想要挑戰能飛得多高，身為田徑選手，陳重宇熱愛撐竿跳時飛翔的感覺，從2009年臺北聽奧第七名、2013年保加利亞聽奧獲得銀牌、2017年土耳其聽奧銅牌，2022年巴西聽奧再度獲得銀牌，也持續訓練將眼光放在2025年的東京聽障奧運，希望再度奪牌讓選手生涯更圓滿。
運動的路上，先天聽障的陳重宇也曾經因為自己身體上的限制而卻步，但他用跳躍迎向挑戰，爭取榮耀，更鼓勵特殊生不要放棄運動，今天的節目來到新北市明志國中，拜訪陳重宇以及他的啟蒙教練楊木輝，聽見特殊生如何用堅毅「撐」出一天片。
