今天這句俗諺 「 入人門，順人意」( Ji̍p lâng mn̂g, sūn lâng ì. )是什麼意思呢？
答案是:女子出嫁後，要順從丈夫及翁姑之意。
俗語講:「會做新婦兩頭瞞，袂曉做的兩頭湠」，瞞是瞞騙；湠是四界傳，兩頭就是大家官佮後頭厝這兩爿。仝一件代誌，仝口灶的人就無一定有相仝的看法，外口的人更加免講，所以做新婦的人，「入人門，順人意」、「大家有話，新婦無喙」，既然有緣嫁入去人兜，成做一家人，咱就愛珍惜這種緣份。俗語嘛有另外一句:「一人看出一家，新婦看出大家」，就是講新婦的所作所為，佮大家嘛有誠大的關係。做大家的人較有經驗，愛共鋩角教予新婦知，
