to a three seed. But as you mentioned, if somehow Michigan state finds their win at the semis, maybe in the championship game, I think they lock up that, that two line without any fear, whatsoever. Punch those tickets, baby. How about these groups of teams that are already in now, high point, North Dakota state, Northern Iowa, Queens University, they're going to Clinton, C double A tournament spots here, Tennessee state one, the Ohio Valley on Saturday, Long Island, Clinton, auto bid by reaching tomorrow's any C final, they're going to play Mercyhurst, but they're ineligible. So that means that they're going to get in no matter what here for Long Island. That's the transition rules that they have in D1. So just smaller schools out there, but you start punching those tickets. We're going to do a lot of that this week. Absolutely. A lot of the big tournaments happening, one notable finish over the weekend that I'm sure people saw, to see what happened with Boston University at the end of that Boston and Navy
game, where the clock operator did not start after Navy had the go ahead bucket to go up by two, that clock operator took about a couple of seconds before they started when Boston inbounds the ball. They come down a little bit past half court and shoot the game winning three is time expired. What a gut wrenching loss for your midshipman, their pal, we never like to see our armed forces lose whatsoever. We can stomach it when it comes to sports to a certain extent. But boy, some real big, big time differences, where some top seeds and some of these smaller tournaments Dave will not be punching their tickets to the big dance. I will just say that at that clock operator was a Marine, Navy would be moving on, slavery. Around the association today here, Gents, and we saw this weekend, you know this Boston against Cleveland has a big time match up there in Boston gets the best of your calves there by 11. The Lakers beat the nicks. I don't know if
that's a big surprise there, but one 10 97's final and San Antonio keeps on rolling. How about 145? They put up on the rockets here. Again, it's almost about just betting perceptions now of some of these big boys here. But let me, let me ask about the Lakers beating the nicks. Does that change your opinion there at all? One 10 97 with the Lakers getting that home win. No, how about it was a 12 straight that the Lakers had lost ATS as far as this situational spot. I did not get in at all with action here. What I do find hysterical is that when LeBron is out of the lineup and Luca and Austin Reeves are in together. Boy, the Lakers are a very formidable group. And that should be the writing on the wall. It is time to walk away, LeBron James. You are no longer useful in any sense, no matter on the floor or off the floor. I did not get home on my Cavaliers. I did think they would put up a much better showing. Not only did the clock spring forward, Dave, but the Celtics spring massively forward in my eyes,
which Jason Tatum back. I didn't even play their best game. And they look absolutely frightening now. I don't know if there's a team in the East that really matches up with them. And I don't give a damn if Jared Allen was in there yesterday. The softness of the Cavaliers. They're not ready. I'm not impressed with a team that if you are a championship contender, you better show up and kind of especially on your home floor. What an embarrassing effort from them. And then I had no chance on the under with the spurs and the rockets. My, my, I mean, San Antonio is for real man. They are, they are a really, really fun and formidable team to watch. You remember just a couple weeks ago, you and I would do the exercise almost every day of just looking at the odds market in the Eastern Conference. They were all bunched together by about 75 cents from about $3 to $3.75, $3.80. Not anymore. Boston has separated from that pack plus $1.70, plus $1.70. Gonna got them around four to one just a couple weeks ago. Cleveland now the second betting choice of plus three 40 Detroit has drifted to plus four 25 and look at the next plus four 50. So they
are moving away. And remember back then, it was like the sixers, about 13 to one 35 to one. Demarcation lines have been set in the Eastern Conference right now. And boy, it looks like a big four and now a big one with Boston, a plus $1.70. Oxe, Betia, does it again? Are you kidding me? He starts off the back nine five shots down of Daniel burger and he catches fire. Birdie, birdie, birdie, to be the back nine at Arnie's place, gets into a playoff and wins it in the first hole with a par and 18. Burger makes a bogey and how about Oxe, Betia three time winner now the PGA tour. And all three of those gents and in playoffs. And I gotta be honest with you, I've been on the wrong side of two of them. I had Denny McCarthy in his second tournament victory in a playoff against Oxe, wrong on that. I had Daniel burger a piece of him yesterday in that monolith mono, wrong again. It's Oxe, Betia and Jensen, he's got my young stars in the professional world of golf 24
