Paul, how are you? No estate, just a basement, no windows. Eventually, they let me out once in a while. Well, at least there's not bars on the windows. That I know. Anyway, episode number

2:1012, Paul, of the first ever United Collegiate Hockey Cup Podcasts. It ended tonight. Again, what would you expect? It went over time. These games were so competitive. We talked about it at the beginning of this way back in January that the teams coming in were going to be competitive and it was beyond belief. I mean, if people didn't show up and there was a good crowd tonight, I'll give them a lot of credit for that. I think half of Fairbanks, so I joked with Eric Larrigan. I said, did somebody turn the lifes off from Fairbanks because I think everybody is here. So he kind of got a kick out of that. Well, and here's the thing, right? Like each day, it was like the script repeated itself. Somebody scored a goal in like the last 10 seconds or 15 seconds. It's the Sunday game, no. One point one second. I mean, all these smokes. I mean,

3:19sorry about that. If you, and honestly, we did not expect these games to be any other way. No, you're correct. The way the way these teams play, they're just so tight and so competitive. And there's a lot of teams that are playing in real, quote, air quotes there, conferences that probably wouldn't want to play these teams right now. No, every one of them really was bought into it. They wanted this meant a lot to matter. They wanted to win this matter. Especially since it was the first one. Yeah, exactly. I don't even remember. I'm trying to look back at game one. It was just a few hours ago. And I'm going like, I don't remember what happened in game one. I can see it here. Here are the only, and again, the only negative is somehow they got to make

4:20some sort of ask for some sort of waiver from the NCA to allow this. If it's not a conference situation to allow it to be played as if it was a conference tournament and have those over time to be regular over times, the only thing missing. That was the only thing missing. Yeah, right. The first game saw two of they called themselves rivals already, Long Island and Stonehill. Played for the sixth time. It ended up being a Long Island win, which gave them a three and three record against Stonehill this year. Boy, there's a shock, right? Dead even record. This one, Noah Suddackney, the former Colorado college player who went to AIC, found out that the program at AIC was being cut and went along with Brendan Riley over to Long Island, scored twice again, twice last night, twice tonight. And it looked like

5:27his second goal at 12.08 to the third period was going to be good enough. But then guess what, Paul? Matthew Romer. Matthew Romer showed up and scored at 1935, given them 25 seconds to try to tie this thing. And it just wasn't meant to be for Stonehill. But Long Island, they came off, they played very solid the entire game. Here's your shot total, Paul. 28 for Stonehill and 28 for Long Island. They're getting more even than that. Again, like just every night, both of these games, I mean, I don't think. If you look at any of these games and any of the three nights, I mean, just every game, right? I mean,

6:31Lyndon Wood with a one goal win on Thursday. And even the three nothing win from Stonehill over Anchorage, right? It was one nothing late. Stonehill didn't take it to nothing lead until midway through the third period. So it was a one nothing game for a lot of the game. Both games on Friday went to overtime, right? And both games tonight, L.I.U. wins the game. You know, Stonehill gets an extra attack or goal late in the games, they're still in it, right? I mean, basically, it's a one goal game till about two-thirds of the way through the third period. And of course, the championship game goes to overtime as it should. I mean, I don't want as it rightfully should have just the way that went. That one ended very quickly,

7:32by the way, 24 seconds in. But anyway, let me let me play the sound from the first game. I've got Brendan Riley and one of his captains, Casey MacDonald. I think you like which here. Yeah, it was a great hockey game. Another one that got a little hairy came down to the wire. But at the end of the day, the result is what we were most focused on today. I thought it was awesome that we can send our team off with the win. And then we can two in one against a really good team. So third place is better than fourth place. I'm proud of our seniors, proud of our team when we played tonight, but we're really proud of our seniors and guys like Casey, I said to the team, loyalty is hard to come by nowadays in college sports. It's a guy who I've coached for four straight years now came here as a transfer and got a captain vote from every single player. So I think that speaks volumes of him as a person and

8:32a leader. So I'm really proud to be sitting next to him right now. Yeah, I thought we had a good game. It's obviously tough. We played three games in three days. It's tough from the bodies and mentally, but it just shows the resiliency in our group we had. We came out and we gave it everything we had and yeah, we ended off with a win. So we're fortunate with that. Yeah, I didn't know what to expect if I'm being really honest with you. I was expecting a little let down yesterday, today, maybe, but yeah, it's a real credit to our guys like to be able to just strap them on one more time and play for each other. I think that was really cool to see today and I think they deserve it. It was a good season for us. Not a lot of people gave us a

