今天這句俗諺 「忍氣求財，激氣相刣 」(Lún-khì kiû tsâi, kik-khì sio-thâi. )是什麼意思呢？
答案是:忍一時之氣可以求得財利，意氣用事可能招致糾紛，甚至互相殺伐。比喻和氣生財。
遮爾濟人客當中，加減會有一寡漚客，姑不二三將拄著啊，嘛是愛忍耐，用笑容面對漚客，就算伊閣按怎抝蠻，兇拳無拍笑面人，所以祖先共咱教講:「人無笑面免開店」，欲做生理一定愛有笑面。總講一句，「忍氣求財，激氣相刣」，忍耐是做生理絕對愛有的本領，忍耐久就贏，尾仔才趁會著財富。毋但做生理愛忍，做人做事嘛愛忍，忍耐忍耐，萬事排解:不忍不耐，小事成大。