years old. Let's see, young kid with three titles already to his credit. I don't know what to take more from Daniel burger. As I said, we almost need to send into the British with that embarrassing loss. We don't blow those kinds of leads when we are Americans, at least in many respects. So credit words do, though. Betia, it has been a phenomenally consistent year for him. It feels like Dave, he's almost been a lock and load from a positional wager standpoint and you have to look at him now, all of a sudden, as a contender, upcoming this week at the players, right? His form, especially closing here on the weekends, as of late, congrats to him and a nice $4 billion payday there at Arnie's place. It's pretty amazing to see what he's doing here at just 24 years young, by the way, Daniel burger ticket holders at 140 to one before the week. Ouch. It felt like he had that thing done until he didn't. If you're still paying full price

Jensen, a wild golf event here to watch, Daniel Berger, not be able to close this thing. Remember, actually, a beauty after day one with seven shots back of Daniel Berger. But what's I think more impressive on the Betia side is he was five shots back going to the back nine and pulled off an incredible shot on 16 where he almost
went to Albatross. Albatross and almost hold out from the fairway on the par five and had about a three footer for Eagle, which he makes. Berger made birdie there. So he's still at one shot lead. But that quickly went away with a bogey on 18 in Betia was just rock solid down the stretch. When you look at a tournament like this, and by the way, if you had Rory McAroy placement markets, I feel bad for you this weekend because remember, he was at 500 par going to the weekend and then tweaked his back Jensen on a Saturday. He was there. He's on the ground. He's getting ready to go to the tee box. And he said, this is the part that would bother me just a little bit. I like the transparency. I like the honesty that he was really just it was almost in shall we say preventative mode to get ready for the big boy this week at the players. And Jensen, I'm thinking to myself, if I'm a better and I hear that that you probably could have gone and given it ago, they made these elevated events for you, Rory. You were the guy that was talking about we need these elevated events like they have in the live golf league for the big boys that they create
these things for you. And then you back out in the middle of it so you can get ready for the players. That would not sit well with me if I had some of those placement markets. But fortunately, I did not. We did have column war callus. So we cashed those. He finished a he's finished solo fifth, a really good week for Colin didn't get home in the small ticket there. First round leader, Jensen, Jake Natt withdrew. So there was no action on the Jake Natt plays. So when I gave out the three in total, so really became two more Calla to Qing, move the gober to Qing. Can people stop hating on the big sweet now, Jensen. And I always say that I'm tough as some of the ones I love. This guy should have been should been going to that playoff. He missed three shorties there. Those three three shots that he ended up trailing here finished at 12 under par. But he cashed those big tickets of plus three 75 on the top 10 again, Jensen. My guy is there. He is back. You know, I'm be looking at him again this weekend at the players. I'll be looking at him at Augusta. And I think the million dollar question now, Jensen is after another week, where Scotty
chef does not register at top 20. It's two straight signature events that Scotty doesn't get to a top 10. Those price points that say the big sweet are not going to be there any longer. Plus three 75. I think we've taken advantage of that gravy train that might run out. Going to be interesting to see. And again, a nice three out of four on my top 20s with Kalamora Kawa getting home, a chef struck it. Boy, you talking about a guy that was right in contention on Sunday. Yes, he was four back entering the round. But man, I would have loved to have seen big set play a lot better than what he did. And leaking some oil there almost gave up our nice juicy top 20 price. Jacob Bridgeman. Well done, sir. And we needed a little help from Bud Colley on the 18th to be able to get into a tie there for the top 20s. So we cash three of the four Tommy Fleetwood back on the band list. What an embarrassing tournament for old Tommy boy. And a quick, quick recap, Charles James at Bet that picks that's tweeting us
right now. We have a joke. And we know that when you say Daniel Berga, because the way people say sounds like he's British. We know he's American. So you can go ahead and dispense with coming at me with the, what does it have to do with being American? It's all in good fun. It makes perfect sense instead of zero sense. So thanks as always, Charles, for tuning in every day to visa and buy the books. I think ultimately what we take away from Kalamora Kawa and you mentioned it last week in a bears repeating, there feels like there's a calmness now. There feels like there is a return to focus. And I think more notably Dave, it's the putter. Like he is really reading well. He's making big time. I go back to remember the ball that he hit in the drink. And then he makes par on the par full screen like that to me is what I mentioned you on Friday. Like that was the change for me. That's all I needed to see from Kalamora Kawa way different dude than what we saw with the temper tantrums last year. Yeah, he does. And look, it's not going to be a surprise when you guys