9:33chance with 80% of our scoring from last year being gone. So it was a quick rebuild and I think there's a lot we can hang our hat on and I'm proud of the way we finished this weekend and two. Yeah, I think it's more the same like our guys. That's not an easy game to play in. Obviously three a second concentration game, but with it being against Stonehill, who's our biggest rival we've talked about yesterday, that kind of gave us a little bit of an extra jolt and I thought we we were probably the fresher team. It looked maybe their heartbreak was a little more recent than ours. So who knows that could have played a factor, but yeah, our guys played well today. Casey, what does it say about the leadership that you and your teammates have? You have such a veteran group of guys that have stuck it out with a new coach and really persevered at the end.

10:37Yeah, I mean, it's been great. Ever since we came in on day one, you could just feel that we were such a tight group and we played so much on the road this year that it just helped our group gel and come together so much that in tough times like this, like three games and three days, it's just a second nature to us and we just put our heads down and go to work and go to result that we wanted tonight. Last night you left a little early. It looked like tonight you wanted to make up for it. Fair? Yeah, for sure. I mean, it's just a tough play. That's hockey, things haven't quick and yeah, just very fortunate to get out of the chance today to lift my brothers and get a big win. What will you take away from this season as a senior and with Coach Riley and just a legacy that you'll leave at Long Island? Yeah, I mean, it's great. Like, Rallye's touched on earlier. This is my fourth year with him. So, you know, you obviously have a great relationship and he brought me over which I'm very thankful for it. We've grown a lot. It's our relationship together this year with everything being new to both of us and learning off each other and just,

11:42yeah, trying to steer the ship in a very direction for our group. Brendan, you talk a little bit about this week what it's been like of the experience to be in here. This is awesome. I want to thank Lyndon Wood for putting this on and hosting us. It's been it's been flawless. So, it's such a cool experience for all five teams to come together and play. I think the future is really, really bright for us five and hopefully we can take the next step relatively soon towards a conference or whatever that might be, but yeah, it was a really cool event to be able to just see the other team be around them all weekend and yeah, it was a good weekend hockey. Every game was close for the most part. So, you know, there's a couple buzzer meters too. So, I know the fans got their money. So, did you look back now at the season you wrapped up with Richard here? You looked back at the season, obviously. Probably not there, just yet to really wrap it up there, a little bit, or a lot of the winter season for you guys, just having a program, obviously. I appreciate seeing a lot of these players as well.

12:47What do you have the thoughts on the season and how it's going to come to an end here, because that button comes up in this final year as well? Yeah, it's a little fresh. I think maybe by the end of next week, I can start to maybe reflect a little bit. I just feel a lot of relief right now and try for our seniors, guys like Daniel Baldassara, who were here for four years. He was next to me the other day, like he's been in and out of the lineup as a four-year senior, yet he shows up this weekend and was our best player in pretty much two of the three games. So, and then the AIC guys for being loyal, a guy like Trevor Griebel, who just needed an opportunity coming over from Merrimack, and now he's our meeting point guy on the back end. So, really, really proud of our seniors. I want to make it about them. Sure, there is a lot of cool things we did this year, but a lot of it, or I should say all of it, is thanks to them. The best thing you can do as a coach is surround yourself with other good leaders, and our seniors certainly did that.

13:51There you go, Paul. Brendan Riley, as you would expect, one of the class act. I mean, I keep forgetting that this guy is not very old, and in his first year as a head coach in NCAA hockey, and carries himself so well, it's no wonder his team follows. Well, listen, the coach sets the home. Even, you know, the coach does get the equipment on, doesn't get the play, but the coach sets the tone, and doesn't matter what the level is. But, you know, it's, you know, he's got, you know, he picked up where his cousin left off, and, you know, hopefully some of the things that have been discussed come to fruition quickly, and, you know, nothing but things going up for them.

