This is the what are we doing Philly's post game show world baseball classic edition. Here's your host Kevin Flannery other than Nick Eaton the game was okay. The USA beats up on Great Britain very easily honestly nine to two nine to one the USA pretty much destroys this great Britain team and does it in dominating fashion. This was nothing like the game we watched last night with all the walks. Nothing like that. This was a beat down of the Great Britain team and it started off. It was a little bit of a struggle to get going but once the US got going 5th 6th and 7th inning 5 runs in the 5th 3 in the 6th and 1 in the 7th

and the US was just all over them once the US got the lead that was it Gunner Henderson a great day from Gunner Henderson had some of the greatest at bats that I've seen yet. This guy's at bats he had one at bat in the 5th inning with the bases loaded. He's like falling off pitch after pitch after pitch just staying alive. Gunner Henderson another great good thing about this lineup is they rolled out a different lineup today. They rolled out Schwarber in the lead off spot. Braggman at the two hole Aaron Judge 3 Harper 4 Smith 5 Will Smith 5 Gunner Henderson 6 Roman Anthony 7 Ernie Clement 8 and Pete Crow Armstrong 9 Gunner Henderson's 4 for 5 with an 800 batting average in the World Baseball Classic. Aaron Judge 1 for 5 but every time the ball goes off Aaron Judge's bat I don't know how you don't think okay that one's gone. That one's gone okay that one's gone. It's fascinating to me how you could sit there and be like watch him on your team and I know we watch Schwarber who hit a tank today.

Kyle Schwarber hit a blast in the 5th inning on a 2-1 count when a runner on 3rd base and it put the USA in the lead off spot. The USA in the lead and this thing was cranked. It was one of Schwarber's big home runs that he'll have to remember for a while. He's a hit now two home runs a great against Great Britain in the last six in the last three years. Last time in the World Baseball Classic he hit a home run against them. Some other really crazy things are they like Louisa rise hit two home runs today. Louisa rise for Venice well dude doesn't hit that many home runs it's two in one day also big day for the World Baseball Classic. Ever since the history of the World Baseball Classic there were never any walkoff home runs and now here today there were two walkoff home runs in one day. Fascinating to me in one day there's two walkoff home runs and there's like 27 years of this tournament and there's no home run. There's no walkoffs and there's a walkoff home run in two games today.

Aussie all be cleared the deck for one and then one came in the bottom of the 10th inning in the Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico Panama game which was a sell out crowd a great game in 10 innings. Japan almost lost today they won eight to six and Taipei currently is playing Korea and Taipei is winning two to one. There is no USA game tomorrow. Otherwise also pitching wise Scooble allowed a first pitch home run to Adam Eaton. I think it is no neat and neat. He went three for four with an infield single in the third a single in the ninth and a solo home run in the first inning to get the great Britain on the board and then the US scored nine unanswered. Other than that Chisholm was over four Harry Ford over three. They didn't have many hits. They only got three hits in the game. The pitching for the US was dominant today. Scooble after allowing the home run went three innings allowed one more hit. Walked nobody and struck out five.

Clay Holmes struck out six in three innings. David Bednar got two strikeouts. Griffin Jacks got two strikeouts and now Philly Brad Keller got two strikeouts. The game was pretty dominated. USA did a very good job in this game offensively defensively and just got to kill the ball again. It's a big time blast by the USA team. Let's make a quick note on the Philly's game today. Andrew Painter pitched three innings, one hit, one walk, no strikeouts. Every one of our projected opening day starters that played today when hitless though Garcia got two walks. The team got a total of two hits and lost 0-1 nothing. Not great if you're a Philly's fan like Philly's wise but if you're a Philly's fan watching Schwarber hit the home run today, Harper got a run scored today. So like that's a positive but if you're looking at Philly's fan basically Andrew Painter did well but the Philly's in general played a really terrible spring training game.

I didn't get to watch any of it but like turn it in, do anything, Mars didn't do anything, bomb didn't do anything. Garcia again two walks, JT didn't do anything, stop didn't do anything. None of these guys did anything. Stop still is a 1.167 OPS but you know that's a price and stop. Andrew Painter pitched in innings or allowed a hit in a walk. Alvarado went in inning a hit and two strikeouts. Tanner Banks, DeRon got two strikeouts, allowed a hit and McCambley, Harper and Cabrera finished it out. And Mac sure is a pitch for the Blue Jays. Went four innings, one strikeout, one walk. And the Blue Jays only mustered up one run on a Lafayette, Raphael Antigua. If you recognize that name, former Philly's player, drove in a run. So with that being said, tomorrow the Philly's game, Philly's will play tomorrow. We will not have, I will be on, after that game is game on MLBTV. You can watch if you want it. Battle between some ERAs right here. Alan Rangel will go for the Philly's. He is 0-1 with a 9.64 ERA and a 2.36 Whip in four innings.

And then Woods Richardson for the twins is 0-1 with a 9 ERA in seven innings, allowing 14 hits, no home runs and seven innings. So should be an interesting one. See if the Philly's come out on top. I'll be on after that game, maybe day game Cleveland will join me. I wonder, I don't know for sure. But we will see. I will see all of you tomorrow with a normal post game show in the USA. We'll be back on Monday night. Have a great night.