see my card later on once we see the numbers populate here that are already out there. And I'm going to be shopping around to try to find those best prices. But I am looking right back at Kalamora Kawa. I'll be looking right back at the big suite. And maybe we'll see if Jake now I got to figure out if he's injured or see what's going on there. Why exactly that pull out right before his round on Thursday. Scotty chef was going to be interesting to see if he drifts at all. There's Jensen. I don't think he will. He is not playing very good golf to his standards as world number one. That is for sure. But kudos to oxaybatea getting that done. Shout out to Charles Olivera. And I mentioned right here in the program a lot last week, Jensen. I knew I was going against the popular green there. And it did not bother me in the slightest. I bet him in plus $1.75 rebed him and plus $85 against Max Hallway this weekend at UFC 326 complete domination. And I got to be honest with him. My biggest play was the over two and a half. I got nervy because I thought he might submit Max Hallway in the first 10 minutes of this fight and props to Max for not quitting. A lot of guys would have quit. So the BMF belt now goes to the Brazilian in Charles
Olivera. That was a big money maker for me. Missed on Michael Johnson with some very interesting line moves in that fight, which flipped through Dober to the favorite. He did get the knockout of Michael Johnson inside of around a half. So we actually salvaged a little bit of profit out of that. I did miss an RDR in the combing event. I thought he was a pretty good fight, but still a little bit lacking from RDR against Kyle Bojillo in the combing, but a profitable UFC 326. The thank you to everybody and I got a lot of nice messages about people who tailed the main event as well for Olivera. So I appreciate the trust there. But again, you got to go with what sometimes your eyes tell you not just the numbers know the numbers and then also know what your your convictions are. And they were certainly the Charles Charles Olivera side there. We mentioned that the Max Crosby move to the Ravens. They are now the betting favorite here in the AFC after they make that seismic move here to get Max on a Friday. Jensen, what does that tell you about Baltimore now with mentor now is the new head coach. You got to think that Jesse's got to be saying, hey,
give me an edge rusher. Maybe at the best in the league, potentially here in Max Crosby. Well, first of all, this feels like the reset or the ability to hasten the reset. If you are the Raiders in getting multiple first round picks now, not only this year, but also looking at next year. And if indeed it is Fernando Mendoza at one, then you might be in the market also for a veteran quarterback to use that second first round selection as someone who can help you immediately in this iteration of what that team is going to look like with Clint Kubiak. On the Ravens side, you obviously know that this is a point where how many more years do you have with Lamar Jackson? And are you wanting to try and make this the window that that you have to be able to not only compete again in the AFC North, but in the AFC overall, make no mistake about it there. They have not had a lot of luck in the draft with their
edge rushing the last handful of years. They probably went with the more known commodity, even at a higher age at this point, Dave, but there's no denying what that vibe now is in that Ravens locker room. I mean, you go get this kind of thing about the quarterbacks in this division. You got Miles Garrett for two games. You got Max Crosby for two games. And then if Tray Hendrickson were to come back with the the Bengals, then look like it's going to happen. But think about what you have to deal with from an edge rusher standpoint. If you're just starting quarterback in the AFC North, the numbers have moved dramatically with that Max Crosby move. How about this odds on now Baltimore to win the division at minus a dollar 40. That's a big move. The Bengals now the second betting choice at plus 270. And you mentioned it, I don't think they're going to have Tray Hendrickson there as well. Steers are now five to one. Remember, they won the division a year ago. Still waiting here by Aaron Rodgers, if he's official and the brownies at 15 to one boy, that division right now,
it feels like you have a clear A B C and D at least in the betting market and we're in March. That is amazing. That's what that move signals signals to me is at the Ravens right now. Not only the favorites to win the NAFC at plus four 50. And the next betting choice there is plus four 75. And by the way, the chiefs are seven to one right now in the marketplace there. So it just seems to see the bills now the second betting choice behind the Ravens in the AFC. But that AFC North feels like already, Jensen, it's starting to take shape. I don't know that I'd want to bait bet them right now as odds on a win the division, but I can understand why the markets have moved to make them a dollar 40 betting favor. No reason to bet any football right now. Disclaimer people don't do it. It's very stupid. We don't have any idea of total roster construction till after the draft. So let the numbers fluctuate. They're going to be there for you. Don't get hasty. Let it all work itself out after draft day. Yeah, there are right now as I look here.