14:55And all these teams to be honest. Yeah, true. Speaking of another class act as hard as it is when you lose a overtime championship game in the first 24 seconds of the overtime, and then you still come out and meet the media. Here's Keith Fisher after losing the championship game to the Alaska Nanooks. Kind of credit for coming back in the third period. I mean, we're all over them. First two periods, we just can fund the back of the event. I thought we had a lot of really good looks. I want to give our administrators a ton of credit. This was an unbelievable event for the two athletes, and I thought we had a great crowd here tonight. It was a lot of fun. It was a big time college hockey game, and a great atmosphere for us to be able to. Coach, what more could you have done? Like you said, you shot them badly. I thought you

15:57all played them defensively in the first period, and yet you find yourself going to overtime. I mean, after the first period, I thought that was one of our better periods in a long time, and I mean, that happens in hockey sometimes. They find the back of that new goal. That happens. I thought, and the looks we're getting where I thought, you know, big, 10 great A's, and that happens in this game. And for most of the year, it's gone our way, and it's not anything. You always have a different set of guys that step up. It seems like tonight, it was pleasure and fun. They just wouldn't die with it. You just look at the depth of the lineup, and I think that's huge to have success in college hockey. I think they did a good job of shutting down our top line, even though they had some great looks too, and just can find the back of the net. But I thought that was a big time goal by Z2 to get us going there, and then great for the face off play by Fletching LB there. You know, to start scoring, to start to come back

17:03there in the third, but we need depth scoring this time of year. And I think that really helps. We can roll four lines, and each line is really, really dependable. What can you take away from this weekend to build for the future? It looks like your young roster will have a lot of experience coming away from this week. Yeah, I mean, I told their guys like, you know, I'm proud of them, how they fought back, and that this could be the start of something really special here. Tell me, guys, we can come back. The majority of our scoring can come back, but it's going to get harder. When it was not going to sneak up on anybody anymore, it's going to be harder, but that's the fun part of it getting harder. So, you know, that we're going on spring break here this week, and then we'll say, get back on Monday, we're going to start working on things from next year, and we're going to get better. It's going to get harder, but we are going to get better.

18:15Yeah, I thought you played real well. You know, when they scored the third one, that one kind of deflated us. We need to get into the second career break there, you know, but coming on for the third period, that would play great. You know, did all we could do to tie it up, and that's what the effort you want are your guys. You know, so I give you guys a lot of credit for just sticking with it, you remember themselves in St. Paul's, and you're on the bench all night, and we'll be able to get us to overtime. Well, the good thing here is like, those guys had a ton of opportunity, and they took advantage of their opportunity. No, we're Jacob didn't know where he'd want to slip by himself in the line up for only the season.

19:19We did that scoring a big game when we go out at Lake State, and the next week he scored a big game when we go against Denver, and all of that gave him a ton of confidence, but just having the opportunity here, you know, really catapult those guys and they took advantage of it, but it wasn't just him. I mean, you look at our young guys, and then our first time considerably college hockey players, and you look at, we'll be a who came along the way, too, you know, no savvy, you can go up and down the line up with all these guys, LP, but then the theater, you know, Jakes LK, what kind of anchoring and helping those guys fletch along the way. So, you know, on San Diego, it's come along, which we've been as long as this year, and I think we're going to be guys, it's going to be a great player for us. So, that's a strong, strong freshman class, and they're just going to get better and better as their careers go on. All right, Paul. As I said, class act in Keith Fisher,

20:20you and I have talked to him several times. You know, let's remember that he came into this program as the head coach in April. Yeah, and put it together. And man, that freshman class that he talks about is dynamic. If he can add, and I have no doubt that he will add to that group. Oh, my goodness. He won senior, and that's a Drew Kusma. That's his only senior. So, you look at the teams that were playing here. You have a veteran team in Long Island. You have a veteran team in Fairbanks, Alaska. And you have kind of a middle of the road team in Anchorage, and then two young teams, I think, in Stonehill and Long Island, are living in wood. So, it's kind of a neat balance, but boy, it does not stop the competitiveness. Well, Anchorage,

21:21just, it's not like they don't have a lot of young guys. They just have a few more seniors than the other teams. Right? I mean, it's not like those teams are just flooded with people that are now out of eligibility. Yeah, let's say they're kind of middle of the road. They've got a nice blend, whereas Brendan Riley is going to really have to do some recruiting because he's losing seven guys, seven seniors. Yeah, he is. There's no question about that. But again, not as hard to replace those guys as he used to be. Yeah, I mean, the portal, obviously. But I think this kind of put them on the map too. I mean, people were taking a look now. If you had a flow hockey, you had a chance to take a look. You understood that they were competing for championship. It didn't matter what the name of the championship was. They were competing for one. Okay, let's hear from the successful head coach,

22:24the winning head coach, Eric Largan, and one of his players. You hold on. Okay, yeah, no, I want a hockey game, right? What a way to finish the tournament. Gosh, Lyndon would play an fantastic game. He gave us everything we had. Coming back from 3-1 down, they did a great job. But just again, the resiliency of our group just to be able to find a way. You know, even when they came back and tied it up, it just felt like Ben stayed in a really good spot. And obviously, the guy sitting next to me makes a big time play there to finish it off. So I'm just really proud of the guys happy for them. And just really happy the way that this tournament set up, regardless of the outcome and nowhere on the right side of it. But I think it's a great first step for our grouping of teams. And just looking forward to this continuing in the future. I think it's obviously a new sport that they will learn there. That will be a good start.

