A foolish, arrogant, short-tempered, and indulgent king imposed heavy taxes on his subjects. One day, his two sons, while riding, fell off their horses. Seeing them, people refused to help them, saying, ‘Your father oppresses us. Leave this place!’. As the two continued on their journey, they came across a wounded, impoverished boy struck by a bull. The people compassionately treated his injuries and brought him home. Upon returning to the palace, they informed the king of what had transpired. Hearing this, the king realized his mistakes and began efforts to earn his people's goodwill. Reforming his governance with wisdom, he became a revered ruler, known as Chalukya Emperor Vikramaditya VI.