There's only three divisions where you have odds on favorites. The Eagles and the NFC East at a dollar 15. The Ravens at a dollar 40 and the Buffalo Bills back to being odds on again. A dollar 45 betting favor to Patriots. Oh, by the way, in the Super Bowl a year ago, plus a dollar 45 to win that division. I will come back talk a lot more hoops as we now at the madness is certainly upon us here and also some of the games of the night in the WBC as well. That's all next right here. I'm decent by the book. You're too dimmed of decent by the books right here on visa. We get to do decent by the books. You need to get paid back on gas with free. I stress free upside. Actually just download it right now. Go to upside.com. I'm going to get all the details there. But when you do you go to gas station, you put in the promo code books. You're going to get
25 cents back per gallon on your very first Phillips. I do it today. It's on my phone as well. Very quickly here. We got some games tonight in college basketball that we'll talk about in the WCC semi finals here. Some big boys going there with Santa Clara, St. Mary's, Gonzaga and Oregon and Oregon State and that one. But over the weekend, as we wrapped up the regular season here, we talked about Michigan, the block am getting the sweep of sparring Nebraska getting that nice winning against Iowa. You know, over time, Illinois took down Maryland tighter than many people thought. And how about Duke, North Carolina? This look like a Duke blow out. And then out of nowhere without their best player done for the year and Kale Wilson, North Carolina really made that a fight here, Jensen. Any takeaways here as we wrap up the regular season for the big boys and get into their conferences this week. One of the worst backdoor losses of my season. I laid the points with Duke. They are absolutely man handling North Carolina. And then the last two minutes look away people. Just an awful beat there. A lot of bad beats over the weekend for people that had some underdogs
and they did not get home on covers beaten by the hooks. What have you? Welcome to March people. This is what we do with and get ready because it's only going to Crescendo through the rest of the week. Key takeaways from me. Holy hell is Florida wagon right now. I mean, the final score with Kentucky and credit where it's due. The Wildcats made a hell of a comeback in the last five minutes. They did not go away. Great job by Mark Pope to get his group right. But that's back-to-back years now, Dave. And your neck of the woods, you're going to see Kentucky playing on day one of the SEC tournament. It had been a while since we have seen the Wildcats be a nine seed or below in the SEC tournament. So Florida, that's a big takeaway from me. They should be a one seed and they should be one of the favorites to get not only back to the final four, but to repeat as national champs. Texas tech without JT topping might be a problem. Okay. BYU now BYU. A lot of motivation for them at home. It was a multi-unit play for me over the weekend. We got home there, but that was more a
situational spot. I think what we're going to find, Dave, big 12. If you want to jump in on the futures, not mad at you for it. I don't know how much farther you go past Houston though. And we've made mention about Kansas. You can't travel out on field house. So it's going to be a difference maker for the J Hawks from me when the bracket comes out. I will ask you the question. And I asked it to you last week. If you could have Duke, Michigan, Arizona and Florida versus the field to win the title. Would you rather have them laying laying two dollars to me from what I've watched and where I'm seeing even the two line into the like it feels like a very large discrepancy between the one seeds and then any other challenger in any of the brackets, especially with Yukon falling all over themselves against Marquette the way they did too. With all due respect to Brad Underwood and Illinois. I like Brad personally in my time in Chicago. I would say the two teams
that would scare me in that bet would be Houston at 12 to one and Yukon at 18 to one. Sure to that can any other team really outside of the big four that you mentioned win the national championship because I don't think Illinois can at 17 to one. I think you can Yukon can because they're pedigreeing their coach. I trust him. Same reasons that I'll make a case for Houston at 12 to one. But Purdue lost again. They're 45 to one. Gonzaga. We're going to talk about them here in a second in the WCC 55 to one. Could they really make a run to win the national win the national championship? I don't know. And now without Caleb Wilson, even though Carolina Sponkey at one 10 to one, topping a Texas tech without one 10 to one. I mean, we're talking about extreme wonks. That's Kentucky's 100 to one. Hey, I just don't see it with these other schools right now. I think minus two dollars. If you find that prop out there for the big four, I think that's great value. Jensen, I'd absolutely take that and lay the chalk. And you know me, I'm only a dog
hunter there. I would lay in that two dollars and take that big four. And I know I'm getting at least two to the final four. And I would have two shots right here. Yeah, no, I agree. I'm with you. I was going to I was going to throw out an idea to you. If you were to take a double digits outside of Houston and Yukon, I wouldn't mind to play an Iowa state. And depending on where their draw is and ironically, the the lost by Yukon forcing them down to the two line Florida up to the one line, Houston may end up a two seed in a potential regional final where it'll be in Houston. Okay. So when the bracket come and remember that, there's a potential there. So if you want the double digits at 12 to one on Houston right now to win it all, not a bad idea to have in pocket. But I would say out of the big 12, I don't know if I'm getting past Iowa state. Iowa state, Houston Arizona. That's all I could go. You're Gonzaga Bulldogs keep hanging around, man. They keep just from the metrics are friends at CBB analytics.com. When you combine adjusted offensive