23:25Crazy kind of real right now, I don't really know how to describe it. A lot of emotions going on right now. I'm just so proud of the guys and our coaching staff. We've put in so many hours, and it's just so nice to take off tonight. So, so thankful. Eric, what's the key to getting off to a fast start? Like you guys seem to do every period. What did you do to fire them up? Not really anything. They do a great job of firing themselves up. So they've got, we've had some great starts. I mean, we've been playing some really good hockey, coming into this tournament. I think it's continued into the tournament. And now I got to figure out how to figure out those two goalweeds, right? So that's in the field you see all there. But no, I just think the guys are ready to play. They're just so excited. They just, you can just feel the energy in the room. I think it was for both sides. Both teams really wanted to win. You just saw the desperation and urgency by Lyndon Wood in that final 10 minutes.

24:40This tournament started for you on Friday. But it seems to me like it started for you a few weeks ago. When you guys built up and got that number one seed. So for both of you, how important was that to gain that number one seed? I thought it was important. I think the guys played hard for it. But again, it's just more sticking with our process and going game in a game out. And where we finished, we finished. And it just worked out that we were the one seed. I don't think it would have mattered tonight. I should think it was one of those games where there's going to be one extra break, one extra bounce, one amazing play from a player, one amazing save. And we just got the last one tonight. Chase Field? Yeah, I think we've been playing some really good hockey ever since Christmas break. It was good enough to reset for us. I feel like our group just came back because they had a group with a different mindset. And I think we've just grown so much through fully ups and downs. And it's led us to this moment. And again, like I said, it paid off tonight.

25:41We're fortunate enough to get that way. And it just feels so good because in all the hard we've worked all year. I guess it's super, super thankful for this group. And the guys that we have in that locker room. Did somebody turn the lights off from Fairbanks? I think everybody showed up down here. What a crowd you guys had. And how much did that help you guys? Yeah, it's amazing. I mean, it seems like every away game we have some traveling fans. Again, it just, it means so much. It just speaks to the community that we have in Fairbanks. It's hard to explain because they're just so supportive. And it's just a true family atmosphere there. And again, it's, I spent three years up there. And it's been the best three years of my life. And I've met so many amazing people there. And I can be more thankful to Coach Larger to forgive me this opportunity. Because it's, again, it's been the best three years. I mean, some amazing friendships that are going to last for my entire life. It is going to be a good winner and a workman there. And that's the plan to kind of make you push.

26:44What do you say about a loss of light? You're openers and plenty of people leave. You keep on the big career. And you get to be at the most. Yeah, I just put into the rock of our team, right? And it's the backbone. So I'll just continue to again tonight. Made some timely saves for us. Some big saves. And I just thought of you as mental mindset was really good tonight. And it didn't seem like he was rattle after giving up any of the goals. And just had that next shot mentality. So all the credit in the world they have. And he just, he's a pro and just handled himself. And the right way and made some huge saves for us. And just happy for him. And then it's on the right side of it. Absolutely got to use every part of the tractor. So the trophy going back in first class, or will you guys pass it around in coach? It's got to go first class. I think I can have that thing. No, no, we're just excited. We're excited for this event. I would just say to you, I think we'd be remiss if we didn't say just thank Lyndon Wood too.

27:50I just want just for the hosting this tournament, for all the work that they put in. I know how much difference these types of events are. It's a lot of work. I thought it was fantastic. I was so excited for what this can turn into, what this can build. But it doesn't, it doesn't happen without a start, right? Just the way that they did it, all professional. And that's the way that their team handled themselves tonight. Being out there for the trophy presentation to speech. So what coach bishops all about and what that team's all about. And we're looking forward to continuing this intense rivalry going forward in the future too. Okay, yeah, not. All right, Paul, that head coach Eric Largan and Captain Chase Defoe talking about the win. Not surprised, I'm sure of their comments. No, I'm not, I mean, again, it's exactly what you expected. I just, you know, we again, we knew that this tournament was going to be what it was.

