Once, a wise man was ready to share his rare wisdom with anyone who wished to receive it. He announced that whoever wanted it must pay four thousand gold coins. Hearing this, a king invited the wise man to his court, honored him, and offered the gold coins to receive the special knowledge. The wise man then shared four life principles based on his own experiences. After hearing them, the king became deeply thoughtful. The wise man then returned the money to the king and said it should be given to the poor. With that, he quietly departed.
