科學其實在我們的生活當中無所不在
所以我們更應該要更貼近和了解科學，才不致被科學所主宰
那麼什麼才叫做「科普教育」呢？我們又該如何精進自己呢？
科普教育並非要讓民眾成為科學家或準科學家，
而是要讓大家更貼近科學，才不致被科學所主宰，甚至被偽科學所霸凌。
而科學家參與科普工作，更不是一種個人選擇，而是社會責任。
科普教育在21世紀的新元素包括開放科學、開放課程、公民科學等，
以及防堵偽科學的科學媒體中心，
其中的公民科學更可讓民眾透過網路來融入各領域的科學發展和探索。