28:54I think it said a good tone and a good example of, you know, with what it can become in the future. I mean, if this is what it is now, just imagine what this would be like with, say, one to three more teams and knowing that at least for a while, if this was, you know, a chance for an AQ, just how much more intense, if it's even possible, be more intense than these games were. And I know it might sound like hyperbole. I'm not unaware of, of, of, you know, of, of what it sounds like.

29:57But, you know, it just sounds like, you know, again, we're sitting here talking about games that were just agonizingly, maybe not agonizing, it might not be the right word. I don't know, but it just seems like dramatic would definitely be the right word. Yes. As you've your seat would be a nice for us. Yes, I mean, all of those things, you know, all of those things are, are fitting for what, you know, for what this was. And, you know, I just, you got to see some good stuff, some intensive. And these are rivalries. And let's just, you know, and the way that it came out and the way that it was approached,

31:05you know, I'm, I'm going to sit here and say like, let's just say in four or five years, these teams go their own way. They're going to, they're going, they're going to have played so much for the time that gets here or that happens. You're, they're just going to be, you know, they're, they're just going to stay rivals. I, I don't really see it any other way. Yeah, you're 100% correct. A couple of side notes before we say goodnight. Tonight, three players from the St. Louis area have an opportunity to play. One of them, Tyler Lockman plays four Lindenwood. So he's right at home anyway playing here. But the other two, and one you'll be very familiar with Blake Dengos. I'm going to have to visit with very happy for a time at Long Island.

32:08And very happy to be able to come and close out is the NCAA career in his hometown of the St. Louis City practice in the summertime on this ice all the time. He was familiar with it. The other one, Goldtender Conner, Andro Leavage from, from Stonehill. Conner, fifth year guy that came over from, I think, Maine to Stonehill and backbone their team to, to really good success and coach Barard will tell you that. He was a big piece. One of the first that he called when he got the job as a matter of fact, he told me that he think, he thinks, if you remember correctly, he called him on his graduation day. And hey, well, you got a year or less eligibility you want to come here. So I mean, that's how this stuff works. But I'm pretty impressed with it. There's just so many different storylines. The French connection line at Lindenwood, all freshmen. Oh, okay, let's calm down with that, by the way.

33:10Well, they are. They're the French connection. They're all French. Yeah, I know. But they're not Jill Bear for role, Renee Robert. Did I say that? I just said they were the French connection. That's all I said. And then you look at the seniors from, from Long Island. And man, all of them got showered and dressed and came up looking good. And sat down with me for about six, seven minutes. You can get it on our ex account. While it was impressive. Just how classy they are. You know how hard it is to get eight people together? To try to take a photo and do interviews. They passed the mic around. They told their name and where they were from and what Long Island meant to them. They said the only thing that was missing was none of them had been able to get to the estate. What a state. I told them. I said, you know, maybe we can make that work before you guys graduate to spring. What a state. They all want to go by the, yeah, exactly.

34:10That's what they were saying. What in the state? I wish we could see. No, no, no, no, no. What the state? It's not an exclamation. It's a question to more. Anyway, congratulations to everybody involved in this tournament. All five teams. Of course, Lyndon Wood, Jason Kumer, Jamison Adams. Everybody that was putting this all all together, it was fantastic. They did a really good job. The first time doing this and they didn't know what to expect. But yet they just, they basically won off Lollis and you know, I think it's going to be a great place. Everybody liked it. There's a hotel close. It's a center of the country. So it's good for everybody to get to. You know, other teams said, yeah, we can't do it. We can't host. Nobody's going to come to Alaska for this. So we can't host it. Long Island said that they would like to host it, but didn't think they could. And Stonehill doesn't have their building yet.

35:10So they're all excited about coming back. They want to be a part of this again. Congratulations to the first time winners, the Alaska Nanooks. They're all star gold tender. Lassie Levy came over with the cup by me and he looked at me and goes, man, this thing is heavy. That's good. So I asked if it's going back first class. They told me probably not. They'll probably just carry it around. I probably will. Now it'll be, I assume that next year will be a 16. Turn on it. Well, the new team in town, so to speak, the Maryville Saints, definitely would like to be invited. And it sounded to me like there was be no reason for them not to be invited. They'll be independent. They'll be playing their transitional year. Well, I'll make it a simple bracket, too. Yeah, yeah, simple. Even, even numbers, even number.