rating, adjusted defensive rating, they've you filtered out. They still they're still in their they're kind of that that top gun line. When you're a left side a little bit low, like they're right under. All right. I they're right under Florida right under Arizona as far as their efficiency. That might be if you're looking for kind of that. I hate to put them. They're not a Cinderella, but if you're looking for a dark horse, Gonzaga may be worth a sprinkle there to to win it all. If not, make it to the final four. Well, I'll just say this. I'm so glad I bet Alabama at 60 to one a couple of months ago to win the national championship, but I could have bet him today at 70 to one. Uh, conference turn of a week. It is here. That means not stop college hoops and some of the best betting opportunities right now the entire year. I mean, championship week. Come on. It really doesn't get a whole lot better than this from a betting perspective. That's why you need to be a decent pro subscriber with our hoops. Mania special. It runs through May 1st for just 29, 99. It's our March. Mania betting guide. It's packed.
Every team preview. It's out there. So if you're going to bet championship week, of course, you are. This is the edge you're going to need. So sign up today at vson.com slash subscribe vson.com slash subscribe. Speaking of those Gonzaga Bulldogs, you're going to be taking on Oregon state today in the WCC semis there in Las Vegas. Santa Clara taking on St Mary's. Do we feel like we're on that collision course here for Gonzaga St Mary's in the WCC final? Yeah, remember that the tournament set up here, Dave is where both the top two seeds end up getting that buy into the semifinals. So again, that's where they'll play their first game of the tournament tonight. I'll win by both again to the championship tomorrow, boring something unforeseen. Yeah, this should be where where it ultimately ends up. Zachary Cohen, the right up at vson.com on the west coast conference tournament, basically saying, hey, it's boring to pick Gonzaga, but that's the way to go here. Those are his words and he's not
going to be surprised if it is a matchup of the top two seeds. As Steve Mackinim betting trend to follow here, Dave, west coast conference favorites in the semifinal and the championship rounds, 22 and 14 ATS. So a little bit over a 61% cover percentage and also the sweet spot for betting favorites in this tournament, minus six to minus 12. And again, we won't have that with Gonzaga, who is an 18 and a half point favorite against Oregon State, but something to keep in mind, as you move forward here. The other thing to keep in mind are west coast conference tournament totals, 147 or higher going over at a 70% rate, almost 27, 12 and one entering the tournament. So again, if you're looking for something to sink your teeth in, as we get to the quote unquote, final four of the WCC tonight out in Orleans arena, those are two notable trends in the semifinal and championship rounds to keep in mind. You know, somebody came out you for the Daniel Berger
English joke that we do. Somebody came and be a Twitter for doing George Washington in a, in a USA baseball uniform. Maybe they're British and they're still upset about what happened. I don't know, but we're just trying to have some fun on it. Jensen or Canadian very upset apparently. It's just a hockey game. Mexico, it's the United States, dear Jensen. Look, it's been a lot of fun for to see that that pride on display to be great Britain, the big home run from college warver. And now we're going to move on and take on Mexico. You got a lay three and a half runs, Paul ski is going to be on the bump here to begin at that total sitting at 11. What have you made so far of USA in the WBC? Well, it took a little bit to get going against Great Britain. But eventually as history will tell you, Dave, we overcome and we pull away. So that was kind of a college warver, man. Flair for the dramatic. I feel like there has not been a situation that has presented itself where you want maybe someone else. I don't know, but in these moments, man,
shore bombs seem to find their way. And it did as the United States would have ended up pulling away in kind three way tie Dave atop pool B right now. Mexico to know the Italians to know. By the way, team Italy, a candidate for stock up stock down this week and the United States will send Captain America, Paul schemes to the mound tonight. This was probably their biggest challenge. Headed into pool play, Dave, all time in world baseball classic tournament play, they are one in three against team Mexico. Their only win was the first round in 2006 when they won two to nothing. So a little revenge in the mind here against team Mexico tonight and Houston. I thought Twitter was exceptional with some of the great Britain takes that they had over the weekend with T and the harbor and we're not where could you imagine telling the great brits back in the 17 hours we're going to beat you in baseball. What's that? When we come back, let's talk about the daily docket. Well, we got who's got their tickets punched already in the big dance. That's next right here. I'll be some other folks.

