He's paying attention to one of the largest contracts that WSDOT will undertake soon, the bridge form Vancouver WA to Portland OR that will cost over five billion dollars. Completed projects include, the Black Panther Park in Skyway, the mural in front of the old Panther office, the Interpretative Center that will be housed in the Metropole Building on Second and Yesler. And the Carolyn Downs Medical Clinic on East Yesler Way is the last standing Black Panther Party medical clinic in the country.. *Jazmyn Scott, Director, ARTE NOIR her organization celebrates and sustains Black art, artists, and culture by cultivating inclusive spaces, fostering opportunities and honoring community alongside the diversity and vitality of Black creativity. This past Sunday she hosted the Seattle King County Branch NAACP Afro Cultural Scientific Olympics (ACTSO) winners that will compete at the NAACP National Convention on July 17 & 18 in Chicago. *Randolph Cross of Seattle's Royal Esquire Club comments on the activities from the past month and invites you to the club's very popular First Friday.