36:12No, it's not a matter of me. It's not even numbers. But it's not. What's wrong with it? Sixth. Oh, nothing. But again, with the time constraints, it does make it simpler. Yeah. Okay. And you'll still, you might even be able to guarantee everybody three games. I don't know. Yeah, well, they would tell you that, well, they like the guarantee part of it. Three and three as Brendan told me multiple times this week is hard, especially when two of them are what he called consolation games. Not to take anything away. Not to take anything away from the fact that they wanted to compete hard and win those games. It's just really hard. Well, maybe they'll be able to do it. Play three for three. Well, maybe next year, they'll be able to stick an off day in there. We'll see. Well, I mean, again, right at the end of the season. Um, yes, they did start on a Thursday, but, you know, depending on schedules, I mean,

37:14it, you know, reason why they couldn't start on a Wednesday. Or play two or one to first of our best of three. Before we go, why don't you quickly rattle off what happened tonight? It was mostly chocolate. Again, except for one team in the CCHA and the NCHC. Well, let's see. So we, we have a do have a couple of game threes tomorrow. So yeah, it was mostly chalk. Ferris State forced a third game with Minnesota State winning an overtime, but of course, because of course, it has to be overtime. That was a two to one game Ferris. Uh, gave up the first goal and came right back and scored to make it one one at the end of the second, and Brett Riley's team gets an overtime win. Outside of that, the other game three tomorrow will take place in Pennsylvania as the Falcons of

38:21Air Force came up short tonight trying to sweep that series against Robert Morris. Um, as the Colonials get a four to one win. But other than that, um, and I don't want to make it sound like they were boring games because they really weren't. Um, some weird stuff going on. Denver, Minnesota, Duluth. Uh, in North Dakota. All weighing along with Western Michigan. Uh, uh, and the, the same cloud Minnesota Duluth game. Oh, uh, Zampland scores late again in like the last 30 seconds to tie the game. And, uh, can I ask you this? Did he just take over the whole B race from his own brother? Who from his own man? What I know, you know, whatever. What a couple of games he's had. And, and then he wins it again in overtime, except this time it took him about four minutes instead of 40 seconds.

39:23Um, uh, Denver and Miami. Uh, Miami was winning that game. Won nothing for a while. Uh, and it seemed like Denver was just having struggles. Um, and then they got a really weird goal. I had never seen it before. Um, the, the, I mean, Denver outshot Miami 13 to two in the first period, but they were losing one. Nothing. Um, and then in the, in the second period, Johnny Hicks who came in for packs and guys all in. I don't know what the, the story with that was because I hadn't turned it on yet. Um, but, uh, drove back makes this, makes a save for, for Miami. It bounces off of his shoulder, bounces on the top of the net,

40:25which I've seen before. But what I have never seen before is it bounced off the top of the net into the crease, hopped over the crossbar into the crease, and was put home by James Reader. And after that, it just kind of all fell apart for Miami. Um, as Denver sweeps that series to games to none. Um, CC was, was, was, was really put doing a good job against Western, trying to stretch that series out to a third game. But, uh, just they couldn't, uh, couldn't get it. And I don't hate to make it sound like they couldn't get it done. It just, you know, they, they had Western shut out for 30, for 50 minutes and just it's hard to shut somebody out. Uh, Jackson Unger played a tremendous game. Hamphids with Kinski was Hamphids with Kinski.

41:27Um, you know, and, uh, and that was that a tech tech beach bowling green to sweep that series. Augustana squeaks by Bemidji. Uh, two to one, uh, Bemidji's only goal was a late extra attacker goal, but still, uh, they outshot Augustana 43 to 19. So you want to say that, uh, Bemidji got goalie, that would be legit. Uh, St Thomas wins five to two, but it was not that easy as, let me tell you, they got, St Thomas got two empty net goals. Yeah, let me tell you, uh, at St Thomas, apparently you have to be named Lucas if you want us to call it. I can. Yeah, well, yeah, yeah. I think he said he had 13 games already scheduled with NCAA teams so hoping to play about 20 and play another 10 against ACHA and youth sports teams and maybe even a division three team here or there. So that'll be exciting. That's the newest team in college hockey. And if you're in St. Louis, you want to watch some great college hockey that's not NCAA. The ACHA M1 tournament starts this Thursday right here in St. Louis and we'll have covered John it for that. Plus of course all of the the next rounds of the NCAA conference tournaments as well.
