Long ago, due to the overflowing waters of the Kaushiki River, many villages became deserted. A poor farmer and his family also suffered hardships and considered leaving their village. One day, while going out for his morning routine, the farmer spotted a crow perched on a barren mango tree. He wondered, ‘Even this crow refuses to abandon the dry tree. Are we, as humans, weaker than a mere bird?’. Realizing this, his family abandoned their plan to leave. They stayed back, worked diligently on their land, and over time, their efforts bore fruit. The farmer regained prosperity and lived a life of contentment in the same village.
