From the Daily News Now Network, this is Lester News today. Residents in Wixston, Lestershire are upset over a serial car vandal targeting vehicles on Willow Park Drive. Last Sunday, March 8, three cars parked for nearby kids football match got deep scratches. Two were Teslas, with repair bills up to 2,500 pounds and 500 pounds, and the third was a BMW. The street sees heavy parking every Sunday morning from matches at Willow Park Fields. The onsite lot holds only about 20 cars, so around 100 more spill onto nearby roads like Willow Park Drive causing ongoing disputes. Locals say the parking chaos blocks driveways and makes it hard to get around, but they agree vandalism crosses the line. Parents insist they parked legally with no restrictions or blocked access and nothing excuses the damage. Dascam footage caught a man carrying a newspaper as he scratched the cars one by one and walked off. Neighbors report similar attacks before, including one before Christmas, so some avoid parking there now.

Police are investigating with neighborhood patrols and reviewing CCTV. They urge anyone with info to call 101. Support for this day and in episode comes from our sponsor. You know what is better than earbuds in bed? No earbuds at all. S-o-l-i-soli-pillow.com
