A great teacher once explained the essence of meditation using the example of a frog. Though a humble creature, the frog meditates with unwavering focus and faith. It sits patiently underground, praying for rain, trusting that nature will fulfill its need. This waiting, filled with faith and endurance, is itself meditation. If humans develop such a nature—steady, devoted, and patient—they too can attain what they seek. True meditation is not just sitting still, but waiting with trust for the higher truth to reveal itself. And one who meditates with such noble intent leads a noble life.