Jen, so we're punching tickets to the big dance here for March Madness. I can't believe I got a big group of friends coming in town here for next Thursday. We're going to be right here at the mint gaming hall behind me on Friday. We've already reserved our table. I'm a little bit nervy, but when you turn back the clock with the boys for March Madness, do you get like that at all? My liver starts to hurt a little bit. How do you pace yourself when you get a little bit older? Well, and hopefully years ago, Dave, remember the opening of March Madness was on St. Patrick's Day. Imagine I do. Imagine the insanity you would have had in suing there. A lot of people in these parts start around 7 a.m. with kegs and eggs. That's for another time. What? But yeah, dude, pacing and hydration. You don't hydrate to dehydrate. You get a you get a hydrate the night before and then hold on to your butts. There you go. Like Jimmy Dugan said in the league of their own. That's good advice. Let's get to it. The teams that have already punched those tickets. It's time for today's
edition of The Daily Docket. Your snap shot of odds, trends, and futures. This is The Daily Docket. Jets and every time I see the a son representative, I think of, uh, please ball of art. A little bit with Johnny drama and the boys from entourage. Can you tell the people about some of these schools that have punched their tickets? Absolutely. Uh, and God, uh, imagine a remake of entourage in today's day and age with everything going on in society. Oh boy. Sometimes you need some of the old to come back and be new. All right. Uh, what's not old, uh, is a couple of upsets in these conference tournaments. You may mention of it. The Atlantic sun, uh, down there in Jacksonville, Florida Central Arkansas was your top seed. Ironically Austin P was the two seed. They were your top betting choice entering pre flop. Queens, the royals, come on down. Your table is ready. Uh, upwards of four to one to win the conference tournament. A one big lead. They punch
their ticket to March madness. Congratulations to that group getting across high point. Never doubt, man. Uh, I mean, they were juggernaut all the way through the big south tournament, uh, leaving pretty much everything in their wake, very convincing when yesterday, uh, down in Johnson City, Tennessee at the Freedom Hall Civic Center. Uh, Missouri Valley, uh, the Arch madness. Unders were good early. Unders were not good late. Uh, but what was good? Man alive. How about a value selection northern Iowa? Man, oh, man, oh, man. I mean, this one had chaos written all over at Belmont gets bounced early in, uh, what the quarter final semi final round there. Uh, you were looking at potentially a, a very high, uh, underdog to be able to win the MVC and ends up being northern Iowa. Uh, as Belmont was plus a dollar 55 is the one seed to win that conference tournament. They do not get that home. Uh, Ohio Valley, Tennessee state. They were the top seed. They take care of business there in Evansville, Indiana and the summit league. They've at
North Dakota state, uh, a little interstate rivalry there when North Dakota, North Dakota was 35 the one. You want to talk about what have been a Cinderella story? Uh, nope. Uh, it ends up being the top choice. Uh, North Dakota state. Congratulations. Come on down. You champions of the summit league conference tournament. Yeah, we're going to have Will Hill on, uh, later on in, uh, hour number two coming up here. I'm curious his thoughts there on Queens University because I think that's a school he had targeted as well, uh, if memory serves here. So again, 390 to get into the big dance and they do punch their ticket to get that done today. We're going to punch some more tickets at least get closer and some and others are going to just begin here on a Monday, Jensen. Uh, what are you looking at today? All right. In the SWAC conference at Gateway Center Arena College Park, Georgia, Second Street year, uh, that they've had that there. Adam Burke, uh, our esteem managing editor giving us a little bit of a breakdown on on this one. So seeds nine through 12 will play
in that first round. Seeds seven and eight in the second round. The top six get buys to the quarter finals. The one in two seeds would would be Bethune Cookman and Florida A&M. They will play on Wednesday. So again, this championship game will be on Saturday, March 14th at 730. Uh, right now, uh, the favorite or at least the betting choice that Adam Burke gives us here. He will go with the top team in Bethune Cookman upwards of a plus 240 shop around for your best price overall. Some betting trends from Steve Macanam, uh, very chalky. He says over the last eight years, favorites of three points or more Dave, 37 and nine straight up, 30, 14 and two against the number. That's good for over a 68% cover percentage and put a pin in this number. Semifinal favorites in the swag tournament, 18 and three straight up, 14, six and one, ATS, 70% cover
