In South India, near the entrance of a sacrificial ceremony, the god of death, Yamaraja, cast a stern glance, which caused a parrot to become distressed. Nearby, Garuda, known for his kind heart and helpful nature, understood the reason behind the parrot's sorrow. He swiftly carried the parrot across thousands of leagues to the caves of Mount Sumeru and returned. Later, as Yamaraja emerged from the sacrificial ceremony, he expressed curiosity to Garuda about how the parrot would meet its fate in the depths of Sumeru's caves through a cat. Garuda then narrated the entire sequence of events. A story of destiny and divine intervention.
