In Assam, a scholar named Chandicharan Tarkalankar used to teach his students at his home. His daughter, Dravamayi, who was widowed early in life, came to live in her father's house. She began studying Sanskrit, and within a short time, she gained exceptional knowledge. Later, due to her father's old age and poor health, he thought of closing the school. However, the girl rejected this idea and decided to take up teaching herself. She took on the responsibility and successfully increased the reputation of the school.