percentage. That's over a decade of data. Uh, so that gives you a nice little precursor here with the opening a handful of days as we open up the swag tournament today. Uh, very interesting again. And one of the point that we should make here, we've been making it here in the network that when you're a decent pro subscriber, they're going to have write-ups on every one of these games two hours before tip off. So if you're looking for the latest and greatest information, Adam Burke and the boys going to have you covered at Vison.com. So make sure right now, a madness week, you want to get on some of these games. You haven't been watching maybe the big sky all year. They're going to make you informed and a better, better before you blindly throw darts here. People do not bet that way. Please, if you're taking this thing seriously. So again, become a V some pro subscriber. You're going to have access to all of those, uh, those games before they tip off. By the way, very quickly, I've been looking at this in my alma mater, VCU, get a nice win against Dayton, uh, before we got to weekend play here. And I'm looking at some of
these odds to make March madness, to make it to the big dance. And my alma mater right now, Jensen with that wind at Dayton has now flipped to a favorite at minus a dollar 80 to make the NCAA tournament. And I guess what this gets down to, we start to look at some of these betting markets that you have available to you is, can the A 10 be a multi bid week? Like we'll talk about some of these smaller leagues and conferences here in their conference tournament, Jensen. I think that's the question is that when you're looking at some of these specific markets for smaller tournaments this week, are we, are we past the big boys of saying, all right, you got to get the most from the SEC and, and, you know, whatever, whatever the ACC is this incarnation of it, the big 10, obviously, the big 12, those are clear power conferences. What about weeks like my A 10, if you will, for VCU? Should they be multiple bid weeks? Where are we now in that landscape of? I think that the little guys can compete on the big boy tournament.
To be fascinating to see that argument is everybody, uh, at least internally once expansion there, that is not for you. That's right. That is to get the 16 and 15s of Auburn University into the tournament. Ironically, you bring up your alma mater in VCU, our managing editor, Adam Burke doing a great write up on the A 10 conference tournament, which gets underway on Wednesday, PPG, Paine Serena and Pittsburgh home of the Pittsburgh Penguins. They have not hosted the A 10 tournament, Dave, since 2017. Top four seeds get buys to the quarterfinals and VCU will be that number two seed headed in the top seed, the St. Louis Billikins who I identified as a chaos candidate. I think they get in regardless of what happens, but Adam actually likes your VCU boys at plus $1.80 to win the tournament here. So interesting to see what happens. A couple of Steve McAnon betting trends to keep an eye on Atlantic 10 favorites, Dave, a 23 and five straight
up run in the quarter final round and 28 against the number. That's almost a 71 and a half percent cover percentage. So your favorite in the A 10 life has been pretty good for you. So anxious to see this get underway in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania beginning on Wednesday afternoon. What that tells me is that my Rams, if they win one game and get to the finals of the A 10 they're in that that's where the betting market tells me at minus $1.80 very quickly just kind of in that same context Santa Clara that we talked about three and a half with dogs here in the WCC semi finals today in Las Vegas. They are minus $1.40 to make the NCAA tournament. So we think St. Mary's Gonzaga obviously are locks to get in. That's telling us that if they lose in the semi finals to St. Mary's Santa Clara at minus $1.40 they're going to be a three-bid league in the WCC gents because that's what the betting market's telling me right now. Fascinating, right?
We obviously know that you know you're you're playing for seating here if you're St. Mary's Gonzaga kind of kind of be locked. I don't know much more improvement you can get from Gonzaga. It'll be interesting to see no question about it. And I guess also it gives the implication that they're only three and a half point dogs tonight, right? That if they win that game against St. Mary Santa Clara regardless of what would happen in the WCC final would then get a third bid league here from the WCC. Much would get to including the changing numbers in the NFL because big moves are made. You can legally tamper now kids. We'll talk about that next right here.
